Bu çalışmada 6. sınıf fen bilimleri ders kitabında yer alan metaforlar ve analojilerin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ile ilgili veriler, 2021-2022 yılları arasında arasında yazılan 6.sınıf fen bilimleri dersinde okutulan ders kitabındaki metaforlar ve analojilerden oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde ise betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Adı geçen kitapta araştırmacılar tarafından tespit edilen metaforlar ve analojiler alanında uzman, 24 fen bilimleri öğretmenine internet ortamında sunulmuş ve onların görüşleri neticesinde güvenirlik yüzdesi hesaplanmış ve güvenirlik oranı %70.41 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu hesaplamada Miles ve Huberman’nın güvenirlik eşitliği kullanılmış ve değer bu eşitliğe göre güvenilir bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak adı geçen kitapta metaforlar ve analojilerin çok az miktarda kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this paper, we introduce statistical bounded sets on topological vector space. Also, we give the three notions of bounded operators from topological vector spaces to ordered topological vector spaces. Moreover, we show some relations between these operators and order bounded operators. Also, we give some algebraic properties of these operators with respect to the uniform convergence topology.

2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılının başlangıcında ülkemizde ve tüm dünyada etkili olan yeni koronavirüs (Covid-19) salgını her alanda olduğu gibi eğitimi de olumsuz yönde etkilemiştir. Öğrenciler mağduriyet yaşamamaları için öğrenimlerine uzaktan eğitim sistemiyle devam etmişlerdir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, fen bilgisi öğretmenliği programında öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının Fizik-II dersini öğrenmelerinde yüz yüze ve uzaktan eğitim uygulamalarının etkisi hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, bir devlet üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesi Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Programında öğrenim gören ve Fizik-II dersini alan 27 öğretmen adayı araştırmanın katılımcılarını oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak, 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında Fizik-II dersini alan öğretmen adaylarına uygulanarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir çoğunluğu Fizik-II dersini yüz yüze eğitimle daha iyi öğrendiklerini ve Fizik-II dersinin yüz yüze verilmesinin uzaktan eğitime göre daha uygun olacağını belirtmişlerdir. Günümüzde uzaktan eğitimin önemi daha çok anlaşılmış olup, her ders bu kapsamda düşünülmese de uygun olan derslerin uzaktan eğitimle verilmesi ve üniversitelerin uzaktan eğitim merkezlerini geliştirmeleri önerilmektedir.

This work aims at studying the anxiety and motivation levels of secondary school students towards science course depending on gender, class levels, and their parents’ level of education. In addition, it was aimed to examine the relationship between students' anxiety, motivation, and academic achievement towards science course. The study relies on a relational scannig model within the context of the general scannig model. The research sample consist of 629 students who continue their education at public secondary school in Kastamonu Province, Turkey, in the 2019-2020 academic year. Anxiety Scale for Science Course, Motivation Scale for Science Learning, Personal Information Form, and science grade for the end of the first semester were used as data collection tools in the research. The data obtained from the research were analyzed using the SPSS 22 program. As a result of this study, it is found out that the secondary school students' science anxiety levels were incredibly low but, their motivation levels towards science course were high. Also, it was observed that there was a significant relationship between students’ science anxiety, science motivation and academic achievement. As to gender, it was determined that there was no significant difference between students' anxiety towards science course, and a significant difference between motivation towards science course. In addition, it was determined that students' anxiety and motivation towards science course differ significantly depending on class levels and their parents’ level of education.

The GATA transcription factor has been extensively studied for its regulatory role in various biological processes in many plant species. The functional and molecular mechanism of GATA TFs in regulating tolerance to abiotic stress has not yet been studied in the common bean, a popular and commercially important crop affected by the intensifying climate change. This study analyzed the functional identity of the GATA gene family in the P. vulgaris genome under different abiotic and phytohormonal stress. TheGATAgene family was systematically investigated in theP. vulgarisgenome, and 31PvGATATFs were identified. The collinearity between the common bean, rice, andArabidopsiswas studied, and collinearity with Arabidopsis was higher than in rice. Among the 31PvGATAs, 18 showed duplicated events, which suggests the importance of gene duplication in contribution to GATA gene expansion. Furthermore, all thePvGATAgenes were classified into four major subfamilies, with eight, three, six, and 13 members in each subfamily (subfamilies I, II, III, and IV), respectively. A single GATA domain was also present in all PvGATA protein sequences, however, members of subfamily II contained additional domains like CCT and tify domains. The study also predicted and analyzed the promoter cis-regulatory elements (CREs). A total of 799 CREs was predicted in thePvGATAs, categorized into three categories, namely growth and development regulatory elements, stress-responsive elements, and phytohormone-responsive elements. The growth and development regulatory elements had the largest share of CREs in the promoter region ofPvGATAgenes. Additionally, we used qRT-PCR to investigate the expression profiles of fivePvGATAgenes in the common bean roots under abiotic and phytohormone treatments. The results suggest thatPvGATA1/10/25/28may play crucial roles in regulating plant resistance against salt and drought stress at 24 hours and may be involved in phytohormone-mediated stress signaling pathways. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of thePvGATAgene family, which can serve as a foundation for future research on the function ofGATATfs in abiotic stress tolerance in common bean plants.

Bu araştırmada, öncelikle 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında ilk defa uygulamaya konulan Üçüncü Sınıf Fen Bilimleri Dersi Öğretim Programı’nın sınıf öğretmenleri açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Diğer bir amaç ise, üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin ilk defa karşılaştıkları fen bilimleri dersindeki kavramları öğrenme düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi ve bu öğrenci velilerinin dersin uygulanması hakkındaki görüşlerinin alınmasıdır. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda araştırmanın katılımcılarını; 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılı, İstanbul İlinin iki ilçesinde bulunan ve rastgele seçilmiş beş devlet okulunda görev yapan 25 sınıf öğretmeni, 586 üçüncü sınıf öğrencisi ve 15 öğrenci velisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, sınıf öğretmenlerine 47 maddelik Sınıf Öğretmenleri Anket Formu (SÖAF), üçüncü sınıf öğrencileri için fen bilimleri dersinde görmüş oldukları kavramları içeren 26 maddelik Fen Kavramları Bilgi Formu (FKBF) ve velilere ise çocuklarının ilk defa karşılaştıkları fen bilimleri dersinin uygulanışı ile ilgili olarak beş sorudan oluşan Yazılı Görüş Alma Formu (YGAF) uygulanarak, hem nicel hem de nitel veriler toplanmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik, nitel verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; öğretmenler kendilerine uygulanan anketin program kazanımı, konu alanı-içerik ve ölçme ve değerlendirme boyutlarına ilişkin ortalama olarak “katılıyorum” başka bir deyişle, bu boyutların uygun olduğu yönünde görüş belirtirken, anketteki öğrenme-öğretme süreci boyutuna ilişkin ise ortalama olarak “kararsızım” başka bir deyişle, programın bu boyutuna yönelik olumlu ya da olumsuz her hangi bir görüşlerinin olmadığını belirtmişlerdir. Öğrencilere uygulanan bilgi formundan elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğrencilerin %95’inin üçüncü sınıfta gördükleri fen bilimleri dersine karşı ilgili oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrenci velilerinden elde edilen bulgulara göre ise, velilerin çoğunluğu üçüncü sınıflarda fen bilimleri dersinin konulmasının çocukları için uygun olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca, fen bilimleri konularının öğretiminde laboratuvar kullanılmasının öneminden bahsetmişlerdir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, programın etkin uygulanabilmesi için okul müdürleri, alan uzmanları, fen bilimleri öğretmenleri gibi farklı katılımcıların yer aldığı ve geniş örneklemli araştırmaların yapılması önerilmektedir.

Çalışmamızda 112Sn(α,)116Te reaksiyonunun reaksiyon hızları hesaplanmıştır. Hesaplamalar için TALYS 1.95 kodları kullanılmıştır. Ek olarak, düşük enerjili bölgelerde bir reaksiyon olasılığını açıklayan astrofiziksel S faktörleri elde edildi. Hesaplamalarımızın sonuçları, EXFOR veri tabanından alınan deneysel verilere göre kontrol edildi.

Türklerin İslamiyet’e geçmesiyle başlayan edebî geleneğe genel adıyla Divan Edebiyatı veya Klasik Türk Edebiyatı denilmektedir. Bu edebiyatın daha yaygın olduğu ve geliştiği dönem, Osmanlı hâkimiyeti zamanındadır. Bu sebeple Osmanlı Edebiyatı demek de doğru ve yerinde bir ifade olarak kabul görmektedir. Hamse sahibi bir şair olarak Genceli Nizâmî, Osmanlı şairleri tarafından takip edilmiş, örnek alınmıştır. Edebî bir iddiası olan şairler kendilerini Genceli Nizâmî ile kıyaslamışlardır. Bu karşılaştırmalarda Genceli Nizâmî’ye nazaran kendilerini çoğu zaman aynı seviyede, bazen yukarıda görmüşlerdir. Büyük bir Türk şairi olması yönüyle Genceli Nizâmî’yi kendilerinden daha üstün görüp, onun açtığı edebî yolda eser vermeyi vazife edinen şairlerin varlığı da görülmektedir. Bu makalede Osmanlı şairlerinin kendileri ile Genceli Nizâmî arasında yaptıkları karşılaştırmalar ve etkilenme yönleri üzerinde durulmuştur.

The ground state properties of the nuclei are generally calculated using two different methods, namely Skyrme and Gogny force methods. We have calculated nucleon densities of Copper isotopes by using Hartree-Fock-Skyrme (using Woods-Saxon Potential) (SHF-WS), Hartree-Fock-Skyrme (using Harmonic Oscillator Potential) (SHF-HO), Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov-Skyrme (HFB-S) and the Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov-Gogny (HFB-G) methods. In the first two methods, the densities and rms (root mean square) radii for both proton and neutron of copper isotopes were calculated by different Skyrme parameters set. Theoretical calculated charge density was compared with experimental data of Angeli and Marinova to determine the best parameter set for each copper isotope. Then all evaluated nucleon densities via four different methods were compared each other. All methods gave similar results for all copper isotopes.

Bu çalışmada, 2012-2021 yılları arasında fen bilgisi, fizik, kimya, biyoloji ve matematik eğitimi alanlarında yapılmış makalelerin bilimsel haritalama tekniği ile bibliyometrik analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) veri tabanından 7556 makaleye erişilmiştir. Bu makaleler Visualization of Similarities Viewer (VOSviewer) 1.6.17.0 yazılım programı ile analiz edilmiş olup, elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda fen bilimleri ve matematik eğitimi ile ilgili makale sayısının ve bu makalelere yapılan atıf sayısının artış eğilimini sürdürdüğü tespit edilmiştir. En çok kullanılan anahtar kelimenin fen bilgisi eğitimi olduğu, en fazla çalışılan alanın eğitim ve eğitim araştırmaları olduğu ve makalelerin en çok “Sosyal Bilimler Atıf İndeksinde (SSCI)” indekslendiği tespit edilmiştir. Ortak yazarlık, karşılıklı atıf ve bibliyografik ilişki kategorilerinde hem makale sayısı hem atıf sayısı açısından en çok öne çıkan yazarın “Ingo Eilks” olduğu, birlikte atıf kategorisinde en fazla “National Research Council” olduğu belirlenmiştir. Karşılıklı atıf ve bibliyografik ilişki kategorilerinde hem makale sayısı hem de atıf sayısı bakımından en çok öne çıkan derginin “International Journal of Science Education” olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları ortak yazarlık, karşılıklı atıf ve bibliyografik ilişki kategorilerinde hem makale sayısı hem atıf sayısı kapsamında “Michigan Devlet Üniversitesi” nin fen bilgisi alanında ilk sırada yer aldığını göstermektedir. Ülkeler arasında ortak yazarlık, karşılıklı atıf ve bibliyografik ilişki kategorilerinde hem makale sayısı hem atıf sayısı kapsamında en ön plana çıkan ülkenin “Amerika Birleşik Devletleri” olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Özçelik, Nefise Dilek ( Aksaray, Yazar ), In the title compound, C24H20ClNO2, the mean planes of 4-chlorophenyl, 2-methylphenyl and phenylene rings make dihedral angles of 62.8 (2), 65.1 (3) and 15.1 (2)°, respectively, with the 5-methyl-1,2-oxazole ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by intermolecular C-H⋯N, C-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯π contacts and π-π stacking interactions between the phenylene groups. Hirshfeld surface analysis indicates that the most important contributions to the crystal packing are from H⋯H (48.7%), H⋯C/C⋯H (22.2%), Cl⋯H/H⋯Cl (8.8%), H⋯O/O⋯H (8.2%) and H⋯N/N⋯H (5.1%) interactions. © 2021 International Union of Crystallography. Bu çalışmada 7. Sınıf Fen Bilimleri Ders Kitabında yer alan kimya kavramlarına yönelik analojilerin tespit edilerek analojilerin, Analojilerle Öğretim Modeli (Teaching-With-Analogies, TWA) basamaklarına göre uygunluk durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Veri kaynağı olarak 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim döneminde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda öğrencilere ücretsiz dağıtılan 7. Sınıf Fen Bilimleri Ders Kitabı kullanılmıştır. İfade edilen kavramlara yönelik analojiler ve analojilerin TWA uygunluk durumu iki fen bilimleri uzmanın ortak görüşleri ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda 7. sınıf Fen Bilimleri Ders Kitabında kimya kavramlarına yönelik 6 analoji (atom ve çekirdeği, Dalton atom modeli, Thomson atom modeli, Rutherford atom modeli, bileşiklerin formülle gösterimi, homojen karışımlar) bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen analojiler, TWA basamaklarına göre incelendiğinde beş analojide TWA’nın ilk dört basamağı uygulanırken beşinci basamak atlanarak son basamağa geçildiği tespit edilmiş, bir analojinin ise TWA basamaklarının tamamına uygun şekilde hazırlandığı anlaşılmıştır., In the present study, it was aimed to determine the analogies for the chemistry concepts in the 7th-grade science textbook and to examine their appropriateness according to the Teaching-With-Analogies (TWA) steps. The study was conducted using the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. As a data source, the 7th-grade science textbook, which is distributed to students free of charge in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the 2020-2021 school year and published on Education and Information Network, was used. The appropriateness of the analogies according to the TWA and the analogies used to express the concepts were determined by the joint opinions of two science experts. The study revealed that there were six analogies (atom and its nucleus, Dalton’s atomic model, Thomson’s atomic model, Rutherford’s atomic model, representation of compounds by formula, homogeneous mixtures) for the concepts of chemistry in the 7th-grade science textbook. When the analogies were examined according to TWA steps, it was determined that in five analogies, the first four steps of TWA were applied, the fifth step was skipped and passed to the last step. On the other hand, an analogy was found to be prepared in accordance with all TWA steps.

This study has been prepared as a preliminary study that will guide similar studies in the future. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of argumentation-based instruction on 6th grade students’ knowledge and views about organ donation and transplantation. The study was conducted with 41 secondary school students in Turkey and a pre-test post-test single-group quasiexperimental design was used. Organ donation and transplantation was taught with argumentationbased activities for 2 weeks. The data was gathered by the open-ended questionnaire and content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. Before the application, it was observed that most of the students confused the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation and they had some misconceptions. They also had incorrect information about the necessary conditions for organ donation and organs/tissues which can be successfully transplanted. After the application, it was observed that the misconceptions decreased significantly, and argumentation-based activities raised students' awareness and willingness to donate. These findings showed that argumentationbased instruction have had a positive effect on the students’ knowledge and views about organ donation and transplantation.

Bu çalışmada, EBA platformu hakkında Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda Fen Bilimleri öğretmenlerinin görüşleri Online Anket yardımıyla alınmıştır. MEB’de görev yapan 398 Fen Bilimleri öğretmenine 11 soruluk Öğretmen Görüş Formu yönetilmiştir. “Öğretmen Görüş Formu” soruları alanında uzman 1 Öğretim üyesi, 1 Yüksek lisans mezunu Fen Bilimleri öğretmeni ve 1 Yüksek lisans yapmakta olan Fen Bilimleri öğretmeni tarafından hazırlanmış, ayrıca 1 Ölçme Değerlendirme uzmanından yardım alınmıştır. Öğretmen Görüş Formu’nuniç tutarlılık ile ilişkili güvenirlik düzeyini belirlemekiçin Cronbach Alfa değeri kullanılmış ve bu değer 0,73 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmada toplanan veriler SPSS for Windows 22.0 programı yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Bu verilerin normal dağılıma uygunluğu, çarpıklık, basıklık ve standart hata değerleri kullanılarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan adı geçen öğretmenlerin Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) Platformu Hakkındaki görüşlerini ortaya koymak için betimsel istatistikler yapılmıştır. Verilen cevapların ortalamalarından; yeterli düzeyde en yüksek ortalamaya sahip olan sorunun 4,09 ortalamayla “Öğrencilerime EBA (Eğitim Bilişim Ağı) üzerinden ödevler veriyorum” sorusu, yetersiz düzeyde ortalamaya sahip olan sorunun 2,56 ortalamayla “Diğer ülkelerde kullanılan EBA benzeri Eğitim Platformları hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahibim” sorusunun olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu saptamalar ışığında, pandemi ve benzeri süreçlerde EBA ve benzeri platformların kullanılması ve küresel işbirliğinin artırılması önerilebilir.

Endometrial carcinoma programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in tumor cells (TCs) and tumor-associated inflammatory cells (ICs) have recently been reported in several studies which vary in terms of their cohort size, design, and methodology. We aimed to assess PD-L1 staining in endometrial carcinomas and correlate this with clinical and pathological factors and PTEN, ARID1A, p53, and MMR protein expression. PD-L1 immunohistochemistry was performed on whole tissue sections of all tumor blocks of 59 consecutive unselected endometrial carcinomas between November 2018 and September 2019. TC and IC PD-L1 positivity with a 1% cut-off value was observed in 10.2% and 67.8% of cases, respectively, and with a 5% cut-off value in 3.4% and 42.4% of cases, respectively. TC PD-L1 positivity with both 1% and 5% cut-off values was significantly related to ARID1A loss (p = 0.001 and p = 0.046, respectively). IC PD-L1 positivity with 1% and 5% cut-off values and combined score were significantly associated with MMR protein deficiency (p = 0.041, p = 0.031, and p = 0.028, respectively). Advanced stage tumors exhibited more frequent PD-L1 expression in ICs (p = 0.039). MELF-type myometrial invasion pattern was more common in tumors with ARID1A loss (p = 0.047). We observed higher rates of IC PD-L1 positivity in endometrial carcinomas than documented in prior studies; this may be related to our usage of "recent" paraffin blocks and whole tissue sections of all tumor blocks. There was a much higher PD-L1 expression in the ICs compared to TCs in our cases. We confirm a previously documented association between MMR deficiency and PD-L1 expression and show a novel association between ARID1A loss and PD-L1 expression in endometrial carcinomas. ARID1A loss represents a potential biomarker of immune checkpoint inhibitor response in endometrial carcinoma.

This study aims to examine the effect of the use of activities designed by the Integral ASIE Model to learning about genetics in third grade genetics and biotechnology class of preservice science teachers and to determine the opinions of preservice teachers regarding this model and implementation period. The research was conducted with the participation of 39 preservice teachers studying at third grades of the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education at a State University in the spring semester of 2016-2017 education year. While the activities organized with the Integral ASEI Model were utilized for the preservice teachers included in the experimental group about learning genetics; the control group was explained about the project in line with the current science curriculum. According to the findings, it was concluded that the education designed according to Integral ASIE model in genetics had an effect on enhancing the academic achievement of science preservice teachers in terms of genetics. The content analysis of data obtained from semi-structured interviews applied to the preservice teachers in the experimental group support this result.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the common knowledge construction model (CKCM)-based instruction on academic achievement and 7th grade students’ views about the nature of science (NOS) presented in electrical energy unit at schools of different socio-economic levels. In accordance with this purpose, three secondary schools at different socio-economic levels (lower, middle and upper) in Kastamonu Province, Turkey, were selected. One experimental group and one control group were randomly selected from schools at each socio-economic level. The teaching interventions in all groups lasted for 6 weeks (24 class-hours). While the lessons of the experimental group were taught with the activities developed in accordance with the CKCM, the lessons of the control group were taught in compliance with the 2013 Science Curriculum. As a result of this study, it was observed that the CKCM-based instruction increased students’ level of academic achievement and ensured the permanence of the knowledge learned. In terms of academic achievement, no significant difference was observed between the schools at the lower and middle socio-economic levels and the schools at middle and upper socio-economic levels. However, a significant difference between the schools at the lower and upper socio-economic levels was observed in favor of the upper socio-economic level school. Moreover, the CKCM-based instruction had a positive effect on the students’ views on the nature of science.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 1-(4-klorofenil)-3-metil-5-{4-[(2-metilfenil)metoksi]fenil}-1H-pirazol bileşiğinin X- ışınları tek kristal kırınım yöntemi ile kristal yapısının ve Hirshfeld yüzey analizinin araştırılmasıdır. Kapalı formülü C24H21ClN2O olan bu bileşikte; 4-klorofenil, 2-metilfenil ve benzen halkaları, 3-metil-1H-pirazol halkasına göre sırasıyla 59.8 (2), 25.2 (2) ve 45.6 (2)°’ lik dihedral açılarıyla yönlenmektedirler. Moleküller, moleküler paketlemenin dengelenmesine katkıda bulunmak için moleküller arası C–H ··· π etkileşimleriyle bağlanmıştır. Ayrıca bileşikteki supramoleküler etkileşimleri doğrulamak ve ölçmek için Hirshfeld yüzey analizi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, kristal paketlemede en önemli katkıların H···H (%49.8), H···C/C···H (%27.6) ve H ··· Cl/Cl· ··H (%10.4) etkileşimlerinden kaynaklandığını göstermiştir., The aim of the present work is to explore crystal structure and hirshfeld surface analysis of 1-(4-chlorophenyl)- 3-methyl-5-{4-[(2-methylphenyl)methoxy]phenyl}-1H-pyrazole. In the title compound, C24H21ClN2O, the 4- chlorophenyl, 2-methylphenyl and benzene rings are oriented with dihedral angles of 59.8 (2), 25.2 (2) and 45.6 (2)°, respectively, with respect to the 3-methyl-1H-pyrazole ring. Molecules are linked by intermolecular C– H···π interactions to contribute to the stabilization of the molecular packing. Hirshfeld surface analysis has been used to confirm and quantify the supramolecular interactions and report that the most important contributions for the crystal packing are from H···H (49.8%) and H···C/C···H (27.6%) and H···Cl/Cl···H (10.4%) interactions.

– Bu çalışmada, Fen Lisesi Kimya Dersi Öğretim Programı kazanımları ile Lise Kimya Dersi Öğretim Program kazanımlarının Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisine göre aralarında bir farklılık olup olmadığının ve varsa hangi açılardan farklılık olduğunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Fen Lisesi Kimya Dersi kazanımlarının Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisinin bilişsel süreç boyutuna göre dağılımının %44,44’ünün anlamak, %34,08’inin çözümlemek, %8,89’unun uygulamak, %5,19’unun hatırlamak, %3,70’inin değerlendirmek ve %3,70’inin de yaratmak bilişsel süreç boyutlarından oluştuğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Adı geçen programın kazanımları Yenilenmiş Bloom Taksonomisinin bilgi boyutuna göre analiz edildiğinde ise %71,85 ile ağırlıklı dağılımın kavramsal bilgi basamağında olduğu; %13,33 ile işlemsel ve %8,89 ile olgusal bilgi basamaklarındaki kazanımların oldukça az olduğu; %5,93 ile üstbilişsel bilgi basamağındaki kazanımların da çok az olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Adı geçen programın kazanımlarının Kavramsal Bilgi boyutunda yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir. Yeni tasarlanacak ve hazırlanacak programda, işaret edilen yoğunluğun üst düzey bilgi boyutlarına kaydırılması önerilebilir.

In this work, the proton induced fission reaction cross-sections and fission yields are calculated for some actinides [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text] using the fission barrier models of the TALYS 1.95 code. Cross-sections and fission yield calculations are carried out up to 100 MeV incident proton energies. The calculation results are compared with the available experimental data in the EXFOR library. In addition, a relative variance analysis of fission barrier models was done to determine the fission barrier model whose results best matched with the experimental results. Among the fission barrier models, the best agreement with the experimental data is obtained from the rotating-finite-range fission barrier model calculation for the [Formula: see text] reaction of the studied nuclei having the atomic mass number larger than 230. On the other hand, fission barrier heights for the studied reactions are determined using the same models.

Elite concept have changed day by day, that is, democratic institutions have changed. In the context of local governments, firstly there was an elite logic based on land and lineage, and then developed an economic power based elite understanding. Subsequent democratization resulted in political elites or democratic elites. For a long time in Turkey has not been able to talk about the local elite. However, the fact that the local elections took place in a democratic environment in 1963 led to the emergence of a new power against the center and other power centers or the political transformation of the existing forces. Having a say in the political sphere has also turned into a cause of elitism. He also added a large number of groups of elites close to the elite, a group of noble, deep-rooted and rich groups who were part of the urban identity. The main objective of the study was to determine the changes that took place within the scope of law numbered 6360 and reveals the changes brought about by the law in the context of the local elite in Turkey. In doing so, the elite concept was elaborated and the historical development of the concept of political elite and its reflections were discussed. Subsequently, the status of local governments in Turkey and the size and scope of change in the local elite as a result of the law was drawn up by explaining the Law No. 6360. With the conclusion and evaluation part, the problems and solution suggestions were made by revealing the positive and negative acpects that this situation created for Turkish local democracy.

Two intramolecular N -H center dot center dot center dot O and N -H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds occur, forming S(5) and S(7) ring motifs, respectively. in the crystal, pairs of C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into inversion dimers with R-2(2)(14) ring motifs, stacked along the b-axis direction. the inversion dimers are linked by C-H center dot center dot center dot-pi and pi-pi-stacking interactions [centroid-to-centroid distances = 3.631 (2) and 3.631 (2) angstrom], forming a three-dimensional network. Two-dimensional fingerprint plots associated with the Hirshfeld surface show that the largest contributions to the crystal packing come from H center dot center dot center dot H (39.3%), C center dot center dot center dot-H/H center dot center dot center dot C (18.0%), O center dot center dot center dot H/H center dot center dot center dot O (15.6) and S center dot center dot center dot H/H center dot center dot center dot S (10.2%) interactions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of sci-ence teaching based upon the Common Knowledge Construc-tion Model (CKCM) on the conceptual understanding of 7th graders. The study was conducted with totally 42 7th graders, 22 of whom were included in the experiment group and 20 of whom were in the control group in 2016-2017 academic year. The electrical energy unit in the curriculum of 7th graders was selected in the study and it was conducted based on semi-experimental method. The Electrical Energy Unit Conceptual Understanding Test (EEUCUT) was used as the data collection tool. The data gathered in the study were analyzed via SPSS package program. A meaningful difference was revealed in favor of the post-test results between the pre-test and post-test results of the EEUCUT from the students in the experiment group where the lessons were taught according to CKCM. It is recommended that research should be conducted to use the model in different subjects of the science course in order to clarify the effect of CKCM on conceptual understanding of students., Bu araştırmanın amacı, Ortak Bilgi Yapılandırma Modeli (OBYM)’ne göre yürütülen fen öğretiminin yedinci sınıf öğ-rencilerinin kavramsal anlamalarına olan etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma, 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında deney grubunda yer alan 22 ve kontrol grubunda yer alan 20 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 42 yedinci sınıf öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, yedinci sınıf elektrik enerjisi ünitesi seçilmiştir ve yarı deneysel yönteme uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Veri topla-ma aracı olarak, Elektrik Enerjisi Ünitesi Kavramsal Anlama Testi (EEÜKAT) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veri-ler, SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Konuların OBYM’ne göre işlendiği deney grubu öğrencilerinin EEÜKAT ön-test ve son-test puan ortalamaları arasında son-test lehine anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu bulunmuştur. OBYM’nin öğrencile-rin kavramsal anlamaları üzerinde etkisinin daha net olarak ortaya çıkarılması için fen bilimleri dersinin farklı konularında modelin kullanılmasına yönelik araştırmaların yapılması öneril-mektedir.

Bireyler artık özellikle karar alma süreçlerine daha çok katılmanın yeni imkânlarını bulmuşlardır. Fakat demokrasinin mücadeleci ve aykırı yönü halkın katılımını sadece belli araçlarla sınırlamayı kabul etmemektedir. Nitekim bireyler kendilerine has yeni yöntemler geliştirmektedir. Bireylerin bu yöntemlerinin kabul edilmemesi veya dikkate alınmaması gibi bir durum söz konusu olamaz. Bu katılım yollarından biri de aykırı bahçecilik veya literatürde geçen ismi ile gerilla bahçeciliğidir.Çalışmanın temel amacı yeni bir yerel katılım yöntemi olan aykırı bahçecilik kavramını açıklamak ve Dünya’daki durumu üzerinden ele almaktır. Bu bağlamda yerel katılım ve kavramın yaşadığı değişim ele alınmış, yeni gelişen yerel katılım yöntemleri ortaya konulmuş ve Dünya’daki durum analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu aykırı yöntemin demokratik bir yöntem olarak ne ifade ettiği ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the learning approaches and models adopted in the high school chemistry curricula in several nations. The study was based on document analysis, a qualitative study method. To conclude, it was discovered that the high school chemistry curricula in Turkey, Hessiches (Germany), Québec and Saskatchewan (Canada), France, Bénin, Spain and Greece are based on “constructivism”. Even so, the curricula in Hessiches (Germany) and Spain are also based on “life-based learning”, a branch of constructivism. The findings suggest that the curriculum in France is based on “radical constructivism”, a model of constructivism. Furthermore, it was discovered that the curriculum in Bénin is based on “cognitive constructivism” and “social constructivism” whereas the ones in Québec and Saskatchewan (Canada) are based on “life-based learning”. It was also found that the idea of “constructivism” had been put into practice in the curriculum in France. Similarly, the idea of adapting “Salter’s courses”, which are known as the earliest examples of life-based learning,” had been put into action in the curriculum in Spain. Various metropolitan models have been developed to solve the problems of cities that have become crowded with urbanization. Even the historical development of the metropolitan municipalities is new in Turkey, has been subject to legal regulation many times. The latest regulation on this subject is the Law No. 6360. As stated in Law No. 6360, it is aimed to increase the efficiency and productivity of local public services as a result of the enlargement of the scale with a strong metropolitan municipal administration. In general, this goal has brought many discussions by the practitioners. Law No. 6360 includes many factors such as the passing of many powers to metropolitan municipalities and the newly formed Investment Monitoring and Coordination Department to undertake duties. This suggests that this large area is governed by a strong execution, giving the impression that the center has been moved to local and a strong structure has emerged. Today, studies at certain scales show that the villagers who have turned into neighborhoods have moved from the local to the municipalities. This situation has brought the goal of effective and efficient service delivery to a different dimension. Therefore, a new situation has been investigated. The aim of the research created in this context is to examine the new situation that emerged after Law No. 6360 in the context of the concepts of localization and centralization. In order to accomplish this aim, it will benefit from domestic and foreign sources and basic legal arrangements related to local governments in the light of literature review. In the research, the concepts of localization and centralization will be introduced in line with the main objective determined first. Later on, the historical development process of the municipality municipality and the Law No. 6360 will be examined and the research will be completed by evaluating the concepts of the Law No. 6360 in the context of centralization and localization concepts. As a result of the research, there will be an answer to the question of whether the situation that occurred after Law No. 6360 is centralized locally.

In this research, it was aimed to investigate the effect of using STEM-based activities on 7th grade students' academic achievement and their opinions about these activities in the teaching of force and energy unit. The study was conducted with 52 students randomly selected from the 7th graders who were being educated in classrooms 7-D and 7-E in a middle school located in Kastamonu Province in 2016-2017 academic year. There were 26 students in experimental and control groups. This research utilized a mixed-methods design in which both quantitative and qualitative research designs are used together is used. A semi-experimental model with pre-test/post-test control group was used from the experimental models to determine to the students' academic achievement of STEM-based activities. The results of data analysis showed that attending lessons supported by STEM-based activities resulted in significantly greater academic achievement for the experimental group compared to that of the control group. In addition, content analysis of the data obtained from STEM Opinion Form (SOF) applied only to the experimental group students was made and the STEM-based activities were integrated according to the findings to reach the conclusion that the lesson was fun and active, the interest and motivation of the lesson increased for students of experimental group. Also, the subjects were better understood by experimental group students.
