Objective To observe the changes of serum inflammatory factors, gut microbiota, and short chain fatty acids in feces of mice on a high-salt diet intragastrically administered Clostridium leptum. Methods Sixteen C57BL/6 male mice were randomly divided into the experimental group and control group. Mice in both groups were fed with a highsalt diet containing 8% NaCl for 16 weeks. Mice in the experimental group were gavaged with 2 mL Clostridium leptum sus‐ pension (109 CFU/mL) every other day, while mice in the control group were gavaged with 2 mL ultrapure water every oth‐ er day. Serum interleukin (IL) -1B, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were detected by the ELISA. The fresh fe‐ cal samples were collected from mice for 16S rDNA high-throughput sequencing and short-chain fatty acids quantification. Results The serum levels of IL-1B, IL-6, and TNF-α in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0. 05). The results of gut microbiota α-diversity and β-diversity analysis showed that the structure and diversity of gut microbiota in the experimental group significantly different from those in the control group. Compared with the control group, the relative abundance of Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria in the experimental group increased, while the relative abundance of Firmicutes and Verrucobacteria decreased (all P<0. 05). At the species level, the Lactobacillus was significantly enriched in the experimental group, while the opportunistic pathogens such as Staphylococcus xylose and Staphylococcus lentus were significantly enriched in the control group. The concentrations of propionic acid, butyric acid and caproic acid in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (all P<0. 05). Conclusion Clostridium leptum could reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors, change the structure of gut microbiota and affect the metabolism of short chain fatty acids in the mice on a high-salt diet. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the economy of Xianyu capsules in the treatment of epilepsy. METHODS: Based on a published randomized controlled trial, the decision tree model of treating epilepsy with Xianyu capsules combined with Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets was constructed from the perspective of health system. The reduction rate of epilepsy before and after treatment was taken as the effect index, and the cost parameters were calculated based on the drug cost and the annual outpatient treatment cost of disease treatment. The economy of Xianyu capsules combined with Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets compared with magnesium valproate sustainedrelease tablets alone in the treatment of patients with epilepsy was evaluated. Sensitivity analysis was used to verify the robustness of the results. RESULTS: The cost-effectiveness analysis showed that after 60 d of treatment, the treatment regimen of Xianyu capsules combined with Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets could significantly reduce the number of epilepsy. The treatment cost of Xianyu capsules combined with Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets was higher than that of magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets alone, and the effective output was also higher than that of Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets alone. The incremental cost-effectiveness ratio was 7 051. 79 yuan, about 0. 22 times of the per capita disposable income of China in 2020. Sensitivity analysis showed that the results of this study were relatively stable. CONCLUSIONS: The willingness to pay threshold of the patients in this study is the per capita disposable income of China in 2020. Under this assumption, Xianyu capsules combined with Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets is more economical than Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets alone. Economic evaluation of Xianyu capsules in the treatment of epilepsy is conducive to rational allocation of medical resources and rational use of drugs by clinicians and patients. In order to improve the photocatalytic activity and practical use of titanium dioxide, the titanium dioxide/graphene aerogel（TGA） was prepared successfully by a mixture of sol-gel and solvothermal method. The obtained materials were characterized by SEM, XRD, FT-IR, BET analysis, etc. The influence of the amount of graphene on the photocatalytic activity of the material was investigated. The methylene blue（MB） was used as the simulated pollutant to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the prepared materials. The results showed that when the amount of graphene was 30% of TiO2 the obtained material exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity and good reusability, with a degradation of 99.5% of MB after exposure to 500 W xenon light for 120 min. In this study, the 3D structure of graphene aerogel inhibited the agglomeration of TiO2 nanoparticles effectively and the preparation process was environmentally friendly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of high-salt diet (HSD) on cognitive function of mice and to explore whether it is related to the disorders of gut microbiota. Methods Twenty C57BL/6 male mice were randomly divided into two groups：the ND group (n=10) and the HSD group (n=10) . The mice in the ND group were fed with ordinary maintenance fodder, and the mice in the HSD group were fed with high-salt fodder. They both were treated for 16 weeks. The cognitive function of mice was tested via Y maze and novel object recognition test, respectively, and we recorded the spontaneous response rate and preference rate data. Then fecal samples were collected for the total bacterial RNA extraction and 16S rDNA V4 fragment amplification by PCR method. We analyzed the differences of microbial composition between two groups by high-throughput sequencing. The relative expression levels of synaptophysin (SYP) mRNA in the brain tissues of two groups were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR method. Results The mice in the HSD group had significantly lower rate of spontaneous reaction and preference in both Y maze and novel object recognition test, as well as lower levels of SYP expression in brain tissues as compared with those of the ND group (all P<0. 05), and there were no significant differences in OTU number or α-diversity which included four indexes, Ace, Chao1, Shannon and Simpson, rspectively, between these two groups (all P>0. 05) . In the level of phylum, there were no significant differences in the the relative abundances of Birmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, or Actinobacteria between these two groups (all P> 0. 05) . In the level of species, the relative abundances of Akkermansia muciniphila, Bacillus acidifaciens and Faecalibaculum rodentium were higher, while the relative abundance of Clostridium leptum was lower in the HSD group than in the ND group (all P<0. 05. BACKGROUND: Under well-controlled conditions, changes in myoelectric signal activity can largely reflect muscle changes such as muscle function, muscle tension, muscle strength, and multi-muscle coordination, providing objective analysis of the muscle function. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the changes in surface electromyography (SEMG) of the lower limb muscles in cerebral palsy children standing or walking on tiptoes.METHODS: Using TELEMYO 2400R G2 SEMG telemeter produced by NORAXON Company in the United States, surface EMG features of bilateral anterior tibial muscles and medial gastrocnemius muscles were detected in 20 cerebral palsy children standing or walking on unilateral tiptoes. The myoelectric activity of the testicular muscles between the pointed and contralateral side was compared in all the subjects. The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, and all subjects and their guardians signed an informed consent prior to the participation in the study.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:When the subjects were standing and walking normally, the average SEMG amplitude and average SEMG integral of the medial gastrocnemius at the tiptoe side were significantly lower than those at the contralateral side (P < 0.05); the mean and median frequencies of the anterior tibial muscles and medial gastrocnemius muscles at the tiptoe side were significantly higher than those at the contralateral side (P < 0.05). These findings indicate that there are abnormal SEMG signals in the anterior tibial muscles and medial gastrocnemius muscles at the tiptoe side in children with cerebral palsy, and the muscle activity of the lower limbs in such children is not balanced.
