This article from the Arab Journal of Interventional Radiology explores the use of preoperative botulinum toxin injections as a treatment option for complex abdominal wall hernias. The study involved 8 patients with an average age of 53.38 years. The results showed a statistically significant decrease in the size of the hernia defect and loss of domain after the Botox injection. Primary fascial closure was achieved in 87.5% of the individuals, and there were no significant side effects. Breast cancer is considered one of the most common cancers worldwide. The most common sites for breast cancer to metastasize are the lymph nodes, bones, lungs, brain, and liver. Involvement of the gastrointestinal tract is uncommon, and metastasis to the appendix is rare.
