La prima parte del saggio analizza due episodi significativi della più antica ricezione della Commedia in ambito religioso, gli antichi commenti dei cosiddetti Anonimo Lombardo e Anonimo Teologo. L’analisi congiunta dei due apparati notulari si giustifica alla luce della tradizione manoscritta comune (i due testi viaggiano sempre insieme) e di una comune formazione culturale, genericamente religiosa per il Lombardo, specificamente domenicana per il Teologo. Il problema del rapporto tra fictio e verità nella poesia dantesca, così come affrontata dai primi esegeti di estrazione mendicante, Guido da Pisa in particolare, e laica, su tutti Benvenuto da Imola, costituisce l’asse portante della seconda parte del saggio. La première partie du présent article analyse deux épisodes significatifs de la réception la plus ancienne de la Commedia en contexte religieux, les commentaires de ceux que l’on appelle l’Anonyme Lombard et l’Anonyme Theologien. L’analyse conjointe de ces deux commentaires se justifie à la lumière de leur tradition manuscrite commune (les deux textes sont toujours transmis ensemble) et d’une commune formation culturelle, globalement religieuse pour le Lombard, plus spécifiquement dominicaine pour le Théologien. Le problème du rapport entre fictio et vérité dans la poésie de Dante, traité par les premiers exégètes d’origine mendiante, Guido da Pisa en particulier, et laïque, avant tout Benvenuto da Imola, constitue l’enjeu de la seconde partie de l’article. The first part of the present study examines two of the most significant episodes of the most ancient reception of the Commedia in religious environments, the commentaries by the so called Anonymous Lombardus and Anonymous Theologus. The shared manuscript tradition of the texts, which are always transmitted together, and the common cultural education of the two authors (religious, in a wide sense, for the Lombardus, and specifically dominican for the Theologus), justify a combined analysis of these two commentaries. The second part of the essay focuses on the relation between fictio and truth within the dantean poetry. This issue, as tackled by the first exegetes of mendicant extraction, Guido da Pisa in particular, and secular, first of all Benvenuto da Imola, shows two different perspectives in the interpretation of Dante’s Commedia in 14th and 15th centuries.

La présente thèse porte sur les récits allégoriques écrits entre 1453 et 1510, qui constituent les derniers représentants directs de l’importante tradition allégorico-narrative popularisée par le Roman de la Rose. Dans la mesure où ils s’ancrent par rapport à un avant et dans l’absence d’un après, ces textes ont développé une poétique tardive qui leur est propre, fondée sur le respect de l’héritage littéraire plus que sur la rivalité, sur la préservation des procédés d’écriture plus que sur leur rénovation. Se dissociant de la filiation critique inaugurée par Jean de Meun, ils renouent ainsi avec les propositions allégorico-narratives non conflictuelles de Guillaume de Lorris, qu’ils honorent par un certain conservatisme. Si l’étude des dernières manifestations d’un genre nécessite, en plus de s’attarder aux considérations poétiques, de replacer les œuvres tardives dans l’histoire littéraire (pour comprendre leur état de postérité et de finalité), il semble que, dans le cas des derniers récits allégoriques, la poétique des textes soit révélatrice de leur positionnement : au-delà des bouleversements culturels du tournant du xvie siècle, le rapport paisible de ces œuvres à leur filiation paraît en effet avoir peu encouragé le renouvellement de la pratique. This thesis focuses on allegorical narratives written between 1453 and 1510, which are the last direct representatives of the important allegorical-narrative tradition popularized by the Roman de la Rose. Insofar as they are anchored in relation to a before and in the absence of an after, these texts have developed a late poetics of their own, based on respect for the literary heritage rather than on rivalry, on the preservation of writing procedures rather than on their renovation. Dissociating themselves from the critical filiation inaugurated by Jean de Meun, they thus revive the non-confrontational allegorical-narrative proposals of Guillaume de Lorris, whom they honor with a certain conservatism. If the study of the last manifestations of a genre requires, in addition to focusing on poetic considerations, placing late works in literary history (to understand their state of posterity and finality), it seems that, in the case of the last allegorical narratives, the poetics of the texts is revealing of their positioning: beyond the cultural upheavals of the turn of the 16th century, the peaceful relationship of these works to their filiation seems to have encouraged little renewal of the practice.

Le Tournoiement Antecrist est un poème allégorique, composé vers 1235 par un clerc prénommé Huon. Tout en racontant le combat spirituel entre le Bien et le Mal, l’auteur a su créer une œuvre novatrice qui n’exclut ni la culture profane, ni l’humour. Conservé dans un nombre relativement élevé de manuscrits (10 manuscrits complets et 2 fragments), qui attestent de son succès, le poème est considéré comme un des textes fondateurs de l’écriture allégorique en langue française. Malgré son importance culturelle, le Tournoiement demeurait relativement mal connu de nos jours. Jusqu’à présent, il n’existait pas d’édition critique fiable de l’œuvre. Cela explique sans doute en partie pourquoi les études littéraires restaient encore peu nombreuses et relativement peu approfondies. Nos recherches ont tenté de remédier à cette situation en réalisant une nouvelle édition et une étude littéraire approfondie qui permettent de mieux connaître et comprendre l’œuvre et sa place dans l’histoire littéraire. Basée sur l’examen méticuleux de l’ensemble des témoins, l’édition fournit un texte critique, accompagné d’un apparat complet et d'une étude détaillée de la tradition manuscrite, et complétée par des études linguistiques, des notes critiques, un glossaire et des index. Notre étude littéraire analyse la composition et le style du poème, les complexes liens intertextuels qu’il tisse avec d’autres œuvres et les traces de sa réception, dans le but d’éclairer en profondeur une œuvre dont l’intérêt littéraire et l’importance esthétique étaient déjà reconnus, mais pas encore pleinement mesurés. The Tournoiement Antecrist is an allegorical poem, composed around 1235 by a cleric named Huon. Though narrating the age-old battle between Good and Evil, the author succeeded in creating an original work that integrates both lay culture and humour. The poem is conserved in a fairly large number of manuscripts (10 manuscripts and 2 fragments), which attest to its success, and is considered to have played a seminal role in founding the French allegorical tradition. Despite its cultural importance, the Tournoiement had been little studied. To date, there existed no reliable critical edition of the work. This no doubt explains in part why literary studies remained few in number and are often cursory. My research intends to remedy this situation by producing a new edition and a study that shed new light on the work and its place in literary history. Based on an in-depth examination of all extant witnesses, the edition offers a critical text, accompanied by a complete apparatus and a detailed study of the manuscript tradition, as well as linguistic analyses, critical notes, a glossary and an index. The literary study examines the poem’s composition and style, the complex intertextual relationships linking it to other works, and the evidence for its medieval reception, in order to arrive at a better understanding of a work whose intellectual and aesthetic significance was largely recognized, but remained to be fully assessed. Il Tournoiement Antecrist è un poema allegorico composto intorno al 1235 da un chierico di nome Huon. Pur raccontando la battaglia spirituale tra il Bene e il Male, l'autore è riuscito a creare un'opera innovativa che non esclude la cultura laica o l'umorismo. Conservato in un numero relativamente elevato di manoscritti (10 manoscritti completi e 2 frammenti), che ne attestano il successo, il poema è considerato uno dei testi fondanti della scrittura allegorica in lingua francese. Nonostante la sua importanza culturale, il Tournoiement rimane oggi relativamente sconosciuto. Finora non esisteva un'edizione critica affidabile dell'opera. Questo probabilmente spiega in parte perché gli studi letterari erano ancora pochi e relativamente poco sviluppati. La nostra ricerca ha cercato di porre rimedio a questa situazione producendo una nuova edizione e uno studio letterario approfondito che consentirà una migliore conoscenza e comprensione dell'opera e del suo posto nella storia letteraria. Basata su un esame meticoloso di tutti i testimoni, l'edizione fornisce un testo critico, accompagnato da un ampio apparato e da uno studio dettagliato della tradizione manoscritta, e completato da studi linguistici, note critiche, un glossario e indici. Il nostro studio letterario analizza la composizione e lo stile del poema, i complessi legami intertestuali che intesse con altre opere e le tracce della sua ricezione, con l'obiettivo di far luce su un'opera il cui interesse letterario e la cui importanza estetica erano già riconosciuti ma non ancora pienamente misurati.

This essay aims to deepen the theoretical framework as well as the aesthetic phenomenology of Italian research poetry of the 2000s by illustrating three interpretative functions that could shed some light on the proverbial ‘opacity’ intrinsic to this type of writings: installation; dispositif; metacognitive allegory. I will develop a methodological integration between the historical-literary analysis tools and, respectively, those coming from visual studies, philosophical aesthetics and cognitive poetics., Il presente contributo intende approfondire la cornice teorica nonché la fenomenologia estetica della poesia di ricerca italiana del Duemila illustrando tre funzioni interpretative che potrebbero far luce sulla proverbiale ‘opacità’ di tali scritture: l’installazione, il dispositivo, l’allegoria metacognitiva, tutte basate su un’integrazione metodologica fra gli strumenti di analisi storico-letterari e, rispettivamente, quelli provenienti dall’ambito dei visual studies, dell’estetica filosofica e della poetica cognitiva.

Redécouvert depuis deux siècles, Rutebeuf a désormais le statut d’un grand poète du Moyen Âge. Cette réputation a toutefois eu pour effet secondaire de décourager l’effort de relire son œuvre sur nouveaux frais. Sa polygraphie, allant et venant entre fabliau et hagiographie, satire du monde et auto-dérision, a aussi incité tantôt à répartir sa cinquantaine de poèmes en différentes catégories ayant peu à voir entre elles, tantôt à privilégier tel ou tel groupe de textes au détriment du reste. Examinant les acquis scientifiques existants, tant dans le domaine littéraire et philologique que sur le plan historiographique, et affrontant de nouvelles questions provoquées par une poésie plus subtile qu’on ne l’a souvent crue, cette étude ambitionne de restituer à l’écrivain médiéval une écriture consciente de ses forces et de ses faiblesses, écriture élaborée en prise et aux prises avec l’histoire et l’actualité, réfléchissant sur les rapports entre son langage inéluctablement fabuleux et la réalité du monde qu’il habite, non sans en tirer quelques prétentions audacieuses à propos des mérites propres à son travail. L’unité de l’œuvre de Rutebeuf provient de la constance de l’interrogation qui la traverse. Par là, cet individu dont on ignore même le vrai nom apparaît comme un sujet, identique à lui-même dans la diversité de ses actes qu’il s’attribue tous, et dont il assume la pleine responsabilité. Rediscovered for two centuries, Rutebeuf now has the status of a great poet of the Middle Ages. This reputation, however, had the side effect of discouraging the effort to revisit his work on a fresh basis. Also his polygraphy, going back and forth between fabliau and hagiography, satire of the world and self-mockery, impelled critics sometimes to distribute his fifty or so poems into different categories that have little to do with each other, sometimes to favour this or that group of texts to the detriment of the others. Examining the existing scientific achievements, as in the literary and philological field as in terms of historiography, and confronting new questions stimulated by poetry more subtle than has often been believed, this study has ambition to restitute to the medieval writer a writing conscious of its powers and its weaknesses, writing elaborated in contact and dealing with history and current affairs, reflecting on the relationship between his ineluctably fabulous language and the reality of the world he lives, not without drawing some audacious claims about the merits specific to his labour. The unity of Rutebeuf’s work results of the constancy of the interrogation running through it. In that way, this person even whose real name remains unknown appears as a subject, identical to himself in the diversity of his acts, acts that he attributes to his own credit and of which he takes the whole responsibility. Riscoperto negli ultimi due secoli, Rutebeuf ha oggi lo status di grande poeta medievale. Questa fama, tuttavia, ha avuto l'effetto collaterale di scoraggiare lo sforzo di rileggere la sua opera con occhi nuovi. L'unità dell'opera di Rutebeuf deriva dalla costanza dell'interrogativo che la attraversa : questo individuo, di cui non si conosce nemmeno il vero nome, appare come un soggetto, identico a se stesso nella diversità dei suoi atti, che attribuisce tutti a se stesso e di cui si assume la piena responsabilità.

Parmi les copies tardives de l’Ovide moralisé, un groupe spécifique, appelé Z, fournit une véritable réécriture de l’œuvre initiale. Il est formé des codices : Berne, Burgerbibliothek, 10 (Z1) écrit après 1456 ; Paris, BnF, français 874 (Z2) copié en 1456 ; Paris, BnF, français 870 (Z3) composé autour de 1400 pour le texte et 1450 pour le décor ; Paris, BnF, français 19121 (Z4) probablement réalisé entre 1390 et 1410. Le remanieur modifie le récit de la fable, ajoute des expositions historiques inédites dans la tradition de l’Ovide moralisé. Telles sont les modifications communes que présentent les copies Z. Cependant, des divergences se manifestent dans cette famille. Les témoins Z3 et Z4 sont dépourvus d’allégories religieuses, alors que ces dernières ont été réintroduites dans Z1 et Z2. Ces quatre manuscrits présentent donc un moment riche dans la vie de l’Ovide moralisé. L’édition de ce texte, selon le manuscrit Z3, rend compte des spécificités linguistiques de cette reprise de l’Ovide moralisé un siècle après sa création, mais aussi des aspects littéraires de cette réécriture. Le remaniement Z, qui correspond au texte du sous-ensemble Z34, est cohérent et réfléchi. Les traces du dogme chrétien sont minutieusement effacées. L’esthétique du texte converge avec celle des mises en proses, qui se multiplient à partir de la fin du xive siècle mais surtout avec les débats littéraires de l’époque, comme celui autour du Roman de la Rose. Le réviseur exprime aussi le fait que son rejet des allégories repose sur une adéquation plus stricte avec Ovide, qui ne pouvait pas concevoir d’interprétations christianisantes de son propre texte. Among the late copies of the Ovide moralisé, a specific group, called Z, provides a true rewriting of the original work. It consists of the codices: Bern, Burgerbibliothek, 10 (Z1) written after 1456 ; Paris, BnF, French 874 (Z2) copied in 1456 ; Paris, BnF, French 870 (Z3) composed around 1400 for the text and 1450 for the decoration ; Paris, BnF, French 19121 (Z4) probably made between 1390 and 1410. The rewriter modifies the story of the fable, adds historical expositions unheard of in the tradition of the Ovide moralisé. These are the common modifications found in the Z copies. However, there are divergences in this family. The Z3 and Z4 witnesses are devoid of religious allegories, whereas these have been reintroduced in Z1 and Z2. These four manuscripts thus present a rich moment in the life of the Ovide moralisé. The edition of this text, according to manuscript Z3, takes into account the linguistic specificities of this reworking of the Ovide moralisé a century after its creation, but also the literary aspects of this rewriting. The reworking Z, which corresponds to the text of subset Z34, is coherent and thoughtful. Traces of Christian dogma are meticulously erased. The aesthetics of the text converges with that of the prose settings that multiplied at the time from the end of the 14th century onwards, but above all with the literary debates of the time, such as that around the Roman de la Rose. The reviser also expresses the fact that his rejection of allegories is based on a stricter adequacy with Ovid, who could not conceive of Christianizing interpretations of his own text. Questi quattro manoscritti presentano quindi un ricco momento della vita dell’ Ovide moralisé. L’edizione di questo testo, secondo il manoscritto Z3, tiene conto delle specificità linguistiche di questa rielaborazione dell’ Ovide moralisé un secolo dopo la sua creazione, ma anche degli aspetti letterari di questa riscrittura. La rielaborazione Z, che corrisponde al testo del sottoinsieme Z34, è coerente e ponderata. Le tracce del dogma cristiano sono meticolosamente cancellate. L’estetica del testo converge con quella delle ambientazioni in prosa che si moltiplicano all’epoca dalla fine del XIV secolo in poi, ma soprattutto con i dibattiti letterari dell’epoca, come quello che circonda il Roman de la Rose. Il revisore esprime anche il fatto che il suo rifiuto delle allegorie si basa su una più stretta adeguatezza con Ovidio, che non poteva concepire interpretazioni cristianizzanti del suo stesso testo.

De nuptiis Philologiae VI 582. È l’architettura generale della frase (quidem... tamen) a garantire la bontà della lezione absoluere dei manoscritti (introdotta dal morfema verbale licet), la logica del racconto e pure la sua ‘correttezza grammaticale’.

Analizza il grande frammento pasoliniano "Petrolio" discutendo problemi di edizione e di interpretazione e istituendo un collegamento intertestuale con la tradizione della satira menippea

Esito della contaminazione del modello dantesco con innumerevoli altre fonti - dalla letteratura odeporica a quella utopica, dalla prosa religiosa alla poesia burlesca – gli Inferni (1553) di Anton Francesco Doni rappresentano un’opera irriducibile ad un genere predefinito, aperta al gioco intertestuale e all’interazione fra testo e immagini. In una prosa eccentrica e originale, frutto della sua sensibilità manieristica, lo scrittore cinquecentesco ci consegna infatti una potente allegoria della condizione umana, uno specchio rovesciato del mondo come la luna ariostesca, brandendo la penna come una spada per smascherare – tra moralità e ironia – le menzogne della società del tempo.

Il tema di questa tesi sono i racconti fantastici di Dino Buzzati che fanno parte della raccolta Sessanta racconti. All’inizio della tesi si descrive la biografia di Buzzati che è diventato famoso come il Kafka italiano grazie al suo unico modo di scrivere. Dopo la biografia, si parla della teoria del fantastico dove sono elencati i procedimenti formali e i sistemi tematici spesso usati nella letteratura fantastica. Dopo che sono state descritte le caratteristiche del fantastico, si focalizza sul lavoro letterario appartenente al modo fantastico di Buzzati. La seconda parte della tesi contiene l’analisi degli elementi fantastici presenti nei racconti scelti: Il mantello, Gli amici, Ombra del Sud, La fine del mondo, Il borghese stregato, Una goccia, I topi ed Eppure battono alla porta. In questa tesi si analizza la vita personale dello scrittore italiano del Novecento, Giorgio Caproni, e le diverse fasi poetiche, confrontando e collegando gli eventi personali del poeta con la sua produzione lirica. Viene rappresentato un riassunto delle sue raccolte di poesie pubblicate. Dando esempi delle diverse raccolte e poesie del poeta, si osserva il suo stile poetico e i temi principali dei suoi versi. Un accento forte si dedica ai motivi delle due città giovanili di Caproni, Livorno e Genova, che compaiono in tantissime sue poesie scritte. Trattando gli esempi di poesie dalle opere di Giorgio Caproni, si prova a mostrare la personalità dei temi e motivi poetici usati da Caproni, collegati con le persone e ricordi cari della sua gioventù e adolescenza, e nello stesso tempo la loro generalità, comune a tutte le persone. Il tema del viaggio si può trovare in quasi ogni raccolta di poesie di Caproni, come portatore allegorico dei pensieri del poeta. Attraverso il tema del viaggio Caproni riesce a descrivere il ciclo della vita e i suoi pensieri per la vita dopo la morte, religione e il senso della vita. Descrivendo e categorizzando i diversi livelli del viaggio nella poesia caproniana, si tende a mostrare la varietà del poeta e la sua capacità di scrivere dei temi esistenziali usando parole semplici e comprensibili a ogni persona. U ovom diplomskom radu analizira se život talijanskog književnika dvadesetog stoljeća, Giorgia Capronija, i njegove pjesničke faze, uspoređujući i povezujući stvarne događaje iz pjesnikova života s njegovom lirskom produkcijom. Predstavljen je sažetak njegovih objavljenih pjesničkih zbirki. Na primjerima različitih pjesničkih zbirki i pjesama, razmatra se Capronijev pjesnički stil i glavne teme njegovih stihova. Snažan naglasak posvećen je motivima dvaju gradova iz pjesnikove mladosti, Livornu i Genovi, koji se pojavljuju u brojnim njegovim napisanim pjesmama. Obrađujući primjere pjesama iz djela Giorgia Capronija, nastoji se prikazati osobnost pjesničkih tema i motiva, povezanih s ljudima i dragim uspomenama iz Capronijeve mladosti i odrasle dobi, a istovremeno i njihovu općenitost, zajedničku svim ljudima. Tema putovanja može se naći u gotovo svakoj zbirci Capronijevih pjesama, kao alegorijski nositelj pjesnikovih misli. Obrađujući temu putovanja, Caproni uspijeva opisati životni ciklus i izraziti svoje misli za život nakon smrti, religiju i smisao života. Opisujući i kategorizirajući različite razine putovanja u poeziji Giorgia Capronija, nastoji se dočarati raznolikost pjesnika i njegova sposobnost pisanja o egzistencijalnim temama koristeći jednostavne i razumljive riječi za svaku osobu. This thesis analyses the personal life of the Italian writer of the twentieth century, Giorgio Caproni, and the different poetic phases, comparing and connecting the personal events of the poet with his lyrical production. A summary of his published poetry collections is presented. Following the example of the poet's various poetry collections and poems, we can observe his poetic style and the main themes of his verses. A strong emphasis is dedicated to the motifs of the two cities where Caproni spent his childhood and youth, Livorno and Genoa, which appear in many of his written poems. By treating the examples of poems from the works of Giorgio Caproni, we try to show the personality of the poetic themes and motifs used by Caproni, connected to the people and cherished memories of his youth and adulthood, and at the same time their generality, which makes them common to all people. The theme of journey can be found in almost every Giorgio Caproni’s poetry collection, as an allegorical bearer of the poet's thoughts. Using the theme of journey, Caproni manages to describe the cycle of life and his thoughts for life after death, religion, and the meaning of life.
