Digital, The authors of this study inquire about the association between handgrip strength (HGS) and the risk of falls in physically active older women. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 135 women between 50 and 90 years of age who were referred for the follow-up evaluations of HGS using dynamometry and the Tinetti scale to determine the risk of falls. The mean age was 68.8 ± 8.5 years. A total of 31.9% of women had a high risk of falls, and 55% reported five or more falls in the past six months. In addition, our results indicated that grip strength decreases as risk of falls increases (minimal risk = 42.8, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 39.8, 45.8; moderate risk = 31.3, 95% CI: 29.1, 33.5; high risk = 21.9, 95% CI: 19.3, 24.6). It should be considered that in physically active women aged over 50 years, the grip strength could be a predictor of falls and risk of falls. PURPOSE Maintenance cardiac rehabilitation (M-CR) programs aim to preserve the health benefits achieved during phase II cardiac rehabilitation (CR). The aim of this study was to establish the effects of M-CR on functional capacity, quality of life, risk factors, costs, mortality, and morbidity, among other outcomes. METHODS Scopus, ISI Web of Science, PubMed, Embase & Embase classic OVID, and Lilacs were searched. Randomized controlled trials, published between 2000 and 2016, on the effects of M-CR in patients with cardiovascular disease, who had graduated from CR, having a control or comparison arm were included. Citations were processed by two authors, independently. Methodological quality was assessed using PEDro, and level of evidence graded with the Scottish scale. Outcomes were qualitatively synthesized. RESULTS The searches retrieved 1901 studies with 26 articles meeting inclusion criteria (3752 participants). Some trials tested M-CR in nonclinical settings, and others used resistance or high-intensity interval training. The methodological quality of 11 articles was good, with a level of evidence (1+) and a grade B recommendation. Results showed M-CR resulted in increased or maintained functional capacity, quality of life, and physical activity levels, when compared with the control. No adverse events were reported. Few studies assessed rehospitalizations and mortality. CONCLUSION Quality of included trials was low because it is not possible to double-blind in M-CR trials and also due to the heterogeneity of M-CR interventions. Understanding, availability, and use of M-CR programs should be increased.

Digital, Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is under-used, particularly in low-resource settings. There are few studies of barriers and facilitators to CR adherence in these settings, particularly considering multiple perspectives. In this multiple-method study, a cross-sectional survey including the Cardiac Rehabilitation Barriers Scale (each item scored on a five-point Likert scale) was administered to patients treated between February and July, 2019, in three CR centers in Colombia. A random subsample of 50 participants was invited to a focus group, along with an accompanying relative. Physiotherapists from the programs were invited to an interview, with a similar interview guide. Audio-recordings were transcribed and analyzed using interpretive description. A total of 210 patients completed the survey, and 9 patients, together with 3 of their relatives and 3 physiotherapists, were interviewed. The greatest barriers identified were costs (mean = 2.8 ± 1.6), distance (2.6 ± 1.6) and transportation (2.5 ± 1.6); the logistical subscale was highest. Six themes were identified, pertaining to well-being, life roles, weather, financial factors, healthcare professionals and health system factors. The main facilitators were encouragement from physiotherapists, relatives and other patients. The development of hybrid programs where patients transition from supervised to unsupervised sessions when appropriate should be considered, if health insurers were to reimburse them. ObjectivesUnderstanding gender differences in chronic pain (CP) outcome research is essential to optimal treatment delivery. This study explored the associations between gender identity, gender roles, and the number of non-life-threatening pain medication adverse effects reported as severe by people living with CP.MethodsThe analyses were conducted using the COPE Cohort, a dataset generated through a web-based recruitment of adults with CP. Participants were asked how they identified themselves (women, men, unknown, unspecified) and gender roles were measured using the Bem Sex-Role Inventory (subgroups were formed applying the median split method). Pain medication adverse effects were assessed using a standardized checklist (none/mild/moderate/severe). A zero-inflated Poisson model was used to assess gender identity, gender roles and their interaction as potential predictors of the number of pain medication adverse effects.ResultsA total of 1,343 participants reported using pain medications. Adjusting for potential confounders, both gender identity (men vs. women: ß = −0.32, p = 0.0024) and gender roles (androgynous vs. undifferentiated: ß = 0.26, p = 0.0030) were associated with the number of pain medication adverse effects reported as severe, and they interacted with each other. The stratified analysis by gender roles showed that women reported a greater number of severe adverse effects than men among those classified as masculine and androgynous.DiscussionAlthough we are unable to confirm whether the associations can be explained by differences in the experience or in the reporting of effects, gender identity and gender roles should both be explored when studying pain medication adverse effects.

Numerous definitions of acute low back pain (aLBP) exist. The use of different definitions results in variability in reported prevalence or incidence, conflicting data regarding factors associated with the transition to chronic LBP (cLBP), and hampers comparability among studies.Here, we compare the impact of 3 aLBP definitions on the number of aLBP cases and participants' characteristics and explore the distribution of participants across definitions.A sample of 1264 participants from the Quebec Low Back Pain Study was included. Three definitions of aLBP were used: (1) not meeting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) cLBP definition ("nonchronic"), (2) pain beginning3 months ago ("acute"), and (3) pain beginning3 months with a preceding LBP-free period ("new episode").There were 847, 842, and 489 aLBP cases meeting the criteria for the 3 definitions, respectively. Participants included in the "nonchronic" had lower pain interference, greater physical function scores, and fewer participants reporting5 years of pain than in the other definitions. Half the participants meeting the "acute" definition and one-third of participants meeting the "new episode" definition were also classified as cLBP based on the NIH definition.Our results highlight the importance of the definition used for aLBP. Different definitions influence the sample size and clinical profiles (group's characteristics). We recommended that cohort studies examining the transition from aLBP to cLBP ensure that the definitions selected are mutually exclusive (ie, participants included [aLBP] differ from the expected outcome [cLBP]).

Introducción: Existe poca evidencia que detalle el comportamiento de cada variable espacio-temporal del patrón de carrera utilizando diferentes superficies. Objetivo: Comparar las variables espaciotemporales del patrón de carrera de futbolistas adolescentes en superficie natural y artificial. Método: se realizó un estudio de corte transversal con 18 jugadores de fútbol masculino (edad mediana= 12 años; Rango intercuartílico [RIC] 12-13). Mediante un sistema de medición óptico de 5 metros de longitud se analizó velocidad, aceleración, tiempo de contacto (Tc), tiempo de vuelo (Tv), fase de contacto, fase de apoyo, propulsión, zancada y cadencia. Las valoraciones fueron inicialmente desarrolladas en Superficie Artificial (SA) y 24 horas después en Superficie Natural (SN). Se utilizaron las pruebas Rangos con signos de Wilcoxon para datos pareados y el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. BACKGROUND There are no Colombian studies published that assess non-specific low back pain (NSLBP) risk factors in children. OBJECTIVE To determine the factors associated with NSLBP in 73 children (19.2% girls) aged 10-12 years in one military school in Bucaramanga, Colombia. METHODS A questionnaire was used to obtain information of risk factors. Subsequently, children's weight and height were measured. The backpack was weighed at the beginning of each day from Monday to Friday. Crude and adjusted prevalence ratios were calculated, with their respective 95% confidence interval (CI). RESULTS The one-month prevalence of NSLBP was 39.7% (95% CI 28.4-51.9). In the multivariate analysis, carrying backpacks wearing between 12% and 20% of body weight, having a perception that the backpack is very heavy, and being a passive smoker increase the likelihood of NSLBP, while being 11-year-old compared to 10-year-old decreases the likelihood of having NSLBP, adjusted for gender, body mass index, and history of LBP in parents. CONCLUSIONS High prevalence of low back pain was found in children between 10 and 12 years old. The study of the decisive factors of low back pain is important to identify children at risk, as well as to develop efficient primary prevention programs.

Background: The coronavirus disease 19 (covid-19) pandemic has underscored the need to expedite clinical research, which may lead investigators to shift away from measuring patient-important outcomes (PIOs), limiting research applicability. We aim to describe the extent to which randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of covid-19 therapies will determine PIOs. Methods: We will perform a meta-epidemiological study of RCTs that included people at risk for, or with suspected, probable, or confirmed covid-19, examining any pharmacological treatment or blood product aimed at prophylaxis or treatment. We will obtain data from all RCTs identified in a recent published network metanalysis (NMA). To categorize the outcomes according to their importance to patients, we will adapt a previously defined hierarchy: a) mortality, b) quality of life/ functional status/symptoms, c) morbidity, and d) surrogate outcomes. Outcomes within the category a) and b) will be considered critically important to patients, and outcomes within the category c) will be regarded as important. We will use descriptive statistics to assess the proportion of studies that report each category of outcomes. We will perform univariable and multivariable analysis to explore associations between trial characteristics and the likelihood of reporting PIOs. Discussion: The findings from this meta-epidemiological study will help health care professionals and researchers understand if the current covid-19 trials are effectively assessing and reporting the outcomes that are important to patients. Cardiac rehabilitation is supported by the highest level of scientific evidence. However, less than 25% of those eligible to participate in a cardiac rehabilitation program initiate it, and of these, 50% drop out prematurely. A modified Spanish Cardiac Rehabilitation Barriers Scale (CRBS) has been translated, culturally adapted and validated in Colombia, however, the reliability remains to be evaluated. This study aimed to determine the internal consistency and test–retest reliability of the CRBS in a Colombian population. In total, 193 patients (67% men, average age = 65 ± 12 years) completed the scale twice, with an average of eight days between applications. Cronbach’s Alpha and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) were calculated. The internal consistency of the Colombian version of the CRBS was acceptable (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.84). The ICC of the CRBS was 0.69 (95% CI 0.61–0.76), 0.78 (95% CI 0.71–0.84) when the CRBS was completed by interview, and 0.47 (95% CI 0.21–0.67) when the CRBS was self-reported. The reliability of the interview version of the CRBS was substantial in the Colombian population, however, the reliability of the self-report version was lower. The use of this scale will allow developing strategies to increase participation and adherence to cardiac rehabilitation programs.

BackgroundRehabilitation therapies are still in the early stages of development in Honduras. At the present time there are no formal training opportunities in Honduras to support the learning needs of health professionals and healthcare workers who specialize in neurological rehabilitation. Support and development of those delivering rehabilitation services from community engaged academic collaborations outside of Honduras can enhance the learning and knowledge of healthcare workers. The purpose of this study was to evaluate reaction and learning linked to two continuing educational workshops for rehabilitation workers in northern Honduras. MethodsThe study design was a pretest-posttest design. The workshops were conducted in a rehabilitation center and a family support organization located in northern Honduras in September 2017.Faculty from Canada and Colombia, together with health professionals from Honduras, facilitated two workshops. Seventeen participants attended the ‘Acquired brain injury/spinal cord injury workshop’ (adult workshop); 15 attended the ‘Rehabilitation for children with impaired neuromotor development workshop’ (pediatric workshop). Participants completed three questionnaires: sociodemographic, knowledge, and Modified Stages of Learning Questionnaires (MSLQ), and three after: Modified Kirkpatrick, knowledge, MSLQ. ResultsWorkshop participants were physiotherapists, physicians, nurses, educational professionals and other non-physiotherapists. Most agreed that the workshops had positive effects in reaction (engagement, relevance, satisfaction), and learning (skills, attitude, confidence and commitment). Stages of Learning changed from scanning/evaluation to learning/experience (pConclusionsWorkshops offered to the neurological rehabilitation healthcare workers in Honduras through an international collaboration resulted in enhanced learning and knowledge of participants. This has the potential to improve quality of care for people with neurological conditions in the region.

Background Chronic back disorders (CBD) are a global health problem and the leading cause of years lived with disability. The present study aims to examine overall and specific trends in CBD in the Canadian population aged 18 to 65 years. Methods Data from the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), a cross-sectional study, from 2007 to 2014 (8 cycles) were used to calculate CBD prevalence across gender, age, geographical area (urban/rural and ten provinces and northern territories), and physical activity levels. CBD was defined in the CCHS as having back problems, excluding fibromyalgia and arthritis, which have lasted or are expected to last six months or more and that have been diagnosed by a health professional. Prevalence of CBD using survey weights and associated 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) were calculated yearly using balanced repeated replications technique. Trend tests were calculated using joinpoint regressions; ArcGIS software was used for mapping. Results Age-standardized CBD prevalence in 2007 and 2014 were 18.9% (95% CI = 18.4;19.5) and 17.8% (95% CI = 17.2,18.4), respectively. CBD prevalence was consistently higher in women, older age groups, rural dwellers, and people classified as inactive. Objetivo: Describir las actitudes hacia el ejercicio físico y el cumplimiento de las recomendaciones de Actividad Física de los profesionales de la salud pertenecientes a una Institución Prestadora de Salud (IPS) de Bucaramanga. Métodos: estudio descriptivo exploratorio, realizado en 33 sujetos (36,06 ± 7,77 años; 72,73% mujeres) a los que se les aplicó un cuestionario que incluía 7 preguntas tipo Likert, dos de selección múltiple con única respuesta, y la versión corta del IPAQ. Resultados: La mayoría reporta tener una buena actitud hacia el ejercicio físico y el 42,4% cumple las recomendaciones de actividad física según la OMS. En el análisis exploratorio, la actitud asociada al cumplimiento de recomendaciones de actividad física fue: estoy conforme con la formación profesional en ejercicio físico que he recibido. Aquellos que reportaron estar en desacuerdo, muy en desacuerdo, ni en acuerdo ni en desacuerdo cumplían en menor proporción estas recomendaciones (p=0,039). Conclusiones: todos los evaluados consideran importante tener buenos hábitos de actividad física, prescribir ejercicio y además recomiendan AF para la prevención o manejo de enfermedades. Por otra parte se observó, que el no estar conforme con la formación académica recibida en ejercicio físico puede ser una barrera para el cumplimiento de las recomendaciones de actividad física

7 p., Introduction: Cardiac rehabilitation programmes encourage lifestyle changes and reduce therecurrence of morbidity and mortality by 25 %. Nevertheless, attendance rate to such program-mes varies between 7.5 and 29%, and around 40 to 50 % of users abandon the treatment duringthe early stages.Motivation: To describe the barriers found in those who participated or not in cardiac rehabi-litation programmes after percutaneous revascularisation.Methods: Cross-sectional study of 30 patients, who were applied the barrier scale for car-diac rehabilitation, using Likert-type questions, where the highest scores indicated a biggerperception of the barrier to participate in a cardiad rehabilitation programme.Results: The major barriers per item were: «I find this exercise is tiring and/or painful» withan average of 2.86, followed by «I currently exercise» and «I did not know about cardiacrehabilitation» with an average of 2.73. The lowest score was: «Many people have heart pro-blems and do not go», with 1.73. More barriers were shown in those who did not attend a cardiacrehabilitation programme (p < 0.05) than whose who did; in addition, most barriers were foundin the fields of perceived needs and comorbidities/functional state (p < 0.05). This indicatesa lack of orientation and education when it comes to the benefits that users could obtain byjoining and participating in a cardiac rehabilitation programme, no matter how they feels orthe type of functional limitations they may have., Introducción: Los programas de rehabilitación cardiaca promueven cambios de estilo de vida y disminuyen la recurrencia de enfermedad y mortalidad en un 25%. No obstante, la tasa de asistencia a éstos varía entre el 7,5 al 29%, y cerca del 40 al 50% de los usuarios abandonan el tratamiento en forma prematura. Objetivo: describir las barreras encontradas en quienes participaron o no en programas de rehabilitación cardíaca después de ser sometidos a una revascularización percutánea. Métodos: estudio de corte transversal, realizado en treinta sujetos, a quienes se les aplicó la escala de barreras para la rehabilitación cardiaca, que usa preguntas tipo Likert, donde los puntajes más altos indican mayor percepción de barrera para participar en un programa de rehabilitación cardíaca. Resultados: Las mayores barreras por ítem fueron: «yo encuentro al ejercicio fatigante y/o doloroso», con un promedio de 2,86, seguido por «Yo hago actualmente ejercicio» y «Yo no sabía de la rehabilitación cardiaca» con un promedio de 2,73. El de menor puntaje fue: «Muchas personas sufren del corazón y no van», con 1,73. Presentaron más barreras quienes no asistieron a un programa de rehabilitación cardíaca (p < 0,05) que quienes sí lo hicieron; además las mayores barreras se encontraron en los dominios de necesidades percibidas y comorbilidades/estado funcional (p < 0,05). Lo anterior hace suponer falta de orientación y educación respecto a los beneficios que pueden obtener los usuarios al ingresar y adherirse a un programa de rehabilitación cardíaca, independiente de como se sientan o el tipo de limitación funcional que tengan.

Objetivo: Comparar los efectos del estiramiento mantenido, versus el estiramiento mantenido, previo calentamiento con ultrasonido terapéutico sobre la extensibilidad de los músculos isquiotibiales en mujeres universitarias de 18 a 30 años de edad.Metodología: Se llevó a cabo un ensayo clínico controlado aleatorizado. Catorce mujeres (22,3±3,9 años) fueron asignadas aleatoriamente a dos grupos, EM (7 minutos) previo US (US+EM), n=8 y EM por 7 minutos, n=6. Las diferencias entre evaluaciones se compararon mediante la prueba t de student; el efecto de la intervención se evalúo mediante un análisis de covarianza.Resultados: Aumentó significativamente la flexibilidad de miembros inferiores en los dos grupos. En el grupo US+EM aumentó -8,75±5,5; mientras que en el grupo EM el aumento fue -3,5±2,7; al comparar los grupos no se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas. Se encontró un aumento estadísticamente significativo en los grados finales en el grupo intervenido US+EM, -5,8(IC95%:-10,9;-0,67p=0,030) en comparación con el grupo de EM ajustando solo por puntaje inicial.Conclusión: Una sola exposición al US+EM es suficiente para potenciar las ganancias en la extensibilidad de los músculos isquiotibiales en mujeres adultas comparado con el EM. Objective: To compare the effects of SM versus US + SM on the extensibility of the hamstring muscles in adult women.Methods: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial was conducted. Fourteen women (22.3 ± 3.9 years) randomly assigned to two groups, SM (7 minutes) prior US (US + SM), n=8 and SM for 7 minutes, n=6. The differences between assessments were compared using student’s t-test; the effect of the intervention was evaluated by analysis of covariance.Results: Significantly increased flexibility of lower limbs in both groups. In the US + SM group increased -8.75 ± 5.5; while increasing in the SM group was -3.5 ± 2.7; when comparing the groups, no statistically significant differences were found. A statistically significant increase was found in final grades in the US + SM intervention group, -5.8 (95% CI: - 10.9; -0.67p = 0.030) compared with the SM group adjusting only for baseline score.Conclusion: A single exposure to US + SM is sufficient to enhance the gains in hamstring extensibility in adult women compared to SM.

Objectives: to determine the level of RPF and to explore the association among aerobic fitness, flexibility and muscle strength with overweight and obesity in schoolchildren 8-12 years.Methods: a cross-sectional study was performed; we selected for convenience the fourth and fifth degrees from “Instituto Tecnologico Salesiano Eloy Valenzuela”. The prevalence of overweight and obesity was determined according to the WHO-CDC and the FITNESSGRAM. The HRPF was assessed using the FITNESSGRAM battery. Simple and multiple Poisson regression models were applied to calculate prevalence ratios (PR) and their confidence intervals 95% (CI 95%).Results: a total of 66 students (10.4 ± 0.82 years), 19.6% women, and 48.5% of the fourth grade, were included. 78.8% and 39.4% were below the healthy fitness zone in the trunk extension strength and the aerobic fitness qualities, respectively. The prevalence of overweight and obesity according to WHO-CDC criteria was 30.3%. The physical qualities associated with overweight and obesity were aerobic fitness (PR 2.32 CI 95% 1.08 to 4.96) and muscle strength of upper limbs (PR CI 95% 1.28 to 9.69 3.53).Conclusions: the percentage of children below the healthy area was higher in the muscular strength and aerobic fitness physical qualities. Which were associated with overweight and obesity. This is especially relevant given that adequate aerobic fitness in childhood has been linked to a healthier cardio-metabolic profile. Objetivos: determinar el nivel de AFRS y explorar la asociación entre capacidad aeróbica, flexibilidad y fuerza muscular con el exceso de peso en escolares de 8 a 12 años.Materiales y métodos: se realizó un estudio de corte transversal, se seleccionaron por conveniencia los grados cuarto y quinto del Instituto Tecnológico Salesiano Eloy Valenzuela. La prevalencia de sobrepeso y obesidad se determinó según la OMS-CDC y el FITNESSGRAM. La AFRS se evaluó mediante la batería FITNESSGRAM. Se aplicaron modelos de regresión de Poisson simples y múltiples para calcular las razones de prevalencia (RP) y sus intervalos de confianza del 95% (IC95%).Resultados: participaron 66 escolares (10,4 ± 0,82 años), 19,6% mujeres y 48,5% de grado cuarto. El 78,8% y 39,4% estaba por debajo de la zona de aptitud física saludable en las cualidades fuerza muscular en extensores de tronco y capacidad aeróbica, respectivamente. La prevalencia de sobrepeso y obesidad según el criterio OMS-CDC fue del 30,3%. Las cualidades físicas asociadas con el sobrepeso y obesidad fueron capacidad aeróbica (RP 2,32 IC95% 1,08-4,96) y la fuerza muscular de miembros superiores (RP 3,53 IC95% 1,28-9,69).Conclusiones: el porcentaje de niños por debajo de la zona saludable fue mayor en las cualidades físicas, fuerza muscular y capacidad aeróbica. Las cuales se asociaron con exceso de peso. 8 p., Introduction: The barriers scale for cardiac rehabilitation was designed to evaluate partici-pation barriers and patient adherence to cardiac rehabilitation programs as used in Canadianstudies. The cultural adaptation and validation of its contents to the Colombian context waspreviously evaluated before assessing its reliability.Objective: To determine the internal consistency and the test-retest reproducibility of thebarriers scale for cardiac rehabilitation in a Colombian population.Methods: The study included 30 patients (66.6% male, mean age = 67.0 ± 11.0 years), who weresubjected to a percutaneous revascularisation in the Bucaramanga Los Comuneros UniversityHospital, Colombia, completed the scale at two times, with an interval of two months betweenthem. The Cronbach-alpha coefficients and the intra-class coefficients (ICC) were calculated.Results: The internal consistency of the Colombian version of the scale and the barriers scalefor cardiac rehabilitation was good (Cronbach-alpha = 0.84). The ICC found was 0.711 (95% CI;0.423-0.860). The reproducibility by domains was as follows: for the logistic factor (ICC: 0.76;95% CI; 0.56-0.88); for the comorbidities/functional state (ICC: 0.73; 95% CI; 0.51-0.86); for thehealth perception factor (ICC: 0.66; 95% CI; 0.38-0.83; and finally for the work/time conflictsfactor (ICC: 0.56; 95% CI; 0.29-0.78). The mean score per patient was 2.3 ± 0.7 and 2.0 ± 0.7in the first and second evaluation, respectively (p = .0071).Conclusion: The barriers scale for cardiac rehabilitation has an acceptable reliability in theColombian population evaluated. The identification of barriers using this scale will help to deve-lop strategies to increase the participation and adherence to cardiac rehabilitation programsfocused on the real needs of the patients., Introducción: La Escala de Barreras para la Rehabilitación Cardíaca (EBRC) fue dise˜nada para evaluar las barreras de participación y adherencia de pacientes a programas de rehabilitación cardíaca en el contexto de investigación canadiense. Previamente se evaluó la adaptación cultural y validación de su contenido al contexto colombiano, antes de evaluar su confiabilidad. Objetivo: determinar la consistencia interna y la reproducibilidad prueba --- reprueba de la EBRC en población colombiana. Métodos: 30 pacientes (66,6% hombres, edad promedio = 67,0 ± 11,0 a˜nos) sometidos a revascularización percutánea en Los Comuneros Hospital Universitario de Bucaramanga, Colombia completaron la escala en dos momentos, con un intervalo de dos meses entre las aplicaciones. Se calcularon los coeficientes Alfa de Cronbach y de correlación intraclase (CCI). Resultados: La consistencia interna de la EBRC versión colombiana fue buena (Alfa de Cronbach = 0,84). El CCI encontrado fue de 0,711 (IC95% 0,423-0,860). Por dominios, la reproducibilidad fue la siguiente: para el factor logístico CCI de 0,76; IC95% 0,56-0,88; para el factor comorbilidades/estado funcional (CCI: 0,73; IC95% 0,51-0,86); para el factor percepción de salud CCI: 0,66; IC95% 0,38-0,83; y finalmente, para el factor conflictos de trabajo/tiempo CCI: 0,56; IC95% 0,29-0,78. El promedio de puntaje por paciente fue de 2,3 ± 0,7 y 2,0 ± 0,7 en la primera y segunda evaluación respectivamente (p = 0,0071). Conclusión: La escala de barreras para la rehabilitación cardiaca tiene una confiabilidad aceptable en población colombiana evaluada. La identificación de barreras mediante esta escala, permitirá desarrollar estrategias para incrementar la participación y adherencia a los programas de rehabilitación cardiaca enfocados en las necesidades reales de los pacientes.

Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal descriptivo en la Fundación Hematológica Colombia. Bogotá. Se realizó un muestreo aleatorio simple a partir del listado de unidades ingresadas en una colecta de sangre con el fin de realizar la verificación del recuento de glóbulos blancos residuales por cámara de Nageotte© y Cell Dyn Ruby©. Para el análisis de los datos se aplicaron medidas de tendencia central y de dispersión para las variables cuantitativas, (IC 95%) y correlación de Spearman para el análisis de procedimientos satisfactorios (Prueba T); el análisis de los datos se realizó en el programa SPSS© de IBM Versión 19. Resultados: La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 124 muestras de plaquetas obtenidas por aféresis. En relación al recuento de células las dos metodologías presentaron un promedio de 0,057 vs 0,003 células contadas; el valor máximo para las dos metodologías fue de 0,34 – 0,44. Conclusiones: Las muestras analizadas presentaron recuentos residuales de Glóbulos Blancos por debajo de 5,0 x 106 valor estimado para definir la unidad como leucorreducida, con este hallazgo se pone en evidencia la seguridad de la transfusión de plaquetas obtenidas por aféresis en aspectos relacionados con reacciones a la transfusión por leucocitos residuales, adicionalmente se podría utilizar plaquetas con seguridad dejando en consideración el uso de filtros para leucorredución.

Objetivo: Establecer los factores de riesgo asociados a incontinencia urinaria en mujeres en edad fértil de 10 a 49 años del barrio Girardot, Bucaramanga 2011. Metodología: Se realizó un estudio tipo transversal, se aplicó una encuesta mediante entrevista, entre marzo y mayo de 2011, a 80 mujeres seleccionadas por conveniencia (34±11,9 años). Se estableció la asociación mediante regresiones de Poisson simples y múltiples. La variable dependiente fue incontinencia urinaria definida como un puntaje mayor que cero en el cuestionario International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Short-Form (ICIQ-SF). Resultados: Se encontró una prevalencia de incontinencia urinaria de 63,75% (IC95% 52,24-74,21), la prevalencia de incontinencia urinaria de esfuerzo fue de 50% (IC95% 38,8-61,2) y de urgencia de 11,3% (IC95% 4,2-18,3). En el análisis multivariado se encontró asociación entre fumadora activa e incontinencia urinaria [RP 1,6 (IC95% 1,3-2,1)]. Conclusión: La identificación de factores de riesgo asociados a incontinencia urinaria es importante para desarrollar intervenciones que disminuyan la carga de este fenómeno en la población general.

Objetivo: Determinar los conocimientos y actitudes hacia la promoción de la donación de Sangre en docentes del Programa de Fisioterapia de la Universidad de Santander – Colombia. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de tipo trasversal con los docentes del programa de fisioterapia de la Universidad de Santander – Colombia en el 2013. Resultados: La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 21 docentes del programa de fisioterapia con un promedio de edad de 37,05 años, el sexo predominante fue el femenino, el tiempo de ejercicio docente fue de 9,20 años y tan solo el 23,8 de los docentes había donado sangre alguna vez en su vida; en relación a la promoción de la donación en las aulas de clase el total de los docentes considera importante la donación. Entre las razones para no se destacan "Temor a la extracción de sangre" y las razones para donar se resalta la publicidad. Conclusión: Los docentes son actores importantes dentro del proceso de promoción de la donación en la población estudiantil. Background: Determine knowledge and attitudes towards promoting blood donation inPhysiotherapy Program teachers at the University of Santander - Colombia. Materialsand methods: We performed a cross-type study with teachers of physical therapy programat the University of Santander - Colombia in 2013. Results: The study populationconsisted of 21 teachers in the physical therapy program with an average age of 37.05years, the majority of patients were female, teaching exercise time was 9.20 years andonly 23.8 of teachers had donated blood at some time in their life, in relation to thepromotion of donation on total classrooms of teachers considered important donation.Among the reasons not to include “Fear of drawing blood” and highlights reasons fordonating advertising. Discussion: Teachers are important actors in the process ofpromoting donation in the student population.

Objetivo: Aplicar la PC6M y E.B.M en sujetos con diversos tipos de cáncer en pacientes de la Fundación de Alivio contra el cáncer AVAC, Bucaramanga – Colombia.Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal descriptivo en el periodo de junio a diciembre de 2010Resultados: La muestra estuvo conformada por 40 sujetos la mayoría de sexo femenino 72,5 %, con predominio del cáncer de mama 32,5%, se encontraron cambios estadísticamente significativos en variables fisiológicas al inicio y al final de la prueba (p=0,000), el promedio de metros recorridos en la PC6M 307,7 ±93,9 metros.Conclusión: La diminución de los metros recorridos aporta informacion acerca de la disminucion de la capacidad fisica en los sujetos con cancer. Objective: Was to apply the 6MWT and the MBS on subjects with different types ofcancer in patients Relief Foundation QALY cancer, Bucaramanga - Colombia. Materialsand methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was made within a period ofJune to December 2010. Results: The sample consisted of 40 subjects most 72.5%female, predominantly breast cancer 32.5%, were found statistically significant changesin physiological variables at the beginning and end of the trial (p = 0.000), theaverage distance walked in PC6M 307.7 ± 93.9 meters. Discussion: The decreaseof the distance walked provide information about the decline of physical capacity insubjects with cancer.

Objetivo: determinar la asociación entre la participación social de los niños con discapacidad y la satisfacción de los padres con la participación social de sus hijos. Métodos: estudio de corte transversal realizado en 80 niños de 5-13 años (9±2,7 años) con discapacidad, residentes en Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana, seleccionados por conveniencia. Se aplicó el instrumento de evaluación de hábitos de vida. Se calculó el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman (p). Resultados: el puntaje global de participación social fue de 6±2,3 y de satisfacción de los padres con la participación social fue 3,6±0,7. El hábito con mayor correlación fue comunicación (p= 0,83), y con menor relaciones interpersonales (p= 0,44); en el puntaje global se evidencia muy buena correlación entre participación social y satisfacción de los padres con la participación social (p= 0,82). Conclusiones: al plantear objetivos y tratamientos se debe tener en cuenta tanto participación social como satisfacción de los padres con la participación social y no tomarlas por separado.Objectives: to determine the association between the social participation of the children with disabilities and the satisfaction of their parents with it. Methods: cross-sectional study conducted in eighty 5 to 13 years-old children (9±2.7 years) with disabilities, who lived in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga and conveniently selected. The life-habit scale assessment was used. Spearman's correlation coefficient was estimated (p). Results: the global scoring of social participation was 6±2.3 and of the satisfaction of the parents with their children's social participation was 3.6±0.7. The habit with the highest correlation coefficient was communication (p= 0.83) and that with the lowest coefficient was personal relationships (p= 0.44). In the global scoring, very good correlation was found between the social participation and the satisfaction of the parents with this participation (p= 0.82) Conclusions: at the time of putting forward objectives and treatments, both the social participation and the satisfaction of parents with it should be taken into consideration jointly rather than separately.

La accesibilidad a los servicios de salud, para las personas con parálisis cerebral (PC) puede estar influenciada por factores determinantes como la capacidad de los usuarios para buscar y obtener atención, la forma de organización de los servicios que garantice la atención oportuna e integral y las relaciones que se establecen entre la población, los aseguradores, las entidades territoriales y los prestadores de servicios de salud. En este aspecto, el DANE reporta que el 61% de la población con discapacidad total en Colombia no recibe tratamiento de rehabilitación por causas relacionadas con factores económicos, siendo responsabilidad del estado garantizar la salud de las personas, como derecho fundamental, dicha situación lleva al uso de recursos como la acción de tutela para conseguir los servicios que requieren

11 p., Objective: This paper aims to evaluate the perception of a university group of teachers about education as a social phenomenon. An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted with a group of university teachers in Bogota, Colombia, in October 2014. A survey was applied in order to evaluate the perception about education as a social phenomenon; the data analysis was performed using SPSS software version 19. The population studied consisted of 60 university professors with an average age of 42.2 ± 14.4 years, and with 6.15 years of teaching practice. Male gender was predominant with 53% (n = 32). There were statistically significant differences in the results related to the concept of education (p = 0.05 to 0.00) and to the following items: “Do you consider that investment in public education is enough?” (p = 0.02), “Is education a political model?” (P = 0.03); in aggregate age, “Is access to higher education conceived by the Colombian government with social concern?”, “Does the environment influence the Colombian student’s education development?” (p = 0.02 to 0.00); it was the same case for the interpretive sociology for the item “Are patterns of educational assessment adequate in the country?” (p = 0.04). In conclusion, it was found that there are differences in teachers’ conceptions about the construction of education as a social phenomenon.f education as a social phenomenon by finding differences between the conceptions of it in teaching., El objetivo del presente artículo busca evaluar la percepción de un grupo universitario de docentes frente a la educación como fenómeno social. Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal analítico con un grupo de docentes de universidad de la ciudad de Bogotá en el periodo de octubre de 2014. Se aplicó una encuesta con el fin de evaluar la percepción frente a la educación como un fenómeno social; el análisis de los datos se realizó en el programa SPSS versión 19. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por 60 docentes de universidad con un promedio de edad de 42,2 ± 14,4 años, un tiempo de ejercicio docente de 6,15 años; el género predominante fue masculino con un 53% (n = 32). Se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas para la dimensión de concepción de la educación (p = 0,05 – 0,00), y los ítems “¿Considera que la inversión en educación pública es suficiente?” (p = 0,02), “¿La educación es un modelo político?” (p = 0,03); en edad agrupada “¿El acceso a la educación superior es concebido por el estado colombiano con un enfoque social?”, “¿El entorno influye en el desarrollo educativo del estudiante colombiano?” (p = 0,02 – 0,00); igual ocurre para la sociología interpretativa para el ítem “¿Los patrones de valoración educativa son adecuados en el país?” (p = 0,04). Como conclusiones, se halló que existen diferencias entre las concepciones docentes sobre la construcción de la educación como fenómeno social.

6 p., AIM.To determine the association between gross motor function and nutritional status inchildren with cerebral palsy (CP) residing in an urban area in a developing country. METHOD.We conducted a cross-sectional study in 177 children (ages 2–12y, 59.3% male) witha diagnosis of CP who were attending rehabilitation centres in Bucaramanga, Colombia(2012–2013). A physiotherapist evaluated patients using the Gross Motor FunctionClassification System (GMFCS, levels I to V). Nutritional status was evaluated by nutritionistsand classified according to the World Health Organization growth charts. We used linear andmultinomial logistic regression methods to determine the associations. RESULTSThere were 39.5%, 6.8%, 5.6%, 16.4%, and 31.6% patients classified in levels I to Vrespectively. The mean adjusted differences for weight-for-age, height-for-age, BMI-for-age,and height-for-weight z-scores were significantly larger for children classified in levels II to Vcompared with those in level I. The children classified in levels IV and V were more likely tohave malnutrition (adjusted odds ratio [OR] 5.64; 95% confidence interval [CI] 2.27–14.0) andstunting (OR 8.42; 95% CI 2.90–24.4) than those classified in GMFCS levels I to III. INTERPRETATIONStunting and malnutrition are prevalent conditions among paediatric patientswith CP, and both are directly associated with higher levels of gross motor dysfunction.

Introducción: Se determinó la asociación entre conocimientos y actitudes frente al inicio del hábito de fumar en estudiantes universitarios. Materiales y métodos: Estudio de corte transversal realizado mediante una encuesta auto-diligenciada por 433 estudiantes seleccionados aleatoriamente entre abril y mayo de 2010. Se realizaron análisis de regresión de Poisson simple y múltiple y se calcularon las razones de prevalencia (RP) crudas y ajustadas. Resultados: Se encontró que ser hombre (RP = 1,62; IC95%: 1,21-2,18) y conocer la legislación colombiana sobre tabaco (RP = 1,75; IC95%: 1,25-2,45) aumenta la probabilidad de inicio del hábito tabáquico durante la carrera. En contraste, conocer que generalmente los fumadores mueren más jóvenes (RP = 0,72; IC95%: 0,53-0,98), que la mayoría de pacientes con cáncer de pulmón son o han sido fumadores (RP = 0,64; IC95%: 0,46-0,89) y considerar el fumar un vicio (RP = 0,58; IC95%: 0,42-0,80) o una drogodependencia (RP = 0,48; IC95%: 0,27-0,82) están asociados con menor probabilidad de inicio del hábito de fumar durante la vida universitaria. Conclusión: El conocimiento sobre los efectos de fumar disminuye el inicio de este hábito durante la carrera.Introdução: Determinou se a associação entre conhecimentos e atitudes frente ao inicio do hábito de fumar em estudantes universitários. Resultados: Encontrou se que ser homem (RP = 1,62; IC95%: 1,21-2,18) e conhecer a legislação colombiana sobre tabaco (RP = 1,75; IC95%: 1,25-2,45) aumenta a probabilidade de inicio de habito tabagismo durante os estudos universitários. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out through self-report survey in a sample of 433 students randomly selected between April and May 2010. Simple and multiple Poisson regression analysis were carried put and, crude and adjusted prevalence reasons (PR) were calculated. Results: We found that being male (PR = 1.62; 95%CI: 1.21-2.18) and knowing Colombian legislation about tobacco use (PR = 1.75; 95%CI: 1.25-2.45) increases the likelihood of smoking onset during college. In contrast, knowing that smokers generally die younger than nonsmokers (PR = 0.72; 95%CI: 0.53-0.98), that most patients with lung cancer are or have been smokers (PR = 0.64; 95%CI: 0.46-0.89), and considering smoking is a bad habit (PR = 0.58; 95%CI: 0.42-0.80) or a drug dependence (PR = 0.48; 95%CI: 0.27-0.82) are associated with lower likelihood of smoking onset during college. Conclusion: Knowledge about the effects of smoking decreases the onset of smoking during college life.

7 p., Introducción: La ausencia de instrumentos con adecuadas propiedades psicométricas adaptados para Colombia, que evalúen las barreras de acceso a los programas de rehabilitación cardiovascular justifica esta investigación. Objetivo: Determinar la validez de contenido de la Escala de Barreras para la Rehabilitación Cardiaca en población colombiana. Métodos y materiales: Se realizó un estudio de pruebas diagnósticas. En la primera fase se requiririeron dos traductores de lengua materna español y uno de lengua materna inglesa para la traducción y retrotraducción del cuestionario original. En la segunda fase se realizó la adaptación transcultural y se evaluó la validez de contenido mediante un panel de cuatro expertos con experiencia en investigación, medicina deportiva y rehabilitación cardiaca. Resultados: El instrumento fue traducido y adaptado al español colombiano. El panel de expertos decidió eliminar el ítem 18 de la escala original. El índice de validez de contenido fue aceptable para la mayoría de los ítems, excepto para los ítems 10, 15 y 18, por lo cual se realizaron modificaciones en palabras, frases o conjugaciones verbales según las recomendaciones del panel. Por otra parte, el Indice de Validez de Contenido en relevancia fue de 0,86 y en pertinencia de 0,88. Conclusión: Se cuenta con un instrumento que evalúa barreras de acceso a los programas de rehabilitación cardiovascular adaptada a población colombiana y con validez de contenido, por lo cual los resultados que se obtengan de la aplicación de la escala serán válidos. No obstante, se sugiere continuar con la evaluación de la reproducibilidad del instrumento., Introduction: This research was based on the absence of instruments with appropriate psychometric properties, adapted for Colombia, which evaluate the barriers of access to cardiovascular rehabilitation programs. Objective: To determine the validity of content of the barriers scale for the cardiac rehabilitation in Colombian population. Methods and materials: A study of diagnostic tests was done. In the first phase, two native speakers of Spanish and one of English were required to translate and retro translate the original questionnaire. In the second phase, the transcultural adaptation was done and the validity of content was assessed by a panel of four experts with experience in research, sports medicine and cardiac rehabilitation. Results: The instrument was translated and adapted to the Colombian Spanish. The panel of experts decided to remove the item 18 from the original scale. The content validity index was acceptable for the majority of the items, except for items 10, 15 and 18, where modifications were made in terms of words, phrases or conjugations according to therecommendations of the panel. On the other hand, the IVC in relevance was 0.86 and relevance of 0.88. Conclusion: There is an instrument that evaluates the barriers of access to cardiovascular rehabilitation adapted to the Colombian population programs and with content validity, so the results to be obtained from the application of the scale will be valid. However, it is suggested to continue with the evaluation of the reproducibility of the instrument.

9 p., Objetivo Determinar las características de la población con limitaciones permanentes en movilidad y autocuidado de 17 barrios del área urbana del municipio de Girón, Santander 2012-2013. Materiales y métodos Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, observacional y transversal, que utilizó el Registro para la localización y caracterización de las personas con discapacidad (RLCPD), diseñado por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE). Estudiantes de fisioterapia previamente entrenados entrevistaron a cuidadores o personas con discapacidad. Resultados Se encuestó a 189 personas, el 50,3% mujeres, el 45,5% tenía entre 60 y 100 años de edad y el 79,9% presentó alteraciones en el movimiento del cuerpo, las manos, los brazos y las piernas. En relación con las actividades y la participación, al 91% se le dificultó caminar, correr, saltar; al 41,3% llevar, mover, utilizar objetos con las manos. En las funciones corporales comprometidas, el 60,3% correspondía a movilidad. La enfermedad general fue la mayor causa de discapacidad (33,9%). Conclusiones Las personas con limitaciones permanentes en la movilidad y el autocuidado en el área urbana de Girón en un alto porcentaje son adultas mayores pertenecientes a un estrato socioeconómico. Las limitaciones en el movimiento predominantes son las de manos, brazos y piernas, teniendo afectación en al menos dos estructuras corporales., Objective To determine the characteristics of people with permanent limitations in mobility and self-care in 17 districts of the urban area of Giron, Santander 2012-2013. Materials and methods A descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study was conducted using the tool Register for the Location and characterization of the disabled people (RLCDP), designed by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE). Previously trained physiotherapy students interviewed caregivers or disabled people. Results A total of 189 people were studied of 50.3% women, and 45.5% between 60 and 100 years old. A large majority (79.9%) had alterations in body movement, hands, arms and legs. As regards activities and participation, 91% had difficult to walk, run, jump, and 41.3% found it difficult to lead, move, and use objects with hands. Of the bodily functions, 60.3% involved mobility. General illness diseases were the main cause of disability (33.9%). Conclusions A high percentage of persons with permanent mobility limitations and caring for themselves in the urban area of Girona are older adults from socioeconomic level 2. The predominant mobility limitations are in the hands, arms, and legs, with involvement in at least two body structures.

13 p., Objetivo Determinar el cumplimiento de la condición de capacidad tecnológica y científica de una muestra de servicios de terapia física y respiratoria del área urbana de Floridablanca y Bucaramanga. Metodología Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La muestra la conforman cuatro instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud del municipio de Floridablanca y tres instituciones del área urbana de Bucaramanga, a las que durante el año 2011 se les aplicaron dos encuestas para verificar el cumplimiento de los estándares de habilitación y conocer las razones por las cuales incumplen con alguno de los requisitos. Resultados En Floridablanca, tres instituciones corresponden al primer nivel de atención y una al segundo nivel de atención; los estándares con menor cumplimiento son: Seguimiento a riesgos con una mediana del puntaje de cumplimiento de 0 (Rango: 0-12); Historia Clínica asistencial con una mediana de 9,5 (Rango: 0-100) y el estándar de procesos prioritarios con una mediana de 18 (Rango: 9-27). En Bucaramanga, dos correspondían al segundo nivel de atención y una a un tercer nivel de atención. Los estándares de menor cumplimiento fueron: Medicamentos y dispositivos con 0 para una institución, Procesos prioritarios con una mediana de 60 (Rango: 0-89) e instalaciones físicas con una mediana de 73 (Rango: 64-84). Conclusiones Los resultados muestran un incumplimiento de los requisitos esenciales de habilitación, pese a que éstos son exigidos por los entes territoriales departamentales, distritales y municipales de salud., Objective To identify the achievement of the condition of technological and scientific capacity of a sample of physical therapy and respiratory services from the urban area of Floridablanca and Bucaramanga. Methodology A descriptive study was performed with a set of samples not based on probabilities out of convenience. The sample consisted of four health service provider institutions in the town of Floridablanca and three institutions from the urban area of Bucaramanga. During the year 2011, two check lists were applied in order to verify the fulfillment of standards of habilitation and to find the reasons for their non-compliance in some of their requisites. Results Three institutions in Floridablanca belong to the first level of care and one to the second level of care; the standards with the lowest fulfillments are: Risk follow-up with a median fulfillment score of 0 (Range: 0-12); Medical Records of care with a median of 9.5 (Range: 0-100) and the standard of priority procedures with a median of 18 (Range: 9-27). In Bucaramanga, two institutions belong to the second level of care and one to the third level of care. The lowest standards in fulfillment were: Medications and devices with zero for one institution, Priority procedures with a median of 60 (Range: 0-89) and physical installations with a median of 73 (Range: 64-84). Conclusions The results show a non-compliance with the essential requisites of habilitation even though these are demanded by the territorial organizations in each health department, district, and municipality.

15 p, Objetivo: Evaluar los efectos de un programa de entrenamiento funcional de músculos core dirigido a las mujeres con fibromialgia. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un ensayo cuasiexperimental de tipo antes y después de una intervención durante 20 semanas, con frecuencia de 3 días/semana y una duración de 60 minutos cada sesión. En un grupo único de 8 mujeres, se evaluaron los cambios en la fuerza muscular, dolor, calidad de vida relacionada con la salud y el nivel de actividad física. Resultados: Hubo aumento en las repeticiones de la prueba de flexión de tronco, el tiempo en las pruebas puente lateral derecho e izquierdo y puente en prono. Todas las características del dolor disminuyeron y según el S-FIQ hubo disminución en el cansancio matutino, la rigidez y la ansiedad. También los Met´s/minuto-semanas aumentaron después de la intervención. Conclusión: Estos datos sugieren que el programa de entrenamiento funcional de músculos core es eficaz en el aumento de la fuerza muscular, la modulación del dolor, la optimización de rendimiento funcional, así como el aumento de los niveles de actividad física en mujeres con fibromialgia., To evaluate the effects of a program of functional muscles core training targeting women with fibromyalgia. Materials and methods: A quasi-experimental type trial was conducted, before and after an intervention, for 20 days, often three days/week, 60 minutes each session. In a single-group of eight women, changes in muscle strength, pain, quality of life related to health and physical activity were evaluated. Results: An increase in repetitions of the test trunk flexion, time on the left and right bridge testing lateral and prone bridge the test were found. All features of pain decreased, and, according to the S-FIQ, a decrease in morning fatigue, stiffness and anxiety was reported. Also Met’s/minute-weeks increased after intervention. Materiais e métodos: realizou-se um ensaio quase-experimental de tipo antes e depois de uma intervenção durante 20 semanas, com frequência de 3 dias/semana e uma duração de 60 minutos cada sessão. Em um grupo único de 8 mulheres, avaliaram-se as mudanças na força muscular, dor, qualidade de vida relacionada com a saúde e o nível de atividade física. Resultados: houve aumento nas repetições do teste de flexão de tronco, o tempo nos testes da ponte lateral direita e esquerda e ponte em prono. Todas as características da dor diminuíram e segundo o S-FIQ houve diminuição no cansaço matutino, a rigidez e a ansiedade. Também os MET/minutos-semanas aumentaram depois da intervenção. Conclusão: estes dados sugerem que o programa de treinamento funcional de músculos do core é eficaz no aumento da força muscular, a modulação da dor, a optimização do rendimento funcional, assim como o aumento dos níveis de atividade física em mulheres com fibromialgia.
