Marine plants and their co-epiphytic microorganisms are important compositions of marine organisms, and can produce many secondary metabolites with novel structures and unique activities and have various physiological and ecological functions. The Beibu Gulf is rich in marine plant species resources. According to statistics, there are 43 species of marine plants in three phyla. This paper reviews the research progress of the secondary metabolites of marine plants and their co-epiphytic microorganisms in the Beibu Gulf since 2002. A total of 59 new compounds and 35 known active compounds were obtained from 11 species of mangrove plants and seven species of co-epiphytic microorganisms, and three new compounds and seven known active compounds were obtained from three species of seagrass plants. A total of 25 new compounds and eight known active compounds were obtained from six species of algae plants and one species of co-epiphytic microorganism, which mainly involved terpenoids, alkaloids, flavonoids and sterols, most of which had good anti-bacterial, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory and enhancing the body immunity. Based on the above results, further research suggestions are put forward. The review provides a reference for further study and utilization of marine plants and their co-epiphytic microorganisms in the Beibu Gulf. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

15. 海南西海岸真红树内生细菌多样性及其延缓衰老活性研究.

- Abstract
The bacteria were isolated and purified from 46 tissues of 14 true mangrove plants used nine kinds of isolation media by dilution coating method. The bacteria were isolated from strains, and the species and genus diversities were analyzed by bacteria morphological characteristics and 16S rRNA gene sequences. The anti-aging activities of the bacteria were tested by Caenorhabditis elegans screening models. The results were as follows:(1)The 32 marine bacteria were obtained from 46 tissues of true mangrove plants without repeatitions. The 32 bacteria to comparison of 16S rRNA gene sequences which could be classified into 12 families and 17 genera. The dominant genus were Bacillus. It was discovered that a novel strain of suspected genus Aurantimonas, which 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities were less than 97%;(2)The three cultured marine bacteria could significantly delay Caenorhabditis elegans developing and had dominant anti-aging activities(P<0.05). All the above results indicate that the true mangrove plants collected from the west coast of Hainan have high species diversity and part strains are rich in anti-aging activity. - Abstract
BACKGROUND: The most common soft liners currently used in the clinic are silicone rubbers and acrylics, but both of them have deficiencies. Therefore, the development of soft lining materials with stability, excellent performance, and antibacterial properties is of important clinical significance. OBJECTIVE: To prepare a soft lining material with high elasticity on the basis of excellent characteristics of Eucommia ulmoides gum, and to preliminarily explore its water absorption and solubility. METHODS: The basic formula was made based on the existing formula of elastic Eucommia ulmoides gum and medical rubber, in combination with the specific requirements of denture lining materials. The ratio of Eucommia ulmoides to butadiene rubber was set to be 10:90, 30:70, 50:50, 70:30 and 90:10, and the new Eucommia ulmoides gum composite soft denture liners were then prepared. Acrylate self-curing soft lining material and Silagum silicone rubber denture soft lining material served as controls. Afterwards, the samples were put into distilled water or artificial saliva for 7 and 30 days, and the value of water absorption and water solubility were calculated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) In the artificial saliva for 7 and 30 days, the water absorption rate and solubility of samples in different ratio groups were close to those in the Silagum group, but extremely lower than those in the acrylate group. (2) In the distilled water for 7 and 30 days, the water absorption rate and solubility of samples in different ratio groups were close to those in the Silagum group, but extremely lower than those in the acrylate group. (3) The water absorption rate and solubility of the acrylate group were significantly higher than those in the other groups at 7 and 30 days of immersion in the artificial saliva or distilled water (P < 0.05). (4) After 7 and 30 days of immersion, the water absorption rate of the same sample in the artificial saliva was significantly lower than that in the distilled water. Wile at 7 days of immersion, the samples in the 30:70 and 50:50 groups showed a lower solubility in the artificial saliva than in the distilled water (P < 0.05), and at 30 days of immersion, the samples in the 30:70, 50:50, 70:30 and 90:10 groups showed a lower solubility in the artificial saliva than in the distilled water (P < 0.05). (5) In the artificial saliva, there was no significant difference in the solubility in the 50:50 and 70:30 groups at 7 and 30 days of immersion (P > 0.05), while the solubility in the other groups exhibited significant differences at different observational times (P < 0.05). In the distilled water, there was no significant difference in the solubility in the 10:90 and 30:70 groups at 7 and 30 days of immersion (P > 0.05), while the solubility in the other groups exhibited significant differences at different observational times (P < 0.05). To conclude, the water absorption of Eucommia ulmoides gum composite soft denture liner is close to Silagum, but significantly less than that of acrylate soft lining materials, and the solubility remains at a very low level. - Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the diversity of endophytic and rhizospheric bacteria of Ruppia maritima collected from Beihai City and antifungal activities against Penicilliosis marneffei. The endophytic and rhizosphere bacteria isolated from Ruppia maritima were analyzed by method of dilution butteron on plate. 16S rRNA gene sequencing was employed to explore species diversities and the effects of the crude extract from bacteria against Penicilliosis marneffei with agar diffusion method and spectrophotometer method. Total of 26 strains of endophytic bacteria and 31 strains of rhizosphere bacteria were isolated from Ruppia maritina. Thirteen species of endophytic bacteria were obtained and classified into twelve genera and ten families. Nineteen species of bacteria were isolated from rhizosphere and belonging to fourteen generas and nine families. And five strains in the rhizosphere were potential new genera. Crude extracts of eight strains showed inhibition effect against Penicilliosis marneffei, three of which had strong antifungal activities, and their MIC50 were(1.800 ± 0.045),(1.881 ± 0.061)and(1.604 ± 0.021)mg·mL-1. Endophytic and rhizospheric bacteria of Ruppia maritima are genetically diverse and most of them showed strong inhibition effects against Penicilliosis marneffei. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

35. C60混凝土高温后低周循环受压疲劳性能研究.

- Abstract
To study the relationship among the temperature levels to which the high strength concrete is subjected, the time the high strength concrete is heated and the low cyclic compressive fatigue damage of the high strength concrete, fatigue tests were performed on C60 concrete under low cyclic compressive loading after temperatures of 200, 500, 800℃. Tests results show that the color of high strength concrete turns lighter after high temperature, and the structure of specimen is looser. The maximum longitudinal total strain of the high strength concrete after high temperature under low cyclic compressive loading is in accordance with the three-stage development law. Compared with the stress level, the effect of high temperature process on the fatigue strain of high strength concrete is more significant, especially the influence of heating temperature. Estimation formula of fatigue life was proposed based on the second stage of strain development. Fatigue deformation modulus ratio and relative residual strain were defined as damage variables, respectively. And the relationship models between the high temperature process and the fatigue damage were established. According to the damage model established by fatigue deformation modulus ratio, the fatigue life of high strength concrete was predicted.
