This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director. Specifically, by analyzing the current state, the level of work in kindergartens in the sense of ensuring cooperation with SPC, PPP, clinical speech therapist, further education of pedagogical staff with a focus on speech therapy assistant. It also investigates the possibilities of obtaining funds for aids for children with speech disorders and subsequently also wages for DVPP, or for possible cooperation with a clinical speech therapist directly in kindergarten. What motivational methods does the director choose for the active approach of teaching staff, whether he sees this area as crucial and is ready to make possible changes for it. The content of the practical part of the thesis is the analysis of research survey data, when the method of qualitative research was chosen, in the form of a semi-structured interview with two directors of selected nursery schools. This diploma thesis is focused on the position on headmaster and the relations between the teachers. The thesis has been devided into several chapters and subchapters. In the theoretical basis of this thesis there are the main basic concepts explained as school, culture of the school, headmaster, personality of the headmaster, vision of the school, concepts of leaderships and management. The main goal of this diploma thesis is an analysis and description of quality of the relations of teachers stuff. Secondary, the thesis approaches following questions: What kind of leadership has been applied at the chosen school? How and to what extent can the headmaster influence relations in the teachers stuff? How do the teachers perceive the personality of the headmaster? An analysis of questionnaires and interview are the main methods used to answer these questions. The final results of this research have been summarized in the conclusion. The dissertation deals with the conceptualization of the model of the departmental school as a way of realization of managerial practices of students of the study programme School Management at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The aim of the dissertation is to propose a concept of transferring specific knowledge and experience of secondary school principals by appropriate methods at management practices implemented in departmental schools to students of the study programme School Management, usable to transform their knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of teaching into skills applicable in practice in the school field. The Bachelor's thesis "Inclusive education from the perspective of management staff" focuses on the approach and methods of management to inclusive education in high school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part examines the development of inclusive education in the Czech republic and the theoretical application of inclusive education in czech schools from the point of view of management. The practical part contains interviews with the management staff of schools where inclusive education has been implemented and an analysis of these interviews.

This master's thesis will try to explore the views of head teachers on their involvement in specific level of government and politics. The theoretical chapter will cover the management of the Czech school with emphasis on the changes of expectations (societal and political) on head teachers and a political influence of the regional's level on this head position and their two-way relation. The research chapters analyses and compares the statements of head teachers involved in local politics with the statements of those, who are not involved. The main sources were in-depth interviews lead by the author of this thesis with several head teachers, it is therefore based on qualitative research which is attempting to get to the core of the origin of their views on this topic. This bachelor's thesis is aimed to learn how particular external sources of feedback affect the work of a headmaster in particular schools of the Liberec Region. We paid attention primarily to the external sources of feedback that may affect educational process. So we paid the most attention not only to the external sources providing external evaluation, such as the Czech School Inspectorate, school authorities, but also to sources providing information from national and international examinations in the measurement of students' education outcomes, or external sources providing results of unified entrance exams and school leaving exams. Research investigation had the character of qualitative research the main method of which was an interview which was subsequently transcribed into protocols and which was further analyzed, interpreted, and evaluated. The diploma thesis deals with a specific area in school management, namely the influence of the founder on the quality of the school. The basic content of this work is the relationship between the founder and the school and the influence of the founder on the quality of the school according to the criteria of a quality school of the Czech School Inspectorate. The work, based on the sources of work, defines the basic and related concepts with the management of the school, describes the differences in the management of the school with regard to its founder. Specifically, it monitors a public school, where the founder is a municipality, and a church school, where the founder is a church legal entity of a registered church, as the schools of these founders are the subject of research. The thesis describes the criteria of a quality school of the Czech School Inspectorate and also presents documents that regulate the relationship between the founder and the school principal and set requirements for the quality of the school abroad, specifically in the Slovak Republic. 1 One-tier organisational structure of Czech joint-stock companies and British public limited companies Abstract This thesis deals with selected issues of one-tier board structure of a joint-stock company in the Czech and British legislation. The emphasis is placed on the position and regulation of the Board of directors, its members, shareholders, and their mutual relationship. Not only has the present legal regulation been monitored, but also its historical roots, which significantly influenced the evolution of the institute and its present form. The first chapter deals with corporate governance. It includes all aspects and theories, which as a whole have completed the position of a shareholder as well as a joint-stock company itself. Moreover, diffuse and concentrated ownership is explained, as well as separation of ownership of the company from its management, and the related "principal"-"agent" problem. Also, the basic characteristics of Anglo-Saxon and continental approach to the law have been reflected. The thesis deals with the issue of strategic management in the work of the school head. In the theoretical part, we identify the position of the school head in terms of the prerequisites for managerial management and define the possibilities of his education. 1 Abstract The equity-based incentives are considered to be one of the instruments helping to motivate executives. The use of this compensation framework should in theory tackle and mitigate the agency problems, and prevent the possible attempts of managers to pursue their own interest over the interests of shareholders. The literature focusing on the effects differs greatly. There is no conformity over the effect of equity compensation on company performance. This research study the effect of CEO-related equity incentives and stock ownership on company performance. The main finding is the positive effect of the equity incentives measured by the percentage of CEOs' equity- based compensation on company performance proxied by the change in Tobin's Q. The thesis does not find any significant effect of insiders' stock ownership. The dataset of 107 publicly traded US companies is used for the empirical analysis. The results are estimated based on a fixed effects model and pooled ordinary least squares. This thesis contributes to the ongoing debate over the effects. It also widens the narrow literature on the structure of compensation. This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of theoretical knowledge in the day-to-day decision-making process of the headmaster in the Czech Republic and Belarus based on the study of the information obtained. To find out what competences the founder has in relation to a kindergarten, in which spheres the founder cooperates with a director. The influence of the founders of public primary schools in small municipalities on the educational direction of the school Author: Bc. et Bc. Vojtěch Bílý ABSTRACT The thesis deals with the possible influence of founders of public primary school on the educational direction of the school. Although the law does not allow the direct influence of the founders on the management of the pedagogical process, there are a number of instruments by which the founders indirectly seek to apply their influence. In this work we first define the field of research, the state of the current knowledge of the subject and the basic concepts, and then we analyze the ways in which the founders use the influence, what pressure the school heads perceive and to what extent they are subject to it. In the practical part, we focus on primary schools in the Olomouc region in municipalities up to 5000 inhabitants where there is a prerequisite for the existence of only one school and there is usually a closer link between the school head and the mayor of the municipality. The thesis deals with the influence of parents on the pedagogical direction of elementary school. Its aim is to find out what options to influence the pedagogical direction of elementary school parents currently have and how they make use of them. The work is divided into theoretical and research parts. The theoretical background is based on an analysis of texts and presents experiences and knowledge relating to this issue. Theoretical bases provide an overview of factors, which influence the pedagogical direction of elementary school and what role the parents can play in this process. The research part presents and evaluates the results of the research conducted at four elementary schools in Prague 12. The research method for data collection was an interview with the headmaster of these elementary schools and a questionnaire for parents of pupils. Proposed recommendations for the schools, which participated in the research, are based on the survey results and on the answers of the research questions. Their implementation into practice could facilitate the influence of parents in the pedagogical direction of the school. The thesis deals with the exploration and deeper understanding of the problems of relations personality typology and style of management of executives in the Czech education system, ie directors, from the perspective of self-concept. The purpose is to ascertain existence of a relationship between personality characteristics and the manner of school management. What typology director of the Czech education system can be considered effective in relation to the management of educational institutions such as the Czech school and whether this environment calls for a new, own typology. Based on the theoretical background and knowledge dealing with the personality and different theories about its typology, managerial approach to the school principal in the Czech Republic, management styles, the typology of the existence of related areas. The survey will be a combination of forms, in the form of a questionnaire in the form of semi-structured interviews. The basic research sample are directors of art schools of the Czech Republic.

The aim of this thesis is to assess the contribution of the career system of Slovak teachers from the perspective of school principals. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the career system based on a literature research. Firstly, preconditions of the career system are defined. Secondly, the career system is described in detail, followed by its evaluation and comparison with the upcoming Czech career system. The practical part describes the used qualitative methods and approaches and includes findings from the field research. A multiple conn-Dove study was used to solve the research problem, in which the case is represented by ten principals from various schools. Semi-structured interviews with school principals, observing their interactions and document analysis were used for data collection. The result of the research was to create ten idiographic reports reflecting school principals' practical experience with the career system. Findings show significant dissatisfaction among school principals with the conception and implementation of the career system due to the administrative complexity of the system, its formalism, the lack of resources in the system and the lack of provided methodological support to school principals. The objective of the thesis is an analysis, description and subsequent comparison of different aspects in relationships between the founders and the headmasters of primary schools, and subsequently a presentation of possible differences and similarities in these relationships in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia, in both legal and non-legal framework; and a description of the real situation of these relationships more than 20 years after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. The starting point for the research are relevant legal regulations, such as acts of parliament, delegated legislation and specific legal and other documents concerning founders of private and denominational schools. The Czech and Slovak educational systems had the same development since the foundation of Czechoslovakia in 1918. After the dissolution of Czechoslovak federation the development and changes in Czech and Slovak educational systems had a different, separate development. The relationship between the school founder and its headmaster has significant influence on the school activities and direction. The thesis describes similarities and differences in these relationships in both countries and points out possibilities for mutual inspirations.

Pracovní podmínky ve školství vykazují v celé řadě bodů společný charakter a úpravu s pracovními podmínkami jakýchkoliv jiných zaměstnanců. Specifická pravidla vyplývají na povrch tam, kde je třeba respektovat zvláštní povahu činnosti zaměstnanců ve školství, a to navíc s ohledem na zajištění agendy škol a školských zařízení soukromými školami, resp. školami, jejichž náklady na provoz jsou plně hrazeny z veřejných rozpočtů. Od běžných zaměstnanců soukromého sektoru se budou pedagogičtí zaměstnanci lišit např. výší zákonné dovolené, rozsahem pracovní doby, po kterou jsou povinni vykonávat aktivně přímou pedagogickou činnosti, popř. stanovením výše odměny za práci (dle platových tabulek - vyjma soukromé školství). Komplex pracovních podmínek se může lišit v případě, kdy se jedná o veřejné školství (zaměstnanci odměňovaní platem), nebo o soukromé školství (zaměstnanci odměňovaní mzdou). Finanční stránka je však v obou případech podstatná pro vytvoření pracovního prostředí i vhodných a motivačních pracovních podmínek. Při zamyšlení nad specifičností oblasti školství, s ohledem na různé pracovní podmínky, krystalizuje jako základní prvek pracovních podmínek finanční agenda, resp. financování a prostředky na platy a další benefity. Vzhledem k tomu, že právo na vzdělání osob realizuj stát především prostřednictvím veřejného školství, má finanční - rozpočtová stránka věci kruciální význam. Bez dostatečného finančního zajištění by nebylo myslitelné nejen zlepšovat základní podmínky odměňování zaměstnanců, a tím zvyšování atraktivnosti školství pro zaměstnance, tak i možnost poskytování dalších benefitů. Vzhledem k dlouhodobě nízkému objemu finančních prostředků ve školství, musí být vhodně zvažováno především optimální nastavení odměňovacího systému. Working conditions in the area of education, in many aspects, are similar to working conditions of employees in other areas. Nevertheless, there are moments when particular aspects of work of employees in the area of education need to be taken into consideration bearing in mind the specific agenda of schools, both private and public whose expenses are covered by public sources. These aspects that differentiate employees in the field of education from any other employees are e.g. holiday allowance, working hours, remuneration, etc. The working conditions can differ in public schools sector (salary) and in private schools sector (wages). Finances represent a very important aspect playing a substantial role in creating a good and incentive working environment. Financial agenda, i.e. financial sources, salaries, and other benefits, seem to be the most important element of working conditions in the area of education. The state ensures the right to education mostly through public schools, therefore, financial and budget aspects are of crucial importance. Making work in the area of education more attractive for (prospective) employees and providing further benefits would not be conceivable without sufficient financial sources. Given a long-term limited budget in education, remuneration appears to play an essential part in the working conditions of employees in education.

Autonomy of directors and teachers in the current Chinese educational system Mgr. Radana Wagenknechtová 2015 ABSTRACT This thesis looks at the Chinese educational system and the autonomy that directors and teachers share in the decision making process. It not only examines the educational system as a whole but analyses different levels of the educational system, puts an emphasis on the autonomy of teachers and directors in a school environment, and introduces various school reforms in China since 1976. Consequently, it clarifies the current Chinese educational system with an emphasis on various organizational levels along with the power they have in the decision making process and the options for creating change. Through the study of key documents of the Chinese educational system, political system, and other foreign literature, the legislative processes and documents that are responsible for the Chinese educational policies are made apparent. The thesis compares the official Chinese educational system's documents and processes with the actual situation. Based on this research, the thesis determines the real level of autonomy that directors and teachers possess in the decision making process.
