The co-occurrence of retroperitoneal liposarcoma and a giant colonic diverticulum poses diagnostic challenges due to their uncommon nature and overlapping clinical presentations. Here, we present a unique case report of a 76-year-old female with hypertension and myasthenia gravis who presented to Vishesh Jupiter Hospital, Indore and diagnosed with retroperitoneal liposarcoma complicated by a giant colonic diverticulum detailing its presentation, diagnostic journey and management strategies. Background: The Indian Ministry of Labour and Employment launched a social health protection program called Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) in the year 2008 to provide financial protection from catastrophic health expenses to Below Poverty Line (BPL) households (HHs).[1,5]. Objectives: 1. To find out the awareness regarding Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna among 100 BPL and unorganized workers in the urban population of Indore. 2. To find out the level of utilization of the scheme among card holders. Material and Methods: A community-based study using simple random sampling was conducted among 100 Below Poverty Line (BPL) families and unorganized workers residing in a slum area of Indore city. A pre-tested semi-structured questionnaire was used. Data was entered in excel sheet and analyzed using SPSS software 25.0 (trial version). Chi-square test was applied wherever necessary. Results: Among 100 study participants, 63% were males. Only 35% participants were literate. 79% were married, 20% were widow/widower, and 1% were unmarried. 45% were employed, 30% unemployed and 25% were retired. Majority (52 %) people were between 41-50 years' age. Only 25% were aware about RSBY. 95% felt it is very important and everyone should have it. 20% of the participants were card holders. 50% of the card holders had never utilized the card. When asked about changes desired in enrolment process, 50% people wanted it to be cashless and 35 % wanted it to be less time taking while 15% people wanted it to be paperless. Association between gender, employment status, literacy and awareness was found significant (p-value< 0.05). Conclusion: Awareness and utilization of RSBY in urban slum is low. Gastrointestinal tract duplications are rare congenital abnormalities. Majority are diagnosed in pediatric age group of less than two years. Lesions can be seen anywhere from the oral cavity to the anus, but the most commonly affected site is ileum (long and tubular) which is usually in the form of cystic masses. The clinical manifestation of Gastrointestinal duplicationin adults is variable, and they are rarely considered as part of differential diagnosis. Background: Present study attempts to assess the skills of staff including Doctors and nurses posted in labour room and maternity OTs based on OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) as mentioned in LaQshya guidelines in selected areas of Indore and Ujjain district (M.P) regarding the management of normal labour, the active management of third stage of labour, Newborn Resuscitation, management of PPH due to atonic uterus and management of eclampsia. Even in these parameters many sub-parameters were studied. Materials and Methods: Pre designed semi structured Observation checklist for Health care providers regarding skill assessment of the staff based on OSCE guideline was used to assess Health care providers including Doctors, Staff nurses/ANMs, who are providing MCH services in LR (Labour room) and maternity OT of the selected hospitals of Indore and Ujjain district. Results: Most of the manoeuvres were better performed by staff nurses posted in CHCs rather than those posted in PHCs. Breathing assessment of baby was lacking among staff nurses of both CHCs and PHCs and needed to be tackled with by a reorientation training of paramedical staff in critical care. Decision to transfer (is usually after Consultation with the in charge, hence it is usually the Medical officers prerogative) and bimanual compression/ aortic compression/condom tamponade to control bleeding was done exclusively by MOs. Conclusion: OSCE helped to assess the skills of the staff of maternity wing in a comprehensive manner and was well appreciated by the staff. Introduction: Quality of care in labor room and maternity operation theatre is crucial so that every pregnant woman receives the most appropriate care with dignity and respect, which is her fundamental right. The present study was attempted to assess the satisfaction of beneficiaries of both rural and urban areas visiting the public health facilities with regard to the quality of care and Respectful Maternal Care (RMC). Methodology: The present study was carried out in the Department of Community Medicine, MGM Medical College Indore to assess the satisfaction of beneficiaries of both rural and urban areas visiting the public health facilities with regard to the quality of care and Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) for 1 year from June 2020 to June 2021. A scoring system was used and based on the perception of the beneficiaries on different parameters on the scale of 1-5 where 1 -- poor, 2 -- satisfactory, 3 -- good, 4 -- very good, and 5 was considered excellent. Results: The majority of beneficiaries were in the age group of 21-30 years. Statistically significant difference between rural and urban areas in parameters of beneficiaries with regards to various aspects of post-natal care, in parameter of explanation of treatment procedure, maintenance of privacy efforts put to not allow to feel lonely and treatment with dignity and respect between rural and urban areas. Conclusion: When all the parameters and subparameters of the perception of beneficiaries of quality of care and respectful maternity care (RMC) were analyzed in both rural and urban areas, statistically significant difference was observed.
