The penetration of computer technology in general education in our country started more than half a century ago. Alexander Yurievich Uvarov was among those who started the work in the field of digital renewal of education. Today he is the Doctor of Sciences (Education), Professor at the Institute of Education of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, leading researcher at the Axel Berg Institute of Cybernetics and Educational Computing of the Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the RF Government Prize in Education, long-time member of the editorial board of Informatics and Education journal. A. Yu. Uvarov made a significant contribution to the development of school informatics. His organizational activities and research largely determined the reality and future prospects for the digitalization of the national school. It is necessary to emphasize the importance and scientific significance of the research carried out by A. Yu. Uvarov.In January 2023, he turned eighty years old. The biography of this researcher, well known in Russia and abroad, reflects, as in a mirror, the half-century history of the digital renewal of the Russian school.

Abstract The general problem of creating and using encyclopedic knowledge in the digital civilization is considered. The creation and use of a digital encyclopedia are an example of intellectual activities of a collective expanded personality. The basic principles concerning the creation and functioning the “Digital ark of knowledge” at Lomonosov Moscow State University are described in the case of mathematical sciences. The arising problems and their solutions are discussed.

Diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with facial neuropathy (FN) is a significant medical problem. The aim of the work was to create, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of an internal algorithm for working with patients suffering from FN.Material and methods. The study included 53 patients: group 1 (n = 27) — treatment in the first 2 weeks from the moment of development of symptoms, group 2 (n = 11) — for more than 2 weeks to 3 months, group 3 (n = 15) — for more than 1 year. The algorithm of diagnosis and treatment were created in the N.V. Sklifosovskii Research Institute of Emergency Medical Care. It includes a multidisciplinary approach, teamwork and continuity.Results. In patients with FN diff erent genesis, at the beginning of treatment in the acute period, complete restoration of the function of the facial nerve and facial muscles occurred in 74% of cases in the period from 2 weeks to 9 months, the period depended on the severity of clinical manifestations (House–Brackmann scale) (r = 0.539, p = 0.014), the degree of nerve damage according to electroneuromyography (ENMG) (r = 0.595, p = 0.006), the severity of complications (contractures and synkinesias) (r = 0.524, p = 0.018). In patients with idiopathic FN, at the beginning of treatment in the acute period, complete recovery was observed in 81.3% of cases. At the beginning of treatment of patients with a disease period of more than a year, conservative tactics led to an improvement in 67% of cases.There was an incomplete correspondence between the clinical (House–Brackmann scale) and degree of nerve damage according to ENMG (r = 0.620, p = 0.004). ENMG should be performed when the House–Brackmann is VI degree. In cases of a decrease in the amplitude of the M-response by 90% or more compared to the healthy side, needle myography (IMG) is indicated. In the absence of motor unit potentials (PDE), it is necessary to consider the issue of surgical treatment, which is indicated in the acute period of FN to every 10 patients, and after a year in cases of lack of recovery — to every second.FN should be considered a progressive disease due to the development of complications, such as the consequences of lagophthalmos, contracture, synkinesia. Lagophthalmos occurs in 73.5% of patients with various consequences — from dry eye syndrome to corneal ulcers, so it is important to use local protective and regenerating drugs early to prevent the development of keratopathies, even with a mild degree of lagophthalmos. Hypertonus of facial muscles is formed already on the 7th day of the disease on the healthy side of the face in an average of 67% of patients, and in the absence of timely treatment — in more than 90% of patients. Synkinesia develops in the period from 4 months to a year in every fifth patient. Timely detection and correction of complications prevents their further development and leads to a complete restoration of the facial nerve function.The success of recovery in FN depends more on identifying the risks of complications and carrying out their prevention. Risk factors for the development of contractures and synkinesias are: prosoplegia, facial nerve damage by more than 90% according to ENMG and gross exercises. FN, despite the different causes of its development, clinically has similar sanogenetic mechanisms, which should be used in rehabilitation.

Background: The European criminal law system declares principles of competition and equality of parties as fundamental to ensure respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. The domestic legal system also contains these concepts, but only the principle of competition, which includes equality, is declared as a fundamental principle. Such a seemingly insignificant difference in systems causes difficulties in implementing these principles in criminal proceedings, which is shown by the example of using special knowledge in the form of expert opinion and interrogation, and those few tools for the defense that can be used for qualified opposition by the prosecution, which builds its system of evidence on the experts conclusion. Vividly, implementation contradictions in the criminal process principles of equality and competition occur with the use of one of the parties (mostly by the defense) specialized knowledge in the form of imprisonment and interrogation specialist. Aims: This study aimed to analyze the problematic issues that arise in this case. Conclusion: Results of the study show the need for practical development and greater legal significance to the institution of participation of a specialist in criminal proceedings, both directly and separately through a written opinion, which meets not only the principles of modern improvement of the implementation of constitutional guarantees for justice, court access, and obtaining professional legal assistance, but also the provisions on the right to a fair trial, provided for in art. Six conventions for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms ETS N 005 (Rome, 4 November 1950) are ratified by the Russian Federation on March 30, 1998.

The facial nerve (fn) palsy is a disease of the peripheral nervous system that leads to aesthetic, organic and functional disorders. The causes of the disease are different, the most common is the idiopathic form bell’s palsy. With a conservative approach to therapy, up to 80% of patients note the complete recovery of the lost functions of facial muscles, the others have the likelihood of severe consequences. Electroneuromyography is used to assess the risk of a negative outcome of the disease. In cases of confirmation of severe nerve damage, surgical treatment is suggested. The article presents a clinical case of complete recovery of the function of facial muscles in a patient with severe damage to the a nerve and an unfavorable prognosis. The course of the disease, complications of bell’s palsy and methods of their correction are described. Timely correct choice of treatment tactics and prevention of complications minimizes negative consequences. When working with a patient, a differentiated approach is important depending on the clinical situation.

Using a new model of the induction of radiation cystitis (RC) in rabbits, the treatment effectiveness of animals with intravesical administration of a biodegradable drug - a gel containing salts of alginic and hyaluronic acids, as well as dioxidine and lidocaine (AHDL) was assessed. The work was performed on female rabbits of the “Chinchilla” breed. Fractional irradiation of the rabbit urinary bladder was carried out by a linear photon accelerator: a single dose per fraction was 6 Gy administered daily for 5 days to a total focal dose of 30 Gy. As a result of irradiation of the bladder, the animals developed RC. AHDL-gel was injected intravesically using a catheter at a dose of 2500 mg / kg of body weight 3 times a day weekly for 2 months, starting from 1 month after irradiation. The drug had a pronounced therapeutic effect on the rabbits with RC: the values ​​of clinical and laboratory indicators of cystitis in urea and blood were reduced, it was observed regression of morphological manifestations of inflammation in the bladder mucosa.

Ovarian cancer is one of the most common diseases of the female reproductive system. The aim of this study was the investigation of the antitumor cisplatin effect on ascitic fluid tumor cells in the ovarian cancer experimental model by digital cytomorphometry and cell bioinformatic analysis. Female Wistar rats were inoculated by ovarian cancer strain. After ovarian cancer transplantation rats were divided into two groups: control group—without cisplatin treatment, the experimental group—under cisplatin treatment. The ascitic fluid was taken on the 9-th day after tumor cell inoculation. Digital cytomorphometric and cytobioinformatic analysis were used to study ascitic fluid cancer cell morphofunctional changes under cisplatin treatment. Digital cytomorphometric characteristics of rat ovarian cancer ascitic cells were obtained. Tumor cells were classified into four groups according to their geometric size: small, medium, large, “gigantic”. The algorithm and the computer program based on tumor cell morphometric characteristics were created to calculate such cell bioinformatic characteristic as information redundancy coefficient R. Three parameters were determined as the criteria of cisplatin effect on cancer cells: cell number, nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio, R-value. Data obtained suggest that cisplatin reduces the total cell number, the nuclear/cytoplasmic ratio and R-value thus indicates a decrease in cellular resistance and adaptive potential. The digital cytomorphometry and bioinformatics could be recommended as a testing system in the experimental or clinical study.

We have studied the influence of induced plastic strain on the magnetic and magnetoelastic properties of rapidly quenched wire samples with the composition Fe75Si10B15. The results demonstrate that induced plastic strain eliminates a negative ΔE-effect as a consequence of changes in magnetic structure parameters of the wire. Moreover, raising the induced plastic strain reduces the sensitivity of the magnetic parameters of the wire to the external tensile stress and the temperature in heating–cooling cycles.

The relations ‘‘between’’, ‘‘cycle’’, and ‘‘separation’’ were defined through the relation of linear order in the classical paper of Edward V. Huntington. In the current paper, the criteria for preserving these relations under injective mappings are obtained.

Early rehabilitation (ER) of patients with acute cerebrovascular accident (ACA) is one of the priority tasks of the vascular centers; the issue of increasing the volume of rehabilitation measures in the resuscitation and intensive care units (ICU) is relevant. Objective. To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the progressive ER program in patients with ACA. Material and research methods. The study included 129 patients with ACA in ICU. Each patient of the main group (MGr, n = 61) underwent progressive ER: at least 4–5 vertical adjustments per day, passive mode Kinesiotherapy 49 ± 9.3 minutes, a double load of physiotherapy exercises, preventive physiotherapy; the total time of classes reached 240 minutes per day. In the comparison group (СGr, n = 68), standard ER was performed no more than 120 minutes per day. The groups are comparable by sex, age, severity of the disease and comorbidity. The severity of ACA, the gravity gradient, patient mobility, functional status, degree of dependence, and the presence of complications were evaluated. Results. During a month of work with the MGr, 102 ICU bed-days, 94 days of the artificial lung ventilation use, p < 0.05 were saved. Mortality in MGr decreased -— 8 patients (13.1%) versus 14 (20.6%) in CGr (p < 0.05). In patients within CGr, pulmonary thromboembolism developed in 8.8%, in MGr – in 3.3%. The severity of the apoplectic attack decreased ( by 28% in MGr, and by 20% in CGr ), mobility increased. Comparing the modalities of post resuscitationsyndrome in MGr, it was noted that the score decreased by 2 times from 6 [5; 6] to 3 [2.3; 3.3], but it has not changed in the CGr. Patients in the MGr were 2-–3 days earlier adapted to the vertical adjustment. Conclusions. The progressive ER program in ICU is safe, effective, realisable, and allows reducing the number of bed-days in ICU, the number of days of the artificial lung ventilation use, complications, and mortality in comparison with standard medical care.

The article presents the model of professional translator competences related to three levels of the ‘second language personality’. The article describes the development of translator competences (communicative, extra-linguistic and specialized ones) on the basis of the well-formed competence in the basic branch of study (the student’s major). Taking stock of the earlier research that has studied the relation between thinking and speech, the authors look into the process of generating the utterance on the basis of a stable mental image that can be interpreted in other language codes. The language interpretation of a conventional familiar mental image requires communicative skills, background knowledge and practical experience. In this case the language interpretation is regarded as an analytical and synthetic process that interpolates similar mental images into the base of stereotyped utterances in a specific subject matter developed through speech experience. Practical translation skills can be built on the basis of well-developed communicative competence and enhanced specialized translator competence.The article highlights the need to introduce integrated programs that include several LSP areas, as they may facilitate the development of the specialized translator competences on the basis of the knowledge in the LSP area of the student’s major in the mother tongue and the communicative competence in the foreign language.

The features of the institute of professional liability insurance of medical workers are analyzed where, medical activity is a special object of legal regulation. Medical law has become a real phenomenon in the science of law, which is associated with the activities of the Government of the Russian Federation to carry out a large number of reforms in the health sector. However, the closed medical community introduces a number of difficulties in the development and implementation of ongoing reforms. The growth of the legal culture of the population as a whole requires the development and preparation of professional protection and support of the medical community. Based on the ongoing reforms of the health insurance system, the question of studying measures to ensure the professional responsibility of medical activities is raised particularly urgently. Given the specifics of the legal relationship, the doctor is the patient, in which the medical institution, in the conditions of which the medical services were provided, is obligatory involved in the medical institution, the right to have regressive claims in this institution if the patients claims are satisfied is quite obvious. It becomes obvious the need for professional liability insurance of medical workers, which is able to ensure financial stability not only of a medical institution, but also of every employee in the healthcare sector, and in the first place - to be a guarantee of the future for young professionals.

Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common male malignancies worldwide. In the current study, we evaluated the effects of a natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) extract of Pueraria lobata roots rich in isoflavones (ISF) and Phaffia rhodozyma extract rich in astaxanthin (ASX) on an N-methyl-N-nitrosourea plus testosterone PCa model in rats. ISF consisted of puerarin, daidzein, genistein, formononetin and other polyphenols, while ASX contained lipids and unsaturated species in addition to astaxanthin. Extracts were administered through a whole promotion period in daily doses shown by our group to successfully inhibit benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) development — 200 mg/kg for ISF and 25 mg/kg for ASX. Though a similar effect was found for BPH processes accompanying PCa induction, the incidence of PCa in animals treated with placebo, ISF and ASX was 37%, 37% and 41%, respectively, showing no chemopreventive activity of ISF and ASX. PCa development was associated with a decrease in the Ca/Mg ratio in serum and an increase in prostate tissue. Treatment with both extracts produced a normalization effect on Ca balance in serum, which, combined with a decrease in the prostatic index, suggests some positive health effects of ISF and ASX.
