Nano-sized crystal materials of NiAl2O4 metallic doped catalyst has been productively created by sol-gel combustion manner with the proper proportions of glycine supported nickel nitrate, alumnium nitrate and heated under the highest temperature on 900ºC performed into the muffle furnace. The structural, morphological, and spectral properties have been examined by using FT-IR, EDS, and FESEM study exposed to the formation of crystalline NiAl2O4 Nano-particles. This afforded metals catalyst has been employed as a catalyst in the synthesis of different substituted amine derivatives by conventional methods. It was found that the highest yield acquired in the synthesis of the N-substituted formamide derivatives by the application of nickel aluminate nano-catalyst.

Heterocyclic imides greatly involved in the development of organic synthesis. Coloured flavonoids like bis-chalcones are formed by microwave-assisted solvent-free route using phenyl succinimide, glutarimide, and vanillin. To achieve the pyrazole and amino-pyrimidine derivatives by the cyclization of bis-chalcone with hydrazine hydrate and guanidine nitrate via microwave method. Then dimalononitriles were produced by the active methylene group of dinitrile with cyclic imides. Hence the physicochemical properties and antimicrobial actions persisted by moderate to high potencies.

The six-membered cyclic imide derivatives were synthesized by reacting glutaric anhydride with different substituted aromatic amines that underwent acetyl chloride developed the substituted phenylpiperidine-2, 6-diones or phenyl glutarimides. Thereafter the novel malononitrile derivatives were synthesized by the treatment of the different substituted Nphenylpiperidine-2, 6-dione with dicyanomethane to get 2, 2'-(N-phenylpiperidine-2,6-diylidene)dimalononitrile using microwave solvent-free method. All the afforded synthones were characterized screened and examined their antimicrobial activities.

An efficient microwave supported solvent-free synthesis of 3,5-bis-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene-N-phenylpiperidine-2,6-diones described with the subsequent condensation of N-phenyl glutarimides with 4-hydroxy-3methoxy-benzaldehyde in presence neutral alumina. The afforded compounds exhibited good and remarkable antifungal activities. &nbsp

Synthesis of a new series of bis-heterocyclic chalcone derivatives has been reported. The condensation proceeded by the one-pot reaction of N-phenyl succinimides and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy benzaldehyde in the presence of neutral alumina under microwave irradiation. The advantages of this method are high yield, shorter reaction time, and simple workup procedure. Most of the synthesized compounds have shown moderate to significant antimicrobial activity against different microbial strains. &nbsp
