The communication of cells, persistent viruses and their defectives such as mobile genetic elements and RNA networks ensures both the transport of regulatory instructions and the reprogramming of these instructions. But how are the different states of the epigenome orchestrated? The epigenetic pathways respond to various signaling cues such as DNA methylation, histone variants, histone modifications, chromatin structure, nucleosome remodeling, and epigenetic interactions. The annual Computational Neuroscience Meeting (CNS) began in 1990 as a small workshop called Analysis and Modeling of Neural Systems. The goal of the workshop was to explore the boundary between neuroscience and computation. Riding on the success of several seminal papers, physicists had made'Neural Networks'fashionable, and soon the quantitative methods used in these abstract model networks started permeating the methods and ideas of experimental neuroscientists. Although experimental neurophysiological approaches provided many advances, it became increasingly evident that mathematical and computational techniques would be required to achieve a comprehensive and quantitative understanding of neural system function. “Computational Neuroscience” emerged to complement experimental neurophysiology. The Encyclopedia of Computational Neuroscience, published in conjunction with the Organization for Computational Neuroscience, will be an extensive reference work consultable by both researchers and graduate level students. It will be a dynamic, living reference, updatable and containing linkouts and multimedia content whenever relevant.

Rapidly developing technology also gives direction to our lives in the field of health and medicine. New developments are taking both diagnosis and treatment possibilities to places we could not predict before. The development of tissues and organs in a laboratory environment is one of these developments. This issue, which came to the fore with the introduction of 3D printers into our lives, has now started to mature and experiment in the field of medicine. Using a technology similar to 3D printing that fundamentally changes therapeutic possibilities, bioprinting uses a digital file as a blueprint to produce biomedical parts that closely mimic the properties of natural tissue. Engineered textures are created by layering biomaterials and/or living cells, collectively called bioinks. Transplanting the tissues or organs obtained to the needy patient also prevents possible undesirable situations such as tissue and organ rejection. La loro previsione rende plausibile supporre la disponibilità nella procedura arcaica di un'actio idonea a tutelare l'accordo di vendita e di conseguenza apre una prospettiva di ricerca forse in grado di superare le criticità cui va incontro la ricostruzione tradizionale sulle origini dell'emptio.

Der Begriff der Transparenz hat verschiedene Aspekte. Man kann von Ergebnistransparenz sprechen, wenn das Resultat eines Entscheidungsprozesses offen gelegt wird. Damit eng verbunden ist die inhaltliche Transparenz, die sich auf die Verständlichkeit und Nachvollziehbarkeit des Entscheidungsergebnisses bezieht. Die Verfahrenstransparenz bezieht sich auf die Entscheidungsverfahren selbst, die oft gerade in transparenzrelevanten Punkten ganz unterschiedlich ausgestaltet sind. In föderalen Gebilden und der zunehmend'globalisierten'Welt wird die Verantwortungstransparenz immer wichtiger, bei der es um die Frage geht, ob man das Ergebnis eines Entscheidungsprozesses noch einem verantwortlichen Entscheidungsträger zuordnen kann. Transparenz ist kein neues Konzept und ein genauer Blick in das Grundgesetz zeigt, daß viele Vorschriften und Prinzipien des Grundgesetzes die Schaffung von Transparenz der einen und anderen Art zum Gegenstand haben. Dieser Zwang, der sich wie in einer Besessenheit zu schreiben zeigt, ist konstitutiv für ihr Schreiben und so auch für'Rechnitz (Der Würgeengel)'.
