In this work, in order to synthesize new physiologically active substances, the solubility properties of the components in the acetate urea triethanolamine water ternary system were studied by observational polythermal method at a wide range of concentration and a temperature range from -43°C to 18°C. The solubility diagram of the studied system was constructed and the crystallization areas of all substances acetateurea, triethanolamine, ice and the new compound C3H8O3N2·N(C2H4OH)3 acetate ureatriethanolammonium were separated. The composition of the new substance C3H8O3N2·N(C2H4OH)3 was determined using the chemical analysis method. In order to determine optimal conditions for the synthesis of C3H8O3N2·N(C2H4OH)3 acetate ureatriethanolammonium, which has a new physiologically active property, the rheological properties of the solution were studied by adding triethanolamine to 60, 70 and 80 % acetateurea. A "composition-property" diagram was constructed based on the rheological properties of the studied system, the pH indicator, the density and viscosity of the solution, and the refractive index. The optimal conditions for the synthesis of the new substance C3H8O3N2·N(C2H4OH)3 acetate ureatriethanolammonium, obtained by the ratio of components, were determined by adding triethanolamine to a 60 % acetate urea solution. Despite ongoing efforts to convince users of the value of password security and to enforce password creation standards on them, in many information systems the human factor still plays a role. In addition, not only do most users' password creation and management practices largely remain unchanged, but password cracking tools and more critically, computer hardware also continue to advance. In this paper we present a model in ethical hacking; the proposed model concentrated on brute force attacks for password cracking. The main novelty of our work is that it first presents a mathematical model that calculates the number of different password permutations of varying lengths. Then the brute force attack is modelled using the Markov chain model and a method is developed to formulate the conventional optimization problem, which is classified as a discrete nonlinear problem. At Keio University Hospital (KUH), clinical staff were concerned that the demand for PCR testing might exceed the capacity of the Clinical Laboratory. In response, basic researchers at Keio University School of Medicine (KUSM) set out to build a new, collaborative, PCR testing system. To be authorized to perform such diagnostic PCR testing, KUSM registered its core laboratory as an external clinical laboratory (ECL).Methods: In the pandemic, there was a pressure to build the PCR system quickly. Speed required discussions that developed a shared understanding of the unprecedented, new KUH/KUSM PCR system. To design, construct, and archive the new PCR testing system, we used a systems engineering (SE) approach. This included diagram visualization of functional flows and application of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), both of which are often used in system building. We considered daily demand for PCR testing at KUH and KUSM, and daily COVID-19 infections in Japan.Results: We operated the collaborative PCR testing system from August 2020 to June 2022. Given public health insurance reimbursement policies, KUH focused on individuals with suspicious symptoms, while the ECL at KUSM screened samples from asymptomatic individuals. KUSM performed about half as many tests as KUH. Interviewing KUH staff revealed that diagrams helped promote a better understanding of the KUH/KUSM PCR testing system.Conclusion: When designing temporary systems that may be repurposed in the future, we suggest using an SE approach with diagrams and UAF perspectives. This approach will enable stakeholders to understand what is being proposed to be built, and facilitate achieving an informed consensus on the proposed system. We suggest that SE approaches should be widely used in projects that involve building and operating complex, collaborative systems, and documenting the process. The article presents the author's view on the organization of extracurricular educational work at the university. The authors believe that the main purpose of this type of activity is the personal and professional development of students, which is achieved through the creation of conditions for their active life, civic self-determination, creative development, professional formation and individual personal self-realization. The important role in the systematization and organization of extracurricular educational work of such methodological documents as Educational work schedules and Work programs of education according to educational programs is noted. The article presents a functional model of the organization of educational work on the example of the Volgograd Institute of Management – a branch of the RANEPA. The IDEF0 notation was used to build the model. As a result of the development of the "As is" model, factors were identified that were not previously taken into account, but have an impact on the process of implementing extracurricular educational work.

Different approaches analyze the strength of a natural language argument in different ways. This paper contrasts the dialectical, structural, probabilistic (or Bayesian), computational, and empirical approaches by exemplarily applying them to a single argumentative text (Epicureans on Squandering Life; Aikin & Talisse, 2019). Rather than pitching these approaches against one another, our main goal is to show the room for fruitful interaction. Our focus is on a dialectical analysis of the squandering argument as an argumentative response that voids an interlocutor’s right to assertion. This analysis addresses the pragmatic dimensions of arguing and implies an argument structure that is consistent with empirical evidence of perceived argument strength. Results show that the squandering argument can be evaluated as a (non-fallacious) ad hominem argument, which however is not necessarily stronger than possible arguments attacking it.

Background: Prostate and colorectum cancers rank among the most common cancers, and incontinence is a significant postsurgical issue affecting the physical and psychological well-being of cancer survivors. Social media, particularly YouTube, has emerged as a vital source of health information. While YouTube offers valuable content, users must exercise caution due to potential misinformation. Objective: This study aims to assess the quality of publicly available YouTube videos related to incontinence after pelvic cancer surgery. Methods: A search on YouTube related to "Incontinence after cancer surgery" was performed, and 108 videos were analyzed. Multiple quality assessment tools (DISCERN, GQS, JAMA, PEMAT, and MQ-VET) and statistical analyses (descriptive statistics and intercorrelation tests) were used to evaluate the characteristics and popularity, educational value, quality, and reliability of these videos, relying on novel graphical representation techniques such as Sankey and Chord diagrams. Results: Strong positive correlations were found among quality rating scales, emphasizing agreement. The performed graphical analysis reinforced the reliability and validity of quality assessments. Conclusions: This study found strong correlations among five quality scales, suggesting their effectiveness in assessing health information quality. The evaluation of YouTube videos consistently revealed "high" quality content. Considering the source is mandatory when assessing quality, healthcare and academic institutions are reliable sources. Caution is advised with ad-containing videos. Future research should focus on policy improvements and tools to aid patients in finding high-quality health content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

10. Seeing no net loss: Making nature offset-able.

Policies for biodiversity no net loss and net gain underwrite narratives for green growth through advancing reparative logics to ongoing habitat impacts. By enabling offsetting practices that risk accommodating rather than averting land change developments, net principles are said to resemble modes of 'accumulation by environmental restoration'. Biodiversity net principles are frequently depicted visually as a diagram of the mitigation hierarchy for communicational ease and have proliferated over recent decades despite little evidence for their ecological effectiveness. This paper combines economic sociology, visual media analysis of the net diagram and political ecology to account for the stabilisation of net principles in policy frameworks. It highlights the upstream imaginative work that this visual tool and its wider assemblages perform to support offsetting and habitat banking practices on the ground. The paper positions the NNL diagram as a conceptual and ideational technology. It traces the practices through which biodiversity is rationalised by the Cartesian coordinates of an XY schematic, and en-framed as a measure of numerical value on a vertical scale. The effect is to engender coherence to the idea of netting out differences in aggregate sums of biodiversity unit value, making nature conceptually offset-able. I develop this account through a history of the diagram as well as the broader processes that have shaped the policy and its arrival in English planning frameworks. Observers increasingly question how biodiversity offsetting and no net loss/ net gain have become so popular when their empirical foundations are so weak. This paper proposes that within the wider assemblages of actors, one answer is located in the potency and mobility of conceptual technologies such as diagrams of no net loss or net gain of biodiversity and the logic of balance-sheet accounting that is imbricated within the visual design. 11. Solubilities of Components in the Сa(ClO3)2∙NH4Сl–H2O System.

The Сa(ClO
3 )2 ∙NH4 Сl–H2 O system has been studied in its constituent binary systems and seven inner sections, and its polythermal solubility diagram has been plotted in the range of temperatures from–42.5 to 87.5°С. The solubility diagram features the crystallization fields of ice; calcium chlorate hexahydrate, tetrahydrate, and dihydrate; and ammonium chloride. Three ternary points exist in the system. The system belongs to the complex eutonic type; its components retain their individuality and show good solubility in water. In the [40% Сa(ClO3 )2 + 60% H2 O]–[NH4 Сl] section of the studied system, variations in crystallization temperature, viscosity, density, pH, and refractive indices of the solution have been determined. The thus-obtained results have been used to plot the composition–property diagram of the [40% Сa(ClO3 )2 + 60% H2 O]–[NH4 Сl] section of the Сa(ClO3 )2 ∙NH4 Сl–H2 O system. 13. Mathematical model of the phase composition diagram of the Fe – S - Cu system

The article presents the results of constructing a diagram of the phase composition of the Fe-S-Cu system and its mathematical model. Using the equations obtained in the work, a computer program was created and, using it, an analysis of phase formation in copper ores of various deposits was carried out. It was found that copper ore concentrates from the Berezovsk deposit in Kazakhstan contain Cu5FeS4 (20,22 %), CuS (14,21 %) and FeS2 (65,57 %), and copper ores from the Zyryanovsk deposit contain CuFeS2 (4,03 %), Cu5FeS4 (45,29 %) and FeS2 (50,68 %). Such data allows you to choose the optimal methods for further processing of concentrates, and the mathematical approach itself is more productive than the often used geometric one according to the rule of segments.

Abstract This article aims to shed light on a conception and representation often overlooked in architectural discipline historiography. It focuses not only on forms and objects but also on forces and bodies. For this purpose, a fragmentary genealogy of conflicts between schools, traditions, and architects is proposed. This genealogy will reveal how the technical rationality of the drawings at the École Polytechnique de Paris contrasted with the imagery of the École des Beaux-Arts in the eighteenth century. It will also explore how the dogmas of the Enlightenment were challenged by a Masonic architecture, seeking bodies and debauchery, as exemplified by the stories of the Marquis de Sade. Additionally, it will delve into how the abstract modernist diagram led by Le Corbusier was disrupted by the atmospheric energies, membranes, and sensitive bodies conceived by Siegfried Ebeling. Resumen Este artículo busca poner en valor una concepción y representación usualmente ignorada en la historiografía de la disciplina arquitectónica al focalizarse ya no sólo en las formas y en los objetos, sino en las fuerzas y los cuerpos. Para ello, se propone una genealogía fragmentaria de conflictos entre escuelas, tradiciones y arquitectos que revelará cómo en el sigo XVIII la racionalidad técnica de los dibujos de la École Polytechnique de París contrastaba con la imaginería de la École des Beaux-Arts; el modo en que los dogmas de la Ilustración eran desafiados por una arquitectura masónica en busca de cuerpos y libertinaje ejemplificadas por los relatos del Marqués de Sade; o la manera en que el diagrama abstracto modernista liderado por Le Corbusier era perturbado por las energías atmosféricas, membranas y cuerpos sintientes concebidos por Siegfried Ebeling.

15. Kindred Diagrams.

- Abstract
By a diagram we mean a topological space obtained by gluing to a standard circle a finite number of pairwise non-intersecting closed rectangles along their lateral sides, the glued rectangles being pairwise disjoint. Diagrams are not new objects; they have been used in many areas of low-dimensional topology. Our main goal is to develop the theory of diagrams to a level sufficient for application in yet another branch: the theory of tangles. We provide diagrams with simple additional structures: the smoothness of the circles and rectangles that are pairwise consistent with each other, the orientation of the circle, and a point on the circle. We introduce a new equivalence relation (as far as the author knows, not previously encountered in the scientific literature): kindred relation. We define a surjective mapping of the set of classes of kindred diagrams onto the set of classes of diffeomorphic smooth compact connected two-dimensional manifolds with a boundary and note that in the simplest cases this surjection is also a bijection. The application of the constructed theory to the tangle theory requires additional preparation and therefore is not included in this article; the author intends to devote a separate publication to this application. 16. Routine Use of a Standardized Mastectomy Diagram by Surgeons Improves Accuracy and Timeliness of the Final Pathological Report.

Background: Accurate and timely assessment of pathology specimens is critical for patient care and oncologic management. This study aimed to determine whether a standardized mastectomy diagram would facilitate communication among surgeons and pathologists and improve pathologic processing. Methods: A prospective quality improvement study was conducted over a continuous 12-month period. During the first 6 months, usual pathologic processing of mastectomy specimens was performed per standard department protocol. In the second 6 months, a standardized mastectomy diagram was completed at the time of surgery, noting the location and preoperative pathologic diagnosis of all benign and malignant lesions. An analysis of covariance was used to compare the number of breast lesions identified and the number of days between specimen receipt and the date of the final pathology report between each group. Results: Time from specimen receipt to final pathologic report decreased from a mean (± SE) of 8.3 ± 0.7 days in the usual processing group to 6.1 ± 0.6 days with the use of the standardized mastectomy diagram, for a between-group difference of 2.1 days (95% confidence interval [CI] 0.3–4.0; p = 0.02). The number of lesions identified increased from 1.8 ± 0.2 to 2.6 ± 0.2, for a between-group difference of 0.8 (95% CI 0.1–1.5; p = 0.02). Conclusion: A standardized mastectomy diagram completed at the time of surgery improves the quality of pathologic processing. The diagram, which serves as a mastectomy lesion map, assists lesion localization, enhances accuracy, and reduces time to final pathology report. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background; Chlorine-free potassium fertilizers in agricultural chlorophobic crops such as potatoes, grapes, vegetables and citrus fruits, then the use of nitrate, sulfate and other potassium compounds does not lose its importance. In this regard, it is important to produce potassium sulfate based on continuous conversion technology of flotation potassium chloride with sulfate-containing salts and to expand the range of chlorine-free potash products. Purpose. Study of the physico-chemical properties of sulfate salts of the Aral region for the production of potassium sulfate. Methodology. The study of physicochemical systems by the isothermal method, determination of the elemental composition and morphological studies of samples were carried out according to the approved methodology. Originally. The solubility diagram of the system 2Na+, 2К+, Mg2+,//SO4 2-, 2Cl- - Н2О was theoretically analyzed by the isothermal method at temperatures of 25, 50 and 750C. It has been established that the salt deposits of the Aral region mainly consist of sodium or magnesium sulfates and/or their mixtures at certain ratios. Findings. From a theoretical analysis of the system 2К+, 2 Na+, Mg 2+//2 Cl-, SO4 -2-H2O it was established that at 00C the volume fraction of schoenite reaches more than 24%, at 250C the volume fraction of astrakhanite is 15%, and at 750C the share Glaserite reaches more than 30%. Objective To investigate the influencing factors of abnormal pulmonary function in workers exposed to dust in Yinchuan, and to establish and verify a risk prediction model of abnormal pulmonary function. Methods A total of 923 dust workers who underwent occupational health examination in Yinchuan from March to July 2022 were investigated by questionnaire, physical examination, and laboratory examination. The influencing factors of abnormal pulmonary function in dust exposed workers were analyzed by Logistic regression, and the risk prediction model of abnormal pulmonary function was established> The Receiver Operator Characteristic (ROC) curve, calibration curve, and decision analysis curve were used to evaluate the model. Results The results of multivariate Logistic regression showed that no personal protection (OR =7.806, 95%CI: 5,803-11.989), length of service at work (compared with 0 to 5 years, 6 to 10 years: OR =3.025, 95%CI: 1.764-5.18& > 10 years: OR =2.546: 95%CI: L545-4.193), hypertension (OR =3.909: 95%CI: 2.223-6.873), and BMI (3 24.0 kg/m2) (OR=1.553, 95%CI: 1.004-2.401) were independent risk factors of pulmonary dysfunction, while education (college) (OR= 0,503, 95%CI: 0.299-0.847) was the protective factor of pulmonary dysfunction. The area under the ROC curve of the risk prediction line chart was 0.806, and the calibration curve showed good consistency. The results of clinical decision curve showed that the intervention of abnormal lung function had greater benefits when the threshold probability of the line chart model was 10% to 88%. Conclusion The nomogram constructed by Logistic regression visually demonstrates the role of many influencing factors and has good accuracy in predicting the risk of abnormal pulmonary function in workers exposed to dust. We explore the idea that external embodied diagrams, rather than monomodal symbolic-based entities, can provide an accurate description of metacognition in choreographic dance. When marking, dancers use their bodies to represent properties, dynamics, or structures of dance phrases. Marking-for-self occurs when a dancer marks the dance in their own unique manner, potentially allowing for real-time reflection through the manipulation of external signs. These manipulations can be considered diagrammatic semiosis, as diagrams signify shared relational parts analogous to the parts of their objects. Based on Peirce's semiotics, we argue that semiosis is crucial for metacognition. This paper is structured to first review marking and marking-for-self, followed by an overview of metacognition. We then define marking-for-self as a metacognitive phenomenon and introduce Peirce's concept of semiosis and diagrams. Finally, we describe marking as a diagrammatic sign and explain how marking-for-self is an embodied metacognitive process achieved through the manipulation of diagrammatic structures. The solubility of the MgSO
4 –Na2 SО4 –H2 O ternary system was determined in the temperature range from –5.2 to 116.5°C by the visual polythermal method. Based on binary systems and internal incisions of the components of the system under study, its polythermal diagram is constructed. The crystallization fields of ice, Na2 SО4 ·10H2 O, Na2 SО4 , MgSO4 ·12H2 O, MgSO4 ·7H2 O, MgSO4 ·6H2 O, MgSO4 ·H2 O, 3Na2 SО4 ·MgSO4 , Na2 SО4 ·MgSO4 ·2.5H2 O and Na2 SО4 ·MgSO4 ·4H2 O are delimited on the phase diagram of the MgSO4 –Na2 SО4 –H2 O system. 21. Diagrams for Method 12 in the Archimedes Palimpsest.

This paper discusses four diagrams in the Archimedes Palimpsest, a manuscript that provides among other texts the only extant witness to Archimedes' Method. My study of the two diagrams for Method 12 aims to open up discussions about the following two questions. First, I want to question the assumed relationship between diagram and geometric configuration. Rather than a representation-represented relation, I argue that the two diagrams for Method 12 have a stronger independence from the geometric configuration they are related to. Their connection with the theorem rather lies in their role in shaping the way in which the proof is written. Secondly, I want to examine the connection between geometric intuition and figure. Geometric intuition is the recognition of certain properties or relations in a geometric configuration not through deduction and is held to be parallel to, if not dependent on, the empirical observation of a physical figure. Method 12 provides a curious case where an intuitive fact is not only unrepresented, but even hindered by the diagrams, and the proof assumes that the reader has come to realise that fact, which is most easily achieved when the diagrams are ignored. Circulation spaces in hospitals constitute the main focus of their structure, since they facilitate the flow of patients with varying needs, as well as that of the staff and resources, to guarantee the provision of adequate care. The aim of this study is to present the development of a methodology for the graphical analysis of the flows and circulations that take place within a hospital, using the Príncipe de Asturias University Hospital (Alcalá de Henares) as a case study. Through rigorous research, which has examined the complex processes and relationships that exist across the various care units, a multidimensional and original graphical model has been designed that provides an immediate and accessible reading of the hospital at multiple levels, making it an effective tool for improving the wellbeing of all users. As soon as the SARS‐Cov2 disease was recognized by experts to potentially cause a serious pandemic, a three dimensional diagrammatic image of the virus, colored in strong red, conquered public media globally. This study confronts this iconic virus image with a historic image analysis of 33,000 biomedical articles on coronaviruses published between 1968–2020 and interviews with some of their authors. Only a small fraction of scientific virus publications entail images of the complete virus. Red as an alarm color is not used at all by scientists who don't aim for a non‐scientific public. Circulation in this case concerns the movement of iconic images from a scientific context into a general public. On the basis of hps‐studies on scientific diagrams and especially on color use in scientific diagrams to convey specific messages in public, the paper discusses the role of the claim of public corona‐virus diagram as "scientific." It points at relevant differences between most frequent scientific corona‐virus images and the diagrammatic image used in public. Both author‐ and readerships (in science and public) follow contrasting aims and values. Two-dimensional (2D) organic–inorganic hybrid perovskites (OIHPs) have drawn increased attention due to rich physical properties such as ferroelectricity and photovoltaic properties. Nevertheless, it is challenging to discover novel 2D OIHPs within the vast chemical composition space. Herein, a diagrammatic machine learning model was employed to improve this issue. We collected 179 OIHPs with a variety of organic cations and screened out 6 features from 10,622 descriptors. Subsequently, a decision tree model was created to predict the dimensionality of OIHPs, achieving a LOOCV accuracy of 0.94 and a test accuracy of 0.89, respectively. Then, one candidate from a virtual space with 8256 samples was successfully synthesized, which was consistent with the prediction of the model. Finally, three rules were produced by visualization of the tree structure to generally discriminate 2D from non-2D OIHPs. It is believed that the diagrammatic model has reliability in identifying 2D OIHPs and will serve further property studies of OIHPs in the future.

Background. The article presents the results of the implementation of the capabilities of IT technologies in medical practice on the example of the work of the departments of intensive care and intensive care. The authors of the article developed the MedData medical data management system, which implements a graphical representation of the patient's condition in intensive care units based on cognitive graphics methods. Materials and methods. Such methods of cognitive graphics as "heat map," "map-radar", "diagram" with once-time graph formats, sparklines were implemented. This article provides a comparative analysis of cognitive graphics methods. The option of distributing blood parameters into subgroups is justified. Results and conclusions. The authors of the article explained the choice of a visual graphical representation of the patient's condition based on the numerical values of blood parameters reduced into subgroups, which are distributed according to their functional value.

26. Diagrams of disturbance : conceptual diagrams and the production of a personal diagram poetry

This thesis is a pursuit of a personal diagram poetry, with a submission of part creative work, part critical exploration of selected diagram poetry over the past 50 years. I examine my own work and that of pioneering diagram poet Jim Rosenberg as variations of the conceptual diagram, and explore wider examples in the work of contemporary visual poets, arriving at a diagrammatics that creates systems of thought from modalities of materiality, spatiality and iconography. I follow Foucault and Deleuze's pursuit of the diagram as a paradigmatic system, tracing its properties and potentialities in the social field but extract my own version of it, arising from exploration of the philosophical roots of the diagram. I apply DeLanda's realist critique of the diagram, moving it towards the concept of the assemblage and positioning the diagram as an episode of relational interactions that affect surroundings rather than statically record them. Both text and icon as language systems are probed as structures and as signifiers through close application of post-structuralism as the most rigorous interrogation of language's structures. The resulting creative work assumes a position in the gap between the textual and the visual to seek Drucker's 'semantic chords' in a retinal-cognitive collusion of word and image. I merge the visual exteriority of classifications, visual iconography, and associated graphic language, with the interiority of a personal vocabulary, mediated through what I term 'diagrams of disturbance' which seek to destabilise cognition with both the form they take and their challenging subject matter. I use models from the hard sciences to examine the abstract properties of the diagram, while seeking a common ground between word and icon in cognitive linguistics of Lakoff, and seeking underlying structures of diagram poetry in the application of information theory. Arising from the competing elements of word and icon the two halves of the research emerge as both a development of my own diagram poetry and a critical inquiry into diagram poetry as a form.

The solubility of the NaClO
3 –HNO3 ·N(C2 H4 OH)3 –H2 O ternary system has been determined in the temperature range from –48.2 to 70.0°C by the visual polythermal method. Its phase diagram delimits the crystallization fields of ice, sodium chlorate, and triethanolammonium nitrate. The physicochemical and rheological properties of the [45%NaClO3 + 55%H2 O]–HNO3 ·N(C2 H4 OH)3 section have been studied at isothermal temperature (25°C) in accordance with the change in the composition of the solution. Based on the obtained results, a "composition–properties" diagram of the [45%NaClO3 + 55%H2 O]–HNO3 ·N(C2 H4 OH)3 section has been constructed. The research results show that the NaClO3 -HNO3 ·N(C2 H4 OH)3 –H2 O system belongs to the simple eutonic type and no new chemical compounds are formed in it. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

The paper proposes a method for synthesizing an antenna system. The proposed technique makes it possible to find the required amplitude-phase distribution in a relatively short time (seconds). With the help of the proposed technique, it is possible to evaluate the potential capabilities of the antenna during adaptation, taking into account mutual connections. The developed algorithm can synthesize optimal solutions for antenna arrays with the proposed objective function aimed at maintaining the width of the main lobe of the full antenna array after its rarefaction and minimizing the peak level of side lobes. With a symmetrical edge type of rarefaction, it is possible to reach the values of the peak level of the side lobes faster than with other types. When the antenna array is rarefied by more than half, the differences between the used amplitude distributions of the field over the aperture of the full array are minimized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Both dermatopathology and dermatology are highly visual medical specialties. We performed a bibliometric literature survey of the visual arts in reference to either discipline to better understand how medical literature approaches art within the context of the two specialties. Materials and Methods: We performed a bibliometric analysis of publications found via multiple medical search engines and selected keywords meant to capture art‐related publications in dermatopathology and dermatology. Keywords (art, portrait, painting, dermatology, dermatopathology) and keyword combinations were entered into the search engines PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Pubs Hub, and Scopus. Topics of articles, years of publication, countries of origin, and contributing journals were compiled and analyzed. Results: Eighty publications were retrieved between January 1903 and August 2021. The highest number of articles were found in both PubMed and Google Scholar (n = 55), and the top publication year was 2020 (n = 11). Geographically, the United States of America (n = 38) had the greatest number of articles. The dermatology and art keyword combination yielded the most journal articles (n = 36), and the maximum number of publications were retrieved from JAMA Dermatology (n = 14) followed by the American Journal of Dermatopathology (n = 10). Conclusion: Our survey showed an increasing number of publications related to the visual arts and dermatopathology/dermatology during the examined period, and a transition from observational case studies (often relating to art history) to articles examining the incorporation of the visual arts into medical training programs or professional societies. That our relationship with art, both in the museum and in society, is currently undergoing radical transformation; that Art History in particular is destined to be revolutionized by the digital; and that the brand-new Digital Art History is poised to tell us and show us something other than what we have been able to see and know up until now: this can now seem seductively evident. This is then the starting point for the paper, which at the same time aims to return to some preliminary questions : What, on the one hand, is it to see and explain a painting better, and how do we go about it [§1]? How, on the other hand, can research linked to the digitization of images—coming well after the one on languages and texts processing—help us to enhance and sharpen our gaze [§2]? These are the issues addressed here in a frontal and critical manner. The article finds its initial impetus in a certain conception of what experiencing & explaining the picture means, in its fundamental knotting. It is argued that the enterprise of knowledge cannot be cut off from it: hence, by contrast, the gnoseological limits inherent in automatic processing, based on the scanning of large corpora. At the same time, certain key principles of analysis in Art History, Aesthetic theory and Visual Semiotics are reviewed and discussed: motifs (in a critical conception of traditional iconography), diagrams (in close relation to the notion of figurality), and the interweaving of the visual and the verbal (an essential and delicate issue in our relationship to the work of art, which Digital Humanities must by no means sidestep) [§3]. In the light of this assessment, the article proposes a series of original digital devices capable of better tying together, and enhancing, the experience and explanation of the painting [§4]. Drawing on some case studies of Gustave Courbet’s paintings, the aim is to combine the phenomenological demands of a singular encounter with each painting with those of an invention of semiotic value that is fundamentally linked to an active edition & montage of the artworks themselves. In short, we want to show the positive paths to a renewal in which machines could be an essential adjuvant, provided we do not stick to the research directions and to the intervention modalities we have seen celebrated and programmed to date.

In the practice of modern construction, flexible centrally and eccentrically compressed reinforced concrete elements are becoming more common. In this regard, the relevance of studying their work and the mechanism of bearing capacity exhaustion increases. There are two directions in determining the bearing capacity of these elements: calculation for stability and calculation for strength. The loss of stability in a number of cases, obviously, can cause the destruction of not only centrally, but also eccentrically compressed rods with small eccentricities, since under certain conditions they can practically turn out to be close in their work. The stability of these eccentrically compressed rods is calculated by multiple integration. Such a calculation is especially laborious for reinforced concrete elements. This article is devoted to the study of the stability of centrally and eccentrically compressed reinforced concrete rods with small eccentricities, taking into account the creep of concrete. An eccentrically compressed rod with a small eccentricity of length l is replaced by a centrally compressed rod of length l0 so that the bending arrow includes the eccentricity. The numerical values of the rheological coefficients are determined from the boundary values of the reduced stiffness, which varies along the length of the rod. Complicated integration is replaced by the solution of the differential equation of the bent axis of the rod in the form of a sinusoid half-wave.

This practice-based research investigates objectiles as diagrams for movement and emphasises the importance of designing for the ongoing processual and affective encounters between artefacts and bodies rather than addressing them as static givens of a designing process. This thesis follows both processual and speculative lines of thought. Accordingly, it is inherently concerned with the emergence of the new and it aims to enquire into this through its material practice: designing objectiles as diagrams. The material practice embraces a shift from the object to the objectile as material artefacts that are not yet concretised as objects and which are in constant dialogue with the emergence of the new. The aim of following a processual trajectory is to shift the focus from designing within the already given systems to designing speculatively with the unknown, the unexpected and the potential. The concept of the diagram becomes central to the processual and speculative pursuit in design because of its capacity to call forth an emergence of the new. Although the diagram is discussed widely in relation to architecture and painting, it is not examined in depth with regard to designing objects. Therefore, its capacities in this sense are mostly unknown. Thus, designing objectiles as diagrams for movement aims to develop a diagram that is specific to design as a generative and speculative device. In addition, as movement is the primary condition through which the object-body interactions take place, objectiles as diagrams and interactions with objectiles are investigated with respect to emergent movement qualities. These movement qualities are investigated via the dancers' interactions with the objectiles and discussed in conjunction with the speculative approaches to object interactions and use.

- Abstract
The graphic image is a formation of symbolic patterns, to which its mental dimensions have been added, and the mixture of language and imagination increases the aesthetics of the poem, and makes it compatible with the idea of the text. It is an important element of the construction of the poetic poem, and an important tool of the poet to express feelings and ideas; Because it is an artistic creativity that addresses both the senses and the mind, and it is the constant and permanent essence of poetry. For the judgment on the speech that we call poetry depends on the presence or absence of graphic and rhetorical images. The artistic image takes many graphic formations, which we can find abundantly present in the poems of the poet Dargham Al-Barqawi, and among these formations that we will discuss in this research are the simile and the figurative image.
