Objectives: Bypassing a patently stented coronary artery has a risk of flow competition, and leaving it ungrafted has a high risk of stent restenosis. This study determines the fate of patently stented coronary arteries bypassed and left ungrafted. Materials and Methods: Patients undergoing isolated coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) with previous percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were retrospectively scanned between January 1, 2015, and January 1, 2020. Patients undergoing surgery with a patently stented coronary artery were identified. Postoperative coronary angiography was performed in 52 of these patients. Results: There were 24 patients whose patently stented coronary artery was bypassed and 28 whose patently stented coronary artery was not bypassed. The median follow-up time was 49 months in the non-bypass group and 53.5 months in the bypass group. Twenty (71.4%) patently stented coronary arteries remained open in the non-bypass group, and 23 (95.8%) vessels were open in the bypass group (p=0.02). The estimated open rate of vessels was 56% in the non-bypass group and 95% in the bypass group at five years (log-rank p=0.01). Major adverse cardiac events were developed in 12 (42.8%) patients in the non-bypass group and 6 (25%) patients in the bypass group. Conclusion: Patients with an open stented vessel that was not bypassed during CABG have a risk of in-stent restenosis and major adverse cardiac events during the mid-and long-term periods. It may not be safe to leave patently stented coronary arteries ungrafted, particularly those with bare metal stents.

Intussusception is the most common cause of intestinal obstruction between 6 months and 36 months of age. There is no defined etiology in at least 75-90% of patients. Recurrent intussusception occurs in 5-16% of all intussusceptions and the treatment strategy is controversial in this patient group. The treatment of continued recurrent intussusception is a challenging problem when no lead point is revealed despite recurrence.We aimed to review our 10 years of experience in recurrent intussusception and describe a new operative technique for recurrent intussusception cases without any lead points.We, retrospectively, reviewed the data of patients with recurrent intussusception in our referral pediatric surgery clinic between 2007 and 2017. Ultrasound-guided hydrostatic reduction (UGHR) was performed on all patients. Surgery was performed on those patients who had findings of acute abdomen and complete intestinal obstruction or two failed attempts of UGHR for diagnostic purposes if a pathologic lead point was suspected based on patient findings and age. Laparoscopy or laparotomy was performed according to surgeon preference and experience. A total of 87 UGHRs were performed. Thirty-three patients were admitted to our clinic due to recurrent intussusception. The mean age was 12.75±14.14 (6-84) months, and 19 were male and 14 were female. Abdominal pain, agitation, and vomiting were common symptoms. UGHR was performed on all 33 patients on at least two different occasions. The time between the first and second UGHR treatments was 42.6±186.19 (0-899) days. The success rate of the second UGHR was 27 out of 33 patients (81.8%). Surgery was performed on six patients. Laparoscopy-assisted ileal folding and fixation to the cecal wall was performed on one patient with recurrent intussusceptions. Appendectomy was performed first, and then, ileal folding with cecal fixation was performed using 4/0 polyglactin sutures. The sutures were placed between the serosal layers of the adjacent terminal ileal loops and the cecal wall.Surgeons should try to find permanent solutions for patients with multiple recurrent intussusceptions that are resistant to treatment. Surgical excision of the lead point will help prevent recurrent intussusception. Satisfactory results can also be obtained by UGHR even in patients with recurrences. Laparoscopy is helpful in diagnosis, detection of lead points, and treatment of irreducible intussusception. This new operative technique can be satisfactory for recurrent intussusceptions without any lead points.

The Black Sea region is one of the regions of Turkey that draws attention with its natural beauties and history. It is extremely important to investigate the tourism potential of Sinop which is shown among the cities that attract attention with its unique structure, originality and historical-cultural beauties in the Black Sea region. Sinop is accepted as the happiest and most livable area of Turkey. The main purpose of the research is to determine the tourism potential of Sinop in terms of tourism. In line with the determined purpose, SWOT analysis was carried out according to the researches made on this subject in the literature and the information on the official website of the Sinop Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. As a result of the SWOT analysis it has been determined that Sinop has a lot of strengths in tourism and has the necessary resources for culture and nature tourism. It has been concluded that the bed capacity of Sinop should be strengthened and the related situation constitutes the weak side of Sinop. Regarding the opportunities, it has been determined that it is suitable for the development of new types of tourism as it is suitable for activities such as photography and sailing. The presence of stronger and more well-known destinations around Sinop seems to be a serious threat for Sinop.

DDestinasyonlarda turistlere sunulan konaklama, yeme-içme, ulaşım, rekreasyon, vb. hizmetlerin yanı sıra destinasyonun sahip olduğu alışveriş olanakları ve bu olanakları sunan görevlilerin tutumlarından turistlerin memnuniyet algıları da son derece önemlidir. Bu çalışmada yerli turistlerin destinasyon alışveriş olanaklarından ve alışveriş noktalarındaki görevlilerin tutumlarından memnuniyet algı düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kapsamda hazırlanan anket formu Temmuz-Eylül 2019 döneminde Göbeklitepe destinasyonunu ziyaret eden 400 yerli turiste yüz yüze iletişim kurularak ulaştırılmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler (386 anket) SPSS programında analize tabi tutulmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucunda; katılımcıların çoğunluğunun destinasyon alışveriş olanaklarından (%71) ve destinasyondaki alışveriş noktalarındaki görevlilerin tutumlarından memnun oldukları (%65) ancak katılımcıların daha az olmakla birlikte önemli bir kısmının ise destinasyon alışveriş olanaklarından (%29) ve destinasyon alışveriş noktalarındaki görevlilerin tutumlarından memnun olmadıkları (%35) belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca katılımcıların destinasyon alışveriş noktalarındaki görevlilerin tutumlarını İçtenlik, Nezaket, İletişim, Turistlerin İhtiyaçları ile İlgilenme ve Hediye Paketleme Becerisi boyutları kapsamında değerlendirdikleri belirlenmiştir.

Çalışmada, Türkiye’nin Avrupa kıtasında bulunan beş ilinden ve Balkanlara açılan sınır kapılarından biri konumundaki Kırklareli ilini ziyaret eden Bulgar turistlerin destinasyon alışveriş tercihlerinin belirlenmesi ve memnuniyet düzeylerinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemi olarak Bulgar turistlerin seçilmesinde destinasyona gelen yabancı turistlerin nerdeyse tamamının bu millete ait olması etkili olmuştur. Bu amaçla ilgili destinasyonu ziyaret eden turistlere kendilerinin cevapladıkları toplam 200 anket formu ulaştırılmıştır. Sosyal bilimler çalışmalarında yaygın bir şekilde kullanılan SPSS veri istatistiki programında yapılan analizler neticesinde; turistlerin %80’inin destinasyondan genel olarak memnun ayrıldığı, destinasyona tekrar ziyaret niyetinin bulunduğu ve destinasyonu başkalarına da tavsiye edeceği belirlenmiştir. Turistlerin alışveriş yerlerinin otantikliği/yerelliği, personellerinin tutumu, fiyat açısından uygunlukları, konumları, sorunlara çözüm üretme/şikâyetleri giderme düzeyleri ve personellerin yabancı dil yeterliği konularında düşük memnuniyete sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Turistlerin alışveriş yapılan yerin ulaşılabilirliği, alışveriş yerinin ürünlerine ve hizmetlerine garanti vermesi ve alışveriş yerinin ürün ve hizmet açısından güvenilirliği konularında memnuniyetleri ise yüksek düzeyde gerçekleşmiştir.

Modern bilgi çağı ve pazarlama anlayışında meydana gelen gelişmeler insanları, hayatın her alanında bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini, akıllı ürünleri, mobil uygulamaları, web sitelerini, sosyal medya, vb. araçları kullanmaya yöneltmektedir. Benzer şekilde turistlerin hızla artan turistik bilgi arayışları ve turizm pazarlarında yaşanan yoğun rekabet, destinasyon pazarlamacılarını, maliyet avantajı sağlamak, güncel ve sürekli bilgi sunulabilmek, geniş kitlelere erişim imkânı sağlamak gibi çeşitli nedenlerden ötürü ilgili araçlardan yararlanmak durumunda bırakmaktadır. Bu araçlardan web siteleri ise sağladıkları avantajlar ile turistlerin ve destinasyon pazarlamacılarının gereksinimlerini karşılamada öne çıkmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada da Türkiye turizminin önemli bileşenlerinden Akdeniz Bölgesi destinasyonlarının (8 il ve 103 ilçe) web sitelerinin belirli kriterler çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi ve mevcut durumun ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Web sitesi bileşenlerini ve özelliklerini betimlemek üzere nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan içerik analiz tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde; Akdeniz Bölgesi destinasyonlarının %91’inin kendilerine ait bir web sitelerinin olmadığı ve bağlı bulundukları valilik, belediye ve il kültür turizm müdürlüklerinde de detaylı bilgilerinin bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir. Web sitesine sahip olan destinasyonların ise web sitelerinin değerlendirildiği bileşenler ve özellikler bağlamında yetersiz oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır., The modern age of information and marketing understanding enable people to use information and communication technologies, smart products, mobile applications, websites, social media, etc. in all areas of life. Similarly, the rapidly increasing touristy information quests of the tourists and the intense competition experienced in the tourism markets promote the destination marketers to use these tools owing to their cost advantage and their ability to provide up-to-date and continuous information and access to large masses. The web sites, one of these tools stand out in meeting the needs of tourists and destination marketers due to their advantages. In the study, it is aimed to evaluate the websites of the Mediterranean Region destinations (8 provinces and 103 districts) within the framework of specific criteria and to reveal the current situation. Content analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, is used to describe the components and features of websites. As a result of the analysis; it is determined that 91% of the Mediterranean Region destinations do not have their own web sites and the governorates, municipalities and provincial cultural tourism directorates to which these destinations are affiliated do not have detailed information about them. On the other hand, it is concluded that the destinations having websites are insufficient in terms of the components and features in which the websites are evaluated.

In theage of modern information, the internet can now be shown among the basic needsof people. People prefer to be able to make their choices and decisions on theinternet and to operate on the internet. Enterprises in the tourism sector arealso trying to reach the consumers on the internet by becoming conscious ofthis change process. The subject of this research is the internet use ofaccommodation enterprises which is one of the basic building blocks of tourismenterprises. In this context, the components and size of the enterprises websiteaimed to examine of accommodation enterprises in Turkey. As a result of theresearch, the data obtained were recorded on the computer and a data set wascreated. The data set has been analyzed in a statistical data program (SPSS17.0) which is widely used in social sciences studies. In the research, thedata obtained about the web sites of the five-star hotel enterprises with thetourism business document are analyzed with the percentage and frequencyvalues. As a result of the analyzes performed, it is seen that most of theaccommodation enterprises with tourism operation certificates operate in theMediterranean (51.8%), Marmara (17.7%) and Aegean (19%) regions and themajority of the accommodation enterprises included in the survey website.According to the findings, although mainly to be incorporated businesses tocontact and location information on the websites of businesses stay in Turkeythe consumer wishes to guest relations and other variables for their demandsand suggestions were determined not enough space given., Modernbilgi çağında, internet artık insanların temel ihtiyaçları arasındagösterilebilmektedir. İnsanlar tüketim tercihlerini ve kararlarını internetüzerinden verebilmekteler ve internet ortamında yer alan işletmeleri tercihetmektedirler. Turizm sektöründeki işletmeler de bu değişim sürecinin bilincinevararak, internet üzerinden tüketicilerine ulaşmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Buaraştırmanın konusunu turizm işletmelerinin temel yapı taşlarından birisi olankonaklama işletmelerinin internet kullanımı oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Türkiye’dekikonaklama işletmelerinin web sitelerinin boyutlarının ve bileşenlerininincelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmasonucunda elde edilen veriler bilgisayara kaydedilerek bir veri setioluşturulmuştur. İlgili veri seti sosyal bilimler çalışmalarında yaygın birbiçimde kullanılan Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS 17.0)istatistikî veri programında analize tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırmada turizmişletme belgesine sahip beş yıldızlı otel işletmelerinin web sitelerine ilişkinelde edilen veriler yüzde ve frekans değerleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilenanalizler neticesinde turizmişletme belgeli konaklama işletmelerinin büyük çoğunluğunun Akdeniz (%51,8),Marmara (%17,7) ve Ege (%19) bölgesinde faaliyet gösterdiği ve araştırmayadâhil edilen konaklama işletmelerinin genelinin (%95,2) kendisine ait bir websitesine sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bulgulara göre, Türkiye’deki konaklamaişletmelerinin web sitelerinde ağırlıklı olarak işletmelerin iletişim ve konumbilgilerine yer verilmesine rağmen, tüketici dileklerine, isteklerine ve önerilerineyönelik misafir ilişkileri ve benzeri değişkenlere yeterince yer verilmediğitespit edilmiştir.
