Sonar sound datasets are of significant importance in the domains of underwater surveillance and marine research as they enable experts to discern intricate patterns within the depths of the water. Nevertheless, the task of classifying sonar sound datasets continues to pose significant challenges. In this study, we present a novel approach aimed at enhancing the precision and efficacy of sonar sound dataset classification. The integration of deep long-short-term memory (DLSTM) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) models is employed in order to capitalize on their respective advantages while also utilizing distinctive feature engineering techniques to achieve the most favorable outcomes. Although DLSTM networks have demonstrated effectiveness in tasks involving sequence classification, attaining their optimal performance necessitates careful adjustment of hyperparameters. While traditional methods such as grid and random search are effective, they frequently encounter challenges related to computational inefficiencies. This study aims to investigate the unexplored capabilities of the fuzzy slime mould optimizer (FUZ-SMO) in the context of LSTM hyperparameter tuning, with the objective of addressing the existing research gap in this area. Drawing inspiration from the adaptive behavior exhibited by slime moulds, the FUZ-SMO proposes a novel approach to optimization. The amalgamated model, which combines CNN, LSTM, fuzzy, and SMO, exhibits a notable improvement in classification accuracy, outperforming conventional LSTM architectures by a margin of 2.142%. This model not only demonstrates accelerated convergence milestones but also displays significant resilience against overfitting tendencies.

- Abstract
Document recommendation systems for locating relevant literature have mostly relied on methods developed a decade ago. This is largely due to the lack of a large offline gold-standard benchmark of relevant documents that cover a variety of research fields such that newly developed literature search techniques can be compared, improved and translated into practice. To overcome this bottleneck, we have established the RElevant LIterature SearcH consortium consisting of more than 1500 scientists from 84 countries, who have collectively annotated the relevance of over 180 000 PubMed-listed articles with regard to their respective seed (input) article/s. The majority of annotations were contributed by highly experienced, original authors of the seed articles. The collected data cover 76% of all unique PubMed Medical Subject Headings descriptors. No systematic biases were observed across different experience levels, research fields or time spent on annotations. More importantly, annotations of the same document pairs contributed by different scientists were highly concordant. We further show that the three representative baseline methods used to generate recommended articles for evaluation (Okapi Best Matching 25, Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency and PubMed Related Articles) had similar overall performances. Additionally, we found that these methods each tend to produce distinct collections of recommended articles, suggesting that a hybrid method may be required to completely capture all relevant articles. The established database server located at https://relishdb.ict.griffith.edu.au is freely available for the downloading of annotation data and the blind testing of new methods. We expect that this benchmark will be useful for stimulating the development of new powerful techniques for title and title/abstract-based search engines for relevant articles in biomedical science. © The Author(s) 2019.

There are numerous models of data envelopment analysis (DEA) for solving the efficiency evaluation a set of homogeneous Decision-Making Units (DMUs) that use similar sources to produce similar outputs. However, the efficiency boundary in these models is very sensitive to outliers and random factors. In this way, researchers have always sought a method that, in addition to having the high exibility of nonparametric methods, compensates for the weaknesses of this view. The approach suggested by scholars in this regard is the use of a combination of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and DEA. In this paper, a new method of combining ANN and DEA (ANN-DEA) presented in which the input and output values for a large number of DMUs determined as neural network inputs. It can be seen that the use of the neural network to solve the data envelopment analysis problem does not require solving the model for each DMU, and therefore compared with the conventional method, in the proposed algorithm processing time and memory usage significantly reduced. We have also compared the new model with the existing approach of ANN-DEA. To illustrate the ability of the proposed methodology some case studies are used, including a set of 500 Iranian bank branches. The results indicate a high accuracy and less computational time of the proposed hybrid model and have practical outcomes for decision makers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

X-ray crystallography helps determine the structure of an uniform monobridged mu-azido chain ((Ni(Me2(14)-1,3-dieneN4)(mu-N3))n)(ClO4)n, where Me2(14)-1,3-dieneN4 is the macrocycle 2,3-dimethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-1,3-diene. Magnetic susceptibility study helps analyze the magnetic behavior of the chain. Molecular orbital extended Huckel calculations help correlate the bond parameters with magnetic susceptibility data.

Two differing catena formulas have been used to prepare and examine two novel monodimensional (mu-azido) nickel(II) complexes. The monoclinic crystalline structure of (C7H20N7Ni)n(ClO4)n and the orthorhombic crystalline structure of (C8H22N7Ni)n(ClO4)n reveal varying space group values. The mu-azido groups are in trans positions in both complexes, and the nickel atoms are positioned in an octahedral surrounding. The heat changes the molar susceptibility, revealing the magnetic characteristics of the complexes which are similar to those of an antiferromagnetically coupled nickel(II) standard chain. A sequence of analogous processes reveals the magneto-structural correlations.

Background and Objectives: Salmonella contamination of broiler breeder farms is of great importance regarding transmission of the bacteria through the production chain of poultry meat. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and management related factors of Salmonella contamination in broiler breeder flocks in Iran. Methods: This cross sectional study was carried out between 2013 and 2014 in 23 provinces of Iran. Fecal samples were obtained from 139 broiler breeder farms and were subjected to standard bacteriological tests for Salmonella isolation. The serogroups of isolated Salmonella were determined using standard serological tests. Relevant information of sampled holdings was acquired from the GIS system and used for risk factor detection. Results: The prevalence of Salmonella contamination in broiler breeder holdings was 7.9% and the more positive samples were from Tehran and Fars provinces. The flock age (P = 0.019) and the number of poultry houses in the farm (P = 0.037) were major risk factors of Salmonella contamination in broiler breeder farms. Conclusion: This investigation showed that the prevalence of Salmonella contamination in broiler breeder farms was relatively high. It is necessary to establish an appropriate program for controlling Salmonella contamination in broiler breeder farms. Regular sampling for early detection of contaminated farms would be very important in this case. Sampling from old flocks should be the first priority.

TERT ,melanoma ,telomere length ,promoter mutations - Abstract
Telomere repeats at chromosomal ends, critical for genomic integrity, undergo age-dependent attrition and telomere length has been associated with different disorders including cancers. In this study, based on 1469 patients and 1158 healthy controls, we show a statistically significant (P =6x10(-10)) association between increased telomere length and melanoma risk. Mendelian randomization, using 5 telomere length-associated polymorphisms, ruled out confounding factors or reverse causality and showed association between increased telomere length and melanoma risk with odds ratio of 2.66 (95% confidence interval: 2.07-3.25). Age-dependent telomere attrition was faster in melanoma cases than controls (P =.01). The carriers of a highly penetrant germline -57A>C TERT promoter mutation, in a previously reported melanoma family, had longer telomeres than the noncarriers. The mutation causes increased TERT and telomerase levels through creation of a binding motif for E-twenty six (ETS) transcription factors and the carriers develop melanoma with an early age of onset and rapid progression to metastasis. In analogy, we hypothesize that increased telomere length in melanoma patients reflects stochastic increased telomerase levels due to common genetic variation. Paradoxically, we observed shorter telomeres (P =1x10(-5)) in primary tumors from unrelated melanoma patients with (121) than without (170) somatic TERT promoter mutations that similar to the germline mutation, also create binding motifs for ETS transcription factors. However, the age-dependent telomere attrition was faster in tumors with the TERT promoter mutations than in those without such mutations. Besides a robust association between increased telomere length and risk, our data show a perturbed telomere homeostasis in melanoma.

Background and Objective: Assessment of alimentary tract helminthes of rodents has a great zoonotic importance. This study aimed at determining the prevalence of helminth infections in rodents in Hamadan. Material and Methods: a total of 100 rodents trapped from different parts of city were transported to laboratory. After anesthetizing by chloroform, the animals were undergone an operation to isolates the helminthes. The isolates were stained by Carmine and identified at the genus and species levels. Furthermore, age, sex, weight of rodent and size of various organs of body were determined. Results: Totally, 62% of the rodents were infected to intestinal helminthes. All trapped rodents were Rattus norvegicus. Six species of helminthes, including three Nematode (45%), 3 Cestode (51%) and no Trematode were isolated from rodents. The infection rate for different helminthes was as follow: Hymenolepis nana 21%, H. diminuta 29%, Heterakis spomosa 43%, Strongyloides sp. 1% Trichuris muris 1% and Cysticercus fasciolaris 1%. Conclusion: in this area, infection rate of alimentary tract helminthes in the Rattus norvegicus, especially zoonotic helminthes, is relatively high, and the rate of Cestodes is higher than those of Nematodes and Trematodes. From mid-January to mid-February 2015, all confirmed Ebola virus disease (Ebola) cases that occurred in Liberia were epidemiologically linked to a single index patient from the St. Paul Bridge area of Montserrado County. Of the 22 confirmed patients in this cluster, eight (36%) sought and received care from at least one of 10 non-Ebola health care facilities (HCFs), including clinics and hospitals in Montserrado and Margibi counties, before admission to an Ebola treatment unit. After recognition that three patients in this emerging cluster had received care from a non-Ebola treatment unit, and in response to the risk for Ebola transmission in non-Ebola treatment unit health care settings, a focused infection prevention and control (IPC) rapid response effort for the immediate area was developed to target facilities at increased risk for exposure to a person with Ebola (Ring IPC). The Ring IPC approach, which provided rapid, intensive, and short-term IPC support to HCFs in areas of active Ebola transmission, was an addition to Liberia's proposed longer term national IPC strategy, which focused on providing a comprehensive package of IPC training and support to all HCFs in the country. This report describes possible health care worker exposures to the cluster's eight patients who sought care from an HCF and implementation of the Ring IPC approach. On May 9, 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the end of the Ebola outbreak in Liberia.

- Abstract
© 2017 Elsevier Ltd Many organizations and institutions are implementing accurate and practical tools to accelerate decision-making process. In this regard, hospitals and healthcare centers are not exceptions, in particular, because they directly impact the health and well-being of the community. When it comes to disease diagnosis, practitioners may have different opinions, which lead to different decisions and actions. On the other hand, the amount of available information, even in a case of a typical disease is so vast that rapid and accurate decision-making may be difficult. For example, practitioners may prescribe several expensive tests in order to diagnose a heart disease whereas many of those tests might not even be required. Accordingly, a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) can be very helpful here. In particular, such a CDSS can be developed as an expert system for those patients who have a high likelihood of developing heart diseases. This study develops an expert system based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Inference System in order to evaluate the condition of patients who are being examined for heart diseases. The Fuzzy AHP is used to calculate weights for different criteria that impact developing heart diseases, and the Fuzzy Inference System is used to assess and evaluate the likelihood of developing heart diseases in a patient. The developed system has been implemented in a hospital in Tehran. The outcomes show efficiency and accuracy of the developed approach.
