Nanofluids are implementable in a variety of applications, such as heat exchangers, the healthcare sector, the cooling of various devices, hybrid-powered machines, microelectronics, power plants, chemical processes, astronomical technology, cancer treatment, etc. Nanofluids also have enhanced heat transmission and thermal efficiency. The heat radiation of nanoparticles and the natural-convective flow of electrically conducting nanofluids over the rotating disk using Darcy Forchheimer's porous media, thermal radiation is investigated in this paper. The nanoparticles titanium dioxide and single-walled carbon nanotubes are taken into account with base fluid water. The main goal of this investigation is to enhance heat transfer in nanofluids. The mathematical solution for the model has been obtained through the utilization of cylindrical coordinates. The flow model, which forms the basis of the investigation, is constructed around partial differential equations (PDEs). To address the inherent nonlinearity of these PDEs, physical similarities are employed to transform them into ordinary differential equations (ODEs). Subsequently, the fourth-order Runge–Kutta technique is employed via Matlab to solve these ODEs. The graphical examination of the velocities and temperature with various parameters is an exquisite display of scientific artistry. The magnetic field component is anticipated to exhibit an inverse correlation with velocities, while the temperature profile is expected to surge with the rise of the nonlinear mixed convection parameter. Additionally, the skin friction and Nusselt number are meticulously computed and presented in a tabular format, adding a touch of elegance to the already breathtaking analysis. Breast cancer ranks among the most prevalent malignancies affecting the female population and is a prominent contributor to cancer-related mortality. Mathematical modeling is a significant tool that can be employed to comprehend the dynamics of breast cancer progression and dissemination and to formulate novel therapeutic approaches. This paper introduces a mathematical model of breast cancer that utilizes the Caputo–Fabrizio fractal-fractional derivative. The aim is to elucidate and comprehend the intricate dynamics governing breast cancer cells and cytotoxic T lymphocytes in the context of the fractional derivative. The derivative presented herein offers a broader perspective than the conventional derivative, as it incorporates the intricate fractal characteristics inherent in the process of tumor proliferation. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to a novel mathematical model for breast cancer, which incorporates the fractal characteristics of tumor development. The present model possesses the capability to investigate the impacts of diverse treatment strategies on the proliferation of breast cancer, as well as to formulate novel treatment strategies that exhibit enhanced efficacy. Phenanthrene fluorescence quenching in anionic micellar system of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) was explored for the development of a sensitive and selective method for a group of selected aldehydes (2,6-dichlorobenzaldehyde, 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde, 4-aminobenzaldehyde, 4-nitrobenzaldehyde, 2-chlorobenzaldehyde, benzaldehyde and 2-methoxybenzaldehyde). Experiments were performed in 0.02 mol L− 1 SDS. All the studied aldehydes quenched the fluorescence intensity of the probe (phenanthrene). Stern-Volmer equation was useful in explaining the phenanthrene quenching by the studied aldehydes. Stern-Volmer constants () were obtained as a result of using the Stern-Volmer equation that gives the information in respect of sensitivity of the method for the studied aldehydes. Greater the higher will be the sensitivity and vice versa. , detection limit (DL) and quantification limit (QL) were observed in the order 2,6-dichlorobenzaldehyde > 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde > 4-aminobenzaldehyde > 4-nitrobenzaldehyde > 2-chlorobenzaldehyde > benzaldehyde > 2-methoxybenzaldehyde. Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV) is a satellite virus of hepatitis B virus (HBV) as HDV relies on hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) for viral development and release from hepatocytes. It causes the most severe viral hepatitis and suppresses the serological and molecular markers of HBV infections; for example, Hepatitis B envelope antigen (HBeAg), inhibition and reduction of HBV DNA titer during HDV infections. Very few studies described the clampdown of HBV-related markers during HDV replication and the current study is the only report from Pakistani perspective. The objective of this study is to find the interference of HDV in HBV replication, both in HBV chronic active and inactive state patients from four different a Pakistani provinces. Blood samples along with patient history and demographic data were collected from 100 (n=100) patients, all of these were positive for HBsAg (further characterized as acute or chronic hepatitis B). Viral titer was quantified from the HBsAg positive samples by real time-PCR, HBeAg by ELISA, and HDV RNA was detected by nested PCR and sequencing. HBV DNA was detected in 58% of the samples. The quantification of viral load revealed chronic active HBV infection at 11% and chronic inactive HBV infection as 63%. HDV RNA was present in 41.2 % of inactive chronic HBV carriers and only 18.1% in active HBV-infected patients. I has been observed that the presence of HDV infection may suppress the HBV replication and convert it into an inactive state and the overall prevalence of HDV in Pakistan is 35% in HBV-positive patients. Endothelial dysfunction (ED) is a significant risk factor of blood vessel related diseases of diabetes and this study evaluate the effect of adding Momordica charantia (Mc) to glibenclamide (GLB) on ED markers in diabetic rats. Streptozotocin (STZ-40mg/kg b. w.) induced diabetic rats were randomly put into 3 groups with 10 rats/group; diabetic control [DC] group, glibenclamide treated group (GLB -2.5mg/kg) and GLB-Mc treated group (2.5mg/kg + 400mg/kg). Serum glucose was measured weekly for eight weeks whereas insulin, sVCAM-1, vWF-Ag and interleukin-6 [IL-6] were measured at week0 and week8. Luciferase assay was performed to determine luminescence. At week8, GLB and GLB-Mc groups revealed improvements in blood glucose and insulin concentrations (P≤0.05) when compared to corresponding baseline values with GLB-Mc group showing slightly greater improvements. GLB-M c group also revealed improvement (P≤0.05) in vWF-Ag, sVCAM-1 and IL-6 concentrations but was non-significant in GLB group when compared to corresponding baseline values. Comparison between GLB and GLB-Mc group showed significantly high concentration of sVCAM-1 in GLB group (P≤0.05) due to its minimal effect on TGR5 activation. We conclude that adding M. charantia to GLB may be a useful choice for modulating diabetes induced ED due to its stimulatory effect on TGR5 receptors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
