- Abstract
We consider the problem of the realization of -meaning logics functions() by circuits from unreliable elements in full basis consisting of the Webb function. We assume that elements of the circuit pass to fault states independently of each other, and they are exposed to single-type constant faults of type at the outputs. We prove that almost any -meaning logics function can be implemented by an asymptotically optimal in reliability circuit functioning with the unreliability which is asymptotically equal to with . - Abstract
We consider the realization functions of k-valued logics (k > 3) by circuits from unreliable gates in the full basis, consisting of the Webb function. We assume that the basic gates pass into faulty states independently of each other and the faults are such that each of the incorrect values appears at the output of a basis gate with the same probability. Previously we developed methods for the synthesis of reliable circuits for k ∈ {3, 4, 5}. In this paper we show that for k ≥ 6 any function of k-valued logic can be realized by a reliable circuit, we offer two methods of synthesis of reliable circuits, and we make a comparison of upper bounds for unreliability of circuits constructed with help of these methods. The obtained results are valid in the dual (with respect to the permutation generated by the Lukashevich function) basis for the same faults. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

is a fixed target experiment working on the 920 GeV proton beam of the HERA accelerator at the DESY laboratory in Hamburg. During the last data taking period (2002-2003), about 150 million dilepton triggers, 220 million minimum bias events and 35 million hard photon triggers were acquired. These large statistics allow detailed studies on the production of charmonium states in proton-nucleus p-A collisions, which extend for the first time into the negative Feynman-x () region. Measurements of the inclusive , $\Upsilon$ and open charm cross sections are also ongoing. After a brief discussion of the detector and of the data samples, we report on preliminary results obtained on these physics topics.

- Abstract
We consider a problem of the realization of
k -valued logics functions (k ≥ 3) by circuits in two bases: in the Rosser-Turkett basis and in its dual basis. We assume that the basis gates are exposed to faults at outputs: only of type 0 or only of typek − 1, and they pass into faulty states independently of each other. We describe a constructive method for the synthesis of an asymptotically optimal reliable circuit for almost any function ofk -valued logic, we found the upper and lower bounds of circuits unreliability and the class of functions for which the lower bounds are true. - Abstract
We have searched for Theta^+(1540) and Xi^{--}(1862) pentaquark candidates in proton-induced reactions on C, Ti and W targets at mid-rapidity and \sqrt{s} = 41.6 GeV. In 2x10^8 inelastic events we find no evidence for narrow (sigma~5 MeV) signals in the Theta^+ -> pK_s and Xi^{--} -> Xi^-pi^- channels; our 95% CL upper limits (UL) for the inclusive production cross section times branching fraction Bx(dsigma/dy)|_{y~0} are 3.7 and 2.5 microb/N. The UL of the yield ratio of [Theta^+ / Lambda(1520)] < 2.7% is significantly lower than model predictions. Our UL of [BxXi^{--} / Xi(1530)^0] < 4% is at variance with the results that have provided first evidence for the Xi^{--} signal.

Using the HERA-B detector, the b (b) over bar production cross section has been measured in 920 GeV proton collisions on carbon and titanium targets. The b (b) over bar production was tagged via inclusive bottom quark decays into J/psi by exploiting the longitudinal separation of J/psi --> l(+)l(-) decay vertices from the primary proton-nucleus interaction. Both e(+)e(-) and mu(+)mu(-) channels have been reconstructed and the combined analysis yields the cross section sigma(b (b) over bar) = 32(-12)(+14)(stat) (+6)(-7)(sys) nb/nucleon.

Inclusive differential cross sections $d\sigma_{pA}/dx_F$ and $d\sigma_{pA}/dp_t^2$ for the production of \kzeros, \lambdazero, and \antilambda particles are measured at HERA in proton-induced reactions on C, Al, Ti, and W targets. The incident beam energy is 920 GeV, corresponding to $\sqrt {s} = 41.6$ GeV in the proton-nucleon system. The ratios of differential cross sections \rklpa and \rllpa are measured to be $6.2\pm 0.5$ and $0.66\pm 0.07$, respectively, for \xf $\approx-0.06$. No significant dependence upon the target material is observed. Within errors, the slopes of the transverse momentum distributions $d\sigma_{pA}/dp_t^2$ also show no significant dependence upon the target material. The dependence of the extrapolated total cross sections $\sigma_{pA}$ on the atomic mass $A$ of the target material is discussed, and the deduced cross sections per nucleon $\sigma_{pN}$ are compared with results obtained at other energies.

This article presents the results of the study of the ethnic identity as a component of the social identity of the Russian and Armenian school students. The study found that the majority of the teenagers of both nationalities have their ethnic identity formed, while in both samples the positive identity dominates, there is an ethnic indifference also. In comparison with the Armenian teenagers the Russian teenagers are characteristical to have a more positive attitude towards their own ethnic identity and readiness for the interethnic interaction. Among the Armenian teenagers compared to the Russian teenagers, the ethnic identity as a component of the social identity takes the first place, as they have a more pronounced cognitive component of the ethnic identity.
