Aphorisms are unique literary works known for their memorability, concision, and ambiguity. They have an information structure divided into theme (known information) and rheme (new information), with the "unmarked topical theme" playing a crucial role. This study examines the impact of translation techniques on these unmarked topical themes and their influence on translation quality, focusing on an unexplored area in Arabic discourse. The research design is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected from the aphoristic text of Al-Hikam in Arabic (L1) and its translations into Indonesian (L2a) and Javanese (L2b). The research problems addressed are: (1) What translation techniques do translators employ when dealing with the "unmarked topical theme" in Al-Hikam's aphoristic text? Do translators favor the source language or the target language? (2) How can the translation of unmarked topical themes in Al-Hikam's aphorisms be assessed in terms of accuracy, readability, and acceptability?. The study finds that translation techniques, including conventional equivalent, compensation, modulation, and reduction, significantly impact the translation quality of unmarked topical themes. The conventional equivalent technique is particularly effective in maintaining the position of the unmarked topical theme from the source language to the target language. This research contributes to developing an Arabic translation model based on Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) analysis. It also provides a comparative analysis of the distinctive discourse topic development elements in Arabic, Indonesian, and Javanese texts, highlighting the implications of various translation techniques on the quality of aphoristic translations.

This study elaborated on the explanation of theosophical Sufism in the book of al-Hikam by two well-known Islamic academics, Kyai Sholeh Darat (Indonesia) and Shaykh ‘Abdullah Gangohi (India). The data in this study are the text of Syarah al-Hikam, written by Kyai Sholeh Darat and the text of Syarah Al-Hikam in the perspective of Shaykh ‘Abdullah Gangohi. This qualitative research study used a Systemic Functional Linguistic (SFL) approach from M.A.K. Halliday. Data analysis in this research applied the Spradley model, namely: (1) domain analysis, (2) taxonomy analysis, (3) componential analysis and (4) analysis of cultural themes. The domain analysis tried to map the information structure in the explanation of al-Hikam based on the theory of SFL. This information structure is the basis for the genre analysis as a semiotic representation of social society. Meanwhile, the taxonomic analysis tried to elaborate on the Sufism thoughts of both the thinkers based on the Syarah al-Hikam text. Componential analysis synergised the results of the information structure and the theosophical Sufism thought in al-Hikam. Finally, the analysis of cultural themes endeavoured to elaborate on the theosophical Sufism thoughts of the two Sufism thinkers and to draw the relationships and the contributions to the universal Sufism. The conditions of theosophical Sufism can be elaborated based on the information structure. The limitation of this study is the lack of researcher’s efforts to investigate the substance of theosophical Sufism, because this research is only limited to the outer layer of language. Contribution: This article shows that the thought of theosophical Sufism showed that Islam in Southeast Asia is Islam that carries the spirit of Islam Rahmatan lil-alamin. In addition, the thought of theosophical Sufism in Syarah al-Hikam has had an impact on the socio-cultural transformation, especially on the Sufism movement [thariqah] spread across Indonesia and India.

This study examines the translation techniques used in the Arabic, Indonesian, and English languages. One of the studies in textual equivalence involves the translation of the information structure of Themes (starting point of speech) and Rheme (new information). Mapping the structure of the Themes and Rheme in the source language text (SL) will assist the translator in determining the flow of information and identifying the type of genre in both the source and the target text. Thus, the research problems can be stated as follows: (1) what the form of information structure is in Al-Hikam aphorisms, and (2) how to apply translation techniques in Al-Hikam aphorisms. The results show that Arabic-to-Indonesian and Arabic-to-English aphorism translations employ a variety of translation techniques. There are 1,169 different translation techniques utilised in Al-Hikam aphorisms (Arabic to Indonesian). Meanwhile, the number of translation techniques in Al-Hikam aphorisms (Arabic – English) amount to 962. On the other hand, the dominance of established equivalent techniques in Arabic – Indonesian and Arabic – English translations indicates that there are many terms or expressions that have been recognised in the dictionary or are commonly used to achieve equivalence from the source language to the target language, thereby increasing the readability of aphorism. The results of macro level data analysis indicate that translation of Al-Hikam’s aphorisms in Arabic - Indonesian and Arabic - English tends to be oriented towards the target language and adopts the ideology of domestication.

This study investigates the impact of liquidity, profitability, and leverage ratios on financial distress in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. It posits that higher liquidity in a company correlates with reduced financial distress. The research encompasses eight mining companies observed from 2016 to 2020. Purposive sampling was employed to select a sample of eight companies meeting specific criteria. The study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis as its analytical approach. The findings, significant at the 5% level, reveal that liquidity, profitability, and leverage ratios collectively exert a substantial influence on financial distress, accounting for 85.3% of the variance in the dependent variable. Specifically, the study concludes that: 1) Liquidity has a significant negative effect on financial distress, 2) Profitability also demonstrates a significant negative impact on financial distress, and 3) Leverage exhibits a significant positive effect on financial distress.

Keterbatasan teknologi dan sumber daya manusia menjadi hambatan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan di pondok pesantren. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk agar guru di pesantren Asadiyah Penkendekan memiliki kemampuan mengembangkan dan menggunakan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis lingkungan. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru agama di pondok pesantren As’adiyah pengkendekan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu mengunakan metode pelatihan partisipatif. Penilaian peserta terhadap media yang ditampilkan menggunakan skala 1-4. Penilaian tersebut dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptive sederhana. Proses pengolahan data untuk indeks penilaian (skala 1-4) dilakukan dengan telaah rata-rata, dan diolah dengan tingkat persentase. Guru di pondok pesantren Asadiyah Penkendekan telah mampu mengembangkan dan menggunakan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis lingkungan.

The aim of this study is to test and analyze the long-term and short-term effects of crude oil prices and inflation on algae export in Indonesia. The effects were tested using multiple cointegration regression and error correction models. Furthermore, annual time series data from 2012 to 2021 was used in this study and the results of the analysis show that in the long term, crude oil price and inflation have a positive effect on algae export. While in the short term, only crude oil price positively influences its exportation.

Anti-corruption education in Islamic religious colleges aims to provide students with sufficient knowledge about the ins and outs of corruption and its eradication and instill anti-corruption values. This descriptive qualitative research with the literature study method examines various reference books, state regulations, and journals relevant to the research topic. This study captures and describes the concepts and models of anti-corruption education management in religious colleges. The student anti-corruption movement is expected to appear at the front as a driving force. Students are supported by their basic competencies: intelligence, critical thinking skills, and the courage to state the truth. This study found that there are three models of anti-corruption education at PTKI (religious universities) in Indonesia, namely 1) integrated anti-corruption education in courses, 2) integrated anti-corruption education in student activities, and 3) cultural habituation and anti-corruption character in the academic community.

This research was focused on taboo words used in Deli Javananese dialect. It was aimed at describing the classification of taboo words used in Deli Javanese dialect namely sex; death; excretion; bodily functions; religious matters; and politics and to investigate how frequent the taboo words were used by Javanese community in Karang Sari village of Medan city, North Sumatera. The descriptive qualitative method was applied by describing taboo words used by the Javanese communtiy. The approach is sociolinguistics, which studies the perspectives of using taboo words among society in Deli Javanese dialect. The data were collected by interviewing three informants with different ages, and taking a note to identify the data of this research. The result showed that there were 18 taboo words found in Deli Javanese dialect and they were classified into six types of taboo word as mentioned before. It also showed that the causes of using taboo words were to express the emotion, such as anger, happiness, and surprises, to talk about sex, to joke and to insult. Hopefully all the findings may give some contributions and references for any further researches related to the use of taboo words within any language and also as communication guidance especially for speakers not to use taboo words.

Kegiatan pelatihan moderasi beragama didasari oleh masih kurangnya pemahaman moderasi beragama guru yang mengajar di pondok pesantren khususnya di pondok pesantren dato sulaeman palopo. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut di buat kegiatan pelatihan dalam bentuk pelatihan partisipatif untuk guru di pondok pesantren dato sulaeman. Materi yang di berikan tentang konsep dasar moderasi beragama dan nilai-moderasi yang dikonstruksikan dalam pembelajaran di pesantren. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di kace bisang kota palopo dengan jumlah peserta 20 orang. Dari hasil kegiatan di peroleh data guru pondok pesantran dato sulaeman tentang memahami nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dengan baik dan guru pondok pesanten dato sulaeman telah mampu memasukkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam proses pembelajarannya.

The objectives of this paper are to identify the conflicts revolving around the main characters in The Notebook, to describe and to explain how the main characters are able to deal with the conflicts in The Notebook. Conflict as a concept can explain many aspects of social life such as social disagreement, conflict of interests and fight between individuals, groups or organization. Conflict in literature refers to the different drives of the characters or forces involved. Conflict may be internal or external. This paper uses descriptive qualitative and library research methods as the topic deals with social matter, that is conflict, in a novel. Social matter is in the realm of descriptive qualitative approach so this method deserves to be applied. The results show that there are four kinds of conflicts: man against man, man against society, man against nature, and man against self and the main cause of the conflicts is love and with love the conflicts are resolved by the main characters.

The ritual offering of “toho dore” is a religious tradition carried out by the ancestors based on animism concept of “ma kakamba” and dynamism concept of “ma kakimbi”, which are still believed and practiced by some Mbojo tribes. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of ritual offerings (toho dore) for the Mbojo tribe community in Bima Regency; and to describe the ritual mystery (toho ra dore) in the Mbojo tribe of Bima Regency. The research approach uses a qualitative approach, ethnographic methods. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentations. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification. Testing the authenticity of the data using time triangulation, data sources and data collection techniques. All of the data are interpreted using Symbolic Interactionalism theory of George Herbert Mead. The findings show that ritual offerings serve people of Mbojo for various purposes: (1) Ritual offerings (toho dore) to obtain offspring, (2) Ritual offerings (toho dore) as a means of obtaining abundant harvests, (3) Ritual offerings (toho dore) to obtain large livestock yields, such as cattle and buffalo, (4) Ritual offerings (toho dore) to get a lot of sustenance when trading, even though the products sold are not as good and as many products as other business partners, (5) Ritual offerings (toho dore) to keep rice in the rice container (tewu bongi), (6) Ritual offerings (toho dore) so that the child in the content is not lost, (7) Ritual offerings (toho dore) to get a mate. Ritual sesajen (toho dore) merupakan suatu perilaku yang dilakukan oleh para nenek moyang atas kepercayaan pada dinamisme (ma kakamba) dan animisme (ma kakimbi) yang masih dipercayai dan dilaksanakan oleh sebagian suku Mbojo yang mempercayai keajaiban ritual-ritual tersebut. Lokasi-lokasi tertentu yang dipercayai oleh masyarakat untuk meletakkan sesajen (toho dore) yang terdiri dari kelapa muda, pisang, nasi ketan (oha mina), daun sirih, pinang dan ayam kampung yang berwarna putih atau hitam semua bulunya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan makna ritual sesajen (toho dore) bagi masyarakat suku Mbojo di Kabupaten Bima; dan untuk mendeskripsikan misteri ritual (toho dore) di suku Mbojo Kabupaten Bima. Teori yang digunakan yakni teori interaksionalisme simbolis George Herbert Mead. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode etnografi. Informan utama sejumlah 11 orang dan informan pendukung 3 orang, teknik sampling yang digunakan yakni snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik interview, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi waktu, sumber data dan teknik pengumpulan data. Temuan hasil penelitian terdiri dari (1) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk mendapatkan keturunan, (2) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) sebagai sarana mendapatkan hasil panen berlimpah, (3) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk mendapatkan hasil ternak yang banyak, seperti sapi dan kerbau, (4) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk mendapatkan rezeki yang banyak saat berdagang padahal produk yang dijual tidak sebagus dan sebanyak produk rekan bisnis lainnya, (5) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk tetap memiliki beras dalam tempat beras (tewu bongi), (6) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) agar anak dalam kandungan tidak hilang, (7) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk mendapatkan jodoh, (8) Ritual sesajen (toho dore) untuk menyembuhkan sakit jiwa.

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana bentuk alih kode dan campur kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena kebahasaan yaitu alih kode dan campur kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan metode teori dan deskriptif. Penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng. Data dalam penelitian ini berwujud pemakaian bahasa oleh penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng, pada saat kegiatan transaksi jual-beli. Untuk itu, digunakan teknik simak bebas dalam percakapan, teknik rekam, dan teknik mencatat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, peristiwa alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi antara penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng, disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya, faktor usia, jenis kelamin, dan etnis. Pertama, hampir semua penjual dan pembeli yang berniaga di pasar Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng merupakan penduduk asli suku Bugis dan Makassar, otomatis mereka menggunakan bahasa Bugis dan Makassar. Kedua, hampir semua penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng menguasai dua atau tiga bahasa, sehingga penguasaan bahasa tersebut ikut mempengaruhi alih kode dan campur kode.

Mastery of English grammar for students in English education departments has a dual purpose, namely to improve their ability to communicate in English fluently and accurately, and to prepare them for becoming English teachers capable of explaining aspects of the English language. Thus, the English grammar course series is expected to equip students with the ability to use the language at the same time as explaining elements of the English language. This investigation aims to improve the learning, learning process, and the results of English grammar courses by integrating the deductive method and holistic assessment approach. This consists of assessment for learning (AfL), assessment as learning (AaL), and assessment of learning (AoL). The study was conducted among 72 fourth-semester students in the English education department at the University of Mataram. Data were collected using various techniques such as tests, observations, portfolios, and documentation, and were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. From the analysis it was concluded that (1) the materials of EG were designed to fulfil the teaching and learning process by integrating the deductive method and the holistic assessment approach, with the proportion of AfL and AaL higher than that of AoL; (2) the integration produced a significant improvement in the TOEFL test (SWE section), with an increase of 63.24 points – from an average 388.84 on the pre-test to 452.01 on the post-test; (3) students responded positively to both the model used and the implementation of the deductive method and holistic assessment. The practical implication of this research is that those teaching grammar in English education need to consider applying holistic assessment in both design and implementation.

The tradition of drinking coffee, as a cultural heritage of Indonesia, has existed for generations in the city of Medan, the capital of the province of North Sumatra and Sumatra is also a coffee-producing region in Indonesia, so it is not surprising to see the rise of coffee shop business with the current name of coffee café in Medan. Drinking coffee at the café is not just a necessity, it has become a lifestyle and is not limited to age, profession or social status; all the people gather and unite in this place and produce a togetherness. By means of Anthropolinguistic approach, the one referring to the study of humans and cultures related to linguistic functions and all the dynamics inherent in human activities, the research, aimed at revealing local wisdom in coffee cafes in the city of Medan, and based on the notion of cultural heritage preservation, is conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, revealing a series of community activities related to coffee café in Medan, supported by validity data in the form of interviews and questionnaires, with the key instruments, respondents, who truly understand the phenomenon of the tradition of drinking coffee. The results show that local wisdom is found in the coffee café in Medan, with a percentage of 96, having three points of discussion: Social Interaction Establishment through Polite Language (88%), Cultural Heritage Preservation (96%) and Economic Growth Improvement (92%).

What approach is applied in teaching English in single-sex education (SSE) and Islamic boarding schools in particular? Some studies report that the language proficiency of Islamic Boarding School students remains unimproved. Although it is apparent that SSE makes teachers apply instructional strategies more readily and effectively than in mixed-sex groupings, the suitability of approaches or methods applied by English language teachers in Islamic Boarding Schools remains unanswered. The order of the male’s factors affecting listening difficulties: Speaker, Content, and Listener (Potential for Men’s Islamic Boarding Schools), and female; Listener, Speaker, and Content (Potential for Women’s Islamic Boarding Schools) (Potential for Women’s Islamic Boarding School), and mixedsexes or co-education (Speaker, Listener, and Content) (Potential for Public Schools) potentially answers the phenomenon. Pedagogically, the orders of sex-based factors affecting listening difficulties are potentially applied as an innovative approach to the pragmatics of pedagogy in SSE, particularly in Islamic religious schools in which socio-cultural and religious content are the priority. Lack of direct communicative interactions with different sexes and limited exposure to the real situation of language use might lead to difficulty in pragmatic understanding. A preliminary prospective solution is available. The santri or santriwati need not visit hotels or tourist objects to improve their auditory pragmatic understanding. As another alternative, the students may read “Pragmatics-based Listening for the TOEFL: Innovation in Independent Learning.” English teachers are suggested to try to apply a gender-based listening approach in English language teaching. Finally, a moral message, “Do not let Islamic boarding schools think alone!”.

The research is conducted based on the novel The Count of Monte Cristo, written by a French writer Alexander Dumas. The focus goes to anguish experienced by the protagonist of the novel, Edmond Dante, a young and handsome sailor with a brilliant prospects in career making him plunged into life of anguish. He is arrested for no reason, sent to jail with inhuman treatment. Descriptive qualitative method is applied to reveal that literary works are mirrors of all the occurrences in society. This is in line with the sociology of literature also implemented here as the approach to further analysis of the subject matters having three aspects to be used as a literary research guidelines: social contexts of the author, already showed by the author, literature as the reflection of society, revealed through the text tending to social reality and functions of literature as entertainer or remodel of society, exposed through the responses of the readers. The results show that the novel contains anguish subdivided into Non-procedural Arrest and Inhuman Imprisonment covering the whole study.

The main problem discussed in this study is the use of language in advertising media as a form of using Indonesian in public spaces. Through promotion through advertising, a product can be known by the public and this is the purpose of an advertised product. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of spoken or written words from people or observed behavior. The described aspect is the result of an analysis of the use of vulgar language and the meaning contained in each advertisement. Based on an analysis of several advertised products, both on electronic media (television) and on social media, it is evident that erotic word choices are used in advertising media. Abstrak Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah pemakaian bahasa di media iklan sebagai salah satu bentuk pemakaian bahasa Indonesia di ruang publik. Melalui promosi lewat iklan, sebuah produk dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat dan inilah yang menjadi tujuan sebuah produk diiklankan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yakni penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata lisan atau tertulis dari orang atau prilaku yang diamati. Aspek yang dideskripsikan adalah hasil analisis pemakaian bahasa vulgar dan makna yang terkandung dalam setiap iklan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap beberapa produk yang diiklankan, baik di media elektronek (televisi) maupun di media sosial terbukti bahwa pilihan kata yang bersifat erotis digunakan dalam media iklan.

The study addresses honorific greeting delivered by Bima community using Donggo dialect to greet others. Specifically, the honorific address is used to greet elders using specific names that the local culturally indicates high respocet and honor. This study used qualitative approach and rooted on the sociolinguistics as the foundation of the understanding of the socio-cultural perspectives. The site of the study was Mbawa village, Donggo ditrict, Bima Regency. A number of local community consisting of 50 adult men and 50 adult women were observed as the informants of the study. Data were collected using direct observation and interview. Results show that Bima community perceive greeting is socially embedded in the culture to raise honor to others, elders, mates and the younger. The culture system in the Bima tradition is using modified self-naming to put respect and honor. The system of honorific address socially expresses politeness and religious values that root from the Islamic teaching. As the address system embeds cultural values that in sociolinguistic refers to politeness this study adversely contributes teaching language for secondary school students, implying that self-naming to express honorific address is contributable to school curriculum.

This study aims to analyze the physical and chemical properties of soil from paddy fields, garden lands and city area also determine the soil inhibitory test of dog saliva bacteria. The results showed that these three soil types have different physical chemical properties and have different inhibitory zones against dog saliva bacteria. The physical chemistry of soil from paddy fields, garden lands and city area (0 cm) are as follows: for color; dark chocolate; grayish brown; and blackish ash, for texture: clay; clay; and sandy clay, for moisture content: 7.14; 6.53; 2.13. for pH close to neutral around 6.52-7.03; Total N is low (0.08-0.23); organic C compounds are classified as moderate; nutrient content of Ca/Mg is classified as moderate (9.55 /1.70 - 14.89/2.22); cation exchange capacity is classified as high (25.32-29.03) in paddy fields and gardens and compounds. The inhibitory zone of the highest dog saliva bacteria is in garden soil (3.7 cm), then paddy soil (2.86 cm) and land in the city area (1.6 cm).

The research deals with the problems of poverty with the aim of revealing the situation of rural people experiencing various shortages throughout their daily needs. This poem is also a personal picture of the poet seeing by firsthand the situation of the marginalized people. Through critical discourse analysis by means of Van Dijk model consisting of three dimensions, namely text, social cognition and social context, the picture of the poor in the poem can be seen clearly. The data used are lines of Stanza No. 13 as a representation of the whole poem. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research indicate that knowledge or education is not limited to one group, but for all; but in practice the poor do not always get the opportunity to obtain proper education. The voice of the poor is not heard; therefore, they are bound by circumstances and cannot do much. In connection with critical discourse analysis, at the level of text, the general theme is the death and fate of the people on the periphery of the society. In the data related, the theme is the absence of opportunities for the poor to get education; the storyline starts from the causes and consequences of poverty and in the microstructure level there are syntactic and lexicon elements. The level of social cognition describes the close relationship between the poet and the elegy and of social conditions pictures the historical background of the text production.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji ragam metode Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meraih prestasi belajar karena kehadiran pendidikan untuk mengembangkan potensi manusia, mengubah dan mengembangkan potensinya kearah yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustakan (libarary research), yaitu kegiatan penelitian dengan menelaah buku referensi dan jurnal-jurnal yang relefan dengan topik pembahasan. Penelitian ini memotret ragam metode dalam pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meraih prestasi belajar. Penelitian menguraikan secara deskriptif konsep metode dan prestasi PAI, landasan implementasi metode PAI, ragam metode PAI, dan kontribusi metode PAI dalam meraih prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian adalah Metode pembelajaran PAI sangat diperlukan agar dalam proses pembelajaran memudahkan siswa dalam menyimak dan memahami materi pelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Berbagai landasan dalam mengimplementasikan metode PAI, yaitu; landasan agama, landasan biologis, landasan psikologis, landasan sosiologis. Ragam metode dalam meraih prestasi belajar yaitu; metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, metode diskusi, metode pemberian tugas, metode demonstrasi, metode eksperimen, metode amsal, metode targhib dan tarhib, metode pengulangan, dan metode keteladanan. Pretasi yang diharapkan dalam pendidikan Agama Islam tidak hanya memperoleh nilai IPK yang tinggi dan ijasah, tetapi sampai sampai pada level mencetak generasi yang produktif dan berkontribusi pada kemajuan peradaban. Pada hakikatnya semua orang mendambakan genarasi yang tidak hanya memiliki kemampuan intelektual, namun juga memiliki akhlak yang mulia yang senantiasa mengedepankan misi kebaikan dan menafikkan semua bentuk kemungkaran

Berdasarkan pengamatan hasil analisis ulangan harian siswa kelas IX2 di SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja kabupaten Barru, semester dua tahun pelajaran 2013-2014. Mata pelajaran Matematika kompetensi dasar bilangan berpangkat dan bentuk akar dengan mengacu kepada kurikulum KTSP 2006, skor ketuntasan adalah 77. Masih terdapat 12 siswa yang mendapatkan nilai kurang dari 77, dari 39% siswa kelas IX.2 berada pada kriteria belum tuntas dari rata-rata ulangan harian adalah 72,6, dengan 31 orang siswa yang hadir tes. Sehingga guru matematika merasa berkewajiban memecahkan masalah melalui wadah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika bilangan berpangkat dan bentuk akar melalui model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) siswa kelas IX.2 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja Kabupaten Barru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan tiga siklus setiap siklus merupakan rangkaian yang saling berkaitan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap kegiatan yang meliputi: Tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX.2 terdiri 31 orang, 15 orang jenis kelamin laki-laki, 16 orang jenis kelamin peremupan. Data kualitatif dikumpul melalui lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan kemampuan guru, sedang data kuantitatif dikumpul melalui tes hasil belajar tiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan Matematika bilangan berpangkat dan bentuk akar, mencapai rata-rata 61,94 siklus 1, mengalami penurunan sebesar 10,67% dari pembelajaran prasiklus. Siklus 2 mencapai rata-rata 66,71, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4,77% dari pembelajaran siklus 1, tetapi kategori tetap yaitu kurang. Siklus 3 mencapai rata-rata 79,39, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,68% dari siklus 2, meningkat kategori kurang menjadi cukup.

This research was a classroom action research including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phase which were implemented in SMA Negeri 4 Parepare which aimed to improve mathematics learning result through the implementation of learning method of smart teaching recollection utilizing students‘ unconsciousness in learning process. Subjects in this study were students class XI IPS1 SMA Negeri 4 Parepare 2016/2017 academic year which amounted to 26 students. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, each of cycle was conducted in 4 meetings and carried out the final test of it.The data were collected by using observation and learning result test. The data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistic. The result of the research showed that the result of mathematics learning of students class XI IPS1 of SMA Negeri 4 Parepare increased from cycle I to cycle II through the implementation of learning method of smart teaching recollection. This could be seen from (a) the learning results in cycle I, the number of students who completed were only 9 students with an average score of 64.31 and in cycle II increased to 23 students with an average score of 78.27. (b) the increasing percentage of students‘ mathematics learning achievement was 34.6% in the first cycle increased to 88.5% in cycle II. (c) the average increase in the learning activities of the students from cycle I to cycle II. From the results of this research could be concluded that there was an improvement of students‘ mathematics learning results of class XI IPS1 at SMA Negeri 4 Parepare by implementing the teaching method of recollection smart teaching.

Masalah perbatasan merupakan masalah krusial nasional karena menyangkut kedaulatan dan keutuhan bangsa. Peran TVRI sebagai gatekeeper informasi di wilayah Perbatasan dalam menjalankan fungsinya diharapkan mampu mendorong upaya pelestarian dan pengembangan nilai-nilai budaya, dan jati diri bangsa serta mampu menjadi media persatu bangsa. Penelitian tentang Peran LPP TVRI Kalimantan Barat sebagai gatekeeper dalam penyebaran informasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran LPP-TVRI Kalimantan Barat sebagai Gatekeeper dalam penyebaran informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, koesioner dan library research. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 59.339 jiwa pada 2 (dua ) lokasi penelitian yaitu kabupaten Sambas dan Entikong. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 400 orang. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil olahan koesioner kemufdian diinput melalui SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 111 (27.9%) yang menonton siaran TVRI dalam seminggu terakhir, sebanyak 287 responden (71,6%) yang tidak menonton siaran TVRI dalam 1 minggu terakhir ini, dengan alasan karena tidak terjangkau siarannya, tidak menarik siarannya, siarannya hilang timbul timbul/tidak bagus siarannya. Peran LPP TVRI Kalimantan Barat sebagai gatekeeper informasi di wilayah perbatasan LPP-TVRI Kalimantan Barat dituntut untuk menyajikan tayangan yang mendidik dan berkualitas. Kontrol Sosial masih dimiliki oleh LPP TVRI Kalimantan Barat. Begitu halnya peran LPP TVRI Kalimantan Barat juga masih memiliki dan menumbuhkan jiwa nasionalisme dalam terpaan media asing yang masuk secara bebas ke daerah perbatasan.

The construction of word in Arabic language had been done by the process of derivation, by looking into this process, the lexicon of Arabic language can be reached and also it can be developed by the period. This research will investigate the construction of Arabic derivative word in the perspective of Kufah Scholar. The data in this research was divided into certain theories and facts of language collected from the primary and secondary references. The primary reference included the main opus work from the Kufah scholars, such as: Al-Farra‟, and also some works from Al-Anbari who had been collected and noted many opinions belong to Kufah scholar during the confrontation with the Basrah scholar. An amount of the research results and some works of contemporary Arabic Grammarians had been become the secondary reference of this research. This research had been concluded that the process of derivation in Arabic word in the Kufah Scholar had many variants of patterns and the high forms. This condition was caused by the data of language which had been recognized wider range of Basrah scholar. The opinion of Kufah Scholar about the root or radical had the strong basis in the development of contemporary of linguistics, especially in the Semitic Language.

A discipline of Arabic is determined by the views of creative scholars and influence significally to the development of the science discipline discussion. This article reviews the theory nazhm Abdulqāhir al-Jurjani and its influence on the development of Ma'ani science. Ma'ani Science is a part of balaghah science (rhetoric) reviewing the structure of the sentence in accordance with the context of the situation. This study has two objectives, namely a practical purpose and theoretical purpose. The practical purpose of this study is to explain the concept of nazhm Abdulqāhir influence on the development of science Ma'ani. While the theoretical goal is to prove a general view of historians that Abdulqāhir is the father of Ma'ani. This study is a qualitative study. The author collected data of Abdulqāhir through the reference of biography Arab scholars, explore ideas either directly or through studies of expert. The systematics of writing this article is divided into three parts, the first is biography of Abdulqāhir, the second is his work Dalā'ilu 'l-I'jaz and the third about nazhm theory.

This article discusses phonetic thoughts of Ibnu Jinni, scientist who became a central figure in the development of Arabic phonetics. His work named Sirru Shinâ‟atil I‟râb is the first phonetic book in Arabic. He also called this science with terminology „Ilmul-Ashwât which is still used by Arabic scientist until now. These features are behind the writing of this article. This article to describe Ibnu Jinni curriculum vitae, the book Sirru Shinâ‟atil-I‟râb, and phonetic thoughts of Ibnu Jinni and his contribution in Arabic phonetic progress The conclusion is that Ibnu Jinni has given big contribution in Arabic phonetic progress. The most important thing is his research about vowel. There are so many vowel studied and be the main reference for the next study.

Abstract: Based on the background, the formulation of the problem is: How is the legality of the act of receiving tax receipts by Land Titles Registrar (PPAT) as a public official and How juridical implications of PPAT who receive tax and income tax of Acquisition of Land and Building Rights (PPHTB) from taxpayers. The method used to examine these issues is normative legal research using a statute approach to examine legislation relating to legal issues under review. Based on the results of the research, the results obtained that the legality of accepting tax receipts by PPAT as public officials actually still does not exist, in other words has not established a definite rule that regulates the act of receiving tax receipts by PPAT. Then about juridical implication to PPAT which accept tax day income tax and BPHTB from taxpayer is even though the act have not have legal legality but its implementation still included in legitimate category because that action depart from habit that have been accepted and accepted by society. As long as there is no rule of law to realize the legality of this act then as long as it is also this habit will continue, although there is no guarantee of legal protection for this act but as long as it does not cause harm to anyone then considered not a problem Abstrak: Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan legalitas perbuatan menerima kuasa menyetor pajak oleh Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah (PPAT) selaku pejabat umum dan implikasi yuridis terhadap PPAT yang menerima penitipan Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) dan Bea Perolehan Hak Atas Tanah dan Bangunan (BPHTB) dari wajib pajak. Metode yang digunakan untuk meneliti permasalahan tersebut adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach) untuk menelaah peraturan perundang – undangan yang terkait dengan isu hukum yang sedang dikaji. Legalitas perbuatan menerima kuasa menyetor pajak oleh PPAT selaku pejabat publik sesungguhnya masih belum ada, dengan kata lain belum dibentuk suatu aturan pasti yang mengatur tentang perbuatan menerima kuasa menyetor pajak oleh PPAT. Kemudian tentang Implikasi yuridis terhadap PPAT yang menerima penitipan pajak PPh dan BPHTB dari wajib pajak adalah meskipun perbuatan tersebut belum memiliki legalitas hukum namun pelaksanaannya masih termasuk dalam kategori sah sebab perbuatan tersebut berangkat dari kebiasaan yang berlaku selama ini dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Other figure with great contribution is Ibn Malik, and he was even said as greatest figure. His monumental works become center of grammatical examination of next ulamas. This article is intended to fill the gap scholarly studies about radical movements in the university environment. This study is a qualitative research with phenomenological approach involving six (6) lecturers of UIN Alauddin Makassar as a research subject. From the interviews, it has been found out that the lecturers had the same view of radicalism in terms of positive and negative. Apparently, radicalism is growing because it begins with less understanding of religious thoughts among students which is triggered by their immature pattern of thinking as well as their great curiosity. Basically, all respondents consider this issue is a serious and often discussed with their students. Universities and lecturers, therefore, are encouraged to direct and guide the students to avoid the development of radical ideologies.

Developing theme in a text of Arabic reading is the basis in a creative writing. By understanding the pattern of theme development in a text, beginner who wants to write in Arabic is easier in arranging the idea. This article is a research to see a great correlation between thematic progression with the creative writing in Arabic. The book taken as sample was al-Qirâ’ah al-Râsyidah which is used in MAN Karang Anyar and MAN 1 Surakarta. Related to the rheme in developing the theme, the students of both school wrote their daily activity by using thematic progression patterns. The result of the study showed that there is a great correlation between thematic progression pattern with the creative writing in Arabic.DOI: 10.15408/a.v2i2.2090

This article was undertaken to investigate the moral ethics learned in the Arabic-Javanese translation text, and how this model of translation can be the main aspect of protecting the indigenous/natural/mother language in Indonesia as a main potential of Asian Cultural Heritage. The data of this research is a Arabic – Javanese translation texts and also some units of language inside the texts. The result of this article shows that there is a connection line between empowering of Arabic Javanese translation and protecting the indigenous language.

Broca’s and Wernicke’s discovery concerning brain language function remains debatable. The research questions: a) Is there a significant difference of accuracy among the rh, the lh, and the rh-lh in inferring auditory sentences? b) Which hemisphere shows the highest accuracy? and c) Do the rh, lh and rh-lh show consistent hemispheric accuracy when inferring sentences and short dialogs? The research results are useful for clarifying controversies against brain language function and as a foundation of ”hemispheric-based listening”. This study employed Behavioral Test with Post-test Only design. Sample involved 120 students. Data were collected through a test and analyzed with Two-way Anova. It is found that the hemispheric accuracy among the rh, lh and rh-lh in inferring auditory sentences is significantly different; the lh shows the highest accuracy in inferring auditory sentences; and the rh, lh and rh-lh show inconsistent hemispheric accuracy when inferring sentences and short dialogs.
