A literature review of harmful substances formed in arc welding of copper and its alloys is presented. Literature data on studying emissions of welding aerosols in welding of copper and copper alloys are considered. It is shown that to create new grades of welding materials that would satisfy not only their welding technology, but also sanitary and hygienic characteristics, it is necessary to continue the study of chemical composition and levels of emissions of welding aerosols using modern standardized international procedures. The article contains a list of introduced specimens of the genus Lonicera L. in the collection fund of the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute. The PABSI collection includes 50 specimens of introduced plants of the genus Lonicera, belonging to 16 species, 8 intraspecific taxa and 2 hybrids. The age of collection honeysuckles is from 8 to 82 years. Most of the samples of honeysuckle surveyed are viable and are distinguished by high decorative qualities, winter-hardy and retain their vital form. The most viable, promising for introduction and have high decorative qualities are L. involucratа and L. caerulea. The study is one of the stages of a comprehensive description of plants states when introduced into the conditions of the Far North.

The atmospheric corrosion resistance of metals can be reached by the formation of ultrathin protective films on their surface. Over recent years, a fundamentally new feasibility of the nanodimension films on metals capable of ensuring high atmospheric corrosion resistance of metals at least for the period of transportation and in-process storage of the metals was studied. The method of formation of such films by semivolatile nontoxic compounds capable of being adsorbed on metal surface from gas phase at increased temperature (chamber inhibitors) was proposed for this purpose. It is based on the use of such low-volatile organic inhibitors, which are prone to chemisorption on protected metal, and, as a consequence, can provide the stability of the adsorbed layers and long protection after-effect. It was shown by the complex of accelerated corrosion, electrochemical, and optical techniques that the treatment of zinc by vapors of low-volatile corrosion inhibitors at increased temperature and suitable compilation of the reagents results in the formation of the adsorption film with the effect of the long protection after-effect. The method of component integration was tested in the course of studies in typical biogeocenoses of the north of Western Siberia. This method as applied for separate horizons made it possible not only to estimate the contribution of different sources to the total efflux of CO2 from soils but also to evaluate the participation of horizons in soil respiration. Root respiration contributed to about 14 ± 3% of the CO2 efflux from the permafrost-affected peat soil (Hemic Cryic Histosol) and to about 29 ± 6% of the CO2 efflux from the tonguing podzol (Glossic Albic Rustic Podzol (Arenic)). Histosol was characterized by a higher storage of total (organic and inorganic) carbon (26 kg C/m2), extractable carbon (Cextr) (32 g C/m2), and microbial carbon (Cmic) (43 g C/m2). Its upper horizon (TO) contained about 50% of the total soil storage of Cmic and 100% of the total storage of roots (up to 300 g/m2). It had the maximum activity of microbiota and contributed to more than 70% of the total efflux of CO2 from the active layer (on average, 35 cm in thickness) of Cryic Histosol. Podzol was characterized by the low storage of total carbon (6 kg C/m2), considerable storage of Cmic (38 g C/m2), and much higher microbial activity. This circumstance, together with a tenfold higher storage of the roots (up to 3000 g C/m2) and favorable temperature regime specified high values of the gross production of CO2 and its emission from the Podzol surface exceeding the corresponding values for the Cryic Histosol by three–five times. The mineral profile of Podzol contributed to about 20% of the total efflux of CO2 from this soil (on average, about 38 cm in thickness). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article considers the conceptual foundations of rational nature management as a key reference point for the economic transformation of production relations. In the conditions of the modern world economy, characterised by the growing environmental crisis and limited natural resources, rational nature management is the most important factor of sustainable development. The authors analyze historical aspects of the evolution of production relations and identify the main stages of integration of environmental criteria into economic models. The aim of the study is to identify optimal mechanisms and tools that promote the harmonization of economic activity with environmental requirements. The study considers approaches to the formation of environmentally-oriented production processes and natural resource management at the level of enterprises and the national economy as a whole. It also analyses examples of successful integration of environmental principles into production practices in various countries and regions. Special attention is paid to the analysis of legislative and regulatory frameworks that ensure the implementation of the principles of rational nature management in the economy. The article offers recommendations for improving government policy and corporate strategies in the field of ecology; it also discusses the prospects for further development of environmentally oriented production models.

As a result of the evaluation, the plants’ inventory metrics were determined, a visual diagnosis of the trees’ condition was performed, and recommendations for further measures were formulated.

The authors of the article invite readers to discuss issues related to the success of intercultural communication, and also make their additions to the very concept of “intercultural communication”, pointing out the need to consider it not only and not so much as the interaction of representatives of different countries, but also representatives of different cultures within one country, based on a comparison of their geographical, linguistic, educational, sociological and psychological characteristics. The article also talks about the increasingly dense presence of artificial intelligence systems in the education system and the role it can play in the development of successful communication skills. The authors of the article argue that the best way to acquire communication skills is to train in a simulated environment, since such complex skills are best acquired through experiential learning using conversational systems or chatbots, since artificial intelligence-enabled tools can listen to conversations and provide the missing information. or useful information. The authors of the article conclude that the potential of using artificial intelligence to improve intercultural communication and business communication has not yet been fully realized and believe that carefully designed research and development in this area can lead to the creation of new tools that promote more effective and harmonious intercultural communication in educational environment.

This paper analyzes an important and urgent problem that is the relationship between investments in nature, represented by environmental capital and economic growth. In the context of sustainable development and environmental conservation, interest in this topic is becoming increasingly significant. The paper examines the main theoretical concepts related to the impact of environmental capital on the economy, as well as presents the results of empirical studies confirming or refuting hypotheses about the positive impact of investments in nature on economic growth. This analysis allows us to identify key aspects of the interaction between environmental capital and economic development, which can serve as a basis for the development of effective strategies and policies in the field of sustainable development. The article also analyzes various approaches to measuring environmental capital and its impact on economic growth, taking into account the specifics of different regions and countries. Examples of successful investment strategies in nature are discussed, as well as obstacles and challenges facing the adoption of such measures.
