Total nitrogen in Taihu Lake, China has gradually decreased since 2015 while the total phosphorus concentration has exhibited an increasing trend, indicating an asynchronous change. The dominant nitrogen removal process in freshwater ecosystems is denitrification which primarily occurs at the sediment–water interface. In this study, 15 N isotope incubation experiments were attempted to analyze the effect of water temperature on denitrification, to construct the regional denitrification Arrhenius equations considering water temperature, and to identify the nitrate source of denitrification in Lake Taihu sediments. The results indicated that the potential N2 production rates and denitrification rates generally decreased in the west to east direction, which was significantly positively correlated with the nitrate concentration of overlying water by Pearson correlation coefficient analysis (P < 0.05). In addition, when the water temperature was lower than 30 °C, the rates of the potential N2 production and denitrification were higher with an increase in water temperature, but when the water temperature was overhigh, denitrification was inhibited. The ratio of the total denitrification rate of nitrate from the water column in the sediment to the total denitrification rate during the incubation experiment was above 0.5 at each sampling site. This indicated that the denitrification in the Lake Taihu sediment primarily occurred at the expense of nitrate from the water column. The research results of Arrhenius equation construction and nitrate source identification of denitization can be applied to improve the accuracy of water quality model of Taihu Lake, which is of great significance to improve Taihu Lake water quality, and can act as a reference for the water environment treatment of other shallow eutrophic lakes in China and abroad. In order to investigate the molecular mechanism and transcriptomics of the response of graphene to the roots of Castanopsis hystrix Miq plant. Seedlings were cultivated with 4 groups of graphene solution concentrations of 0, 25, 33 and 50 mg/L, 0 refers to distilled water culture, the root development, gene expression, enrichment pathway and range of differentially expressed genes were analyzed. Compared with 0 group, 25 mg/L graphene solution had the best promoting effect on root development of Castanopsis hystrix seedlings(t=2.86 to 7.80, P<0.05). Transcriptomic data showed that the expression levels of 12 845 genes were changed after 25 mg/L graphene solution was applied to Castanopsis hystrix roots, among which 10 899 genes were up-regulated and 1 946 genes were inhibited. According to the Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis, the up-regulated genes were mainly enriched in 126 KEGG pathways, and down-regulated genes were enriched in 99 KEGG pathways. In addition, 110 transcription factor genes were differentially expressed and could be classified into 33 different families. Among them, 7 transcription factor family genes, including ERF, WRKY, MYB, NAC, bHLH, TCP and Trihelix were related to root development of Castanopsis hystrix. Analyses of differentially expressed genes related to plant hormone signal transduction pathways showed changes in the expression levels of 7 hormone-related genes, including auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, ethylene, salicylic acid, brassinosteroid and strigolactone, were closely related to the root growth of Castanopsis hystrix. Reducing the intake of trans and saturated fatty acids is a trend in healthy eating. In this study, the oleogels were prepared from rice bran oil (RBO), candle wax (CDW), beeswax (BW), rice bran wax (RBW), and carnauba wax (CRW), respectively, and the results based on their physicochemical properties and crystal structures at critical concentrations, 6 wt.%, 8 wt.%, and 10 wt.%, were determined to further investigate the oleogels as a shortening substitute in cookie recipes. Oleogel has a smooth, spreadable β′ crystal shape which creates excellent sensory properties and improves the texture, but also has some economic benefits. A comparison between the oleogels formed at critical concentrations and those with improved mass fractions was performed in several analyses such as PLM and texture, and the oleogels with higher mass fractions had a greater hardness and stickiness and denser crystal structures. This study was used to optimize the cookie recipe by partially replacing shortening with oleogel and preparing the cookies according to the 0:1, 3:7, 1:1, 7:3, 1:0 oleogel shortening mixture, respectively. Based on the results of the textural analysis, a colorimetric and sensory evaluation of the optimized formulation of oleogels in cookies, it was evident that BW and RBW oleogels have more potential to replace shortening in cookies than CDW and CRW oleogels. In particular, oleogels with a concentration of 6 wt.% RBW (RBW-6) and at a 7:3 (oleogel:shortening) shortening replacement exhibited a hardness and crispness of 15.75 N and 97.73 g, respectively, with an L* value of 66.66 and a sensory score of 22.32 ± 0.09. The value for the color perception difference (dE) between the cookies and the control group was −3.73, which allowed us to obtain a good product with a quality and characteristics similar to shortening. Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases (HSDs) play an important role in the metabolism of steroids and xenobiotics. However, the function of HSDs in invertebrates is unclear. In this study, we cloned the hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-like 2 (HSDL2) gene in Perinereis aibuhitensis, which is 1652 bp in length, encoding 400 amino acids. This sequence contains conserved short-chain dehydrogenase and sterol carrier protein-2 domain, and the alignment analysis showed its close relationship with other invertebrate HSDL2. Further, the tissue distribution analysis of the HSDL2 gene showed it is expressed strongly in the intestine. The expression level of HSDL2 after inducement with bisphenol A (BPA) was also detected both at transcriptional and translational levels. The results inferred that BPA exposure can induce HSDL2 expression, and the inductive effect was obvious in the high-concentration BPA group (100 μg/L). T cells play an important role in adaptive immunity. Mature T cells specifically recognize antigens on major histocompatibility complex molecules through T-cell receptors (TCRs). As the TCR repertoire is highly diverse, its analysis is vital in the assessment of T cells. Advances in sequencing technology have provided convenient methods for further investigation of the TCR repertoire. In the present review, the TCR structure and the mechanisms by which TCRs function in tumor recognition are described. In addition, the potential value of the TCR repertoire in tumor diagnosis is reviewed. Furthermore, the role of the TCR repertoire in tumor immunotherapy is introduced, and the relationships between the TCR repertoire and the effects of different tumor immunotherapies are discussed. Based on the reviewed literature, it may be concluded that the TCR repertoire has the potential to serve as a biomarker for tumor prognosis. However, a wider range of cancer types and more diverse subjects require evaluation in future research to establish the TCR repertoire as a biomarker of tumor immunity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to investigate how service automation is associated with the volume of international trade in services and how the interactions of automation, industry, and national ICT development are associated with it. We use data from the U.N. Comtrade, O*NET Online, the U.N. Global ICT Development Index, and the World Bank Open Data to test our hypotheses. We find that the marginal year-by-year growth rates of international trade in highly automatable services decreased in 2007–2017, whereas those of international trade in less automatable services have increased. ICT development is positively associated with the volume and annual growth rate of a country's service exports, but it is negatively associated with the volume and annual growth rate of the country's service imports. The growth rate of international trade in highly automatable services is lower for importing countries with advanced ICT, but it is higher for exporting countries with advanced ICT. Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the most challenging neoplasm to treat in clinical practice. Ankyrin repeat domain 49 protein (ANKRD49) is highly expressed in several carcinomas; however, its pattern of expression and role in LUAD are not known. Tissue microarrays, immunohistochemistry, χ2 test, Spearman correlation analysis, Kaplan–Meier, log‐rank test, and Cox's proportional hazard model were used to analyse the clinical cases. The effect of ANKRD49 on the LUAD was investigated using CCK‐8, clonal formation, would healing, transwell assays, and nude mice experiment. Expressions of ANKRD49 and its associated downstream protein molecules were verified by real‐time PCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and/or immunofluorescence analyses. ANKRD49 expression was highly elevated in LUAD. The survival rate and Cox's modelling analysis indicated that there may be an independent prognostic indicator for LUAD patients. We also found that ANKRD49 promoted the invasion and migration in both in in vitro and in vivo assays, through upregulating matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)‐2 and MMP‐9 activities via the P38/ATF‐2 signalling pathway Our findings suggest that ANKRD49 is a latent biomarker for evaluating LUAD prognosis and promotes the metastasis of A549 cells via upregulation of MMP‐2 and MMP‐9 in a P38/ATF‐2 pathway‐dependent manner.
