Konya, the capital of the Anatolian Seljuk, became one of the important centers of science in the Islamic world in the 13th century. The city became the capital city during the reign of Sultan Masoûd (1116-1155), one of the Anatolian Seljuk sultans, and soon settled many madrasas. During the reign of Sultan Masoud's son II. Qılıch Arslan period, mosques, lodges, madrasahs and military bases were established in Konya and the surrounding cities and so scholars, merchants and ghazi started to come here from Iran. With the period of Ala ad-Din Kayqûbâd (1220-1237), Konya became one of the biggest cities of Anatolia, and the fortresses and walls were fortified for the protection order of the city. The fact that Konya is a reliable and developed city, the establishment of many madrasahs, dervish lodges and lodges in the city attracted the attention of Iranian scholars and scholars. Owing to the respect shown by the rulers here to the scholars and the opportunities they prepared for them have cited the point of view of the Iranian scholars. In the 12th and 13th centuries, Iranian and Turanian cultists, scholars and religious scholars from Iranian geography, especially from lands such as Urmiya, Khoy, Tabriz, Shiraz, Belkh, Bukhara and Samarkand, started to come to Konya. In the Kösedağ war in 1243, the Seljuks - even though they received a great blow from the Mongols - opened their doors to the peoples fleeing from the Iranian side in the cities under their rule, so the cities under their rule faced a great migration. In this study, we will briefly talk about the Iranian traditions who came to the city during the period of Anatolian Seljuks who ruled in Konya and its surroundings for more than two hundred years and the works they wrote in Persian language. Bozkır district, one of the southern districts of Konya, located in the Central Anatolia Region, is located in the Mediterranean Region. The Bozkır district has been continuously decreasing in population since 2000. The number, quality, and elevation of a district that emigrates to the outside are of geographical importance. Many factors play a role in the distribution of the population. By detailing the relationship between population and elevation, this district was chosen as a research site. This study was carried out in order to determine the effect of elevation, which is one of the topographic parameters, on the distribution of the population. In this study, which was created using Geographical Information Systems and data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the distribution of settlements in the Bozkır district according to the ascending steps was revealed. The district, which has the status of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, has 52 neighborhoods (49 of which are rural neighborhoods). It has been concluded that permanent settlements are scattered in the range of 1.100 - 1.700 m. At an elevation of 1.700 m, plateau settlements are visible. The 1.100-1.200 m range covers an area of 70 km² and has a population of 8.545 as of 2019. The highest density of the population in the district constitutes the elevation range. The 1.600-1.700 m range covers an area of 32 km² and has 793 inhabitants. In this elevation range, the number of settlements decreased and the population decreased accordingly. There are many abandoned mines that have completed their economic life in the world and in our country. Because of limited capital power and manpower, it is very difficult to recover all abandoned mines to their pre-mining state. Therefore, environmental problems and their impacts related to abandoned mines are frequently observed. To investigate the impact of the abandoned mercury quarry representing the Ladik neighborhood and its surroundings, 21 samples were collected from the field to represent the creek beds, settlement, pasture, agricultural area and areas separated as abandoned quarries. The results of the chemical analyses obtained from the samples were evaluated using statistical methods. In the dendrograms prepared as soil and placer (cluster analysis), prominent groups were distinguished and interpreted together with the geological structure and anthropogenic factors of the region. The results of the Potential Ecological Risk Index were determined as Zn < M < Cr < Cu < Ni < Pb < As < Hg in the geoaccumulation ındex, contamination factor, potential ecological risk ındex and potential ecological risk factor. The concentration of mercury in stream beds in the study area is higher than that in soils. Although the primary factor of this accumulation is of geogenic origin, it has been determined that mining and human activities in the region have an effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The main objective of the study was to determine the structure of marketing, problems in marketing and to suggest solutions to the problems of carrot marketing. Primary data used in the research were gathered through personal interviews with the help of well-designed questionnaires from 73 carrot producer farms, 30 marketing channels' actors (broker/merchants) and 10 cold storage firms in Konya, Turkey. The surveyed samples were selected randomly. The data covered 2011 production season. Carrot marketing cost was calculated to be US$0.40 per kg; distributed as 69.39% of raw materials, 11.7% broker commission, 8.89% transport costs, 7.04% packing, 3.39% labour and 0.22% other cost. For the carrot production, high input costs, difficulties in finding new markets, climatic conditions and delays or even failure in payment for product, were identified as the main problems. Regarding exports, to eliminate the complications at custom offices will ensure the sustainability of existing markets; and it should help to create new markets. In this study, economic analysis was conducted for groundwater-irrigated oil sunflower farming in Konya region. This study was conducted over the agricultural fields of 20 oil sunflower farmers operating within the irrigation scheme of groundwater irrigation cooperative of Başgötüren districts of Karatay town of Konya province in 2019. Within the scope of this study, inputs used in oil sunflower farming, input quantities and unit prices, yields and unit sales prices of the farmers were determined. Cost-benefit analysis was performed with the resultant data and economic assessments were performed for irrigated oil sunflower farming. Average total production cost of groundwater-irrigated oil sunflower farming was calculated as 4683.4 TL ha-1 (821.6 $ ha-1). Of such a cost, 50% was constituted by irrigation costs. Electricity constituted the greatest cost item in irrigation costs. Average gross production value was calculated as 8208.3 TL ha-1 (1440.1 $ ha-1). This study was conduted to determine the adaptability of four blackberry varieties (Jumbo, Chester, Arphe, Boata) to the ecological conditions of Konya province in 2017-2018. For this purpose, phenological, pomological, chemical and plant properties of blackberry varietes were investigated. According to the research results; The first flowering took place on May 20 (Jumbo), 23 May (Chester), June 3 (Arphe), June 15 (Boata). The first harvest dates was July 5 (Jumbo and Chester), July 15 (Boata), July 22 (Arphe) and the last harvest dates are July 26 (Boata), 17 August (Arphe), 10 September (Jumbo), 16 September (Chester). On the other hand, after September 16 new fruits were produced by the Chester cultivar but could not be harvested owing to the fact that they did not mature. In terms of fruit weight, the highest values was determined in Jumbo (3.60 g) followed by Chester (2.82 g), Arphe (1.19 g), Boata (0.72 g) cultivars, respectively. This article aims to present an assessment of Musa Efendi’s, a rural Kadi in Ottoman, life, family, his house, daily life, fortune, and his commercial activities. These assessments largely depend on the data obtained from court records. Court records are among the most important data sources to assess someone’s daily life activities. The events that contain clues of the social and economic structure of the society such as division of the inheritance, appointing an executor, disagreements between individuals, and commercial activities, which are brought to the court, play an important role in revealing the adventures of individuals, relationship between relatives, and the structure of families. In this context, by referencing the court records by Musa Efendi who was a Kadi in different cities and died during his mission as a Kadi in Konya, this paper will attempt to reveal his life, albeit partially, and a general assessment of his socio-economic status and family ties. Democratic Party put an end to the power of the Republican People's Party with the general election of 14 May 1950 and remained in power until the coup of 27 May 1960. DP won all the elections held during this period, which lasted 10 years, a long time considering the history of the Republic. Konya, which was one of the most important cities where DP was strong, was the city having the highest number of deputies in DP power period, except for Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. Therefore, Konya was one of the cities where political parties, especially DP and RPP attached importance. The aim of this study is to determine the awareness levels of hotelkeepers in halal tourism concept on halal hotel criteria, halal hotel certificate and requests of guests with religious sensitivity. In the research, interviews were used to collect the data and content analysis method was used to analyze the data. In this context, interview was conducted with 11 people in halal concept hotels operating in Konya. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that hotel managers are not willing to give halal certification and some hotels do not make clear decisions about halal hospitality criteria. This article explores the condemnation of male–male cross-generational sexual practices in the Ottoman Empire during World War I (1914–1918) through a sexual harassment case that took place in an orphanage in Konya. Relying on the police registers and incorporating individual testimonies of orphan boys who were sexually abused by the headmaster, Münir Bey, I explore the wartime political and sexological discourses on cross-generational homoerotic sexual practices against the backdrop of the institutionalization of heterosexual sex. I argue that, rather than the act of sexual abuse itself, in the wartime ideological climate it was the sexual interaction between same-sex individuals that alarmed Ottoman state and society and forced them to take action against it. Konya Müzesi'nde müze envanterine kayıtlı İlhanlı hükümdarı Ebû Said Bahadır Han'a ait sikke örnekleri çalışılmıştır. İlhanlılar (İran Moğolları) H.654-744 M. (1256-1344) tarihleri arasında Ortadoğu (İran) ve Anadolu'da hüküm sürmüşlerdir. İlk Hanları ve Hülâgû Han'dır. Argun Han ve Keyhatu Han döneminde ekonomik krizler ve düzensizlikler dolayısıyla altın piyasadan çekilmiştir. Gâzân Mahmud Han'ın ıslahatlarıyla yine ortaya çıkmıştır. Gâzân Mahmud'un cülûsu H.693 (M.1293) te dir. Gâzân Mahmud H.694'te (m.1294) Müslümanlığı kabul edip; adına hutbe okutarak, cülûs ettikten sonra "Gazanus" ismi altında yüksek ayarlı vasat bir altın sikke bastırmıştır. Bu tarz sikkeler bilhassa Bizans Devletince de iyi karşılanmıştır. Ebû Said Bahadır Han zamanında altın sikkeler düzenini tamamen kaybetmiş durumdadır. İlhanlı sikkelerinde kompozisyon genel olarak yazı ön plandadır. Bunun yanında geometriksel bezeme kullanılmıştır. İnci dizisi birçok kompozisyon da yer almaktadır. Musul, Tebriz, Berda, Medinet-Gence, Amasya, Bağdad, Erzincan, Medineti-Konya gibi birçok şehirde sikke bastırmışlardır. İlhanlılar devrinde en çok sikke bastıran Sultan Ebû Said Bahadır Han olmuştur. İlhanlı Devletinin son hanı Anuşirvan'dır. Hangi tarihe kadar hükümran olduğu belli değildir. Bununla beraber kendisinin H.754 (M.1344) tarihli adına kesilmiş sikkesi bulunmuş olduğundan, bazı tarihçiler bu seneyi İlhanlıların yıkılış tarihi olarak gösterirler. İlhanlıların yıkılışı sırasında bir takım rakip hanlar, serdârlar, vezirler ve sâir erkân devlet işlerine müdahaleye başlamışlar, birbirlerine besledikleri kin ve kıskançlıktan dolayı memleket için hakiki bir tehlike teşkil etmişlerdir. Rakip hanların sonuncusu Anuşirvan’dır. İlhanlı devletinin maliyesinin temelini gümüş madeninden kesilen sikkeler oluşturur. Sikke devletin kontrolü altında kesilmiştir. Altın sikke alışverişlerde kullanılmayıp bilhassa bazı merasimlerde kullanılmıştır. Moğollar devrinde gümüş, altın para hesaplarında dinar, dirhem, miskal, tenke, baliş, tümen kullanıldığı bilinmektedir. Sikkeler bir devletin inanç düşüncelerini yansıtmaktadır. Sikkelerde görülen bir çok öğe diğer sanat dallarındaki öğelerle paralellik gösterir. Orta Asya, Şamanizm, İslâm, Geç Antik ve Bizans etkilerinin görülmesine rağmen bütün bu etkileşimler özümlenerek kendine has özgün sanat anlayışları ortaya çıkarmıştır.

This work examines the shaping of Ottoman intellectual life between 1302 and 1362 as part of the common cultural heritage of Turkistan, Iran, and Anatolia. The relevant Damascus-Cairo and Byzantine aspects are also considered. It will detail how the components of this heritage were transmitted to the Ottoman realm and investigate both the channels used and the institutions involved during the reigns of ʿOsman and Orhān Gāzī as well as the role of Dāwūd Kaysarī, who was considered to be the first Ottoman mudarris. The period’s political, intellectual, and ideological approaches will also be taken into account, and a brief context evaluation will be conducted on the al-Itḥāfu’s-Sulaymānī fi’l-ʿahdi’l-Ūrkhānī attributed to Kaysarī and presented to Sulayman Pasha. This scholarly work is identified as the first one to be compiled in the Ottoman realm. Its editio princeps will be appended to the article.

Canlıların birinci ihtiyaçları beslenmektir. Dolayısıyla insanların doğumdan ölüme kadar beslenmek zorunda olmaları, ilk çağlardan beri yemekle ilgili bir takım kurallar geliştirmelerine neden olmuştur. Bu kurallar, zamanla toplumların kendi yapı ve değerleri ile ilgili gelenek ve görenekleriyle bütünleşip, o toplumlara özgü mutfak kültürünü yaratmıştır. Mutfak dediğimiz şey insanlığın ilk ortaya çıkmasından günümüze kadar değişen, gelişen ve sentezlenen bir olgudur. Ayrıca yemek yeme eylemi hem biyolojik, hem kültürel hem de psikolojik bir sürecin ürünüdür. Bu üç boyutlu ihtiyacın sonucunda mutfak geleneği hem sürekli değişen, hem de sürekli karmaşık bir hal alan ama aynı zamanda da kültürleri birbirinden kısmen ayırmaya yardım eden önemli bir kültürel ağdır. Yemek kültürü bir toplumda yiyeceğin üretiminden tüketimine kadar izlediği süreç ve bu sürece bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan maddi, manevi kültürel öğelerin oluşturduğu önemli bir kültürel sistemdir. Dünya mutfakları arasında Türk mutfağı dikkat çeken bir konumdadır. Nitekim hem Orta Asya’dan günümüze uzun bir tarihsel geçmişe; hem de oldukça geniş bir coğrafyanın ürünüdür.Bu çalışmanın amacı, Konya’nın kuzey batısında yer alan Ilgın ilçesinin mutfak kültürü ve yemeklerini kuramsal açıdan, günlük öğünlerde; geçiş dönemlerinde doğumdan ölüme kadar ; kutsal ve neşeli günlerde, istek/dilek sofralarında yapılan yemek alışkanlıklarının eskiden ve günümüzde neler olduğunu; ayrıca kışlık yiyecekler; sofra düzenleri; pişirme yöntemleri; servis düzenleri; içecekler; yemeklerini çorbalardan tatlılara kadar saptamak suretiyle tanıtmak ve yazılı kayıtlara geçirilerek kaybolmasını önlemektir.Çalışma nitel bir araştırmadır; Ilgın mutfak kültürü ve yemekleri, bölge kültürünü temsil eden 50 yaş ve üzeri 11 kaynak kişi ile yüz yüze görüşülerek derlenmiştir. Çalışmada mutfak araçları, mutfak mimarisi ve yemek tarifleri kapsam dışı bırakılmıştır. Ilgın yöresinin kışlık ve yazlık öğünleri; doğumdan ölüme kadarki geçiş dönemlerindeki yeme içmeyle ilişkili ritüelleri; dilek istek sofraları; dini gün ve bayramlarında tüketilen yiyecek ve içecekler; kışlık besinler; yemekler ve tarifleri sistematik bir şekilde aktarılmıştır. Gelecekteki çalışmalarda daha fazla kaynak kişi ile görüşülerek bilgilerin derinleştirilmesi; bu bilgi birikimiyle görseller üretilmesi; tariflerin birçoğunun uygulanarak standartlaştırılması ve diğer disiplinlere de hizmet edebilmesi amacıyla besin değerlerinin hesaplanması önerilmektedir.

Bu çalışma ile; Konya ilinde arpa üretim, pazarlama ve işleme aşamalarında arpa pazarlamasına etki eden kriterlerin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada; Konya ilinde faaliyet gösteren; karma yem (37 adet) ve malt fabrikası (1 adet), arpa alım satımı yapan tüccarlar (50 adet) ve tarımsal faaliyetleri içinde arpa üretimine yer veren tarım işletmeleri (107 adet) ile yapılan anket sonuçları kullanılmıştır. Tarım işletmeleri tarafından arpa satımında fiyata etki ettiği düşünülen kriterlerin başında hektolitre ve arpanın içine başka bitki çeşidinin karışmaması öne çıkarken, arpa çeşitlerinin satış fiyatında önemli bir kriter olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Tüccarların arpa satın alırken göz önünde bulundurduğu en önemli kriter arpanın hektolitresi olup, bu kriteri arpanın rutubeti, rengi ve içindeki yabancı madde karışıklık oranı izlemektedir. Fabrikaların arpa satın alırken göz önünde bulundurdukları en önemli kriter arpanın rutubet oranı olarak belirlenirken, daha sonra arpanın hektolitresi ve içindeki yabancı madde karışıklık oranı gelmektedir. Malt sanayisi için ise; arpanın çeşidi alım kriterlerinde çok önemli bir faktör olup, bunu arpanın rutubet oranı ve rengi takip etmektedir.

This study evaluates the economic activity results of dairy cattle enterprises in Konya Province. The data used in the research was obtained through questionnaire technique from 125 dairy cattle enterprises which were determined with stratified random sampling method on a voluntary basis. The total active captial of the enterprises are $845,330.85 and the share of animal capital is 26.27%. Average cattle number in the enterprises have been determined to be 104.95 heads, cow number is 61.22 heads per farm while average daily milk yield in the enterprises is determined as 27.45 lt/head for milker cows. The total average variable cost in dairy cattle enterprises is calculated to be $104,235.23 and the sum of all fixed cost is $40,496.15. The share of feed cost in variable costs is 84.33%. Gross Production Value (GPV) is $194,759.57 and 85.08% of this value is from milk and milk products. Gross profit per enterprise is $90,524.34 and net profit is $50,028.19. In the study, the milk cost is calculated at $0.31/lt. Sale price of milk of enterprises is $0.42/lt in 2015. In the research field, economic profitability of enterprises is calculated at 2.04% and financial profitability is calculated at 2.02%. As a result of the research, the greatest problems of dairy cattle enterprises are identified as supplying of roughage and concentrate feed, low levels of organization, low number of milked stocks, and taking individual actions against the market.

With the emergence of the presence of baths in the history of humanity is no longer a vital need for water has been understood by research. Thanks to this information, it was found out that people first used the bath structures that they built in Greek civilizations, they used them for healthy life and in the following periods they were meeting places, sports fields and indispensable parts of daily life. The aim of this study is to examine the baths, which is an important figure of the daily life in the past, in terms of space and material in the field study in the field study, since it can continue as a place by changing its function upon the loss of old importance due to the cultural and technological development and subsequent changes. Although baths change their shape and function according to civilizations, they are thought, designed and built as an important part of socio-cultural life. In the first examples, the baths, which appeared in the function of health structures and on a small scale, have grown in scale as a result of advancing technology and changing environmental conditions, gained additional functions and turned into complex structures. Baths are similar in their emergence ideas. However, their functions and functions have undergone changes. In this way, it was able to add something new to the next culture and make it available today. The baths, which are clearly shaped within the framework of social life, also provide clear information about the needs and lifestyle of the period. In the light of this information, both cultural accumulation occurs and more extensive research can be done. In this context, as a result of the researches, Meram Hasbey Bath, located in the city center of Konya and changed its function, was examined on the basis of both material and space and investigated by field analysis method. In the field analysis, it was found out that many parts of the Meram Hasbey Bath were not available. It is understood that only two parts of the structure serve the users and both the bath architecture is not perceived and the structure cannot be fully protected.

In Ottoman Empire, along with the financial regulations that were introduced after the declaration of Tanzimat (political reforms) in the XIX. Century, a new type of records called Temettuat registry was kept in addition to existing population records. In these registers; unlike the population changes, it is possible to reach the information related to the head of household, his occupation, how many acres of land and how much of it is used, how much of it is not used, the current agricultural products obtained and the tithe tax he paid and the number of sheep and cattle owned. From this point of view, we can say that there is a fairer tax collection procedure in order to determine taxpayers and to create a balanced budget. .In this study, the socio-economic structure of Inluce village of Konya in the year H.1260-1261 / (M.1844-1845) was examined by utilizing the Temettûat book numbered 10381 in ML.VRD.TMT in the Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry. The main source of livelihood for people in Inluce village, with a total of 111 households, is agriculture and animal husbandry. Linum aksehirense (Linaceae) is described as a new species known from the slopes of the Sultan Mountains in the Akşehir district of Konya in Central Anatolia (Turkey). It is most similar to L. pubescens Banks & Sol. and L. anisocalyx P.H.Davis, from which it is easily distinguished by its stem leaf shape, sepal shape and petal colour. Seed and pollen surface ornamentations were photographed under SEM microscopy to explore micromorphological characters distinguishing the new species from close relatives. The arts of the book of late medieval Rum (Anatolia) constitute a rich resource for Islamic art historians that remains relatively unknown in the wider scholarship. This complex period saw the disintegration of Seljuk rule and the partial absorption of the region into the Ilkhanid realm. Konya (present-day central Turkey), the former Seljuk capital, was hardly isolated from its better-known neighbors and was evidently an active center for the patronage of the arts of the book. This article contributes to ongoing discussions concerning late medieval Islamic manuscripts by discussing illuminations that were produced by Mukhlis ibn ʿAbdallah al-Hindi in thirteenth-century Konya. One of the two named illuminators active in the city, Mukhlis extensively decorated two manuscripts, both in 677 h (1278): a small Qurʾan and a monumental copy of Jalal al-Din Rumi's Mas̱navī. Both are the initial focus of the article. Following an analysis of these manuscripts, the article presents additional material as possible products of Mukhlis's hand or of Konya generally, demonstrating both the relative visual distinctiveness of Konya illumination and the need to potentially re-examine works previously attributed to Egypt or Persia. Population growth, urbanization, industrialization and migration have been effected in city in the recent century since the beginning of the world is the most important problems. Konya city Turkey during last 2-3-decade, important province pile pollution has increased a median. Air pollution, which started to be effective after 1975 in Konya, is the most important question of the city today. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department's regulation on the subject continues air pollution follows: It is important to board of directors with air pollution. The air quality measuring devices of Konya city are monitored on the regularly and are also shared online for the public to follow. In addition, the appearance of polluting sources influences the causes of a pollutant (Industry, Traffic and Domestic Business) in the city. For this purpose, the project of Modelling Air Quality and Creating Clean Air Action Plans was launched in 2017. Air Pollution monitoring project results, which were prepared and completed in 2009, are aimed to be prepared and already underway. It focusses on reducing airborne levels towards this goal; we evaluate it in every dimension and implement the explanation. Bosnia district of the Konya is the most fast-growing part with parallel to increasing university student in the region. In this study atmospheric particle matter levels were investigated and modelled. Evaluation and evaluation of the measurement results were made by Surfer v8 program and modelling maps were created. Form the results of this study; source of air pollution will be investigated. As a result of the evaluation of the measurement results made at 22 different points, it was observed that when the assessment was made according to the WHO and EPA, values were higher than the limit values at some measurement points. The aim of this study is to examine the energy efficiencies of dairy products produced in dairy enterprises in Konya region and to provide suggestions to increase energy efficiency. For this purpose, 125 dairy enterprises have been selected as samples by using stratified random sampling method to identify the enterprises to be examined. As a result, 8.05% of total energy input per cow was direct energy and 91.95% was indirect energy. 89.66% of total energy output is from milk production, 4.65% is from productive stock value (PSV) and 5.69% is cow manure. The energy use efficiency in the research area was found to be 1.07. Energy productivity in milk production has been calculated as 0.13 (kgMJ−1) when milk production per unit animal was taken into consideration. The specific energy value per dairy cow has been calculated as 7.42 MJ/kg. A non-parametric production function of DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) has been applied to optimize energy use in dairy enterprises. The average technical efficiency (TE) in the research area has been calculated as 0.921. In this sense, the amount of input needs to be reduced by 7.9% in order to achieve the same level of production. • Energy use efficiency were calculated 1.07. • Energy productivity were calculated 0.13 kg MJ−1 • Average specific energy is calculated 7.42 MJ/kg. • Direct and indirect energies were calculated as 11,973 MJ cow−1 and 135,686 MJ cow−1. • Technical efficiency were calculated as 0.921, pure technical efficiency 1 and scale efficiency 0.921. The aim of this study was to detect Leucostoma spp., the causal agents of Leucostoma canker causing death and dieback, in sweet cherry trees and to determine its prevalence in the Mid-Anatolia Region in the growing seasons between 2013 and 2014. The study was conducted in 8 counties of Afyon, Ankara, Konya, and Isparta provinces. A total number of 304 isolates were collected in 79 different fields in these provinces. As a result of this calculation, the prevalence of Leucostoma canker were 61.29%, 38.39%, 21.03%, and 5.82% in Ankara, Isparta, Afyon, and Konya, respectively. This study was carried out to investigate the some reproduction characteristics of Honamlı goat breed that are rearing commonly in Taurus Mountains in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. The materials of the study was formed with the five years records from 2011 to 2016 of 27 flocks (average 220 bucks and 4400 does) chosen from 36 flocks within the scope of National Public Small Ruminant Improvement Project, which was raised under extensive conditions in Beyşehir and Derebucak districts of Konya. At the end of the research; kidding rate, survival rate, twin birth rate, fecundity, litter size and the averages for birth weight, weaning weight and daily weight gains for the five consecutive years were found as 85%,87%,15%,0.94,1.10,3.64 kg,19.14 kg,0.180 kg, respectively. The increase of dependency of people in nature, due to the gradual increase of population at cities and the effect of life conditions, causes an increase in demand for green areas and ornamental plants. This increase of demand had provided an economic sector dimension to cultivation of ornamental plants. This study had been realized in order to determine suitable areas for cultivation of ornamental plants in the province of Konya which is a significant agriculture potential of Turkey and which has an ecology suitable for cultivation of many agricultural products. In the determination of these suitable areas, Geographical Information Systems having many functions such as location determination, data storage, data analysis and spatial analysis had been used. Climate, topography and soil features required for cultivation of ornamental plants had been obtained in map environment for the research area, and the analyses required for determination of suitable areas had been made in ArcGIS module. As the result of the analyses, it had been determined that the south-east and south-west areas of the province of Konya were suitable or conditionally suitable areas for cultivation of ornamental plants. These areas will be assessed considering their proximity to market and the socio-economic features of the current producer potential, and establishment of ornamental plants cultivation facilities at the most suitable area will provide significant contributions for the province of Konya in economic, social and environmental aspects. In that study; the opinions of the local people about perception of cultural heritage, protection of cultural heritage and use for tourism was investigated. This study have been made in March-May 2018 with 483 living people in the center of Konya province with convenience sampling method. The questionnaire developed by Okuyucu (2011) used in this study to learn opinions of the local peoples about this topic. According to the obtained results; the majority of local people living in the center of Konya province perceive religious buildings, traditional houses, folk dances, local dishes and handicrafts as cultural heritage properties. In addition that findings; people living city center in Konya province think that cultural heritage can be preserved with the help of tourism, they evaluate the development of tourism positively in the center of the province and will support tourism activities. The uncontrolled urbanization caused significant changes in urban environmental conditions due to increased buildup areas of cities, reduction the urban landscape, disruption of human-environment relations. The urban environments consist of two superimposed systems as being natural and human-made. Urban plans consist of both design and these urban environmental components. Especially planner’s environmental perception is too important for setting of environmental quality. Therefore, urban environmental quality and human value became the two key concepts of visual environment assessment. Each of these components have differences to its own geological, morphological, climatic structure etc. physical characteristics and that coming from social, cultural and systematic properties. So urban and environmental planners are responsible for shaping the urban environment as well as human, urban and environmental health professionals. This paper will be analyzed the environmental perceptions of university students of urban planning about urban environment and nature related to human and nature relationships.
