Abstract

Two compounds cis(Ni(333-tet)(mu-N3))n(ClO4)4 and trans-(Ni(333-tet)(mu-N3))(n)(ClO4)(n)(333-tet-tetramine N,N'-bis(3-amino propyl)-1,3-propanediamine) are synthesized. Structural studies in these compounds show the presence of two monobridged nickel(II)-azido systems. Magnetic and structural parameters of this azido ligand are correlated by a model.
