Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının çalışma belleği ve örüntü becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda, araştırmada çalışma belleği ve örüntü becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin, çocukların cinsiyeti, okul öncesi eğitim alma süresi, çocukların yaşları ve ailenin öğrenim durumu değişkenlerine göre değişip değişmediği de araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu bağımsız anaokulu ve anasınıflarına devam eden 60-80 ay aralığında 121 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Çocukların çalışma belleği ve çalışma belleği alt boyutlarını ölçmek için Ergül, Özgür Yılmaz ve Demir (2018) tarafından geliştirilen “Çalışma Belleği Ölçeği” ve çocukların örüntü becerilerini ölçmek amacıyla Güven, Dibek, Bayındır ve Saçkes (2019) tarafından geliştirilen “Okul Öncesi Örüntü Becerileri Testi” kullanılmıştır. Çocukların demogrofik bilgilerini ölçmek amacı ile de araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için istatistiksel paket programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışma belleği ve örüntü becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesinde “Spearmen Korelasyon Kat Sayısı testi, değişkenler arasındaki farkların belirlenmesinde “Mann Whitney U” ve “Kruskal Wallis” testi uygulanmıştır. Gruplar arası karşılaştırmalarda ise Bonferrroni düzeltmeli Mann Whitney U Testi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda çalışma belleği ve çalışma belleği alt boyutları ile örüntü becerileri arasında orta düzeyde pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Çocukların çalışma belleği ve örüntü becerilerinin cinsiyet değişkenine göre farklılaşmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çocukların çalışma belleği ve örüntü becerileri, anne ve baba öğrenim durumu değişkenine göre önlisans ve üzeri mezun olanların lehine anlamlı bir şekilde farklılık göstermektedir. Çocukların çalışma belleği okul öncesi eğitim süresine değişkenine göre farklılık göstermezken örüntü becerileri okul öncesi eğitim süresi değişkenine göre 1 yıl üzeri okul öncesi eğitim almış çocuklar lehine anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Çocukların çalışma belleği toplam puanı yaş değişkenine göre 72-80 yaş grubundakilerin lehine anlamlı farklılık gösterirken örüntü becerileri ile yaş değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir. Elde edilen bulgular ilgili literatür çerçevesinde tartışılmıştır., The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between working memory and pattern skills of preschool children. In this context, it was also investigated whether the relationship between working memory and pattern skills changed according to the variables of children's gender, duration of pre-school education, children's ages, and family's educational status. The study group of the research consists of 121 children between 60-80 months who attend independent kindergartens and kindergartens. "Working Memory Scale" developed by Ergül, Özgür Yılmaz, and Demir (2018) to measure children's working memory and working memory sub-dimensions, and "Preschool Pattern Skills Test" developed by Güven, Dibek, Bayındır, and Saçkes (2019) to measure children's pattern skills " used. In order to measure the demographic information of the children, the "Personal Information Form" developed by the researcher was used. Statistical package program was used for data analysis. The Spearmen Correlation Coefficient test was used to determine the relationship between working memory and pattern skills, and the "Mann Whitney U" and "Kruskal Wallis" tests were used to determine the differences between the variables. For comparisons between groups, Mann Whitney U Test with Bonferrroni correction was used. As a result of the analysis, a moderately positive relationship was found between working memory and sub-dimensions of working memory and pattern skills. It was concluded that the working memory and pattern skills of the children did not differ according to the gender variable. Children's working memory and pattern skills differ significantly in favor of those who have an associate degree or higher, according to the variable of mother and father education status. While children's working memory does not differ according to the variable of duration of pre-school education, their pattern skills show a significant difference in favor of children who have received pre-school education for more than 1 year according to the variable of duration of preschool education. While the total working memory score of the children showed a significant difference in favor of the 72-80 age group according to the age variable, there was no significant difference between the pattern skills and the age variable. The findings were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature.

In this study, a simple, low-cost and eco-friendly analytical method namely syringe assisted pipette tip dispersive solid phase extraction (SA-PT-DSPE) combined with slotted quartz tube-flame atomic absorption spectrometry (SQT-FAAS) system was presented for the determination of copper at trace levels in linden tea and tap water samples. Under the optimal experimental conditions, limit of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) values obtained for the SA-PT-DSPE-SQT-FAAS system were calculated as 3.7 and 12.5 mu g/L, respectively. The SA-PT-DSPE-SQT-FAAS system provided a 44.0-folds improvement in detection power of the conventional FAAS. The recovery results for tap water samples were calculated close to 100 % via external calibration strategy. Negative matrix effects on the analyte were observed for linden tea samples. Therefore, recovery studies were performed by matrix matching calibration strategy and percentage recoveries were found to be between 88.0-102.0 % with low standard deviation values.

DEMİR, Cansu Umut. Tuhfe-i Şerîfî (Review-Text-Context Index). Master's Thesis, Ankara, 2019. Religious and Sufi thought has a very important place in Turkish literature. For this reason, many works with moral and educational side are in the forefront. Some of these works are written in verse and some in prose. The Tajwid books, which have a very important place among the religious works, also attracted great attention and many works related to this field were written. Tuhfe-i Şerîfî, which is the subject of our study and written by Mehmed Şerîfi as a verse, is one of these works. The author explained exemplification rules in his work. Our study consists of the introduction and the following four chapters. In the introductory part of our study, information is given about the science of Tajwid and its historical development. In the first chapter, the author 's life, literary personality and works are mentioned. In the second part, the text is examined. In the third section, the translation of the text is given and a general evaluation of the work is made by mentioning the similarities and differences between the text of the same work of the poet and the subject of our study. In the fourth chapter, the contextual index of the work has been passed and brief information about the contextual index has been given. Dini ve Tasavvufi düşüncenin Türk Edebiyatı’nda oldukça önemli bir yeri vardır. Bu nedenle ahlaki ve eğitici yanı ön planda olan birçok eser kaleme alınmıştır. Bu eserlerden bazıları manzum bazıları ise mensur bir şekilde yazılmıştır. Dini eserler içerisinde oldukça önemli bir yere sahip olan tecvid kitapları da yoğun ilgi görmüş ve bu alanla ilgili birçok eser kaleme alınmıştır. Çalışmamıza konu olan ve Mehmed Şerîfî tarafından manzum olarak yazılmış Tuhfe-i Şerîfî’de bu eserlerden bir tanesidir. Yazar eserinde tecvid kurallarını örneklendirerek açıklamıştır. Çalışmamız giriş ve onu takip eden dört bölümden oluşmuştur. Çalışmamızın giriş bölümünde tecvid ilmi ve tarihsel gelişimi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde müellifin hayatı, edebi şahsiyeti ve eserlerine değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde metnin incelenmesine geçilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise metnin çevirisi verilerek, 2014 yılında Sadettin Eğri tarafından çalışılan, şairin aynı eserinin daha küçük bir versiyonu ile çalışmamamıza konu olan metin arasındaki benzerlikler ile farklılıklara değinilerek, eserin genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde eserin bağlamlı dizinine geçilmiş ve bağlamlı dizin hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiştir. Kaynakçadan sonra ise tıpkıbasım başlığı atılarak orijinal metin verilmiştir

Sanat ve mekan, büyük sosyokültürel değişimlerin etkisinde dönüşen sosyal pratiklerin yansıma alanlarındandır. Büyük sosyopolitik evrilmelere sahne olmuş 1960`ları takip eden dönemde sanat, galeri ve müzelerin dışına taşmaya başlayarak kamusallığını artırmış ve mekan ile arasındaki ilişkiyi daha da kuvvetlendirmiştir. Günlük hayata dahil oluşuyla kamusal sanat, kısa süre içerisinde yayılmış ve mekan tasarımının araçlarından biri olmuştur.Kamusallık ve sanat olgularının sosyal dinamiklere bağlı olarak degişen anlam ve imgelemi sebebiyle, kamusal sanat pratikleri de yeni deneyimlenme şekilleri ile dönüşüm geçirmektedir. Kamusal sanat formlarından biri olan muraller de kent mekanlarında sıklıkla görünmektedir. Fakat murallerin algılanışı, bulundukları mekanın fiziksel niteliği ile oldukça koşullanır durumdadır. Bu bağlamda, araştırmanın başlıca amacı kent mekanı ve kamusal sanatın algılanma kapasitesi arasındaki koşullu ilişkileri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu amaca bağlı olarak üretilen tez çalışması, kamusal sanat algısını incelemek adına, yıllık gercekleştirilen İstanbul Mural Festivali kapsamında üretilmiş pek çok murale ev sahipliği yapan Yeldeğirmeni Mahallesi`nin mekansal, görünürlük ve kent manzarası analizlerine odaklanmaktadır. Art and space are considerable reflection areas of social practices which have been transformed with the great social and cultural changes in the world. Following the influential socio-political movements in the 1960s when art went out of galleries and museums, the contact between these two domains got much closer in the way of increased publicness. With its involvement in daily life, public art became widespread within a short period of time and turned out to be one of the aspects of spatial design as well.Because of the meaning and imagination of both the phenomenon of publicness and art transformed due to emerging social dynamics, the practice of public art is being transformed with the new forms of user experience in space. As one of the public art forms, murals commonly appear in urban spaces in recent years. However, the perceived quality of murals is highly conditioned by the physical quality of the space. In this context, the main purpose of the research is to reveal the conditional relationship between the urban space and the performative capacity of public art. In accordance with this purpose; this study focused on spatial, visibility and townscape analysis of Yeldeğirmeni Neighborhood which hosts many murals that were produced within the context of the annual Istanbul Mural Festival for examining the perception of public art in urban space. 175

Nowadays, the use of Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in clinical therapies have an increased acceleration, while it constitutes two sides of yin-yang with its ameliorating effects in regenerative medicine and promoting effects in carcinogenesis. It has been shown that the treatment activities of MSCs are mediated by paracrine factors secreted. These paracrine factors are transmitting via exosomes secreted from MSCs. With the understanding of this mechanism, cell-free therapies have begun to create a new path in MSC based therapies. At this point, two sides of the yin-yang have once again become controversial. In addition, there are conflicting study results in the literature. Due to this contradiction, we have designed this study to demonstrate the role of MSCs in the carcinogenesis process and we investigated the proliferation effect of MSC-derived exosomes on cancer cell lines. Two parallel experimental setups were established, as an experimental group, the four-different epithelial cancer cell lines and Wharton's Jelly (WJ)-MSC derived exosomes were directly co-cultured with in 6 different concentrations and simultaneously in the control group cells were cultured respectively. PKH-26 labelling was performed for detection of exosome locations in co-cultures. Each group were evaluated by WST-1 and xCelligence assays for proliferation and confirmed with PCNA staining. The results were analysed with paired t-test and Newman-Keuls comparison. The relative comparison demonstrated a significant increase in the rate of proliferation only in exosome co-cultures with WJ-MSCs and it was supported by PCNA staining. Cancer cell lines in co-cultures have not shown any significant increase neither in proliferation assays nor in PCNA staining. MSCs regulate their secretions according to the microenvironment, they have more dominant regenerative feature rather than triggering cancer proliferation. 31523364

Tez (yüksek lisans) - Anadolu Üniversitesi, Anadolu Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Malzeme Bilimi ve Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı, Kayıt no: 383322, Bu tez çalışmasında bilim dünyasının da yakından takip ettiği açık ve kapalı gözenekli jeopolimer malzemelerin üretimi ve karakterizasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada metakaolen tozu kullanılarak jeopolimerizasyon yöntemiyle seramik köpük üretimi için uygun üretim koşulları araştırılmış ve optimize edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Üretilen köpük malzemelerde >90% oranında homojen dağılımlı; açık ya da kapalı oluşu kullanılan sürfaktan çeşidine göre değişen gözenekler elde edilmiştir. Süreç değişkeni olarak köpürtücü miktarı, sürfaktan çeşidi ve miktarı ve sıcaklık parametreleri seçilmiş, etkileri gözlemlenmiş ve açıklanmıştır. Literatürden derlenen bilgiler ve elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında gözenek oluşum mekanizmaları açıklanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda ise malzemelerin termal davranışları optik dilatometre ve TG/DTA cihazlarıyla gözlemlenmiş ve basma mukavemetleri ölçülmüştür. Üretilen malzemenin 1000°C’ye kadar kullanımının uygun olduğu optik dilatometre yardımıyla saptanmıştır.

Çalışmada; yarım yağlı sütten elde edilen kefirden elma ve limon lifinin prebiyotik olarak kullanımının ürünün fiziksel, kimyasal, mikrobiyolojik ve duyusal özelliklerine olan etkisini belirlemek ve depolama süresince ürünün probiyotik özelliklerini devam ettirip ettiremeyeceğini tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır.Yarım yağlı UHT inek sütlerine elma lifi (%1-%2) ve limon lifi (%1-%2) ilave edilmiştir. Kefir kültürü inokülasyonuyla (% 4) pH 4,7'ye kadar 25 °C' de fermente edilmiştir. Duyusal, mikrobiyolojik, fiziksel analizler ve protein tayini dışında kimyasal analizler depolamanın 1., 10. ve 20. günlerinde analiz edilmiştir.Yarım yağlı kefir üretiminde farklı oranlarda elma ve limon lifi kullanımının sadece asetaldehit miktarlarında ve depolamanın 20.günü kurumadde değerlerinde meydana getirdiği değişiklikler istatistiksel açıdan önemli bulunmuştur. Kefir üretiminde farklı oranlarda kullanılan elma ve limon liflerinin kullanılma oranındaki artışla orantılı olarak tat-aroma değerlerini olumsuz yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Genelde en çok tercih edilen sade kefir olurken en az tercih edilen %2 elma lifi ilaveli kefir olmuştur. Kefirlerin mililitresinde >106 kob/g seviyelerinde probiyotik bakteri olduğu bilinerek ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel literatürlere göre ürünlerin ?Probiyotik? ya da ?Fonksiyonel Gıda? olarak nitelendirilebilmektedir. Sağlık üzerine olumlu etkisi olduğu bilinen kefirin yarım yağlı üretiminde yağ ikame maddeleri kullanılmasının ürünü daha fonksiyonel hale getirdiği tespit edilmiş olup ülkemizde süt endüstrisinin gelişmesinde olumlu katkılar sağlayabileceği düşünülmektedir. This study was conducted in order to determine the effect of prebiotic use of the apple and lemon fibers on the physical, chemical, microbiological and sensorial properties of the product through kephir obtained from semi-skimmed milk and to detect whether the product would maintain its probiotic properties during storage.Apple fiber (1%-2%) and lemon fiber (1%-2%) were added to the semi-skimmed UHT cow milks. They were fermented at 25° C until pH 4,7 through the inoculation of kephir culture. Sensorial, microbiologic and physical analyses and the chemical analyses apart from the protein determination were conducted at the 1st, 10th and 20th days of the storage.The use of different ratios of apple and lemon fibers in the production of semi-skimmed kephir was found statistically significant only in terms of acetaldehyde amounts and the changes in the dry matter values observed at the 20th days of the storage.It was observed that the apple and lemon fibers used in the production of kephir at different ratios effected the taste/aroma values negatively in proportion to the increase in the ratio. In general, while the plain kephir was preferred at the most, the kephir with 2% apple fiber addition was the least preferred one. OBJECTIVE: Myocardial infarction (MI) is one of the most important causes of death. MI-related tissue loss and cardiac remodeling may result in heart failure. Intramyocardial injection of mesenchymal stem cells derived from adipose tissues, in acute MI animal models, has shown promising regenerative capabilities. This study aimed to investigate the myocardial regenerative capacity of epicardial adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) in a rabbit model of MI. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A rabbit model of MI was performed in three groups: A sham- operated group, a control group, and a treatment group. MI was induced by coronary artery ligation via thoracotomy in the first operation. Four weeks after the first operation, intramyocardial injections of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS; control group) or ADSCs (10×106 in 100 μL; treatment group) were performed in the peri-infarct zone. Background: Cerebral Palsy (CP) is the most common motor disability reason of childhood that occurs secondarily to non-progressive damage in the brain whose development is still ongoing. Methods: 6-year-old dystonic-spastic male CP patient received allogenic mesenchymal stem cells treatment four times as 1x10(6)/kg in intrathecal and intravenous administration of Umbilical Cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) ways. Before and after the treatment, the patient was followed-up with FIM (Functional Independent Measurement), GMFCS (Gross Motor Function Classification System 88), Tardieu Scale, TCMS (Trunk Control Measurement Scale), MACS (Manual Ability Classification Scale), CFSS (Communication Function Classification System) for 18 months and received intensive rehabilitation. Results: Improvements were observed especially in functional scales except for the Tardieu Scale, and no adverse effects were detected aside from a slight pain in the back. Conclusion: Wider future case studies on UC-MSCs will enable us to assess the efficacy of UC-MSCs which have positive impacts especially on functional scales. WOS:000433396400015 29699386 Q4

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the proliferation and differentiation potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from palatal adipose tissue (PAT) and lipoaspirated adipose tissue (LAT). Materials and Methods: PATs were obtained from 2 healthy female patients undergoing surgery for gingival recession, and LATs were obtained from 2 healthy female patients undergoing plastic surgery. LAT-and PAT-derived MSCs were confirmed by flow cytometry using MSC-specific surface markers. The multilineage differentiation capacity of the MSCs was analyzed. The expression of immunophenotyping, embryonic, and differentiation markers was compared between both MSC lines. The proliferation of PAT-and LAT-MSCs was evaluated using a real-time cell analyzer, and telomerase activity was determined using an ELISA-based TRAP assay. Stem cells isolated from PAT and LAT were analyzed by real-time PCR and whole genome array analysis. Results: The cells isolated from PAT had MSC characteristics. In addition, PAT-MSCs had significantly higher alkaline phosphatase activity and osteogenic potential than LAT-MSCs. Although the proliferation and telomerase activities of LAT-MSCs were higher than those of PAT-MSCs, the difference was not statistically significant. The level of embryonic stem cell markers (Oct4 and Nanog) was higher in LAT-MSCs than in PAT-MSCs. The whole genome array analysis demonstrated that 255 gene sequences were differentially expressed, with more than a twofold change in expression. Conclusions: This is the first comparative analysis of the isolation and characterization of MSCs from PAT and LAT. PAT is an accessible source of MSCs, which could be used in periodontal and craniofacial tissue engineering. (C) 2017 S. Background: Mesenchymal stemcells (MSCs) may have beneficial effects in reversing intestinal damage resulting fromcirculatory disorders. The hypothesis of this study is thatMSCs increase antioxidant capacity of small bowel tissue following intestinal ischemia reperfusion (I/R) damage. Methods: A total of 100 rats were used for the control group and three experimental groups, as follows: the sham control, local MSC, and systemic MSC groups. Each group consisted of 10 animals on days 1, 4, and 7 of the experiment. Ischemiawas established by clamping the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) for 45min; following this, reperfusion was carried out for 1, 4, and 7 days in all groups. In the local and systemic groups, MSCs were administered intravenously and locally just after the ischemia, and they were investigated after 1, 4, and 7 days. The superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (Gpx) activities, as well as malondialdehyde (MDA) and total protein levels, were measured. Histopathological analysis was performed using light and electron microscopy. The indicators of proliferation from the effects of anti-and pro-inflammatory cytokines were evaluated using immunohistochemistry. Results: MDA was increased (P < 0.05) in the sham control group and decreased (P < 0.05) in the MSC groups. SOD, CAT, and Gpx were decreased in the localMSC group (P < 0.05). The highest level of amelioration was observed on day 7 in the local MSC group via light and electron microscopy. It was found that the MSCs arrived at the damaged intestinal wall in the MSC groups immediately after injection. Pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1 beta(IL1 beta), transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF beta 1), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF alpha), IL6, MIP2, and MPO decreased (P < 0.05), while anti-inflammatory cytokines EP3 and IL1ra increased (p < 0.05) in the local and systemic MSC groups. In addition, proliferation indicators, such as PCNA and KI67, increased (P < 0.05) in the local and systemic MSC groups. Conclusions: Parallel to our hypothesis, MSC increases the antioxidant capacity of small bowel tissue after intestinal I/R damage. The MSCs migrated to the reperfused small intestine by homing and reduced oxidative stress via the effects of SOD, CAT, and Gpx, as well as reducing the MDA level; thus, they could increase antioxidant capacity of intestine and have a therapeutic effect on the damaged tissue. We think that this effectwas achieved via scavenging of oxygen radicals, suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and increasing the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines.
