The reactions of 4-methylpiperazin-1-amine, 2-amino- and 4-aminomethylpiperidines with pyridoxal afforded the corresponding azomethines. Their reactions with organic and inorganic acids lead to the formation of salt derivatives of pyridoxal azomethines.

New nitrogen-containing derivatives of pyridoxal were obtained as a result of its reaction with various amines. The reactions with amines bearing a heterocyclic fragment (pyridine, pyrimidine, quinoline, piperidine) furnished the final products stabilized in an aminoacetal form. The product prepared from 2-aminomethylpiperidine has an imidazolidine fragment in the molecule.

New salt structures have been synthesized from pyridoxal and various organic and inorganic acids.

The reaction of pyridoxal with 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde in a hydrochloric acid solution gave 1-(5-formyl-2,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3-dihydrofuro[3,4-c]pyridin-5-ium chloride. Treatment of the latter with sodium hydride in ethanol afforded a free aldehyde in 85% yield. A series of azomethines and imidazolidines was obtained by reacting the obtained aldehyde with various amines and diamines.

2-(2-Hydroxyaryl)imidazolidines were synthesized by reaction of aromatic carbonyl compounds with N,N′-dialkylethylenediamines. The title compounds were also prepared using the corresponding Schiff bases instead of carbonyl compounds. Phosphorylation of 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazolidines with phosphoryl and phosphorothioyl chlorides and phosphorochloridites was accomplished. The reaction of O-phosphorylsalicylaldehyde with N,N′-dialkylethylenediamines also afforded 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazolidines.

Interaction of pyridoxal (3-hydroxy-5-hydroxymethyl-2-methylisonicotinaldehyde) with amines, mono- and disubstituted diamines led to the formation of compounds having in their structure imine, imidazolidine, and pyrimidine moieties. Structure of the obtained compounds was proved by IR data, 1H NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction analysis.

Reactions of pyridoxal with benzoic acid and its derivatives in alcoholic medium afforded alkoxyfuropyridinium salts with potential biological activity.

The investigation proposes a number of approaches to assessment of the factors of historical heritage in terms of their impact on quality of living and socio-economic development of a multicultural region. The monitoring variant and the complex of methods were substantiated to give predictive assessment of the prospects of socio-economic development of a region in the analysis of historical retrospective of its development. They are based on the analysis of the category of quality of life and represent the combination of logical modeling methods (including the construction of forecast scenarios), mathematical-statistical and expert judgments.In particular, the authors propose a modified index statistical method of monitoring and forecasting of the dynamics of the quality of life of a region, taking into account a social differentiation of its territory. The authors have elaborated the quality of life (dynamics) change indicators, considering a historical retrospective. These indicators form the basis for the identification and analysis of regional development scenario variants. The paper also presents an adaptable method of expert judgments based on a questionnaire for social and economic forecasting.The Republic of Tatarstan, being one of the most dynamic multicultural regions of Russia with rich historical and cultural heritage was selected as a base region. The paper presents a number of forecast scenarios of development of the region, based on the differentiation of the quality of life of regional community, and takes into account local areas of compact settlement of various ethnic groups.The comparative evaluation of these scenarios is provided.

The impact of large-scale logistics center (LC), which carries out integrated logistics (information, storage and transport) services at the organization of full-transport control, on the development of regional economy is analyzed. Problems of relationship of changes in the organization of transport environment of region and increase of efficiency of its economy by increasing budget revenues as a result of the performance of large-scale logistics center, and constructing on this basis new service industries are investigated. Authors assess prospects of influence of Sviyazhsky interregional logistics center on the economic development of Tatar Republic, and increase of competitiveness of its economy, taking into account service of international transit traffic “Western Europe - Western East”, “Northern Europe - Countries of the Middle East” which is accomplished by this LC.

An approach to solving of optimization problems of inter-municipal passenger bus transportation routes network based on the development of a regional standard of service quality and the system of principles of its designing is proposed. A model of passenger traffic is discussed. Defining of network is based on the formation of a feasible set of route variants with choosing their optimal combination. The method and the indicators for quality rating of a route network are proposed.

The reaction of imine I with ethylenechlorophosphite II afforded cyclic phosphonate III as a mixture of diastereomers (δP 15.92, 16.13 ppm) in the 70:30 ratio. Hydrolysis of III gave aminophosphonate IV (δP 10.41 ppm). The reaction proceeded via phosphorylation of imine I at the hydroxyl group with elimination of hydrogen chloride. The latter protonated the imine nitrogen atom, increasing electrophilicity of the C=N bond. Attack of the trivalent phosphorus atom was accompanied by formation of an activated imino spirocyclic moiety which was converted into III as a result of attack of chloride anion at the carbon atom of dioxaphospholane fragment (Scheme 1).
