Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media pembelajaran visual berbasis aplikasi canva dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan anak PAUD Kecamatan Kuningan Kabupaten Kuningan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi data untuk memilah data dan menarik kesimpulan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media pembelajaran visual berbasis aplikasi canva membuat anak lebih aktif dan antusias dalam belajar, karena tampilan media canva yang menarik, tampilan-tampilan gambar dan warna yang sesuai dan menarik minat belajar anak yang didukungan dengan rasa ingin tahu anak tentang media visual tersebut sangat tinggi. Setelah menggunakan aplikasi canva secara keseluruhan hasil observasi pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran menggunan media visual berbasis Canva didapatkan data 89,8% tergolong kategori sangat aktif.

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter kinerja, untuk mengetahui model pendidikan karakter kinerja yang diterapkan pada sekolah menengah, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat terhadap efektivitas model pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di sekolah menengah agar mengetahui model hipotetik pendidikan karakter kinerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research development (R&D) dari borg & gall. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dengan karakter yang sama di Kuningan yang ditentukan secara propursive sampling sejumlah 120 siswa. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi penelitian pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, rancangan model awal, uji coba pendahuluan & revisi model, uji coba model utama & revisi model II, uji coba operasional revisi model III, model pendidikan karakter kinerja yang sudah di kembangkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model pendidikan karakter kinerja efektif dalam menguatkan karakter kinerja siswa di sekolah, faktor penghambat pembentukan karakter yaitu kurang ada kesadaran dari siswa, faktor keluarga, masyarakat yang kurang mendukung, perkembangan teknologi yang disalahgunakan, dan model pendidikan karakter terbukti dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dan efektif terhadap peningkatan karakter kinerja siswa.

The purpose of this study was to prove the researcher's hypothesis, which was related to the satisfaction level analysis of the SIKOJA application’s users in Jambi City during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discussing the use of applications in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Optimal use of Information and Communication Technology resources allows the government to implement new ways of running information services to the fullest. This study used quantitative methods with data sources from questionnaires via google form with 93 respondents. Data management was carried out using SEM-pls. This study used the PICIES Framework theory to determine the factors that influenced people in using SIKOJA sensitive applications. The measured variables were performance, efficiency, information, service, and control. The results of this study indicated that the value of R square was .738, the satisfaction level of using the application was 73.8%, which the R-square identified was in the medium category. Variables that influenced users of the Jambi City SIKOJA application were performance, efficiency, information, service, and control.

This research aims to develop a model of performance character education, find out the performance character education model applied to middle schools, and determine the inhibiting factors to the effectiveness of the character education model applied in middle schools. Also, it aims to know the hypothetical model of performance character education. The method used in this research was research development or research development (R&D) from Borg & Gnall. The subject of this research was SMA/MA Kuningan which was determined by purposive sampling of 120 students. The development stages included information gathering research, planning, initial model design, preliminary testing & model revision, main model testing & model revision II, operational testing & model revision III, and performance character education models. The results of this study indicated that the performance character education model effectively strengthened the performance character of students at school. The inhibiting factors for character building are lack of student awareness, family factors, unsupportive society, misused technological developments, and character education models that have proven to influence student performance character positively and effectively.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membahas tentang bagaimana agar manusia bisa berkarakter dan berbudi luhur menurut teori Ki Hajar Dewantara dimulai dari sejak Paud. Metode yang saya pake adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis disini saya mengumpulkan beberapa materi dari berbagai sumber, dari berbagai jurnal dan beberapa buku lalu saya mengkaji/mendalami materi – materi yang sudah saya kumpulkan. konsep pemikiran Ki Hajar Dewantara, pendidikan merupakan pengaruh positif untuk kemajuan seseorang yang datang dari siapa pun dan dimana pun, pendidikan dapat dipahami dalam dua aspek yang terdiri dari bentuk kegiatan dan tujuan dalam konteks penyelenggaraannya. Dalam bentuk kegiatanya, pendidikan merupakan daya upaya kebudayaan, pendidikan sebagai daya upaya kebudayaan diorientasikan pada upaya pengembangan individu agar mampu menjadi manusia yang dapat menjani hidup dan berkehidupan secara beradab yang artinya pendidikan bertujuan menjadikan manusia berbudi pekerti luhur atau berkarakter. Pendidikan anak usia dini, didasari bagaimana pola pengasuhan.. Dengan membina, menumbuhkan, dan mengembangkan potensi anak usia dini secara optimal maka anak akan memiliki kesiapan untuk memasuki pendidikan lebih lanjut. Pendidikan bagi anak yaitu sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak pada segala aspek perkembangan anak. Menanamkan pendidikan pada anak usia dini agar menjadi manusia yang berbudi luhur dan berkarakter, pendidikan bagi anak usia dini merupakan suatau awal perjalanan untuk masa depannya, ketika pendidikan itu menjadikan anak tersebut menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya maka dari itu pendidikan berhasil membuat anak tersbut menjdadi pribadi yang berkarakter. Setiap orang tua dan pendidik harus menanamkan pendidikan karakter pada anak seperti tentang spiritualnya, kepribadiannya, lingkungan sosialnya. Berprilaku positif atau negatif sangat ditentukan oleh lingkungannya karna lingkungan sangat berpengaruh tehadap prilaku seseorang. Maka dari itu membentuk karakter positif sejak anak usia dini sangat baik untuk perkembangnnya..

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan perkembangan moral anak. Pengawasan orang tua dalam proses belajar anak itu sangat penting, menjadi orang tua yang ideal bagi anaknya yaitu dengan cara memberikan komunikasi yang baik kepada anaknya. Komunikasi yang baik seperti memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk berbicara, bertanya, dan menghargai pendapat anak. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan korelatif antar variabel. Hubungan korelatif mengacu pada kecenderungan hubungan variabel satu dengan variabel yang lainnya. Hasil dari pembahasan ditemukan bahwa sekolah online dapat membawa kendala dan dampak yang signifikan bagi anak sebagai peserta didik maupun guru sebagai tenaga pengajar dan peran orang tua. Orang tua harus lebih mampu meningkatkan pengawasan dan mendidik anak dengan baik apalagi di masa pandemi agar anak- anak mereka menjadi anak yang berkualitas dan mengharumkan nama Indonesia serta menumbuhkan motivasi dalam belajar.

IKN is in a good and sufficient position in terms of energy security, especially in terms of renewable energy. To prevent harm to Kalimantan's ecology and natural beauty, it is vital to pay attention to and routinely check factors of energy efficiency and emission levels. This research aimed to look at the challenges and opportunities of implementing clean and affordable energy in the development of the National Capital of the Archipelago. This study used qualitative research methods that described the findings through online media, and the data source of this research is online news media. The data was obtained using the Ncapture feature on the Nvivo 12 Plus. The results of the study showed that the development of the Kayan River Hydroelectric Power Plant encourages economic development by as much as 37%, environmental development by as much as 35%, and social development by as much as 28%. Then the second challenge of hydropower development is environmental development, as much as 33.33%. The third challenge is economic development, which is 31.82%. Kayan hydropower construction will consist of five dams, the first phase will produce a 900-megawatt dam, the second dam of 1,200 megawatts, the third dam of 1,800 megawatts, the fourth dam of 1,800, and the fifth dam of 3,200 megawatts.

This study aims to investigate Indonesian senior high school teachers' perceptions of using the first language (L1) when teaching English because Indonesian teachers tend to have negative perceptions toward the application of the L1, while the L1 is needed in a situation where Indonesian students have limited skills in English. The semi-structured interview was applied to collect data, while thematic analysis was used to analyse it. The result showed that the teachers have three different positions in perceiving the use of the L1: the virtual position, maximal, and optimal positions. Although they have different perceptions toward the application of the L1, a major insight can be concluded about the limited use of the L1 for specific reasons, such as considering teachers' and students' English abilities, learners' needs, and the type and the difficulty of the given task or assignment. The L1 can be functioned as scaffolding in three aspects: when teaching grammar, vocabulary, and when giving instructions. Teachers may consider this study's results as the information to use the L1 in classrooms. This may also be beneficial for Indonesian educational stakeholders and the government to specifically define what type of scaffolding that teachers can use the L1 to teach English.

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar terhadap aspek-aspek kehidupan terutama aspek pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Dalam upaya mencari model pembelajaran yang cocok dan relevan dengan karakteristik siswa, flipped learning hadir sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran alternatif yang dapat di implementasikan dalam kondisi yang serba terbatas seperti ini. Pengenalan flipped learning sendiri menjadi tujuan utama dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini agar kesempatan sekolah yang dalam hal ini Madrasah Ibtidaiyah memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Pengabdian ini berlangsung selama dua hari dimana pada hari pertama fokus perhatian ditujukan pada pengenalan flipped learning secara teori. Adapun dalam pengabdian ini juga peserta pelatihan diberikan kesempatan utuk mendesain video pembelajaran yang akan digunakan. Setelah semua komponen pembelajaran siap, guru di madrasah didampingi untuk mengimplementasikan flipped learning. Hasil yang didapat tentu tidak hanya peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang siswa, melainkan juga pengalaman baru baik bagi siswa dan juga guru agar pembelajaran lebih efektif dan dinamis

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah saat atlet mendapatkan peluang melakukan shooting, bola yang ditendang sering melenceng, mudah ditangkap oleh kiper lawan, bola yang ditendang terlalu lambat dan tidak tepat pada sasaran sehingga sulit medapatkan kesempatan mencetak gol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi daya ledak otot tungkai, koordinasi mata-kaki dan keseimbangan terhadap akurasi shooting atlet sepak bola SSB PSTS Tabing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet sekolah sepak bola SSB PSTS Tabing berdasarkan kelompok umur U6-U9 tahun, U10-U13 tahun, U14-U17 tahun, dan > 18 tahun berjumlah 120 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel pada kelompok U14-U17 tahun sebanyak 30 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen standing board jumpt test, tes koordinasi mata-kaki, stork stand test, dan tes menembak bola. Teknik analisis data koefisien korelasi dan uji signifikansi. Hasil penelitian ini daya ledak otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi sebesar 34,465%, koordinasi mata-kaki memberikan kontribusi sebesar 29,919%, keseimbangan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 21,767%, serta daya ledak otot tungkai, koordinasi mata-kaki dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama berkontribusi sebesar 64,047% terhadap akurasi shooting sepak bola. Jadi dapat disimpulkan daya ledak otot tungkai, koordinasi mata-kaki dan keseimbangan sangat berperan penting pada akurasi shooting atlet sepakbola SSB PSTS Tabing.

This study explores the Implementation Analysis of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMKN 10 Luwu to foster creative and innovative students. The research delves into the curriculum implementation process, challenges faced, and outcomes through qualitative descriptive methods, including interviews and observations. Findings reveal successful implementation for the 2022/2023 academic year, showcasing teachers' proficiency in lesson planning and differentiated learning. Challenges include teachers' creative teaching methods, school environment considerations, and resource constraints. Addressing these requires training, community support, improved infrastructure, increased supervision, and collaboration. While the curriculum is effectively applied, refinement is ongoing, and some teachers encounter challenges in assessment timing. Despite this, teachers at SMKN 10 Luwu actively engage in the implementation process.

This study aims to explain the application of realistic mathematics education in addition and subtraction mathematics learning in class III of SDN 1 Sudimampir, one of the low motivation of students to learn mathematics addition and subtraction is caused by learning activities that are more teacher-centered, so students are less actively involved in the learning process and result in monotonous learning activities in the classroom. Based on the above problems, improvements can be made to increase motivation to learn mathematics using realistic mathematics education. population and sample in the study focused on class III students, the method used in this study was the experimental method. The data collection technique is to provide learning and working on the problem, then grouping values based on the results of student performance in working on mathematical questions, arranged based on group distribution data for more specific value distribution into the mean median mode and graphs in order to find out the results of applying realistic mathematical methods education is expected to increase students 'motivation to learn mathematics, from the study there was a significant increase in the mean score of students' scores in mathematics learning addition and subtraction, namely ± 67,57.

Beton adalah material untuk infrastruktur sipil yang sangat sering ditemukan dan digunakan di Indonesia. Beton memiliki berbagai kelebihan di antaranya ekonomis, tahan lama, ketahanan terhadap api yang tinggi dan kemudahan untuk mendapatkan bahan penyusunnya. Beton memiliki berat lebih kurang 2400 kg/m3, berat sendiri beton yang cukup tinggi merupakan salah satu kelemahan yang dimiliki beton. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi sifat dasar mekanik beton ringan yang dikombinasikan dengan fiber. Batu apung digunakan pada penelitian ini sebagai agregat kasar sehingga berat jenis dari beton menjadi berkurang. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan daktilitas beton digunakan dua jenis serat sebagai material tambahan. Serat buatan yang digunakan berupa glass fiber dan steel fiber dengan jumlahnya divariasikan dari 0%; 0,5%; 0,75% dan 1,0% dari total berat binder. Beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan pada studi ini yaitu memeriksa sifat beton segar dan beton yang telah mengeras. Pengujian slump dilakukan untuk memeriksa tingkat workabilitas beton segar sedangkan kuat tekan dan kuat tarik belah pada umur beton 28 hari dengan benda uji berbentuk silinder digunakan untuk menginvestigasi sifat beton yang telah mengeras. Hasil pemeriksaan beton segar menunjukkan bahwa penambahan jumlah serat yang tinggi menghasilkan workabilitas yang rendah. Sedangkan sifat beton keras menunjukkan bahwa baik kuat tekan maupun kuat tarik belah dengan jumlah serat yang tinggi mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan dengan beton normal.

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu apa faktor internal dan eksternal untuk mempromosikan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor pengolahan rambut palsu. Studi ini juga menganalisis terkait strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 97 responden yang merupakan pekerja laki-laki yang saat ini bekerja di bagian pengolahan rambut palsu. Kemudian, responden ahli dalam penelitian ini adalah industri pengolahan rambut palsu dan Departemen Tenaga Kerja Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor Evaluasi Faktor Internal (IFE) adalah 2,3597. Sedangkan skor Evaluasi Faktor Eksternal (EFE) adalah 3,1229. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi internal untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu masuk ke kategori sedang. Sedangkan kondisi eksternal untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi. Jadi arah strategis penyerapan tenaga kerja laki-laki di sektor industri pengolahan rambut palsu yang berada di divisi dua. Yaitu dalam pertumbuhan dan fase pembangunan yang dapat ditingkatkan dengan konsentrasi melalui integrasi horizontal This research Using the SWOT analysis, this study seeks to find out what are the strategic factors internal and external to promote absorption of men in fake hair processing sector. This study also attempts to analyze the strategies that can be done to increase the absorption of men labor in the sector. The sample in this study amounted to 97 respondents who are men workers who are currently worked in the fake hair processing. Then, the expert respondents in this study is the fake hair processing industry and Purbalingga labor department. The results showed that the score of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) is 2,3597. While the score of External Factor Evaluation (EFE) is 3,1229. This indicates that the internal conditions for increasing absorption of men labor in the fake hair processing industry sector into the medium category. While the external conditions for increasing absorption of men labor in the fake hair processing industry sector into the high category. So the strategic direction of the absorption of male labor in the fake hair processing industry sector that are in division two. That is in a growth and a building phase which can be improved by concentration through horizontal integration.

As technology dynamically progresses with new inventions, Augmented Reality (AR) technology emerges as one of the prominent inventions of the current technology development. This technology works by producing additional data including texts, animations, images, audio, and even haptic feedback embedded in the real world without manipulating the existing real environment. This study attempts to highlight the potential of AR technology as an educational tool, specifically for language teaching and learning. Using particular criteria of inclusion and exclusion, this study collected and reviewed a total of 22 articles from 21 journals and one proceeding. The findings revealed the research purposes, methods and instruments, language focus, participants, and the types of AR Applications. Subsequently, regarding the affordances of this technology, this study revealed that AR technology could contribute to the development of language performance and learning achievement, increase learning satisfaction, and reduce learning anxiety. This technology facilitated situated, personalized, and collaborative learning settings. Barriers to the application of this technology were identified including technical limitations, inequal technological competence, and health and social issues. Based on these findings, several implications were formulated.

Open access land mining activities on the Lubuk Selasih – Surian national road have in floods and landslides that have, in losses to the community and the imposition of costs for maintenance and rehabilitation of federal roads along the mining area. This study aims to determine the existing condition of mining and analyze the vulnerability of erosions in mining areas. The data used is secondary data, using descriptive quantitative methods with photogrammetric analysis of the maps obtained. The results showed that this mining area has the characteristics of rocks that are easily crushed and tend to be unstable, as well as steep and very steep slopes. This area is also located on the active Semangko fault and volcanic mountains. The environmental carrying capacity of disaster prevention and protection ecosystem services is mainly in the shallow categories. Based on these findings, the mine site is at a very high level of vulnerability to erosions. Thus, it is necessary to mitigate mining management administratively and operationally to minimize environmental damage

Abstract Background Haemophilus influenzae causes life-threatening invasive diseases such as septicaemia and meningitis. Reports on circulating H. influenzae causing invasive disease in lower-middle income settings, including Indonesia, are lacking. This study describes the serotype distributions and whole-genome sequence (WGS) data of H. influenzae isolated from hospitalized patients at Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia. Methods H. influenzae isolates were isolated from blood and pleural fluid specimens and identified using culture-based and molecular methods, followed by serotyping and WGS using RT‒PCR and Illumina MiSeq, respectively. Sequencing reads were assembled, and further analyses were undertaken to determine the genomic content and reconstruct the phylogeny. A second dataset consisting of publicly available H. influenzae genomes was curated to conduct phylogenetic analyses of isolates in this study in the context of globally circulating isolates. Results Ten H. influenzae isolates from hospitalized patients were collected, and septicaemia was the most common diagnosis (n=8). RT‒PCR and WGS were performed to determine whether all the isolates were nontypeable H. influenzae (NTHi). There were four newly identified STs distributed across the two main clusters. A total of 91 out of 126 virulence factor (VF)-related genes in Haemophilus sp. were detected in at least one isolate. Further evaluation incorporating a global collection of H. influenzae genomes confirmed the diverse population structure of NTHi in this study. Conclusion This study showed that all H. influenzae recovered from invasive disease patients were nonvaccine-preventable NTHi isolates. The inclusion of WGS revealed four novel STs and the possession of key VF-associated genes.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan proses perumusan visi dan misi sekolah; (2) mendeskripsikan strategi yang dibuat sekolah dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi; (3) mendeskripsikan gambaran ketercapaian dari visi yang telah dibuat sekolah; (4) mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi sekolah dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi selama ini; dan (5) menemukan strategi yang efektif dalam mewujudkan visi dan misi yang telah dirumuskan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Data dianalisis melalui proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) proses perumusan visi dan misi sekolah dilakukan melalui rapat internal yang dibuat oleh kepala sekolah dengan memperhatikan visi lembaga di atas sekolah, nilai-nilai dalam masyarakat, dan relevansi dengan perkembangan zaman; (2) strategi yang dibuat ketiga sekolah memang sedikit berbeda-beda namun pada dasarnya dapat dianalisis dengan dimensi proses, konten, dan konteks; (3) visi ketiga sekolah dapat dikatakan belum tercapai karena beberapa unsur yang ada di dalam visi belum sepenuhnya terwujud; (4) sumber daya manusia, pendanaan, metode, sarana prasarana, kepemimpinan sekolah, dan komunikasi mempengaruhi ketercapaian dari visi dan misi sekolah; dan (5) strategi yang efektif dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah dapat dilakukan dengan cara membangun harapan individu menjadi visi bersama, membuat prioritas pembangunan dengan indikator ketercapaiannya, membangun motivasi berprestasi, meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua, dan membangun kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak. Kata kunci: strategi mewujudkan visi dan misi STRATEGIES IN ACTUALIZING VISION AND MISSION SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN DISTRICT KASIHAN, BANTUL Abstract This study aims to: (1) describe the formulation of schools’ vision and missions; (2) describe the schools’ strategies to actualize the vision and mission; (3) describe the illustration of vision and missions achievement formulated by schools; (4) identify factors that affect the schools in actualizing their visions and missions; and (5) find an effective strategy to actualize the vision and mission. The study used a qualitative approach with the type of phenomenology. Data were analyzed through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results of the study: (1) the process formulation of schools’ vision and missions was done by internal meeting conducted by the headmaster by considering higher institution’s vision, values in society, and relevance of current development (2) strategies designed by those three schools are little bit different and can be basically analyzed with the dimension of process, content, and context (3) the schools’ visions were said to be not yet achieved since some elements/components of vision and mission have not been completed (4) human’s resource, funding, methods, facility and infrastructure, leadership in school, and communication affect the actualization of schools’ visions and missions, and (5) effective strategy to actualize vision and missions of schools can be done by uniting individual expectation into shared vision, creating development priority along with its achievement indicator, building achievement motivation, increasing parent’s participation, and building partnership with any stakeholders. New TBC styles or modern TBC, such as secularism, liberalism, materialism, syncretism and relativism, and other isms that it is shirk and modern hypocrite which are no less dangerous than the traditional TBC. In addition the problem of poverty, economic disparities, pornography, crime and other social problems remains a heavy burden for the nation. Islamic progressive of Muhammadiyah as a trade mark in this period is a movement of enlightenment for the people and nation.

The distribution map of physical education learning motivation could provide information about the electability of motivational items (questionnaires) distributed to several elementary school students. In more detail, this study would analyze the grouping of the electability level of physical education learning motivation items in elementary schools through a combination of standard deviation (SD) values and logit mean scores. Twenty-one students aged 13-14 years participated in this study by filling out a motivation to learn physical education questionnaire. The data analysis technique was performed through Rasch modeling assisted by the Winsteps 3.75 application. The results indicated that there were variations in the level of electability of physical education learning motivation items. The grouping was based on several item categories, including extremely difficult to get elected item category with a logit value greater than + 1SD; difficult to get elected item category with a value of 0.0 logit +1 SD; easy to get elected item category with a value of 0.0 logit -1 SD; and extremely easy to get elected item category with a value smaller than --SD. An ideal set of motivation items could identify the various motivations of students with diverse levels of motivation.

Self-determination can affect students to have a positive way of thinking and acting, also to make realistic choices so they can make a decision responsibly. This study aimed to develop a questionnaire to measure student self-determination and validate it. This study was conducted in 2019, involved 406 university students as participants consisting of 78 males and 328 females, aged 20-24 years in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This study utilized the quantitative approach as its method and there are 18 questionnaires with a 7-point Likert scale as an answer choice. The data analysis used the Rasch model, "i.e." Winsteps software. Study results show that the Cronbach Alpha value, which measures the interaction between the person and items, is 0.96, which falls into the excellent category of performance. In addition, the Person Reliability of 0.94 demonstrates that the respondents have consistently correctly answered questions, even in the outstanding category. The items in the self-determination questionnaire have high reliability so that they can be used to measure the self-determination of university students.

This study investigates Religiosity and Plurality among Students and Lecturers at Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in South Sulawesi, aiming to 1) assess their levels, 2) identify influencing factors, and 3) evaluate developmental effectiveness for both aspects. Employing a mixed-methods approach within a Religious and Cultural Education framework, the research utilized observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation for data collection, followed by a comprehensive data analysis process. Results from 77 respondents indicated high levels of religiosity (87.7%) and plurality (86%), signifying an excellent standing in both dimensions. Influential factors for these dimensions were the educational and community environments, highlighting that family, campus, and societal contexts play significant roles. It was noted that cooperation across different backgrounds is widely accepted, provided it does not conflict with personal beliefs. The study also found that the developmental patterns implemented at PTKIN in South Sulawesi are effective, enabling students and lecturers to appreciate and navigate religious, ethnic, cultural, and racial diversity successfully. Implications of the research emphasize the importance of understanding and practising religiosity and plurality within the PTKIN community in South Sulawesi. Such practices are essential for fostering a harmonious religious, national, and state life, aligning with Pancasila's values and the belief in the One Supreme God.

Integrating Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) and learning technologies can be the potential framework in designing language instruction to enhance learners' listening comprehension and speaking performance. However, not many past studies have explored how technology enhanced TBLT can enhance both listening comprehension and speaking performance of ESP learners. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of TBLT on ESP learners' listening comprehension and speaking performance using a quasi-experiment with nonequivalent (pretest and posttest) control-group design. Ninety-seven ESP learners majoring in a Nursing program participated in the study. Four instruments were used for data collection, namely a listening section of TOEFL test, an online presentation, role-play, and online group discussion. Findings showed that technology implementation enhanced TBLT significantly influenced students' listening comprehension. In a similar vein, ESP learners' speaking performance based on role-play also had considerable improvement. However, concerning ESP learners' online presentations and online group discussions, their speaking performance scores did not improve significantly after receiving this experimental treatment. These findings shed some light on students' involvement in attaining multifarious language inputs related to their listening comprehension due to the authentic and technological learning materials and media. In considering speaking performance enhancement, ESP students could benefit from merging the role-play in ESP instruction with technology enhanced TBLT.

This study aims to show the effect of individual SMS [short message service]-based academic vocabulary reporting activities on EAP [English for academic purposes] learners' general academic vocabulary learning and attitudes. An experimental design was employed for this purpose. A total of 60 EAP students were randomly assigned to three different cohorts, consisting of 20 students each. The three different cohorts received 120 academic words and reported their meaning and definition in Indonesian (AVRI), in English (AVRE), and in both Indonesian and English (AVRIE). Then, a general academic vocabulary test (GAVT) was administered to assess their academic vocabulary acquisition. The findings indicate that learning English academic vocabulary applying mixed languages revealed higher vocabulary scores gains than the other two groups because the double representations of the meanings strengthen their comprehension and acquisition. Learners also show positive attitudes toward the implementation of SMS-based reporting activities as they can select their vocabulary more freely to suit their learning needs.
