[ Objective J In order to provide reference for the development and utilization of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang, amino acids in flowers of 6 species of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang were analyzed and evaluated. [ Method] The contents of 17 kinds of amino acids in blooming flowe111 of' 6 species of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang wen: determined and evaluated comprehensively by referring WHO/F AO standard mode spectrum and the method of ratio coefficient, and principal component analysis of amino acid was conducted. [ Result J All the 6 species of' Cam'1llia sect. Chrysantha Chang flowers samples contained 17 kinds of amino acids( including 7 kinds essential amino acids for human). The total amount of amino acids was 3. 73 - 5. 93 g/100g. The contents of glutamic acid and isoleucine acid were relatively high, while those of leucine acid and valine acid were relatively low. There was no significant difference on the content of arginine acid and valine acid in the flowers among 6 species of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang( P > 0. 05, the same as below), but the contents of other 15 kinds of amino acids was highly significant difference( P < 0. 01 ) . Except methionine acid and leucine acid, the contents of' other amino acids, total amino acids, essential amino acids, nonessential amino acids, medicinal amino acids and delicious amino acids were all at the highest or higher level in the flowers of C xiasheinsis. Principal component analysis showed that the evaluation of amino acids in the flowers of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang was not determined by one or several amino acid indexes, it was determined by the comprehensive evaluation of all amino acid indexes. From high to low, the amino acid ratio coefficient ( SRC) values in the flowers of aix species of Camellia sect. Chrysantha. Chang were: C. insulari > C. rosmanni > C. longzhouensis., > C. euphlebia > C. xiasheinsis. > C. [ Conclusion The content of amino acids in the flowers of 6 species of Camellia sect. Chrysantha Chang were complete and rich but different among varieties, the nutritional value of among acids in C. insularis flowers was the highest. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The research aimed to explore the effects of different treatments on rooting of Camellia azalea hard-wood cutting. Using the one-year-old hardwood of Camellia azalea as cutting materials, the influences of different factors, including cutting mediums, application of IBA and NAA, cutting collection positions and leaf-retention on cutting rooting rate were studied. The results were shown as follows; the different cutting medium presented had a significantly different effects on cutting rooting rate, callus rate, root length, and root number, and the rooting rate was up to 76. 67 % on the mixed medium (Vperlite : Vcoir = 1:1) with cuttings soaked in 300 mg/L IBA + 300 mg/L NAA for 3 hours. Different IBA concentration and cuttings soaking time significantly affected the rooting rate. Different NAA concentration had no significant effect on the rooting rate. The highest rooting rate (80.56 %) came from the treatment by 400 mg/L IBA + 100 mg/L NAA for 3 hours soaking. In terms of the cutting rooting rate, cuttings from the basal section of branches and 2. 5 leaves left was preferred for C. azalea hardwood cutting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To investigate the soil properties and the influence factors of yield of jasmine in the continuous cropping field in Heng County and find out an effective soil improvement to provide the technical support for low yield farmland，investigation of the soil physical and chemical properties which was continuous cropping of jasmine more than 10 years to selected soil improvement program and analyzed the correlativity between the soil properties and the jasmine yield. The results showed that the pH of the investigated soil was from 3. 82 to 4. 87，and the soil bulk density was from 1. 48 to 1. 45 g/cm3，soil organic matter and available nitrogen content were low， and rapidly available phosphorus and rapidly available potassium were high. The weight of one hundred flowers had a significantly positive correlation with pH and electrical conductivity. There was a negative correlation between pH and electrical conductivity. Electrical conductivity had a significantly positive correlation with rapidly available potassium. Soil bulk density had a significant negative correlation with capillary moisture content，and had a highly significant negative correlation with rapidly available phosphorus. Combining the output and the improved effect on soil，the best program was A1B2C2，which could increased 0. 31 units in the soil pH and 3. 00 g/kg in organic matter，and raised of 5. 46 percent in the saturated water content and 4. 50 percent in the total soil porosity，with decrease of 0 • 11 g/cm3 in the bulk densities，the weight of flowers reached to 33. 50 g.
