Objective To investigate the demands of clinical teaching and perception of the theoretical knowledge and clinical practice among nursing undergraduates at school, and provide reference for establishment of a systematic teaching management system and improve the quality of clinical teaching. Methods Totally 161nursing undergraduates at school were recruited by a convenience sampling method, and an open-ended questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the nursing undergraduates’ demands of clinical teaching. Results The top-ranked demand for clinical teaching was the combination of theoretic knowledge and clinical practice (91. 93%), followed by the diversified teaching methods including video-assisted and real case teaching (85. 71%) and developing students' interest in clinical work(81. 99%). Most of students were satisfied with clinical teaching. Conclusion Clinical teachers should help students build clinical thinking ability by adopting the teaching method combining theory with practice. Clinical teachers should help students build conference and establish identity and self-worth in clinical practice. (目的 调查在校本科护理学生对临床带教老师的需求, 通过了解学生的理论知识与临床实践认知, 为建立系统、完善的教学管理体系, 不断探索完善临床护理实践与理论知识的紧密结合, 从而为提高临床护理教学质量提供参考。方法 采用便利抽样法对某高校161例在校本科护理学生进行临床教学需求问卷调查。结果 在校生护生对“应将书本理论与临床实操练习相结合”的需求最高(91. 93%), 其次为“教学多样化, 如视频、真实案例等教学”(85. 71%)和“教学过程中应培养学生对临床工作的兴趣”(81. 99%)。满意度调查显示, 156(96. 89%)例在校护生对教学满意。结论 在进行临床教学时, 教师可以通过现场理论与实操教学相结合的方式, 让学生建立自己的临床思维, 老师多分享临床经验, 多鼓励学生, 在潜移默化中帮助学生建立自信心, 帮助护理实习生在临床工作中找到自我价值, 从而提高护理教学质量。)

Abstract Emerging photonic information processing systems require chip-level integration of controllable nanoscale light sources at telecommunication wavelengths. Currently, substantial challenges remain in the dynamic control of the sources, the low-loss integration into a photonic environment, and in the site-selective placement at desired positions on a chip. Here, we overcome these challenges using heterogeneous integration of electroluminescent (EL), semiconducting carbon nanotubes (sCNTs) into hybrid two dimensional – three dimensional (2D-3D) photonic circuits. We demonstrate enhanced spectral line shaping of the EL sCNT emission. By back-gating the sCNT-nanoemitter we achieve full electrical dynamic control of the EL sCNT emission with high on-off ratio and strong enhancement in the telecommunication band. Using nanographene as a low-loss material to electrically contact sCNT emitters directly within a photonic crystal cavity enables highly efficient EL coupling without compromising the optical quality of the cavity. Our versatile approach paves the way for controllable integrated photonic circuits.

Abstract Background The diagnosis of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) remains a challenge in clinical practice. Many novel serum and joint fluid biomarkers have important implications for the diagnosis of PJI. The presented study evaluated the value of joint fluid interleukin-6 (IL-6) combined with the neutral polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN%) ratio for chronic PJI diagnosis after arthroplasty. Materials and methods Sixty patients with chronic PJI or aseptic failure who underwent hip or knee revision from January 2018 to January 2020 in our department were included in this retrospective study. According to the 2013 MSIS diagnostic criteria, the 60 patients were divided into a PJI group and a non-PJI group (30 patients per group). We collected the joint fluid before surgery and determined the level of IL-6 and the PMN% by ELISA, and the differences between the two groups were compared. The diagnostic efficacy of joint fluid IL-6 combined with PMN% in chronic PJI was analyzed using a receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve). Results The diagnosis of PJI using joint fluid IL-6 combined with PMN% presented an area under the curve of 0.983, which was more accurate than the areas under the curve for diagnosis using IL-6 and PMN% individually (0.901 and 0.914, respectively). The optimal threshold values for IL-6 and PMN% were 662.50 pg/ml and 51.09%, respectively. Their sensitivity and specificity were 96.67% and 93.33%, respectively. The accuracy of the diagnosis of PJI was 95.00%. Conclusions Joint fluid IL-6 combined with PMN% can be used as an auxiliary method to detect chronic infection around the prosthesis after hip/knee arthroplasty. Level of evidence Patients who underwent hip/knee revision at the First Hospital of Chongqing Medical University for periprosthetic infection or aseptic failure of the prosthesis after hip/knee arthroplasty from January 2018 to January 2020 were included. Trial registration This study was approved by the ethics committee of the First Hospital of Chongqing Medical University on September 26, 2018 (local ethics committee number: 20187101) and registered with the China Clinical Trials Registry (registration number: ChiCTR1800020440) with an approval date of December 29, 2018.

For the analysis of the coupling characteristics of the power system frequency dynamic and power angle oscillation, the mechanism of the two-machine system under disturbances is derived in this paper, and the mechanism of the multi-machine system is obtained based on the extended equal area criterion (EEAC). A quantitative assessment index is proposed based on the Pearson coefficient, which quantified the coupling according to the characteristics of frequency dynamics and power angle oscillation. The influence of power angle oscillation on the frequency dynamic indices is analyzed, and the coupling degrees of between the power angle oscillation and different frequency dynamic indices are assessed quantitatively. The results of the mechanism analysis and case study verify the proposed quantitative indices and show the coupling characteristics of the power system frequency dynamic and power angle oscillation, which provided guidance for optimal frequency and power angle control.

In this experiment, the peptides were obtained by enzymatic digestion of wheat germ proteins from river sets using neutral protease, trypsin and pepsin. In vitro antioxidant capacity of samples was determined and their polypeptides distribution was determined using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The results showed that germ protein and polypeptides concentrations were positively correlated with antioxidant capacity.The antioxidant capacity of the peptides obtained by enzymatic digestion of neutral protease at different concentrations was significantly higher than that obtained by enzymatic digestion of pepsin and trypsin (P

Geomorphic features contribute to variations in regional climate, soil, and other ecological environment factors, which are also an important basis for the biodiversity and evolution of ecosystems. Studying geomorphic features in nature reserves provides a geomorphic basis for resource and environmental management and protecting ecology and biodiversity in these areas. This study revealed the terrain variation, geomorphic patterns, and developmental evolution of the Wumeng Mountain National Nature Reserve by combining quantitative and qualitative methods by investigating geomorphic features and advanced land observing satellite (ALOS) digital elevation model (DEM) terrain analysis. The results indicated that: (1) the reserve elevation was 980~2,454.7 m, with an average of 1,859.9 m, and the undulation was 390~2,104.7 m, with an average of 1,392.1 m. The basic geomorphic types of the reserve were mainly large undulating middle mountains (57.45), large undulating subalpine mountains (30.66%), and medium undulating mesas (11.17%), with an average slope of 21.1°. The gentle slopes (34.83%) had the highest proportion, followed by slopes (31.21%) and gently steep slopes (17.57%). The area of each aspect was the highest on half shady slopes (27.92%) and the least on sunny slopes (21.70%); (2) the reserve was located at the top part of the mountain, with the slope and undulation in the middle of each area being low and the surrounding area being high. From Sanjiangkou to Chaotianma and Haiziping, the average values of geomorphic parameters, such as elevation, undulation, slope, and hypsometric integral, decreased gradually, and there was a trend of progressive reduction in planation surfaces; (3) the terrain profile indicated seven planation surface levels around the reserve. Among them, levels Ⅰ-Ⅲ were the summit surfaces and residual planation surfaces, level Ⅶ was the Jinsha River erosional terrace surface, and levels Ⅳ-VI were the planation surfaces, corresponding to the three tectonic cycles in the area; (4) the hypsometric integral of the reserve ranged from 0.197 to 0.815, with an average of 0.503, and more than 80% of the area was in adulthood of geomorphic evolution, indicating that the surface erosion dynamics of the area was strong, and there was a greater ecological risk with enhanced human activities. Consequently, future conservation planning should consider differences in the surface dynamics of areas with various basic geomorphic types. Geomorphic features form an important part of the natural ecosystems of forest reserves. The unique and rich geomorphic structure enables the conservation and development of biodiversity along with the elements of the ecological environment on which it depends. Geomorphic diversity supports the analysis of the biological formation, evolution, and persistence mechanisms in reserves and provides geomorphic evidence for studying neotectonic activity in the area.

Objective By summarizing the clinical characteristics and follow-up outcomes of 5 patients with immune checkpoint inhibitor induced diabetes mellitus (ICI-DM) and reviewing the relevant literatures, the article aims at providing reference to clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of the ICI-DM. Methods Clinical data of 5 patients with ICI-DM who were admitted to Peking Union Medical College Hospital from December 2018 to February 2023 and did retrospectively analyzed. Results Five patients with a mean age of (65±7)years received treatment by the programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) or its ligand inhibitor (PD-L1). The median time from the first immunotherapy to the discovery of elevated plasma glucose was 100 (43, 210)days, and the median cycle of immunotherapy was 7 (2.5, 10.5). The onset of the illness of all the 5 patients started with diabetic ketosis or ketoacidosis. At the onset, urine ketone bodies were positive, random plasma glucose was (36.36±15.89)mmol/L, glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c)was (8.6%±0.66%), arterial blood pH was (7.28±0.16), and the median fasting C-peptide level was 0.09 (0.05, 0.32)μg/L. Five patients had an onset plasma glucose level of grade 3 or 4.Then, ICI treatment was discontinued in all patients and insulin therapy started. The daily dosage of insulin was (56±20)IU, supplemented with hypoglycemic drugs. After treatment, urine ketone body turned negative, pH value increased to normal range, and random plasma glucose decreased significantly (the median difference of random blood glucose before and after treatment was 21.30 mmol/L, P=0.043) showing that the treatment was effective. During the follow-up, all patients continued to use insulin. The PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors were restarted after hyperglycemia remission. The tumor condition was under control. Conclusions ICI-DM mainly occurs in patients who receive treatment with PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors usually with acute hyperglycemia whose laboratory tests indicate insulin secretion defects. Some patients had positive islet cell antibodies, glutamic acid decarboxylase antibodies and autoantibodies.Patients with positive autoantibodies needed early diagnosis and continuous insulin treatment. ICI treatment can be restarted after endocrinologists brought the blood glucose under control.

The 4+4 Medical Doctor Program set up by Peking Union Medical College has the characteristics of diverse professional backgrounds and short learning experience of medical courses. It is a pilot project to set up an integrated course of “organ-system-function”(OSF) basic medicine in the program. Teachers try to build an autonomous learning environment through the modular object-oriented dynamic learning environment(Moodle) platform in endocrine system teaching, carry out collective lesson preparation and trial lecture system, combine with the history of medicine and the introduction to medical scientific research, in order to explore a teaching model suitable for 4+4 Medical Doctor Program. According to the questionnaire survey, 80.0% of the students are generally satisfied with the teaching effect, 45.0% suggest that the basic knowledge content should be strengthened, and 55.0% of them believe that it is necessary to increase the humanistic knowledge related to the professional content.

Abstract Background Kawasaki disease (KD) is a medium vessel vasculitis, of unknown etiology, typically presenting in children younger than 5 years of age. Prolonged fever (at least five days) is a major clinical criterion of KD, while cardiac involvement may occur in up to 25% of patients, generally in the second week of the disease. Case presentation We describe the case of KD developing in a 3-month infant, with an early occurrence of coronary artery aneurysm after only 3 days of fever, complicated by thrombosis, requiring aggressive treatments. Conclusions Time of development of cardiac complications can be different in young infants with KD and both diagnostic criteria and treatment indications should be individualized in this class of age.

Older population migration has become a normal occurrence that requires further systematic attention. The reasons for older migration in contemporary China exhibit a diversified trend. However, existing literature rarely discusses the impact of migration reasons on the settlement intention of the mobile older population. In China, where the aging demographic is increasing, the residence choice of the older floating population with their families presents a significant difference among cities and regions. Therefore, from the perspective of comparative analysis, to address the gap in the literature, there is an urgent need to reveal the influence mechanism of the settlement intention of the floating older population under different categories of reasons for mobility. Such an approach is of great significance for local governments to conduct differentiated management of the floating older population according to local conditions, provide equal health care services for older people, and promote a new wave of urbanization. In addition to continuous aging and urbanization in China, the migration reasons and characteristics of the older migrant population are diversified. While family migration is still the main reason for the mobility of older people in China, there is an increasingly evident demand for off-site pension, which presents new requirements for the government to actively respond to the aging and carry out services for different kinds of migrant older people. This study explores the influence mechanism of two typical mobility reasons (off-site pension and family migration) on the settlement intention of migrant older people. We adopt the multi-level logistic regression model based on the 2017 China Migrant Population Dynamic Survey. This study derives the following main results. First, the settlement intention of off-site older people is significantly promoted, while the intentions of the family accompany-migrated older people are not convincing. The intention of the former is 14.3% higher than the latter. Second, personal and family characteristics (demographic factors, socioeconomic status, social integration status) and inflow characteristics (urban scale, urban public services, urban environment) both affect the settlement intention of migrant older people. Third, there are different mechanisms for the settlement intention of migrant older people with different reasons for migration. The family is the core of the settlement choice for family migration, while the livability of the environment mitigates its effect. Fourth, the settlement choice of the off-site older people depends on the purpose of personal pension. This kind of migrant older people focus more on external conditions such as favorable policies of urban agglomeration and convenient pension facilities. They will be more easily affected by the social network connection of the inflow place. An in-depth understanding of the migration reasons and characteristics of migrant older people can aid in the provision of better public services. The conclusions of this study provide a reference for local governments to carry out differentiated governance of migrant older people, promote new urbanization, and equalize public services.

Seafloor instability and secondary submarine geohazards are widely present in the ocean, posing a threat to submarine infrastructures such as coastal port facilities, offshore drilling platforms, and submarine pipelines and fiber-optic cables. However, formation mechanisms and controlling factors of seafloor instability are still poorly understood. To improve the understanding, based on the history and development of seafloor instability, this study sorts out the common categories, global distribution, and geophysical characteristics, analyzes the formation mechanisms, controlling factors, and engineering geohazards risks, and summarizes popular quantitative analysis methods for seafloor instability. Subsequently, the application and limitations of experimental simulation technology for the slope instability process are discussed. Focused on the disaster mechanism, intelligent analysis of multi-source data, and three-dimensional monitoring of seabed instability, this study proposed the development direction and countermeasures of future seafloor instability research, aiming to provide guiding suggestions for the simulation, prediction, and warning of seafloor instability.

ObjectiveTo analyze the effect of O3 pollution on outpatient visits for respiratory diseases in a district of Shanghai.MethodsWe collected the respiratory disease outpatient data， and atmospheric and meteorological data of from a suburban general hospital in Shanghai from 2015 to 2017. A time-series analysis by generalized additive model was conducted to examine the relationship between O3 pollution and daily outpatient visits.ResultsThe daily outpatient volume for respiratory diseases was 831. The daily 8 h median concentration of O3 was 101.04 μg·m-3. The excess relative risk was 0.461% （95%CI： 0.240%‒0.682%） at lag3. Stratified by gender and age， females， child and the aged had higher risk of respiratory diseases. In the double-pollutant model， PM2.5 and PM10 increased health effects， while CO reduced health effects.ConclusionThe increase of O3 concentration can increase the daily outpatient volume of respiratory diseases.

Fluorescence flow cytometry is a powerful instrument to distinguish cells or particles labelled with high-specificity fluorophores. However, traditional flow cytometry is complex, bulky, and inconvenient for users to adjust fluorescence channels. In this paper, we present a modular fluorescence flow cytometry (M-FCM) system in which fluorescence channels can be flexibly arranged. Modules for particle focusing and fluorescence detection were developed. After hydrodynamical focusing, the cells were measured in the detection modules, which were integrated with in situ illumination and fluorescence detection. The signal-to-noise ratio of the detection reached to 33.2 dB. The crosstalk among the fluorescence channels was eliminated. The M-FCM system was applied to evaluate cell viability in drug screening, agreeing well with the commercial cytometry. The modular cytometry presents several outstanding features: flexibility in setting fluorescence channels, cost efficiency, compact construction, ease of operation, and the potential to upgrade for multifunctional measurements. The modular cytometry provides a multifunctional platform for various biophysical measurements, e.g., electrical impedance and refractive-index detection. The proposed work paves an innovative avenue for the multivariate analysis of cellular characteristics.

Background: The prognosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is poor once it develops to the stage of cardiac impairment. Recent studies have demonstrated that electrocardiogram (ECG), which consists of general ECG and vectorcardiogram (VCG), retains an extremely powerful role in the assessment of patients with reduced left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction. However, data regarding VCG recordings in DMD and its prognostic value for reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of DMD have never been reported. This study aims to describe the characteristics of VCG in children with DMD and to explore the predictive value of VCG for reduced LVEF in children with DMD. Methods: A total of 306 patients with a known diagnosis of DMD confirmed by the genetic test were retrospectively enrolled at our hospital between August 2018 and August 2022. This resulted in a total study group of 486 VCG recordings. Among them, 75 DMD patients who underwent cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) later after one year follow-up were prospectively enrolled. The trend of VCG parameters of DMD patients across the different age span were compared with age-matched normal children. Concordance statistic analysis was further performed to assess the validity of VCG parameters in predicting the occurrence of reduced LVEF in patients with DMD. Results: DMD patients have a significantly higher heart rate, R waves in V1, QRS loop percentage in the right anterior quadrant in the horizontal plane (horizontal quadrant II) and QRS loop percentage in the anterior superior quadrant in the sagittal plane (sagittal quadrant IV) than normal children. Concordance statistic (C-statistic) showed an area under the curve of quadrant IV in the sagittal plane of baseline was 0.704. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve shows that quadrant IV in the sagittal plane of 7.57% was the optimal cutoff with a sensitivity of 53.3% and a specificity of 88.3% for predicting reduced LVEF in DMD patients. Conclusions: Our study firstly showed that QRS loop percentage in the right anterior quadrant in the horizontal plane (horizontal quadrant II) and QRS loop percentage in the anterior superior quadrant in the sagittal plane (sagittal quadrant IV) could be abnormal in DMD boys as early as before 5 years old. Evaluation of the myocardium by VCG in the early age to predict possible cardiac systolic dysfunction may have important implications for the ongoing management of DMD boys.

The eukaryotic microalga Nannochloropsis oceanica represents a promising bioresource for the production of biofuels and pharmaceuticals. Urea, a crucial nutrient for the photosynthetic N. oceanica, stimulates the accumulation of substances such as lipids, which influence growth and physiology. However, the specific mechanisms by which N. oceanica responds and adapts to urea addition remain unknown. High-throughput mRNA sequencing and differential gene expression analysis under control and urea-added conditions revealed significant metabolic changes. This involved the differential expression of 2104 genes, with 1354 being upregulated and 750 downregulated, resulting in the reprogramming of crucial pathways such as carbon and nitrogen metabolism, photosynthesis, and lipid metabolism. The results specifically showed that genes associated with photosynthesis in N. oceanica were significantly downregulated, particularly those related to light-harvesting proteins. Interestingly, urea absorption and transport may depend not only on specialized transport channels such as urease but also on alternative transport channels such as the ABC transporter family and the CLC protein family. In addition, urea caused specific changes in carbon and lipid metabolism. Genes associated with the Calvin cycle and carbon concentration mechanisms were significantly upregulated. In lipid metabolism, the expression of genes associated with lipases and polyunsaturated fatty acid synthesis was highly activated. Furthermore, the expression of several genes involved in the tricarboxylic acid cycle and folate metabolism was enhanced, making important contributions to energy supply and the synthesis and modification of genes and macromolecules. Our observations indicate that N. oceanica actively and dynamically regulates the redistribution of carbon and nitrogen after urea addition, providing references for further research on the effects of urea on N. oceanica.

Background: Hypertrophic scars, an abnormal wound-healing response to burn injuries, are characterized by massive fibroblast proliferation and excessive deposition of extracellular matrix and collagen. 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) is a promising therapy for hypertrophic scar, details of the mechanisms remain to be elucidated. In this study, we aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in ALA-PDT against hypertrophic scar fibroblasts. Methods: The morphologies of hypertrophic scar fibroblasts (HSFs) treated with ALA-PDT were observed under a light microscopy. The viability of HSFs was detected using the CCK-8 assay. HSFs-populated collagen gel contraction assays were conducted to examine the fibroblast contractility and the cytotoxicity of HSFs in 3D collagen tissues were observed using confocal microscopy. The effect of ALA-PDT on TGF-β1/Smad2/3/4 signaling pathway activation and effector gene expression were verified by immunoprecipitation, western blot and real-time quantitative PCR analysis. Results: We observed significant changes in cell morphology after ALA-PDT treatment of HSFs. As ALA concentration and light dose increased, the viability of HSFs significantly decreased. ALA-PDT can significantly alleviate the contractile capacity and promote the death of HSFs induced by TGF-β1 treatment in a three-dimensional collagen culture model. TGF-β1 treatment of HSFs can significantly induce phosphorylation of Smad2/3 (p-Smad2/3) in whole cells, as well as p-Smad2/3 and Smad4 proteins into the nucleus and increase the mRNA levels of collagen 1/3 and α-SMA. ALA-PDT hampers the TGF-β1-Smad2/3/4 signaling pathway activation by inducing K48-linked ubiquitination and degradation of Smad4. Conclusions: Our results provide evidence that ALA-PDT can inhibit fibroblast contraction and promote cell death by inhibiting the activation of the TGF-β1 signaling pathway that mediates hypertrophic scar formation, which may be the basis for the efficacy of ALA-PDT in the treatment of hypertrophic scars.

Significance: Inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal nevus (ILVEN) is an uncommon type of epidermal nevus and is refractory to therapy. We report the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy (PDT) for treating ILVEN with claudication in a young girl. Additional contributions: We thank the patient for granting permission to publish this information. Approach: Aminolaevulinic Acid Hydrochloride (ALA) photodynamic therapy (PDT) was applied six times in 1-month interval. Results: Most lesions and pruritus have subsided markedly, with mild scarring and a marked reduction in claudication. Conclusions: ALA PDT might be an effective and promising treatment for ILVEN in the future.

Abstract Data mining from computational materials database has become a popular strategy to identify unexplored catalysts. Herein, the opportunities and challenges of this strategy are analyzed by investigating a discrepancy between data mining and experiments in identifying low‐cost metal oxide (MO) electrocatalysts. Based on a search engine capable of identifying stable MOs at the pH and potentials of interest, a series of MO electrocatalysts is identified as potential candidates for various reactions. Sb2WO6 attracted the attention among the identified stable MOs in acid. Based on the aqueous stability diagram, Sb2WO6 is stable under oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in acidic media but rather unstable under high‐pH ORR conditions. However, this contradicts to the subsequent experimental observation in alkaline ORR conditions. Based on the post‐catalysis characterizations, surface state analysis, and an advanced pH‐field coupled microkinetic modeling, it is found that the Sb2WO6 surface will undergo electrochemical passivation under ORR potentials and form a stable and 4e‐ORR active surface. The results presented here suggest that though data mining is promising for exploring electrocatalysts, a refined strategy needs to be further developed by considering the electrochemistry‐induced surface stability and activity.

Background: The clinical characteristics and risk factors of infusion reactions (IRs) are inadequately described in clinical practice due to underreported cases. In the present study, we reported the current status of IRs based on an in-hospital pharmacovigilance database of a tertiary care hospital.Methods: Our study conducted a retrospective analysis of drug-induced IRs recorded at an in-hospital pharmacovigilance center between January 2015 to December 2019. The descriptive statistical analysis encompassed main causative agents, clinical manifestations, organ/system involvement and outcome. The severity of IRs was assessed with reference to the CTCAE version 5.0 criteria and we investigated risk factors associated with severe IRs.Results: During the study period, a total of 505 cases of inpatient drug-induced IRs were detected, of which 79.2% (400 cases) were classified as general IRs and 20.8% (105 cases) were categorized as severe IRs. The primary drugs responsible for these reactions were antibiotics (23%, 116 cases), with piperacillin sodium—sulbactam sodium being the most prevalent, followed by antineoplastic agents (18.4%, 93 cases) and traditional Chinese medicine injections (TCMIs) (12.9%, 65 cases). The administration of cefoperazone - sulbactam, mannatide, Shenqi Fuzheng, elemene, and diterpene ginkgolides meglumine resulted in a higher incidence of critical IRs. Among all cases of IRs, 43.2%, 41.2%, and 23.4% showed signs and symptoms of circulation, skin mucosa, and respiratory organs/systems, respectively. 9.1% of cases experienced systemic damage, while 7.1% and 5.9% of cases reported neurological and gastrointestinal related adverse reactions, respectively. The multivariate analysis revealed that alcohol consumption (OR = 2.389%, 95% CI 1.141–5.002, p = 0.021), age over 65 (OR = 1.814%, 95% CI 1.052–3.127, p = 0.032) and the utilization of contrast media (OR = 4.072%, 95% CI 1.903–8.713, p < 0.001) were identified as risk factors for the development of severe IRs.Conclusion: Understanding the clinical characteristics of IRs helps to implement effective pharmaceutical monitoring and appropriate preventive measures for susceptible populations with risk factors.

ABSTRACTCarbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is an important multidrug resistance (MDR) pathogen that threatens human health and is the main source of hospital-acquired infection. Outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) are extracellular vesicles derived from Gram-negative bacteria and contain materials involved in bacterial survival and pathogenesis. They also contribute to cellular communication to nearby or distant recipient cells and influence their functions and phenotypes. In this study, we sought to understand the mechanism of bacterial response to meropenem pressure and explore the relationship between pathogenic proteins and the high pathogenicity of bacteria. We performed whole-genome PacBio sequencing on a clinical CRKP strain, and its OMVs were characterized using nanoparticle tracking analysis, transmission electron microscopy, and proteomic analysis. Thousands of vesicle proteins have been identified in mass spectrometry-based high-throughput proteomics analyses of K. pneumoniae OMVs. Protein functionality analysis showed that the OMVs were predominantly involved in metabolic, intracellular compartments, nucleic acid binding, survival, defense, and antibiotic resistance, such as Chromosome partition protein MukB, 3-methyl-2-oxobutanoate hydroxymethyltransferase, methionine—tRNA ligase, Heat shock protein 60 family chaperone GroEL, and Gamma-glutamyl phosphate reductase. Additionally, a protein-protein interaction network demonstrated that OMVs from meropenem-treated K. pneumoniae showed the highest connectivity in DNA polymerase I, phenylalanine–tRNA ligase beta subunit, DNA-directed RNA polymerase subunit beta, methionine–tRNA ligase, DNA-directed RNA polymerase subunit beta, and DNA-directed RNA polymerase subunit alpha. The OMVs proteome expression profile indicates increased secretion of stress proteins released from meropenem-treated K. pneumoniae, which provides clues for revealing the biogenesis and pathophysiological functions of Gram-negative bacteria OMVs. The significant differentially expressed proteins identified in this study are of great significance for exploring effective control strategies for CRKP infection.IMPORTANCEMeropenem is one of the main antibiotics used in the clinical treatment of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP). This study demonstrated that some important metabolic changes occurred in meropenem-induced CRKP-outer membrane vesicles (OMVs), The OMVs proteome expression profile indicates increased secretion of stress proteins released from meropenem-induced Klebsiella pneumoniae. Furthermore, this is the first study to discuss the protein-protein interaction network of the OMVs released by CRKP, especially under antibiotic stress.

Three reinforcement ratios (0, 50, and 100%) of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) were selected to improve the mechanical properties of recycled brick concrete in this study. Utilizing axial compression test, X-ray diffractometer analysis, the evolution of parameters such as compressive strength, peak stress, and elastic modulus of reclaimed concrete were analyzed. The reclaimed brick concrete’ stress distribution and damage mechanism were revealed. The aggregate internal failure and CFRP reinforcement effect mechanism are discussed. The finite element model of red brick concrete reinforced by CFRP under uniaxial compression is established. The constitutive model for CFRP-reinforced recycled brick concrete is proposed.

Fecal DNA test has emerged as a non-invasive alternative for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening in average-risk population. However, there is currently insufficient evidence in China to demonstrate the effectiveness of population-based CRC screening using fecal DNA based test. Here, a large-scale real-world study for CRC screening was implemented in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. A total of 98,683 subjects aged between 45 and 60 years were screened by a fecal DNA test (ColoTect®) which detected methylation status of SDC2, ADHFE1, and PPP2R5C. Participants who tested positive were advised to receive diagnostic colonoscopy. 4449 (4.5%) subjects tested positive for fecal DNA test, and 3200 (71.9%) underwent colonoscopy. Among these, 2347 (73.3%) had abnormal colonoscopy findings, of which 1330 (56.7%) subjects received pathological diagnosis. Detection rates for CRC and advanced precancerous lesions were 1.3% and 2.3%, respectively. Detection rates for nonadvanced adenomas and polyps were 14.0% and 21.6%, respectively. 28.0% of all colonoscopies showed colorectal neoplasm but lack pathological diagnosis. 6.1% showed other abnormalities such as enteritis. This paper firstly classifies the ideological and political education course field dimensions, studies the specific composition of the learning field in three dimensions: information, technology and emotion, and discusses the necessity of learning field optimization in secondary school Civics class. Secondly, on the multivariate data chain network, the MIFS model is proposed to extract the ideological and political teaching feature values, followed by the LSTM neural network to train the information related to students’ Civics classroom contents and the average function of adaptive excitation function is used to replace the excitation function in the LSTM neural network to achieve the effect of improving the output accuracy. Then, the characteristics of learners and learning resources are parametrically represented, followed by an experimental analysis of ideological and political education based on multivariate data chain networks using evaluation indexes based on the data set. The results show that there is no difference between the MAE values of CNN and LSTM except for sample one, but the MSE values of LSTM are both lower than CNN, and LSTM is more stable than CNN, indicating that it is reasonable to choose LSTM when ideological and political education based on multivariate data chain network. This study provides a reference and reference for future field optimization in ideology and political science classes.

Objective DJ-1 is an oncoprotein secreted by cancer cells. However, the physiological and pathological significance of DJ-1 secretion is not clearly understood. This study investigated the clinical value of serum DJ-1 in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Methods The study involved 224 LUAD patients, 110 patients with benign pulmonary disease and 100 healthy controls from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. We detected the expression of DJ-1 in lung cell lines in vitro. Meanwhile, serum concentrations of DJ-1, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), and cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA21-1) were measured. The diagnostic performance of LUAD was obtained using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. There are dangers and uncertainties in China's domestic financial market due to the ongoing effect of the global economic climate and the impact of the new coronavirus pandemic. Nonetheless, the conventional financial sector, which is controlled by commercial banks, continues to have a dominant position in China's financial system, with the traditional credit business model serving as its primary business model. As a result, the primary subject of this essay is commercial banks, a common kind of financial organization. The combination of the Malmquist Index Model with the new network DEA model takes into account the real circumstances faced by Chinese commercial banks. The three phases of the credit business operation process of commercial banks are capital buildup, loan issuing, and profit generation. To observe the effects of recent domestic market uncertainties and the high risk of emergencies like the epidemic on traditional financial institutions dominated by banks, this paper measures the efficiency of credit business of 26 listed banks in China from 2016 to 2022 and analyzes the operational efficiency of credit business of Chinese commercial banks from both static and dynamic perspectives. As a result, Chinese commercial banks and other established financial institutions are better equipped to reduce risks and uncertainties and support the steady growth of the country's financial sector.

As an emerging art form, the development trend and impact of digital media art have attracted much attention, and the introduction of CiteSpace tools provides a new perspective for digital media art research, making it possible to analyze the scientometrics of this field. Relevant documents in Web of Science database were selected and analyzed by CiteSpace version 5.6.R4 for research collaboration and thematic co-occurrence networks. The results show that between 2004 and 2022, the total number of digital media arts research literature is 359, of which the literature volume from 2014 to 2022 accounts for 66.85%, and the average annual number of publications is about 27, reflecting the rapid growth of research in this field. Keyword analysis shows that “digital media art”, “digital technology”, “cultural industry”, “education “ and so on have become research hotspots. Digital media art research is gradually shifting from technology and nature exploration to university discipline construction and application practice, showing the trend of cross-border cooperation of disciplines.

We collect Chinese A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2022 as samples and use the multi-period difference-in-difference model (DID) to study the impact of multilingual ESG report disclosure on the enthusiasm of foreign investors. We find that Chinese companies disclose ESG reports in both Chinese and English stimulate the enthusiasm of foreign investors to hold shares. The main manifestations are the expansion of the company's foreign shareholding quota and the increase in the number of shareholders. Further research show that disclosure of multilingual ESG reports makes up for the readability of company annual reports for foreign investors. In the case of companies with poor analyst attention and comparability of accounting information, and companies that hire non-big four auditing firms to audit financial reports, multilingual ESG report disclosures are more positive for foreign shareholdings. The participation of the central investor service center in corporate governance is weak, the degree of regional cultural integration is low, and the disclosure of English ESG reports by Chinese enterprises is conducive to promoting the enthusiasm of foreign shareholding. The research conclusions provide theoretical guidance and empirical reference for enterprises to expand information disclosure methods to foreign investors and attract overseas capital investment.

The optimal layout solution is sought by adjusting the layout to generate a realistic 3D model of the teaching scene and to realize the construction of the VR interactive scene. In recent years, the expansive utilization of data mining techniques has revolutionized various fields, including the analysis of dance videos. This study leverages data mining to meticulously capture and analyze dance movements, thereby facilitating the enhancement and correction of dancers’ techniques. Within the scope of this research, images of dance movements extracted from videos are subjected to preprocessing, which involves grayscaling and thresholding, to prepare them for further analysis. Building on these processed images, this paper introduces a novel multi-feature dance action recognition approach. This method integrates several distinct features—directional gradient histogram features, optical flow directional histogram features, and audio features—employing a linear weighting scheme within a multi-core learning framework. The efficacy of the proposed approach is demonstrated through its performance on the FolkDance dance dataset, where it achieves a 3.5% increase in fusion accuracy over the traditional Dance Style Identification (DSI) method. Additionally, when compared with the Multi-Feature Learning-Combined (MFL-C) method, our approach shows an improvement of 0.6% in fusion accuracy. This research establishes a viable method for the recognition and classification of dance movements, laying a robust foundation for further inquiry and practical applications in this domain.

BackgroundAdverse drug reactions (ADRs) represent a significant barrier to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. Cardiovascular drugs, including antihypertensive drugs, lipid-lowering drugs, and antithrombotic drugs, are among the most prescribed medications in the primary care setting.ObjectivesTo estimate the prevalence of cardiovascular drug-related ADRs consultations in United Kingdom (UK) primary care and identify risk factors of these ADRs.MethodsThis was a cross-sectional study of cardiovascular drug users between 2000-2019 using UK IQVIA Medical Research Data. ADRs consultations were identified using database screening method employing standardised designated codes. The overall and annual age-standardised prevalence was estimated using direct standardisation method using 2019 mid-year UK population. Risk factors of ADRs consultations were estimated using logistic regression model stratified by therapeutic areas.ResultsThe standardised prevalence of consultations related to cardiovascular drugs ADRs was 10.60 (95% CI. 10.46, 10.75) per 1000 patients. Patients aged 70-79 years had the highest occurrence of ADRs consultations. The most frequently drug classes implicated in the ADRs consultations were statins (n = 9,993 events, 27.09%), beta-blockers (n = 8,538 events, 23.15%), ACEIs/ARBs (n = 8,345 events, 22.62%), and aspirin (n = 6,482 events, 17.57%). Risk factors of ADRs consultations were previous history of cardiovascular diseases, e.g., myocardial infarction and stroke; advanced age, comorbidities; diabetes and dyslipidaemia; and polypharmacy.ConclusionsThe burden of cardiovascular drug-related ADRs consultations in primary care was considerable. Statins, beta-blockers, ACEIs/ARBs, and aspirin were the most frequently implicated drug classes. Closer clinical monitoring should be performed for patients affected by the ADRs to mitigate the risk of suboptimal treatment outcomes.

When power grid faults occur, especially complex faults, there are many uncertainties such as switch and protection mis-operation, the power system response will be complicated, which causes many difficulties in power grid fault diagnosis. This paper uses the word2vec model vectorization to process the digitized alarm information during grid faults. The processed fault features are input into the DPCNN model to extract global features of the alarm information. Then, the fully connected layer is used to classify grid faults accurately. Subsequently, a convolution module based on the self-attention mechanism is proposed to achieve accurate prediction of grid faults, and the ReLU function and Dropout strategy are used to realize the optimization of the grid fault diagnosis and prediction model. The simulation model test results reveal that the proposed model can effectively diagnose and predict grid faults, with an average accuracy of 97.05% and 95.93%, respectively. The response time for fault diagnosis in this paper’s model for the empirical application of grid diagnosis is reduced from 6.32 minutes to 0.96 seconds, significantly improving diagnosis efficiency compared to the traditional method. This paper provides an effective method for diagnosing and predicting power grid faults and a solution for improving the management of power grids.

This article presents an innovative method for predicting transformer temperature and faults in distribution substations using a digital twin model combined with deep learning techniques. By constructing a digital model of the transformer, real-time monitoring and precise simulation of its operating status are achieved. In the prediction process, convolutional neural networks (CNN) and long short-term memory networks (LSTM) are fused to mine data features deeply and predict the future state of the transformer. The results show that this method demonstrates significant advantages in transformer temperature and fault prediction, with an accuracy rate as high as 96.55%. Moreover, the error rate of this method has been significantly reduced through comparative experimental verification. In addition to ensuring high accuracy, this method achieves a false alarm rate of less than 0.12% and an average detection time of only 1.35 seconds, further highlighting its effectiveness in practical applications. Therefore, the transformer temperature and fault prediction system developed in this article for distribution substations can effectively improve the stability and safety of the electrical power system (EPS) and provide new and powerful support for the intelligent management and maintenance of transformers.

Music resource-sharing platforms can increase students’ employment paths and enhance their employment ability. Load prediction and resource scheduling algorithms are designed in this paper to construct a music resource-sharing platform based on cloud computing technology. The mean predictor’s predictions are combined with the GRU-CNN model’s predictions, and the weighted average is calculated to enhance the accuracy and stability of the predictions. Then, the integrated migration scheduling method is designed to make the load of the cloud environment more balanced and the resource utilization more reasonable by the four processes of migration triggering, container selection, node selection, and container migration in a coarse-grained dynamic scheduling approach with nodes as objects. Following the completion of the construction, the algorithm that was designed is evaluated for load prediction and resource scheduling, and regression analysis is performed to examine the role of music resource-sharing platforms in promoting employment and entrepreneurship. It is found that after the resource scheduling by the algorithm in this paper, the node operation tension is greatly alleviated, and the CPU resource utilization and memory resource utilization of node Node1 are reduced from 80.96% and 62.69% to 58.03% and 43.36%, respectively. The resources of the low-load node Node4 are effectively utilized, the memory resource usage rate has increased from 6.86% to 49.52%, and the resource usage of each node in the cluster is more balanced and reasonable. At a statistical level of 1%, the impact of music resource-sharing platform development on employment quality is 0.194. In contrast, the industrial structure does not significantly contribute to the quality of employment, indicating that under the current economic situation, emerging economic forms such as music resource-sharing platforms are the main driving force to improve the quality of employment and the development of music resource sharing platforms generally improves the quality of labor force employment.

Tangeretin (Tan), a citrus flavonoid, possesses a strong anti-tumor efficacy in various human cancers. However, the precise role of Tan in the development of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remains unclear. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis was performed to observe the Tan-related genes in Tan-treated TE-1 cells. The direct relationship between GLI family zinc finger 2 (GLI2) and the promoter of glycoprotein non-metastatic melanoma protein B (GPNMB) was predicted by bioinformatics analysis and validated by luciferase reporter and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays. Cell survival after Tan treatment was assessed by CCK8 assay. Gene expression levels were evaluated by a qRT-PCR, western blot, or immunofluorescence method. Cell migration and invasion were detected by wound-healing and transwell assays. The function of Tan in vivo was examined using xenograft studies. Our data indicated anti-migration and anti-invasion functions of Tan in ESCC cells in vitro. Tan also diminished tumor growth in vivo. Mechanistically, Tan diminished the expression and transcriptional activity of GLI2 in ESCC cells. Silencing of GLI2 resulted in decreased expression of GPNMB by inhibiting GPNMB transcription via the binding site at the GPNMB promoter at position +(1539-1550). Moreover, Tan down-regulated GPNMB expression in ESCC cells, and re-expression of GPNMB reversed anti-migration and anti-invasion functions of Tan in ESCC cells. Our findings uncover anti-migration and anti-invasion effects of Tan in ESCC cells by down-regulating GPNMB by suppressing GLI2-mediated GPNMB transcription, providing new evidence that Tan can function as a therapeutic agent against ESCC.

Today, the pressing climate issues, including global warming and the emergence of a complex climate, continue to test cement-based polymers in the civil engineering industry. As a result, there is a growing demand for higher performance, renewable resources, and reduced carbon dioxide production, leading to a shift in the traditional industrial revolution. Composite nano concrete has emerged as an effective solution to address the challenges related to concrete mechanics and durability, aligning with the principles of sustainable development goals. The research focuses on utilizing composite nano-modified concrete to enhance the life cycle of structures. This nano-modified concrete incorporates Nano-SiO₂ (NS) and Nano-CaCO3 (NC) particles to create a new composite nano-concrete structure called NSC concrete. The research paper explores different dosages of composite nano concrete, specifically 2.5 %, 3.0 %, and 3.5 %, denoted as NSC25, NSC30, and NSC35, respectively. It examines the performance of the composite nano concrete under various temperature conditions, including 25 °C, 200 °C, 400 °C, and 600 °C, to simulate real-world scenarios and evaluate its value-based applications. The article analyzes multiple aspects, including mechanical properties, durability, visual appearance, and economic benefits of composite nano concrete. It also assesses NSC concrete's temperature dissipation capacity and insulation level and investigates the interfacial transition zone influenced by nanoparticles and temperature. The results indicate that the new composite nano concrete retains substantial enhancements in mechanical properties, with a maximum increase of 1.22 % in splitting strength and up to 45.69 % improvement in flexural strength at a temperature of 600 °C. Medicines can be taken by various routes of administration. These can impact the effects and perceptions of medicines. The literature about individuals' preferences for and perceptions of the different routes of administration is sparse, but indicates a potential influence of culture. Our aim was to determine: (i) any association between one's culture and one's preferred route of medicine administration and (ii) individual perceptions of pain, efficacy, speed of action and acceptability when medicines are swallowed or placed in the mouth, under the tongue, in the nose, eye, ear, lungs, rectum, vagina, on the skin, or areinjected.A cross-sectional, questionnaire-based survey of adults was conducted in 21 countries and regions of the world, namely, Tunisia, Ghana, Nigeria, Turkey, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Malta, Brazil, Great Britain, United States, India, Serbia, Romania, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, mainland China and Estonia, using the Inglehart–Welzel cultural map to ensure coverage across all cultures. Participants scored the pain/discomfort, efficacy, speed of onset and acceptability of the different routes of medicine administration and stated their preferred route. Demographic information was collected.A total of 4435 participants took part in the survey. Overall, the oral route was the most preferred route, followed by injection, while the rectal route was the least preferred. While the oral route was the most preferred in all cultures, the percentage of participants selecting this route varied, from 98% in Protestant Europe to 50% in the African-Islamic culture. A multinomial logistic regression model revealed a number of predictors for the preferred route. Injections were favoured in the Baltic, South Asia, Latin America and African-Islamic cultures while dermal administration was favoured in Catholic Europe, Baltic and Latin America cultures. A marked association was found between culture and the preference for, and perceptions of the different routes by which medicines are taken. This applied to even the least favoured routes (vaginal and rectal). Only women were asked about the vaginal route, and our data shows that the vaginal route was slightly more popular than the rectal one.

BackgroundGastric cancer is a common cancer worldwide and is responsible for over one million new cases in 2020 and an estimated 769,000 deaths, ranking fifth for incidence and fourth for mortality globally. Incidence rates are highest in Eastern Asia and Eastern Europe. Gastric cancer is highly heterogeneous and progresses rapidly. The prognosis of gastric cancer with liver metastases is poor, and clinical treatment remains challenging. Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) positivity is correlated to a bad prognosis for gastric cancer. Trastuzumab combined with systemic chemotherapy is the preferred treatment for HER2-positive advanced gastric cancer. However, intravenous chemotherapy has severe systemic toxicity, which reduces the local drug concentration and tumor uptake rate, and the effect is unsatisfactory.Case summaryWe reported a 66-year-old patient with HER2-positive advanced gastric cancer with jaundice due to multiple liver metastases, after 6 cycles of trastuzumab combined with hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC), the tumor retracted significantly, the jaundice subsided, and the patient recovered well. The patient achieved disease control with an intensive regimen followed by less toxic maintenance therapy. Trastuzumab combined with capecitabine maintenance therapy followed up for more than 16 months.ConclusionHAIC plus trastuzumab may be a tolerable treatment option for patients with severe liver metastases from HER2-positive gastric cancer to achieve local control and prolong survival.

Temperature effects have a great influence on the mechanical behavior of cable-stayed bridges, especially for long-span bridges, which have significant time-varying and spatial effects. In this paper, the temperature characteristics of multi-tower cable-stayed bridge are obtained by data acquisition with wireless acquisition module. The test results show that: the daily temperature-time curves of atmospheric temperature and structural temperature are similar to sinewaves with obvious peaks and troughs; structure temperature and atmospheric temperature have obvious hysteresis; longitudinal displacement, transverse displacement and vertical of mid-span beam are negatively correlated with atmospheric temperature; the temperature distribution of the cable tower is not uniform, and the maximum temperature difference of the section is 23.7°C considering 98% of the upper limit value; the longitudinal, transverse and vertical displacement of cable tower and the cable force is negatively correlated with atmospheric temperature, and the relationship between cable force and atmospheric temperature is a cubic function rather than linear function.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) have attracted interest in serving as large-scale electrochemical energy storage devices because of their high energy storage capacity, low cost, outstanding operational safety, and superior environmental friendliness. In the past two decades, enormous efforts have been devoted to all components of AZIBs, including cathode materials, Zn anodes, and electrolytes. This brief review first outlines the challenges of realizing practical ZIBs for cathodes, anodes, and electrolytes. Then, we focus on recent representative and promising electrolyte addictive studies. We further present our perspectives on critical issues to be addressed to enable practical AZIBs.

This study presents a design strategy to enhance the high-temperature creep resistance of Ni-based superalloys. This strategy focuses on two principles: (1) minimizing the dimensions of γ/γ′ interfaces and γ channels by reducing the size of the γ′ phase; (2) key alloy composition control to strengthen the heterostructure γ/γ′ interfaces. This strategy proved very effective by the designed three superalloys’ prolonged creep lives. An alloy exhibits ultra-long creep life by 388 h at 1100°C/137 MPa, which runs at the highest level among those alloys without Ru addition. With Ru addition, an alloy that lasted for 748 h with a creep strain of ~6% at 1110°C/137 MPa is developed. This study provides a new route of high-temperature creep lives through heterostructure interfacial design with size effects and key alloying elements.

Objective: To explore whether Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP)-Epac1 signaling is activated in 1-Desamino-8-D-arginine-Vasopressin-induced Endolymphatic Hydrops (DDAVP-induced EH) and to provide new insight for further in-depth study of DDAVP-induced EH. Methods: Eighteen healthy, red-eyed guinea pigs (36 ears) weighing 200–350 g were randomly divided into three groups: the control group, which received intraperitoneal injection of sterile saline (same volume as that in the other two groups) for 7 consecutive days; the DDAVP-7d group, which received intraperitoneal injection of 10 mg/mL/kg DDAVP for 7 consecutive days; and the DDAVP-14d group, which received intraperitoneal injection of 10 μg/mL/kg DDAVP for 14 consecutive days. After successful modeling, all animals were sacrificed, and cochlea tissues were collected to detect the mRNA and protein expression of the exchange protein directly activated by cAMP-1 and 2 (Epac1, Epac2), and Repressor Activator Protein-1 (Rap1) by Reverse Transcription (RT)-PCR and western blotting, respectively. Abstract Background More lung cancer cases are becoming diagnosed earlier in recent years. The diagnosis is often accompanied by fear of progression (FoP). There is a clear research gap in the existing literature on FoP and the most frequent concerns in newly diagnosed lung cancer patients. Objective To identify the status and factors related to FoP in newly diagnosed Chinese lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer resection. Methods A cross-sectional design with convenience sampling was used in this study. Participants (N = 188) with newly diagnosed lung cancer (≤ 6 months) at one hospital in Zhengzhou were recruited. A demographic questionnaire, Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form, Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, and Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire were used to assess characteristics, FoP, social support, coping style, and patient illness perceptions. Multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with FoP. Results The mean score of FoP was 35.39 ± 8.03. There are 56.4% of the patients (scores ≥ 34) have a clinically dysfunctional level of FoP. Cultural memory is a spiritual, inner, and middle world composed of self-consciousness, memory, and behavior that expresses the cultural phenomenon, local emotions, and identity generated by human practice in the present world space. Geography pays more attention to the human-land relationship and spatial perception in the formation of cultural memory and constructs a unique cultural memory space. This space is the agglomeration of figurative cultural relics in space, as well as the spiritual representation of non-figurative places, such as art, text, and folklore in space. By systematically analyzing the theory of cultural memory, this study summarizes the process of evolution and development context of cultural memory. Based on 1,527 key domestic and international studies on geography, this study analyzes the main content and progress of global cultural memory space research from the perspective of keyword co-occurrence clustering, theme path evolution, and research trend, with the assistance of CiteSpace—the bibliometrics and visualization tool. By reviewing the frontier hot spots of cultural memory space research at home and abroad, this study aims to construct a research paradigm of cultural memory from the perspective of geography, improve the research methods of cultural memory, and provide a reference for the local application and multidisciplinary integration of cultural memory theory. The analysis results focus the research topics of foreign cultural memory space primarily on: 1) the memory representation of the landscape of daily life; and 2) political and ritual studies in memory. Domestic research topics primarily include: 1) cultural and local studies in collective and social memory; 2) research on urban and rural memory carried by space; and 3) research on heritage memory reproduction, promoted by cultural tourism. The literature on cultural memory space at home and abroad has gradually increased in recent years, as has the attention paid to memorial landscape, heritage buildings, ritual celebrations, war trauma, and national memory; however, the research on cultural memory space has not formed a specific theoretical paradigm. Most of the literature only focuses on the integration of cultural memory and other fields, and relatively few studies address the connotation of cultural memory space, media conversion mechanisms, and spatial identification methods. The perspective of the content and trends in domestic and foreign research indicates that Western scholars pay more attention to the study of migration, rights, free will, women, power politics, and war trauma. The focus on space is mainly on cities, emotions, and rights. Domestic geographers focus on deconstructing regionalized and China-seized cultural memory and local identity from the intangible carrier of memory. Most studies are based on obvious policy orientations. War sites, red tourist sites, traditional villages, characteristic folk customs, and festival ceremonies have become important themes in the study of cultural memory space. In the future, geography research should depict the practical process of text, ritual, and language through non-representational means and re-introduce memory into human research in a materialized way. Simultaneously, the connotation of urban and rural cultural memory should be clearly defined, and heritage, immigration, and tourism should be adopted as the new themes of cultural memory space research through digital images.

Charge transfer plasmon (CTP) modes arise when metallic nanoparticle dimers are connected by a conductive junction. This offers a unique opportunity to explore electron transport at optical frequencies as well as to attain narrow plasmon resonances that can be broadly modulated from visible to IR regimes, implying their potentials for applications in single-molecule electronics and sensing. This article showcases recent developments in theory and applications of charge transfer plasmon resonances (CTPRs) in various configurations of conductively linked plasmonic nanodimers. In particular, we give a due attention to exploiting ultratunable spectral features of charge transfer plasmon resonances for developing multifunctional plasmonic sensors for bulk, surface, gas and molecular sensing applications. We also discuss the implications of the charge and energy transfer between two plasmonic nanoparticles linked by sub-nanometer thick self-assembled monolayers for single-molecule conductance sensing and molecular electronics. In addition to the well-established plasmonic sensing schemes based on propagating and localized surface plasmon resonances, charge transfer plasmon resonance sensors may open up a new route in efforts to develop multifunctional sensing technologies.
