Low back pain, one of the skeletal and muscular system problems, is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. Chronic low back pain is an important disorder that affects the daily, social, and work-life of individuals. The majority of people experience low back pain at least once in their life. Interventional, medication, rehabilitation, and exercise methods can be used in the treatment of chronic low back pain. In this study, it was investigated which exercise among the exercise models was more effective in the treatment of non-specific chronic low back pain. “Exercise” and “Chronic low back pain” were used as keywords in database searches. As treatment approaches, the effects of Abdominal Hypopressive exercise, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, McKenzie, Gait, Dynamic and Static Stabilization Exercises, Motor Control and Gradual Activity Exercises in patients with low back pain were investigated. It has been determined that all the exercise models investigated reduce non-specific chronic low back pain and positively affect the mental state and quality of life of the patients. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of 6-week futsal training on the speed, agility, and anaerobic power of male children aged 12-14 years old. A total of 20 male students from Ayşe Fitnat Middle School voluntarily participated in this study. Their mean age was 13.50±0.51 years, the mean length was 1.61±0.06 meters, the mean weight was 50.23±8.43 kg, and the mean body-mass index was 19.42±2.74 kg/m2. Ten participants were assigned to participate in futsal training, and the other 10 formed a control group. The research was designed as an experiment that included a pre-test and post-test within the control and experimental groups. The experimental group (Futsal) participated in a 6-week futsal training with 3 days a week and an hour a day of practice. To evaluate both groups' physical and motor capacities, length, weight, body-mass index, 20m-sprint test, agility test, vertical jump test, and anaerobic power tests were applied. Bu çalışmada spor yapan engelli bireyler ile kendi yaş gruplarındaki engelsiz bireylerin bazı motorik özellikler açısından karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya 12 işitme engelli amatör futbolcu ve 16 sedanter olmak üzere toplam 28 erkek gönüllü katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan gönüllülerin yaşları ortalama 26,32±4,07 yıl, boyları ortalama 1,75±0,07 metre ve vücut ağırlıkları ortalama 72,79±12,39 kilogramdır. Karşılaştırma amacıyla seçilen bazı motorik özellikler şunlardır: reaksiyon zamanı, denge, koordinasyon ve sürat. Verilerin normallik sınamaları Shapiro-Wilk testi ile yapılmış dağılımları normal olmadığından gruplara göre verilerin karşılaştırılmasında parametrik olmayan Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada anlamlılık düzeyi p < 0,05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Veriler incelendiğinde reaksiyon zamanı açısından sedanterler ile işitme engelli futbolcular arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuş ve sedanterlerin daha iyi değerlere sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Problem statement: The children and adolescent period is critical time to acquire positive lifestyle habits. The aim of this study is to investigate the physical activity level of children aged between 9-10 accordance with their BMI’s and socio-economic level of their school environments. This study also reviewed the articles about physical activity level of children, its relation to their socio-economic status and some other related tasks. Inactive life style sustained together with bad eating habits brings many healthy problems such as obesity and cardiovascular disease Approach: Technological development brings with it improving life style causing sedentary life for the public in developed and also developing Country. Physical activity can be viewed as a form of healthy life because it predicts functioning and adaptation and offers capabilities that enable people to live healthy. In this purposed three different socio-economic levels of six schools were determined accordance with declaration of National Education Department in Beykoz province. Each couple of school reflected one’s Socio-Economic Status (SES). Totally 250 students from three different SES were participated (low-SES, n = 92; middle-SES, n = 73; high-SES, n = 85). Student’s height and weight were measured and their Body Mass Index (BMI) was determined. BMIs were classified according to Cole’s BMI tables which were underweight, normal, overweight and obese. Children Physical Activity Questionnaire (CPAQ), which is proposed by World Health Organization, was used for assessment of their Physical Activity Level (PAL). Data from the questionnaires was collected in a suitable relational database and analyzed with SPSS statistical package. Logit log linear analysis was applied to understand the trend of qualitative variables (SES, BMIs and PALs). SPORCULARDA EREKTOR SPİNAE KAS YORGUNLUĞUNUN İŞLEVSEL YAKIN KIZILALTI SPEKTROSKOPİ VE YÜZEYSEL ELEKTROMİYOGRAFİ İLE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ ÖZETKassal yorgunluk, kas kasılması yoluyla belirli bir gücün üretilmesinde ya da sürdürülmesinde ortaya çıkan yetersizlik olarak tanımlanır. Yorgunluk, sporcularda performansı etkileyen önemli etmenlerden birisidir. Bu nedenle de bu araştırmada “Sporcularda erektor spinae kas yorgunluğunun işlevsel yakın kızılaltı spektroskopi ve yüzeysel elektromiyografi ile değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Araştırmaya 22 sporcu (kürekçi=11, voleybolcu=11) ve 8 sedanter erkek gönüllü katıldı. Bireylerin erektor spinae kas yorgunluğunu değerlendirmek için modifiye Biering-Sorensen kassal dayanıklılık (BSKD) testi 10 dakika arayla iki kez uygulandı. İşlevsel yakın kızılaltı spektroskopi ve yüzeysel elektromiyogafi probları erektor spinae kasının L3 spinoz çıkıntısından merkeze 2.5 cm uzaklığa ve erektror spinae’nın her iki tarafına gelecek şekilde yan yana yerleştirildi. Ölçümler eşzamanlı alındı. Verilerin analizinde 3 yönlü karma varyans analizi (gruplar arası ve grup içi desen) kullanıldı. BSKD test süresi iki gruba göre de anlamlı şekilde en uzun olan grup kürekçilerdi (ort=274 sn). KOKK, OMF ve OCF yüzdelik değişim miktarları açısından gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmadı. 1. ölçümde KOKK eğiminde (%/sn) düşüş gözlenirken 2.ölçümde artış gözlendi. Buna karşın OMF ve OCF eğimleri (%/sn) test boyunca doğrusal şekilde düşüş gösterdi. İşlevsel yakın kızılaltı spektroskopi sinyalinden elde edilen düğüm noktasına en geç ulaşan voleybolcular oldu. Aynı zamanda eğim1 açısından voleybolcular sedanterler göre daha düşük eğime sahipti. BSKD test süresince en büyük erim değerlerinin sedanter grupta olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuç olarak sporcuların yorgunluk değerlendirilmesinde YEMG ve İYKAS güvenilir ve kullanışlı bilgiler sağlamaktadır. Because of this, assessment of erector spinae muscle fatigue in athletes using Near Infrared Spectroscopy and Surface Electromyography" has been aimed in this research.22 athletes (11 rowers and 11 volleyball players) and 8 sedentary male voluntary people participated in the study. Two modified Biering-Sorenson muscle endurance (BSME) tests were applied with 10 minutes interval to evaluate the erector spinae muscle fatigue of people. Probe of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy and electrodes of Surface Electromyography were placed next to each other on each side of erector spinae muscle, above 2.5 cm from the L3 center and measurements were simultaneous. 3-way mixed variance analysis (between the groups and within group pattern) was used in the data analysis.BSME test times of rowers were the longest statistically compared to the other two grups (mean 274 s.). There was no significant difference for RMS, MNF and MDF percentage changes between the groups. RMS slope decline was observed in the first test whereas increase was observed in the second test. MNF and MDF slopes (%/s.) were in linear decline throughout the test.Inflection point determined from Near Infrared Spectroscopy signal were the longest for volleyball players. At the same time, volleyball players have lower slope of m1 compared to sedentary people. The highest range values were noticed in the sedentary group during the BSME test.As a result, SEMG and NIRS provide reliable and useful information for assessment of fatigue in athletes. Kas kuvveti çeşitli direnç araçları kullanılarak (örneğin elastik bant' lar gibi) geliştirilebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Thera- Band'larla yapılan farklı yüklenmelerin bacak kuvveti üzerine etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu çalışmaya B.E.S.Y.O' unda öğrenim gören (yaş ortalaması 21.03Ü.92) 36 sağlıklı erkek öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılmış ve denekler iki deneme (16 tekrar grubu`16 TG`, 8 tekrar `8 TG`) grubu ve kontrol grubu (KG) olmak üzere rasgele yöntemle üç gruba ayrılmıştır. Deneme grupları diz ekstansör kaslarına yönelik (16 TG ve 8 TG) 6 hafta, haftada 3 gün, günde 3 set ve her sette 16/8 tekrar (setler arasında 90 saniyelik dinlenme) olmak üzere kuvvet antrenman programına tabi tutulmuştur. Denekler direnç aracı olarak Thera-Band kullanmıştır. 6 haftalık kuvvet antrenman programı öncesi ve sonrası deneklerin dikey sıçrama performansları, izometrik bacak kuvvetleri ve sprint performansları ölçülmüştür.
