Engineering high‐performance and low‐cost bifunctional catalysts for H2 (hydrogen evolution reaction [HER]) and O2 (oxygen evolution reaction [OER]) evolution under industrial electrocatalytic conditions remains challenging. Here, for the first time, we use the stronger electronegativity of a rare‐Earth yttrium ion (Y3+) to induce in situ NiCo‐layered double‐hydroxide nanosheets from NiCo foam (NCF) treated by a dielectric barrier discharge plasma NCF (PNCF), and then obtain nitrogen‐doped YNiCo phosphide (N‐YNiCoP/PNCF) after the phosphating process using radiofrequency plasma in nitrogen. The obtained N‐YNiCoP/PNCF has a large specific surface area, rich heterointerfaces, and an optimized electronic structure, inducing high electrocatalytic activity in HER (331 mV vs. 2000 mA cm−2) and OER (464 mV vs. 2000 mA cm−2) reactions in 1 M KOH electrolyte. X‐ray absorption spectroscopy and density functional theory quantum chemistry calculations reveal that the coordination number of CoNi decreased with the incorporation of Y atoms, which induce much shorter bonds of Ni and Co ions and promote long‐term stability of N‐YNiCoP in HER and OER under the simulated industrial conditions. Meanwhile, the CoN‐YP5 heterointerface formed by plasma N‐doping is the active center for overall water splitting. This work expands the applications of rare‐Earth elements in engineering bifunctional electrocatalysts and provides a new avenue for designing high‐performance transition‐metal‐based catalysts in the renewable energy field. More than 6 million small-incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) procedures have been performed worldwide since 2011. Therefore, its long-term safety and efficacy should be investigated. This study aimed to evaluate 10-year refractive outcomes, corneal stability, axial length, and wavefront aberrations in patients who underwent SMILE to correct myopia. Thirty two patients (32 eyes) who underwent SMILE-based myopic correction. Corrected distance visual acuity, uncorrected distance visual acuity, corneal stability, axial length, and wavefront aberrations were evaluated preoperatively and at 1 month and 1, 5, and 10 years postoperatively. At 10 years postoperatively, the safety and efficacy indices for the patients included in this study were 1.19 ± 0.21 and 1.04 ± 0.27, respectively. For 26 (81%) and 30 eyes (94%), correction to within ±0.50 D and ±1.00 D of the target was achieved, respectively. Over the 10-year follow-up duration, a mean −0.32 ± 0.56 D regression was observed (−0.03 ± 0.06 D/year). Relative to baseline, horizontal and vertical comas significantly increased, as did the incidence of higher-order aberrations (all P < 0.001), whereas axial length and corneal elevation remained stable during follow-up. These results indicate that the SMILE-based correction for myopia of up to -10 Dioptres is safe, effective, and stable, with relatively constant wavefront aberrations and corneal stability over time after treatment. The presence of protein aggregates in numerous human diseases underscores the significance of detecting these aggregates to comprehend disease mechanisms and develop novel therapeutic approaches for combating these disorders. Despite the development of various biosensors and fluorescent probes that selectively target amyloid fibers or amorphous aggregates, there is still a lack of tools capable of simultaneously detecting both types of aggregates. Herein, we demonstrate the quantitative discernment of amorphous aggregates by QM‐FN‐SO3, an aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) probe initially designed for detecting amyloid fibers. This probe easily penetrates the membranes of the widely‐used prokaryotic model organism Escherichia coli, enabling the visualization of both amorphous aggregates and amyloid fibers through near‐infrared fluorescence. Notably, the probe exhibits sensitivity in distinguishing the varying aggregation propensities of proteins, regardless of whether they form amorphous aggregates or amyloid fibers in vivo. These properties contribute to the successful application of the QM‐FN‐SO3 probe in the subsequent investigation of the antiaggregation activities of two outer membrane protein (OMP) chaperones, both in vitro and in their physiological environment. Overall, our work introduces a near‐infrared fluorescent chemical probe that can quantitatively detect amyloid fibers and amorphous aggregates with high sensitivity in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, it demonstrates the applicability of the probe in chaperone biology and its potential as a high‐throughput screening tool for protein aggregation inhibitors and folding factors. Orthokeratology (OK) lens is commonly used to control myopia progression of children. Understanding the relationship between relative peripheral refraction (RPR) and the growth rate of axial length (AL) may assist in explaining myopic progression. The aim of this work is to investigate the RPR in myopic children wearing OK lenses, and to evaluate its relationship with the growth rate of AL. RPRs of 31 children wearing OK lenses and 31 children wearing single-vision glasses were measured with multispectral refraction topography (MRT). MRT shows the total RPR (TRPR), RPR in the superior area (RPR-S), RPR in the inferior area (RPR-I), RPR in the temporal area (RPR-T) and RPR in the nasal area (RPR-N), respectively. It also shows RPR in the visual field of 15° (RPR-15), 30° (RPR-30) and 45° (RPR-45), respectively. RPRs in the visual field from 15° to 30°, 30° to 45° and 15° to 45° are recorded as RPR-(30–15), RPR-(45–30) and RPR-(45–15), respectively. According to the growth rate of AL, children wearing OK lenses were further divided into slow and fast growth groups. TRPR, RPR-I, RPR-T, RPR-N, RPR-15, RPR-30, RPR-45, RPR-(30–15), RPR-(45–30), and RPR-(45–15) of children in the OK lens group were significantly smaller than in the control group (all P < 0.05). TRPR, RPR-N, RPR-15, RPR-30, RPR-45, RPR-(30–15), and RPR-(45–15) of the slow growth group were significantly smaller than in the fast growth group (all P < 0.05). The growth rate of AL were positively correlated with TRPR (R = 0.383, P = 0.040), RPR-N (R = 0.395, P = 0.034), RPR-30 (R = 0.408, P = 0.028), RPR-45 (R = 0.377, P = 0.044), RPR-(30–15) (R = 0.390, P = 0.036). Orthotropic anisotropic steel bridge panels are widely used in civil engineering due to their advantages of light deadweight, high ultimate bearing capacity, and wide range of applications. However, their fatigue problem is serious, and the fatigue-resistant design of the steel box girder diaphragm curved cutout is still difficult. In order to effectively predict the fatigue life of this typical fatigue-susceptible detail, a fatigue test of the specimen with curved notched segments of the diaphragm was carried out. ABAQUS 2016 version finite element analysis software was used to establish three kinds of finite element simplified models of the fatigue specimens with curved notches, and the laws of the influence of different notch radii on the fatigue life of the specimens were studied. Through the finite element solution of the three arc notch specimen models with different radii under the tensile load of 50 kN their respective principal stress distributions were obtained. The critical distance theory was introduced to analyze the characteristic stresses in the stress concentration area of the arc notch, and the point method and line method were used to calculate the characteristic stresses. The fatigue life prediction models of three kinds of notched components were established by combining the material fatigue limit and FE-safe life results. The results show that the point method is more conservative than the line method; no matter if the point method or the line method is used, the characteristic stress and the notch radius are inversely proportional to each other, and it is beneficial for the fatigue life of the structure to appropriately increase the notch radius. The fatigue prediction model of steel box girder diaphragms with curved notches based on the critical distance theory is of high accuracy, which is basically consistent with the test results, verifying the feasibility of the critical distance theory in the fatigue life prediction of notched specimens, and providing a reference for the fatigue life assessment of similar steel structures.
