Hydrological drought refers to the decrease in the amount of water found in surface or groundwater resources and monitoring of this natural disaster is very important due to causing serious problems in drinking and irrigation water supply and hydroelectric energy production. In this study, hydrological drought analysis was made for two streams in Bolu city located in the Western Black Sea Region in the north of Turkey and 3, 6 and 12 month streamflow drought indices were calculated by using the Streamflow Drought Index method. For this aim, the streamflow data of Bolu stream - Beşdeğirmen and Ulusu - Afatlar streamflow monitoring stations were used. According to the results, extreme and severedroughts were determined for two stream flow stations and it is seen that drought periods varied between 1 and 9 years. The most severe and longest droughts were detected for Bolu stream - Beşdeğirmen station. Mild droughts are much higher than moderate, severe and extreme droughts. It has been observed that the severity and number of drought for Bolu stream - Beşdeğirmen station have increased in recent years. In order to reduce the effects of hydrological drought, hydrological drought should be monitored continuously and necessary precautions should be taken regarding the management of water resources. People should be informed about water consumption and so waste should be prevented. Interms of irrigation water, drip irrigation method should be used instead of flood irrigation or sprinkler irrigation methods. For this aim, farmers should be made aware of this issue. Danışmanı olduğum Onur Arslan'a ait yüksek lisans tezidir., Hegemonya, siyaset biliminde devlet iktidarı üzerindeki güç mücadelelerinin ve doğasını açıklamak üzere formüle edilmiş bir kavramdır. Bu çalışma, 12 Eylül Darbesi’nden sonra kurulan askeri hegemonyaya bir karşı çıkış olarak entelektüellerin inisiyatifi ile oluşturulan Aydınlar Dilekçesi’nden hareketle, karşı hegemonya kurma girişimini sorunsallaştırmaktadır. Dönem itibariyle, 12 Eylül rejimine karşı toplumsal muhalefetin sindirildiği bir ortamda, ilk örgütlü itirazın özneleri aydınlar olmuşlardır. Bu öncü grup, darbe yönetimine karşı muhalefet ederek demokratik yönetimin tesisi için mücadele etmiş, ancak Aydınlar Dilekçesi girişimine katılan aydınlar tam anlamıyla karşı bir hegemonya tesis edememiştir. Buna karşın, bu girişim askeri idareye karşı en önemli karşı hegemonik sızıntı olarak Türk siyasal yaşamının önemli olaylarından biri olarak okunmalıdır. Hegemonya-karşı hegemonya sorunsalını 12 Eylül rejimi ve Aydınlar Dilekçesi girişimi üzerinden ele alan bu çalışmanın temel kuramsal çerçevesini Marksist teorisyen Antonio Gramsci’nin hegemonya, karşı hegemonya ve entelektüel kavramlarından mürekkep kavram seti oluşturmaktadır. Bu kavramlar üzerinden “Aydınlar Dilekçesi Girişimi” aydınların bir araya gelmesi, dilekçeyi kaleme alması, yetkili makamlara sunması ve haklarında açılan dava süreçleri temel alınarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışmada hegemonya kavramı hem mevcut iktidarın işleyişinin kavranması hem de entelektüellerin gerçekleştirdiği karşı hegemonik girişimin analiz edilmesini sağlayan merkezi kavram niteliğindedir. Entelektüel ise ele alınan aydınların mevcut iktidar karşındaki muhalif duruşlarının ve aydın olmanın toplumsal gereklerinin çerçevesini çizen kavram olarak ele alınmaktadır. Çalışma, bu sorunsaldan hareketle üç bölümde yapılandırılmıştır. Çalışmanın birinci ve ikinci bölümleri kavramsal- kuramsal çerçeveyi oluşturmakta, üçüncü bölümde ise “Aydınlar Dilekçesi” örnek olayı kuramsal arka plan dikkate alınarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, hegemonya ve karşı hegemonya kavramları ele alınırken Marksist teorisyen Antonio Gramsci’nin yaklaşımı temel alınmaktadır. Gramsci’nin düşüncelerine ek olarak, post-Marksist kuramcılar Ernesto Laclau ve Chantal Mouffe’un çağdaş hegemonya yaklaşımına da yer verilmektedir. Bu kısımda, hegemonyanın ne şekilde tesis edilebileceği ve karşı hegemonyanın hangi yöntemlerle egemen niteliğe kavuşacağı tartışılmaktadır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde entelektüel kavramı ele alınırken, sırasıyla Marksist kuramcılar Vladimir Lenin, Antonio Gramsci, Louis Althusser ve Raymond Williams’ın aydın yaklaşımlarından faydalanılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, öncelikle 12 Eylül Askeri Darbesi ve darbeden sonra hegemonyanın kurumsallaşması süreci göz önünde bulundurularak 12 Eylül rejimi değerlendirilmektedir. İkinci olarak, karşı hegemonik bir olay olarak Aydınlar Dilekçesi girişimi ele alınmakta; bu deneyimin Türk siyasal yaşamındaki önemi ortaya konulmaktadır.

Im Rahmen der Bachelorarbeit wurde ein Prozess für die Herstellung von SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein konzipiert. Die Arbeit wurde als Gruppenarbeit abgehalten. Der Prozess beinhaltet jeden notwendigen Herstellungsschritt, um das Spike Protein unter Einhaltung der GMP- und Sicherheit Anforderungen zu produzieren. Diese Arbeit beinhaltet das Thema „Projektkoordination und Dokumentation“. Die Basis eines guten Prozesses ist die Qualitätssicherung. Hierfür wurde ein Codierungssystem entwickelt, um mit dessen Hilfe jede Abteilung, die mit diesem Prozess betraut ist anhand der Codierung direkt zu erkennen. Zusätzlich wurde ein Excelsheet erstellt, mit dessen Hilfe die notwendigen Dokumente leicht zu finden sind und die Versionsänderungen unter Kontrolle gehalten werden können. Außerdem wurden Layouts für alle notwendigen Dokumentenarten erstellt, um die vereinheitliche Darstellung der Dokumente innerhalb der Gruppe zu gewährleisten. Alle Dokumente wurde auf Codierung und Struktur überprüft und die jeweils aktuelle Version im Excelsheet festgehalten. Um alle Geräte und Tätigkeiten zuzuordnen, wurde ein Raumplan erstellt. Dieser beinhaltet die Reinraumklasse, die durch einen Farbcode markiert wurde, Raumnummern, sowie ihre Bezeichnung. Der Produktfluss wurde optisch durch Pfeile dargestellt. Die Projektkoordination wurde mit Hilfe von Online-Treffen und Social Media Plattformen durchgeführt. As part of the bachelor's thesis, a process for the production of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein was designed. The work was conducted as a group effort. The process includes all necessary manufacturing step to produce the spike protein in compliance with GMP and safety requirements. This work includes the topic "project coordination and documentation". The basis of a good process is the quality assurance. For this purpose, a coding system was developed in order to directly identify each department by the coding. Additionally, an excel sheet was created, in which all documents used in the production can be easily found and version changes can be tracked. In addition, layouts were created for all necessary document types to ensure the unified presentation of all the documents within the group. All documents were checked for coding and structure and the current version was recorded in the excel sheet. In order to assign all devices and activities, a room plan was created. This contains the cleanroom class, which was marked by a color code, room numbers, and their designation. The product flow was visualized by arrows. The project coordination was conducted using online meetings and social media platforms.

The assessment of the out-of-plane response of unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings with cavity walls has been a popular topic in regions such as Central and Northern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China and several other countries. Cavity walls are particularly vulnerable as the out-of-plane capacity of each individual leaf is significantly smaller than the one of a solid wall. In the Netherlands, cavity walls are characterized by an inner load-bearing leaf of calcium silicate bricks, and by an outer veneer of clay bricks that has only aesthetic and insulation functions. The two leaves are typically connected by means of metallic ties. This paper utilizes the results of an experimental campaign conducted by the authors to calibrate a hysteretic model that represents the axial cyclic response of cavity wall tie connections. The proposed numerical model uses zero-length elements implemented in OpenSees with the Pinching4 constitutive model to account for the compression-tension cyclic behaviour of the ties. The numerical model is able to capture important aspects of the tie response such as the strength degradation, the unloading stiffness degradation and the pinching behaviour. The numerical modelling approach in this paper can be easily adopted by practitioner engineers who aim to model the wall ties more accurately when assessing the structures against earthquakes.

In this study, changes in crop and irrigation water requirements in Niğde were investigated. Potato, sugar beet and maize are selected for this purpose. These crops are the most grown crops in Niğde and also Niğde provides important portion of potato production of Turkey. Firstly, crop and irrigation water requirements in Niğde were calculated by using CROPWAT based on FAO Penman Monteith method. For this purpose, monthly average temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, sunshine duration and precipitation values of Niğde meteorological station between 1980 and 2017 were used. Then, Mann Kendall Rank Correlation tests were applied. A statistically significant increasing trend at 90% confidence level was determined for crop water requirement of sugar beet. Also, increasing trends were found for both crop and irrigation water requirements. Results of this study refer to climate change and show that the groundwater level in Niğde, where groundwater is used for irrigation, will drop more and more day by day and the sinkhole risk is increasing. Therefore, taking the necessary precautions as soon as possible is extremely important.

Bu çalışmada, zamana bağlı elektrik tüketimindeki değişimi içeren bir veri seti ile derin öğrenme yöntemleri kullanılarak bir günlük elektrik tüketimi tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Zaman serisi bileşenleri ve makine öğrenimi kavramları açıklandıktan sonra, elektrik tüketimi tahmini ile ilgili daha önceki çalışmalar hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Kullanılan veri kümesi bir zaman serisi olduğundan, zaman serisi özellikleri ayrıntılı olarak vurgulanmış ve modellemeye geçmeden önce yeniden örnekleme ve yeniden şekillendirme gibi gerekli işlemler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Modelleme aşamasında kullanılan algoritmaların performansını önemli ölçüde etkileyen hiperparametreler üzerinde çeşitli ayarlamalar yapılarak her yöntem için en uygun parametreler araştırılmıştır. Daha sonra en iyi sonuçları veren modeller birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmış ve en düşük hata oranına sahip yöntem belirlenmiştir. In this study, it is tried to estimate one-day electricity consumption by using deep learning methods with a dataset that includes the change in time-dependent electricity consumption. After explaining the time series components and machine learning concepts, general information about previous studies on electricity consumption estimation is given. Since the dataset used is a time series, all the features are emphasized in detail and necessary operations like resample and reshape are performed before proceeding to the modeling. Tuning was applied to hyperparameters which significantly affect the performance of the algorithms used in the modeling stage and the most suitable parameters were searched for each method. Then the best results were compared with each other and the method with the lowest error rate was determined. 66

Araştırmamızda İmam Hatip Liselerinde görev yapan İHL Meslek Dersleri öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları sorunlar ele alınarak; öğretmenlerimizin ortak sorunlarının neler olduğu ve sorunların eğitime nasıl etki ettiği ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Yaptığımız araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemiyle birlikte veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırmacı görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu tekniğin kullanılmasındaki amaç öğretmenlerin düşüncelerini daha rahat paylaşmalarını sağlamaktır. Çalışma grubu olarak Kastamonu ili seçilmiştir. Kastamonu il merkezi ve ilçelerine gidilerek İmam Hatip Liseleri'nde görev yapan 41 meslek dersi öğretmeni ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırmamızda öğretmenlerin eğitim öğretim alanında en çok öğrenci, veli ile ilgili sorunlar yaşadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Bu problemlerin eğitim sistemi ile doğrudan bağlantılı olduğu görülmüştür. Tüm sorunların sebeplerine indiğimizde bu sorunların çok boyutlu olduğu ve birbirini tetiklediği fark edilmiştir. In this research, the problems encountered by the teachers working in Religious Vocational High Schools were discussed and it has been tried to put forward what the common problems of our teachers are and how these problems affect education.In our study, semi-constructivist interview technique has been used as a data collection tool together with qualitative research method. The purpose of using this technique is to enable teachers to share their thoughts more easily. Kastamonu Province has been chosen as the study group. Kastamonu city centre and its districts have been visited and 41 vocational course teachers working at Religious Vocational High Schools have been interviewed.In our study, it has been established that teachers had the most problems with students and parents in the field of education and training. These problems seem to have been directly related to the education system. When we go down to the causes of all problems, it has been realized that these problems are multi-dimensional and trigger each other. 109

Zeytinyağı üretiminde atık olarak çıkan ve olumsuz çevresel etkileri nedeniyle sorun olan zeytin posasının fermente edilerek ruminantların beslenmesinde ne derece kullanılabileceğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla bu çalışma yürütülmüştür. Deneme 3 baş erkek toklu ile 3x3 Latin kare klasik sindirim denemesi şeklinde yürütülmüştür. Deneme 10 gün alıştırma, 5 gün örnekleme süresi olmak üzere 45 gün sürmüştür. Deneme rasyonları, %75 kaba yem %25 yoğun yemden oluşturulmuş, isonitrojenik ve izokalorik olarak hazırlanmıştır. Kontrol grubu (%0 zeytin küspesi), %5 zeytin küspesi ve %7 zeytin küspesinden oluşan deneme rasyonları hayvanlara verilmiştir. Rasyonlara göre deneme grupları arasında fermente zeytin küspesi kullanımı arttıkça ADF, NDF, kuru madde, organik madde ve ham proteinin sindirilme derecelerinin düştüğü görülmekle birlikte bu farklılıklar önemli bulunmamıştır (P>0.05). Bu çalışmada elde edilen bulgulara dayanarak zeytin küspesinin ruminant rasyonlarında %5-7 düzeyinde kullanımının ham besin madde sindirimi açısından olumsuz etkilerinin olmadığı söylenebilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Zeytin küspesi, besin maddesi, sindirim, ruminant, koyun This study was conducted to determine the extent to which olive cake by fermenting can be used in the nutrition of ruminants, which is a problem in olive oil production due to its negative environmental effects. The experiment was carried out as a 3x3 Latin square classical experimental design with 3 wethers. The study lasted 45 days wtih 10 days of adaptation and 5 days of sampling period. The rations were composed of 75% roughage and 25% concentrate and prepared as isonitrogenic and isocaloric. The rations consisting of control group (0% olive cake), 5% olive cake and 7% olive cake were given to the animals. According to the rations, it was observed that the digestion of ADF, NDF, dry matter, organic matter and crude protein decreased while fermented olive cake percentage increasing among the experimental groups, but these differences were not statistically significant ( P>0.05). Based on the findings obtained in this study, it can be concluded that the use of fermented olive cake in ruminant rations at the level of %5-7 does not have negative effects on the nutrient digestibility.Key Words: Olive cake, nutrient, digestibility, ruminant, sheep 67

In this study, evaporation values of meteorological stationslocated in Konya Closed Basin and basin-wide evaporation values are predictedwith the developed empirical formulas (DEF). The formula is formed by addingthe mean temperature term to Meyer empirical formula (MEF) and the coefficientsare determined by linear regression analysis. For this purpose, 70% of meanmonthly water vapour pressure in air, relative humidity, wind speed,temperature and evaporation values of Cihanbeyli, Niğde, Beyşehir, Aksaray andKaraman meteorological stations located in the basin between 1978 and 2017 wereused for modelling stage and 30% for test stage. The results obtained from theDEFs were compared with the results obtained from MEF via determinationcoefficient. Konya Closed Basin, in where Beyşehir and Salt Lakes are located,is an important ecological area. Evaporation prediction in the basin, wheresevere droughts are experienced, is important for the management of waterresources systems. It was determined that the determination coefficientsobtained from the DEFs were higher than the determination coefficients obtainedfrom MEF at both the training and the test stages. WOS: 000366880400005, Environmental flow is defined as the flow that is necessary to protect and maintain ecosystems and determination of the quantity of environmental flow is important for the management of multi-objective water resources systems with multiple dams. In this study, an optimization model, taken into account different working times of hydropower plants (12, 15 and 18 hours a day), is developed to determine the releases from dams for electricity production and environmental flow. The developed model consists of an objective function that maximizes the releases from dams for electricity production and environ-mental flow and satisfies all operational conditions such as range of water releases, range of dam storages, irrigation releases and also mass conservation between inflows and outflows. A water resources system in the Aksu River Basin including Karacaoren I and II Dams located in the Mediterranean Region, Turkey is selected for application and the model is applied for the year 2010. MINOS, a sol-ver employing the Lagrangian algorithm and the reduced gradient method in General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS) program, is used for solving the optimization problem. It is determined that the ratio of total electricity production to total firm energy ranges between 77.7% and 90.5% while the ratio of total environmental flow quantity to annual natural flow quantity ranges between 56.1% and 48.9%. These results show that the developed model can be useful for the management of multi-objective water resources systems with multiple dams in series.

Kızılırmak Havzası, Fırat-Dicle Havzası'ndan sonra Türkiye'nin en büyük havzasıdır ve Türkiye'nin en uzun nehrine (Kızılırmak Nehri) sahiptir. Havza batısında Batı Karadeniz ve Sakarya Havzaları, doğusunda Yeşilırmak Havzası, güneybatısında Konya Kapalı Havzası ve güneydoğusunda Seyhan ve Fırat-Dicle Havzaları ile çevrilidir. Kuraklık analizi su kaynaklarının planlanması ve yönetimi açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Kızılırmak Havzası’nda 1973-2013 yılları arasında meydana gelen kuraklıklar standart yağış indisi (SYİ) yöntemi kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Kızılırmak Havzası'nın SYİ değerleri 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 ve 60 aylık periyotlar için hesaplanmıştır ve 60 aylık periyot Kızılırmak Havzası'nın SYİ yöntemine dayalı kuraklık analizinde ilk defa kullanılmıştır. Geçmişteki kuraklıklar ile karşılaştırıldığında havzada meydana gelen son kuraklıkların sürelerinde 12 ve 60 aylık periyotlar için önemli artışlar tespit edilmiştir., Kızılırmak Basin is the largest basin in Turkey after Fırat-Dicle Basin and has the longest river of Turkey (Kızılırmak River). The basin is surrounded by West Karadeniz and Sakarya Basins in the west, Yeşilırmak Basin in the east, Konya Closed Basin in the southwest, and Seyhan and Fırat-Dicle Basins in the southeast. Drought analysis is important for the planning and management of water resources. In this study, droughts occurred in Kızılırmak Basin between the years 1973 and 2013 were investigated by using standardized precipitation index (SPI) method. SPI values of Kızılırmak Basin were calculated for 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 and 60-month time scales and 60-month time scale was used for the first time for drought analysis of Kızılırmak Basin based on SPI. When compared with the droughts in the past, important increases in the durations of the last droughts occurred in the basin were determined for 12 and 60-month time scales.

Bu tez izotropik yarı-sonsuz homojen gövde ile mükemmel şekilde yapıştırılmış olan ortotropik fonksiyonel derecenlendirilmiş malzeme (FDM) kaplamaların temas mekaniği üzerinedir. Kaplama içerisindeki elastik derecelendirme kaplama kalınlığı boyuncadır. Ortotropik katılık sabitlerinin eksene bağlı olarak değişen değerleri üstel fonksiyonlar ile gösterilmiştir. Geliştirilen Analitik metotda; çeşitli yüzey profillerine sahip rijit zımbalar ile derecelendirilmiş ortotropik kaplama yüzeyi arasındaki sürtünmeli temas düzlem-gerinimi varsayımı ile ele alınmıştır. Problemin temelini oluşturan kısmı diferansiyel denklemler ve problemdeki sınır koşulları Fourier dönüşüm teknikleri ile formüle edilmiştir. Daha sonra problem bir tekil integral denklemine dönüştürülmüş ve bu integralin numerik çözümü `expansion-collocation` tekniği ile sağlanmıştır. Hesaplamalı yöntemde ise; çeşitli yüzey profillerine sahip rijit zımbalar ile derecelendirilmiş ortotropik kaplama yüzeyi arasındaki sürtünmeli temas, sonlu elemanlar metodu ile modellenmiştir. Sözü geçen sonlu elemanlar analizinde; derecelendirilmiş kaplama-homojen gövde sistemi sonlu elemanlara bölünerek, her bir sonlu elemanın malzeme özelliği kendi ağırlık merkezinde tanımlanmıştır. Geliştirilen iki yöntemin farklı zımba profilleri için üretilen sonuçları birbirleri ile karşılaştırılarak her iki metodun da doğruluğu ispat edilmiştir. Analytic and computational studies are performed for contact problems of orthotropic functionally graded material (FGM) coatings which are bonded to isotropic homogeneous substrates without any interfacial defects. The orthotropic FGM coatings possess orhotrophic stiffness gradations through the coating thickness direction. The variations of each orthotropic stiffness constants are assumed to behave as exponential functions. In the analytical procedure, the problems of orthotropic graded coatings which are subjected to contact loads by an arbitrarily shaped inelastic stamp are examined under plane strain assumption. After getting the Navier equations of the elasticity problem, Fourier transformation techniques are used to determine the field expressions that satisfy the boundary conditions of the related problem. A deformation gradient on the contact region is used to obtain a singular integral equation (SIE) which is collocated through a discretization procedure on the roots of Chebyshev polynomials. Computational approach for the same contact problem is based on the finite element method in which the coating-substrate systems are divided into finite elements having the material parameters defined at their centroids. The results produced by using the analytical technique and the finite element method are compared to assess the accuracy achieved by both methods. Finally, the complete contact problems on the orthotropic homogeneneous coatings are also investigated. 167

Türkiye, coğrafi konumu itibariyle deprem kuşağında olan bir ülkedir. Depremler, büyük yıkımlara ve can kayıplarına sebep olmaktadır. Bundan dolayı yapılar, depremin etkin karakteristik özellikleri göz önüne alınarak değerlendirilmelidir. Mevcut binaların deprem etkisindeki performansının belirlenmesi, var olan yapı stoğunun, deprem olduğu zaman nasıl davranacağını bilinmesi açısından çok önemlidir. Performansa dayalı değerlendirme, 2007 yılında yürürlüğe giren Deprem Bölgelerinde Yapılacak Binalar Hakkında Yönetmelik'in (DBYBHY) 7. Bölümünde yer verilmiştir.Bu çalışmada, 1975 tarihli Afet Bölgelerinde Yapılacak Yapılar Hakkında Yönetmelik'e (ABYYHY) göre tasarlanmış beş katlı bir betonarme binanın doğrusal elastik olmayan zaman tanım analizi yöntemi kullanılarak performans durumu değerlendirilmiştir. As well as the loss of human lives, destructive earthquakes cause significant amounts of damages to existing structures in Turkey where most of the land area settles on various seismic zones. Therefore, engineering structures need to be evaluated subjected to a maximum probable seismic force that might be encountered during a future earthquake event. Henceforth it is crucial to analyze building inventory for maximum credible earthquakes, in order to minimize damage and injuries.Being enforced in 2007, the latest Turkish Earthquake Design Code (TEDC) introduces a new chapter in which methodologies for evaluating the seismic performances of existing buildings are clearly defined. However, the nonlinear time history analysis procedure is considered herein this study and the procedure is applied to an existing RC building which has frame structural system. The building was designed according to the regulations of the 1975 version of the TEDC. During the dynamic analysis 4 artificial ground motions are employed and structural responses are calculated. The elements of the structural system are evaluated in terms of their internal forces as well as the deformations and later these response values are compared with the code limits for giving a decision about the expected damage level. Since there is a lack of numerical limits to define the damage states by means of interstory drift ratios, ASCE 41-06 values are taken into account.In the first chapter of this study, the main target and the content of the thesis is given, as well as the previous studies on the topic.In the second chapter, definitions on the nonlinear behavior of RC structural elements and systems are briefly given. Furthermore, nonlinear analysis methods concerned with the definition of plastic hinges are described.In the third chapter of the study, after giving a brief summary of the performance evaluation procedure defined in the TEDC, the damage limits; building performance levels and multiple performance objectives are summarized. Much detailed information of the nonlinear time history analysis procedure is provided also in this section. In the fourth chapter, following the introduction of the existing RC condo building's general characteristics, nonlinear dynamic analyses are carried out and finally seismic performance analysis is performed considering the regulations of TEDC.In the last chapter, numerical analysis results are discussed and compared to the linear elastic performance analysis findings. 97

Bu çalışmanın amacı geç Osmanlı İmparatorluğu ve erken Türkiye cumhuriyeti bağlamında vatan-hainliği kavramı ve kendiliğin oluşturulması arasında bir ilişki kurmaktır. Veriler Yunan, Sırp, Türk ve Ermeni devrimcilere/milliyetçilere ait beyanlardan elde edildi. Ayrıca vatan hainlerinin dışlanmasını ve ifşaatını incelemek için ilgili tarihsel olaylar seçildi. Elde edilen sonuçların ışığında, vatan hainliğini devletin hukuksal söylemiyle sınırlamaktan ziyade kendiliğin dönüşümünde bir dispozitif olarak işlediğini savundum. Bu sebeple, ilk olarak, geç Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda vatan, vatan hainliği, vatana ihanet, vatandaşlık ve vatanseverlik kavramları arasındaki kompleks ilişkiye odaklandım. Bu kavramların nasıl mahşeri (kıyametsel) bir mahiyet kazandığına cevap aradım. İkincil olarak, vatan hainliğinin hükümranla yapılan toplumsal sözleşmenin ihlalinin bir yaptırımı olarak mı, yoksa belirli bir kollektif kimlik tarafından dayatılan norm ve değerlere kayıtsızlığın bir sonucu olarak mı ortaya çıktığını araştırdım. Son olarak, hainin benliğine yönelik metafiziksel sorgulamayı tartışarak, vatan hainlerinin ifşaatının-dışlanmasının ifşa edenin özbenliğini nasıl şekillendirdiğini göstermeye çalıştım.Anahtar Kelimeler: Vatan, vatan hainliği, vatana ihanet, kendilik, Osmanlıİmparatorluğu The aim of this study is to establish a correlation between the concept of traitorousness-to-homeland and the constitution of the essential self within the context of the late Ottoman Empire and the early republican Turkey. Data for this study were obtained from the statements of Greek, Serbian, Turkish and Armenian revolutionaries/nationalists. Also, relevant historical events were selected to examine the exclusion and revelation of traitors to homeland. In the light of obtained results, I argued that traitorousness to homeland functioned-as-apparatus (dispositif) which transformed the essential self, rather than confining this apparatus to the juridical discourse of state power. For this reason, at first, I focused on the complex relationship between homeland, traitorousness to homeland, high treason, citizenship and patriotism in the late Ottoman Empire, and I tried to find out how these concepts gained an apocalyptic nature in the political relations. Secondarily I investigate whether traitorousness to homeland sprung up as the sanction of violating a social contract with the sovereign, or the result of being indifference to the norms and values which were imposed by a particular collective identity. Lastly, I tried to demonstrate how the revelation-exclusion of traitors to homeland shaped the exposers' essential self by discussing the metaphysical investigation over the self of the traitor.Keywords: Homeland, Traitorousness to homeland, high treason self, OttomanEmpire 102
