We have compiled the most complete compact and ultracompact HII region catalogue to date via multi-wavelength inspection of survey data. We utilise data from the recently available SASSy 850$\mu$m survey to identify massive star forming clumps in the outer Galaxy ($R_{\rm{GC}}>8.5$ kpc) and cross-match with infrared and radio data of known UC HII regions from the RMS database. For the inner Galaxy sample ($R_{\rm{GC}}<8.5$ kpc), we adopt the compact HII regions from previous works that used similar methods to cross match ATLASGAL with either CORNISH or RMS, depending on the location within the Galactic plane. We present a new UC HII region catalogue that more than doubles the original sample size of previous work, totaling 536 embedded HII regions and 445 host clumps. We examine the distance independent values of N$_{\rm{Ly}}/$M and L$_{\rm{bol}}/$M as proxies for massive star formation efficiency and overall star formation efficiency, respectively. We find a significant trend showing that L$_{\rm{bol}}/$M decreases with increasing $R_{\rm{GC}}$, suggesting that the overall star formation per unit mass is less in the outer Galaxy., Comment: updated to correct typos. 15 pages

Astrophysics - Abstract
We report the discovery by the Robotic Optical Transient Experiment (ROTSE-IIIb) telescope of SN 2008es, an overluminous supernova (SN) at z=0.205 with a peak visual magnitude of -22.2. We present multiwavelength follow-up observations with the Swift satellite and several ground-based optical telescopes. The ROTSE-IIIb observations constrain the time of explosion to be 23+/-1 rest-frame days before maximum. The linear decay of the optical light curve, and the combination of a symmetric, broad H\alpha emission line profile with broad P Cygni H\beta and Na I \lambda5892 profiles, are properties reminiscent of the bright Type II-L SNe 1979C and 1980K, although SN 2008es is greater than 10 times more luminous. The host galaxy is undetected in pre-supernova Sloan Digital Sky Survey images, and similar to Type II-L SN 2005ap (the most luminous SN ever observed), the host is most likely a dwarf galaxy with M_r > -17. Swift Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope observations in combination with Palomar photometry measure the SED of the SN from 200 to 800 nm to be a blackbody that cools from a temperature of 14,000 K at the time of the optical peak to 6400 K 65 days later. The inferred blackbody radius is in good agreement with the radius expected for the expansion speed measured from the broad lines (10,000 km/s). The bolometric luminosity at the optical peak is 2.8 x 10^44 erg/s, with a total energy radiated over the next 65 days of 5.6 x 10^50 erg. We favor a model in which the exceptional peak luminosity is a consequence of the core-collapse explosion of a progenitor star with a low-mass extended hydrogen envelope and a stellar wind with a density close to the upper limit on the mass-loss rate measured from the lack of an X-ray detection by the Swift X-Ray Telescope. - Abstract
This paper presents the basic features of a software system developed to support the teaching of digital logic, as well as the experience of using it in the Digital Logic course taught at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia. The system has been used for several years, both by students for self-learning and laboratory work, and by teachers to automate the assessment and verification of students' work. The system allows users to design and simulate a switching circuit. It also collects data on all student activities and transfers these to the school's information system. Finally, the paper gives figures demonstrating the overall benefits of the system.

- Abstract
Courses in Computer Architecture and Organization are regularly included in Computer Engineering curricula. These courses are usually organized in such a way that students obtain not only a purely theoretical experience, but also a practical understanding of the topics lectured. This practical work is usually done in a laboratory using simulators of computer systems. Since the open literature contains a variety of simulators being used for such purposes, this paper attempts to give a survey of simulators suitable for teaching courses in computer architecture and organization, to establish the evaluation criteria and to evaluate selected simulators according to these criteria. (Contains 4 tables and 2 figures.)

- Abstract
Finding communication strategies that effectively motivate social distancing continues to be a global public health priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. This crosscountry, preregistered experiment (n = 25,718 from 89 countries) tested hypotheses concerning generalizable positive and negative outcomes of social distancing messages that promoted personal agency and reflective choices (i.e., an autonomy-supportive message) or were restrictive and shaming (i.e., a controlling message) compared with no message at all. Results partially supported experimental hypotheses in that the controlling message increased controlled motivation (a poorly internalized form of motivation relying on shame, guilt, and fear of social consequences) relative to no message. On the other hand, the autonomy-supportive message lowered feelings of defiance compared with the controlling message, but the controlling message did not differ from receiving no message at all. Unexpectedly, messages did not influence autonomous motivation (a highly internalized form of motivation relying on one's core values) or behavioral intentions. Results supported hypothesized associations between people's existing autonomous and controlled motivations and self-reported behavioral intentions to engage in social distancing. Controlled motivation was associated with more defiance and less long-term behavioral intention to engage in social distancing, whereas autonomous motivation was associated with less defiance and more short- and long-term intentions to social distance. Overall, this work highlights the potential harm of using shaming and pressuring language in public health communication, with implications for the current and future global health challenges.

Purpose: Popular media and health services data suggest a shift in pregnant women’s attitudes toward increasing acceptance of labor epidural analgesia (LEA) and primary elective cesarean delivery (CD) in North America. We sought to provide a snapshot of women’s attitudes towards these interventions within our institution. Methods: Following REB approval and consent, women were recruited in three groups to participate in a mixed methods survey examining attitudes/preferences for LEA and delivery mode. Groups were: (1) young non-pregnant women (18- 25 years) from a university campus, (2) pregnant women attending antenatal clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (SHSC), and (3) older (>50 years), non-pregnant women providing non-professional labor support at SHSC. Results: 281 women participated. Thirty-two percent (38/120) of Group 1, 52% (54/103) of Group 2, and 64% (36/56) of Group 3 indicated that they would choose LEA for pain avoidance, to enjoy childbirth, conserve energy, and “no good reason not to”. Conversely, 7.5% (9/120) of Group 1, 16% (16/103) of Group 2 and 16% (9/56) of Group 3 indicated that they would not want LEA for fear of risks and resistance to medical interventions. Notably, 6% (7/119) of Group 1, 10% (10/104) of Group 2 and 13% (7/56) of Group 3 indicated a preference for CD to avoid labor pain and perineal injury, maintain control and for perceived safety. Conclusions: Rising LEA and cesarean rates may reflect their increasing acceptance by women regardless of age and pregnancy status. Further work is required to explore our findings across a larger number of settings.

The potential of biomass as a renewable energy source leads Serbia to be the top of European countries by the amount of available but unused biomass. Technologies for its use are available and ecologically acceptable. Moreover, they are not expensive high-tech solutions even for the poor investment environment of Serbia, while other options seem to be less achievable. From the other point of view, Serbia has a huge percentage of unused agriculture land. Agricultural production in Serbia languishes: a large share of agricultural land therefore remains untreated, and there is a significant proportion of degraded land. From all the above, biomass intended for energy production is becoming an increasingly important factor in the stabilization of agricultural activities. Orientation towards the growing bioenergy crops versus conventional crop cultivation becomes an interesting option. The aim of this paper is to point out the possibility of growing energy crops in accordance with the conditions and cultural practice in rural areas of Serbia. First of all, the cultivation of energy crops on lower quality land is being discussed, in order to revitalize the rural areas of crops through their inclusion into potential energy sector. Next is the theme of throwing more light on the increase in the area under this competitive agricultural production to correct land use in terms of climate change in Serbia. The goal of this paper is to point out the contribution of the share of biomass in energy production and consumption, and the effect of reducing the negative environmental impact., {"references":["N. Major depression is a very common and serious mood disorder characterized by heterogeneous etiopathology. Treatment of the disease usually involves the use of antidepressant medications whose basic mechanism is achieved via increasing synaptic levels of monoamine neurotransmitters in different brain regions affected by the disease. Currently used antidepressant medications display limited efficacy with a pronounced delay to onset of action, and they all provoke disturbing side effects. With the ultimate goal of uncovering the primary postsynaptic actions that may initiate cellular antidepressive signaling, basic and clinical researches are devoted to studying the effects of antidepressants, particularly those most commonly used, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), on the complex signaling network that is known to be altered in depression. This includes the effects of antidepressants on the hypothalamic-pituitaryadrenal axis (HPA) activity, production of neurotrophins and regulation of neurogenesis, pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress and mitochondrial functioning. Herein, we discuss the latest published data from animal and clinical studies that have examined the effects of different SSRIs on depression-related pathophysiological mechanisms. Special attention will be dedicated to gender-specific effects of SSRIs action and to their adverse effects. © 2015 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
