The coronoid process of the ulna surrounds the distal humerus and plays a vital role in posterior dislocation and posterolateral rotational instability. Elbow stability may not be possible if there is a more than 50% loss. Anteromedial facet fractures can lead to instability, radioulnar synostosis. ulnohumeral arthrosis, severe stiffness. Therefore, surgical fixation is required to ensure adequate elbow stability and decrease the risk of posttraumatic ulnohumeral arthrosis. There are several approaches for the repair of coronoid process fractures. In most cases, the posterior approach was used to make a transosseous tunnel connecting the posterior aspect of the olecranon to fix the fracture site. During surgery, the additional dissection required to repair the coronoid might increase the infection risk, nerve injury, heterotopic ossification, and elbow stiffness. Purpose: This study examined the correlation between the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings and the progression of vertebral collapse in patients with osteoporotic vertebral fracture treated with teriparatide. Materials and Methods: Sixty patients (5 male, 55 female) who were followed-up for at least three months and diagnosed with osteoporotic vertebral fracture from January 2018 to October 2021, and treated with conservative therapies, such as bed rest and thoracolumbar-sacral orthosis, were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging soon after the fracture. The initial magnetic resonance images of the patients were reviewed retrospectively. The size of the vertebral low-intensity zone (LIZ) and fractures on the upper and lower endplates of the injured vertebrae were measured in the initial magnetic resonance imaging. Age and bone mineral density were also investigated. The correlation between the factors and the degree of progression of vertebral collapse obtained from plain radiograph imaging was studied. Results: The compression rate was increased significantly to 11.66%±7.33% in the group with the initial low-intensity zone (75%–100%) (p=0.001). The increase in compression rate was 16.33%±6.83% in the upper endplate fracture group, and 15.00%±7.07% in the upper and lower endplates fracture group, which was significantly higher than that in the absence of the endplate fracture group (p<0.001). Conclusion: In patients with osteoporotic vertebral fracture treated with teriparatide, the progression of the compression rate more likely increased when there was superior endplate fracture or superior and inferior endplate fracture and when there was a larger size of the lowintensity zone at the initial magnetic resonance imaging after fracture. Shift workers experience a disruption in the circadian sleep-wake rhythm, which brings upon adverse health effects such as fatigue, insomnia and decreased sleep quality. Moreover, shift work has deleterious effects on both work productivity and safety. In this review, we present a brief overview of the current literature on the consequences of shift work, especially focusing on attention-associated cognitive decline and related behavioral changes. We searched two electronic databases, PubMed and RISS, using key search terms related to cognitive domains, deleterious effects, and shift work. Twenty studies were eligible for the final review. The consequences of shift work can be classified into the following three categories extracted from the literature review : 1) work accidents ; 2) commuting accidents such as car accidents that occur on the way to and from work ; and 3) attendance management at work (i.e., absenteeism, tardiness, and unscheduled early departure). These cognitive and behavioral consequences of shift work were also found to be associated with sleep disorders in shift workers. Thus, improvements in the shift work system are necessary in order to enhance workers' health conditions, work productivity, and safety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, dual-polarized monopulse cassegrain antenna for W-band millimeter-wave seeker was proposed and the performances were verified by the measured results of the fabricated antenna. Dual-polarized monopulse Cassegrain antenna consists of main/subreflector, dual-polarized feed horn and monopulse comparator. The proposed feed horn has 2×2 array square waveguide feeding structure to make monopulse signals and it was designed using 90 degree rotational symmetric structure to receive dual-polarized signals. At the sum and difference channel, the measured vertical and horizontal polarization radiation pattern were similar. Measurement gains are 35.1 ㏈i for v-pol. and 35.6 ㏈i for h-pol. at the center frequency with 0.5dBi difference between each polarization and the side lobe level is below -21.6 ㏈. This paper proposes a design of W-band mm-wave wideband monopulse comparator using waveguide structure for applications. The main idea of proposed design is to combine a self-compensating phase shifter on 90° hybrid for wideband 180° hybrid. Using multiple conventional phase shifters, because of their narrow-band characteristics, tends to restrict working bandwidth of system including antennas. Proposed comparator could relieve the problem since it applies the self- compensating phase shifter. The comparator has waveguide structure so it shows excellent characteristic in loss.
