In this case, drug repurposing and computer-aided studies have become very important to find emergency solutions. In this study, drug-target interactions on three nonstructural protein structures of SARS-CoV-2 of 8820 drug candidates or drug molecules obtained from the DrugBank database were analyzed. Material and Method: Comprehensive virtual screening and molecular docking studies from 8820 drug molecules or candidates obtained from the DrugBank database were performed on the RNA binding protein, 2'-O-methyltransferase, and endoribonuclease of SARS-CoV-2; and potential drug candidates were determined for each target. Virtual screening studies have been done with High-Throughput Virtual Screening (HTVS), Standard Precision (SP), Extra Precision (XP), and Molecular Mechanics Generalized Born Surface Area (MM-GBSA). Also, information about the clinical findings, transmission, pathogenesis, and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 has been given. Result and Discussion: Drug-target interactions on three nonstructural protein structures of SARS-CoV-2 of 8820 drug candidates or drug molecules obtained from the DrugBank database were analyzed. Potential compound recommendations for each drug target were presented. Information was given about key amino acids where active sites of drug target proteins interact with ligands. This study is expected to be useful in target-based drug development studies on the proteins of SARS-CoV-2.

BRICS-T (Brezilya, Rusya, Hindistan, Çin, Güney Afrika ve Türkiye) ülkeleri 1990’lı yıllardan bu yana gösterdikleri etkileyici ekonomik büyüme performanslarıyla küresel ekonominin önemli bir parçası haline gelmişlerdir. Son 30 yılda ortalama %3’ün üzerinde ekonomik büyüme rakamına ulaşmış olan grup, dünya ticaretinde de önemli bir paya sahiptir. BRICS ortak bir amaç için oluşturulmuş olmasına rağmen birbirinden farklı özelliklere sahip heterojen bir ülkeler grubudur. Sahip oldukları doğal kaynaklar, düşük maliyetli üretim güçleri ve hızlı büyüme potansiyeline sahip olmaları nedeniyle birçok yatırımcı için önemli bir yatırım alternatifi olarak görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, gelişmekte ülkeler grubu arasında önemli bir yere sahip olan BRICS-T ülkelerinin hisse senedi piyasaları ile ülke tahvillerinin getirileri, yerel para birimlerinin ABD doları ve Euro cinsinden değerlerinin getirileri arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında, 2010:6 ile 2022:3 dönemine ait aylık frekansta veriler, heterojen panel nedensellik analizi ve panel VAR analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre BRICS-T ülkelerinin yerel paralarının Euro, ABD doları cinsinden getirileri ve tahvil getirilerinden hisse senedi piyasalarına doğru nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca hisse senedi piyasalarından yerel paralarının Euro ve ABD doları cinsinden getirileri ve tahvil getirilerine doğru nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edildiğinden ele alınan değişkenler arasında çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca elde edilen bulgulara göre, araştırmaya konu olan değişkenlerin birinde meydana gelen bir şokun diğer değişkenler üzerinde kısa ve orta vadede (ortalama 1-2 yıl) etkili olduğu, uzun dönemde ise şokların etkilerinin ortadan kalktığı görülmüştür.

This study aims to investigate the dynamic connectedness relations between financial assets in Turkey from the perspective of Covid-19. In order to determine this, daily data between 2008 and 2021 of six sub-markets, which can be indicators about the economy, including money, bonds, foreign exchange, stocks, commodities and credit risk, were used. TVP-VAR model results show that the dynamic interconnectedness relationship between related financial assets increases during turbulence periods experienced at both the global and local levels in the sample period. This result can be interpreted as the stress occurring in related financial assets during stress periods increases the total risk as a result of increased linkage with other assets. As a result of the research, the foreign exchange market and credit risk indicators are found to be the net shock transmitter in the sample period; money, bond and commodity market indicators were found to be net shock receivers. On the other hand, it has been observed that the stock market changes frequently as shock receivers and transmitters over time and is neutral in terms of average value over time., Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’deki finansal varlıklar arasındaki dinamik bağlantılılık ilişkileri Covid-19 perspektifinde araştırılmak istenmektedir. Bunu tespit edebilmek amacıyla para, tahvil, döviz, hisse senedi, emtia ve kredi riski olmak üzere ekonomi hakkında gösterge olabilecek altı alt piyasanın, 2008 ile 2021 tarihleri arasındaki günlük verileri kullanılmıştır. TVP-VAR model sonuçları, örneklem döneminde hem küresel hem de yerel düzeyde yaşanan türbülans dönemlerinde ilgili finansal varlıklar arasındaki dinamik bağlantılılık ilişkisinin arttığını göstermektedir. Bu sonuç, stres dönemlerinde ilgili finansal varlıklarda meydana gelen stresin diğer varlıklarla artan bağlantı sonucu toplam riski arttırdığı şeklinde yorumlanabilir. Araştırma sonucunda döviz piyasası ile kredi riski göstergeleri, örneklem dönemi içerisinde net şok yayıcısı; para, tahvil ve emtia piyasaları göstergelerinin ise net şok alıcısı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Pay piyasasının ise zaman içerisinde şok alıcı ve verici olarak sıklıkla değiştiği ve zaman içerisindeki ortalama değer bakımından nötr olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

Bu makale, karbon tetraklorür (CCl4) toksisitesine karşı alıç (Crataegus orientalis L.) meyve liyofilize ekstrakt (LEH), böbrek ve karaciğer koruyucu potansiyelini ve antioksidan rolünü araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Deneysel dizayn; Normal kontrol (NK) CCl4 grubu (0,5 ml / kg CCl4, vücut ağırlığı (wb)), LEH1grubu (100 mg / kg LEH bw), LEH4 grubu (200 mg / kg LEH bw), CCl4+LEH1 grubu (0,5 ml / kg + 100 mg / kg LEH bw) ve CCl4+LEH4 grubu (0,5 ml / kg + 200 mg / kg LEH bw) şeklinde 3 haftalık ekstre muamelesi ile yapılmıştır. Deneysel muamelenin sonunda: LEH'nin böbrek ve karaciğer koruyucu potansiyeli ve antioksidan rolünü, karaciğer ve böbrek hasarı serum biyobelirteçleri, eritrosit, beyin, börek ve karaciğerdeki antioksidan savunma sistemleri bileşenleri (ASSB) ile malondialdehit (MDA) içeriği ölçülerek değerlendirildi. Sonuçlara göre; karaciğer hasarı serum enzim aktiviteleri ve dokuların MDA içeriği CCl4 grubunda NK göre anlamlı olarak daha yüksekti. Bu parametreler, ekstre takviyeli gruplarda CCl4 grubuna kıyasla önemli ölçüde daha düşüktü. Sonuçlara göre, LEH takviyeli diyetinin ASSB'lerdeki dalgalanmaları NK değerlerine doğru parametrelerin çoğunu geri çektiğini göstermektedir. Bu nedenle, CCl4 ile toksisite oluşturulan sıçanlarda alıç bitkisi meyve ekstresinin antioksidan kapasiteye ve karaciğer koruyucu etkilere sahip olabileceği düşünülmektedir., This manuscript has aimed to investigate the nephro-hepato protective potential and antioxidant role of lyophilized extract of hawthorn (Crataegus orientalis L) fruit (LEH) against carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) toxicity. The experimental were conducted as; 0.5 ml/kg CCl4, bw), 100 mg/kg LEH bw, 200 mg/kg LEH bw, CCl4 0.5 ml/kg + 100 mg/kg LEH bw and CCl4 0.5 ml/kg + 200 mg/kg LEH bw treated with the extract for 3 weeks. At the end of the experimental treatment, the nephro-hepato protective potential and antioxidant capacity of the LEH was evaluated measuring by liver and kidney damage serum biomarkers, antioxidant defense systems constituents (ADSCs) and malondialdehyde (MDA) content in the erythrocyte, brain, kidney and liver tissues of rats. According to results; liver damage serum enzymes activities and MDA content of the tissues were significantly higher in CCl4 group compared to normal control (NC) whereas; these parameters were significantly lower in extract supplemented groups compared to CCl4 group. According to the resuls, the study results suggest that the LEH supplementations diet restored most of the parameters towards the NC values with fluctuations in the ADSCs. Therefore, it is thought that the extract of hawthorn has antioxidant capacity and hepatoprotective effects against in CCl4-intoxicated rats.

In this study, new benzimidazole-triazole derivatives were synthesized in two steps. First, 4-benzaldehyde derivatives are synthesized by reacting 1,2,4-triazole ring and 4-fluorobenzaldehyde. In the last step, the benzimidazole ring was obtained with o-phenylenediamine derivatives under microwave radiation. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, infrared spectroscopy, mass spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. Antimicrobial activity of synthesized compounds is associated with six different types of bacteria (Escherichia coli ATCC 35218, E.coli ATCC 25922, Klebsiella pneumoniae NCTC 9633, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Salmonella typhimurium ATCC 13311, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923), and four different Candida (C. albicans ATCC 24433, C. glabrata ATCC 90030, C. krusei ATCC 6258, C. parapsilosis ATCC 22019). Synthesized compounds showed weak antibacterial activity. However, 3a, 3b, and 3c compounds against C. albicans of the Candida species were found to show promising activity. Given the effect of substituents on antifungal activity, it is seen that the compounds 3a, 3b, and 3c carry chlorine, methyl, and fluoro substituents on the benzimidazole ring attract attention with higher activities. Molecular docking studies of 3a, 3b, and 3c were performed Schrödinger Glide XP against Candidas’ sterol 14-alpha demethylase (CYP51), and estimated ADME calculations were analyzed.

With the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, it was experienced that the bubbles in the asset prices in the financial markets of the United States and the new subprime mortgage loans that are continuously exported to the market can be dangerous enough to trigger a crisis on a global scale. As a matter of fact, the crisis affected the economies of many countries that were integrated into the world with globalization. This study aims to analyze the effects of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis on the financial performance of companies listed in the Borsa Istanbul 100 Index in the context of companies' financial reporting behaviors. Global Financial Crisis affected the Turkish economy as well as all the World economies and led to macroeconomic imbalances. It was observed that the crisis affected businesses as well as its macroeconomic effects, causing companies to face financing difficulties and to decrease their financial status and performance. Depending on these developments, it is predicted that the financial reporting behaviors of companies (such as transparency, earnings management) may change during crisis periods. This study aims to analyze and estimate the impact of Global Financial Crisis on financial information regarding the status and performance of companies listed on Borsa Istanbul. For this purpose, the effects of the Global Financial Crisis on these variables was using indicators widely used in the literature, which convey financial information about the company's financial situation, performance, transparency in financial reporting, and earnings management activities. In the empirical analysis, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used to ecaminr whether the status, performance, transparency, and earnings management ratios of the companies listed in the Borsa Istanbul between the years 2003-2015 differed in terms of pre-crisis, crisis period and post-crisis periods. It was determined that the equity ratios of the firms were higher in the pre-crisis period compared to the post-crisis period, and the return on assets ratios were higher in the pre-crisis period than in the crisis period and post-crisis period. In addition, it was concluded that the cash flow rates of the companies were lower in the pre-crisis period and in the post-crisis period, while the cash flow margin and net profit/market value ratios were higher in the pre-crisis period than in the post-crisis period., 2008 Küresel Finansal Krizi ile Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin finansal piyasalardaki varlık fiyatlarında oluşan balonların ve piyasaya sürekli olarak ihraç edilen yeni subprime mortgage kredilerin küresel ölçekte bir krizi tetikleyebilecek kadar tehlikeli olabileceği deneyimlenmiştir. Nitekim kriz küreselleşmeyle birlikte dünyaya entegre olmuş pek çok ülkenin ekonomilerini etkisi altına almıştır. Bu çalışma, 2008 Küresel Finans Krizinin Borsa İstanbul 100 Endeksi’nde listelenen şirketlerin finansal performansı üzerine etkilerini, firmaların finansal raporlama davranışları bağlamında analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Küresel Finans Krizi tüm dünya ekonomilerini olduğu gibi Türkiye ekonomisini de etkilemiş ve makroekonomik dengesizliklere yol açmıştır. Krizin makroekonomik etkileri yanında işletmeleri de etkilediği, şirketlerin finansman güçlüklerle karşılaşmalarına, mali durum ve performanslarında düşüşlere yol açtığı gözlemlenmiştir. Bu gelişmelere bağlı olarak, firmaların finansal raporlama davranışlarının (şeffaflık, kazanç yönetimi gibi) kriz dönemlerinde değişebileceği öngörülmektedir. Bu öngörünün geçerliliği, Borsa İstanbul 100 Endeksi’nde listelenen firmalar için literatürde yaygın olarak kullanılan göstergeler yardımıyla test edilmiştir. Bu çerçevede, ampirik analizlerde, 2003-2015 yılları arasında BİST 100’de listelenen şirketlerin durum, performans, şeffaflık ve kazanç yönetimi rasyolarının, finansal kriz öncesi, kriz dönemi ve kriz sonrası dönemler itibariyle farklılık gösterip göstermediği Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) yardımıyla tahmin edilmiştir. Firmaların özkaynak oranlarının kriz öncesi dönemde kriz sonrası döneme göre daha yüksek olduğu, aktif karlılık oranlarının ise kriz öncesi dönemde, kriz dönemi ve kriz sonrası döneme göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca firmaların; nakit akış oranlarının kriz öncesi dönemde kriz dönemi ve kriz sonrası dönemde daha düşük olduğu, nakit akış marjı ve net kar/piyasa değeri rasyolarının ise kriz öncesi dönemde kriz sonrası döneme göre daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Satın alma gücü paritesinin geçerliliğinin test edilmesi, ampirik literatürde her zaman önemli bir konu olmuştur. Son zamanlarda araştırmacılarından Arize ve Bahmain-Oskooee (2021), döviz kuru ayarlamalarındaki doğrusal olmama durumunun PPP hipotezinin test sonuçları üzerindeki olası etkilerini araştırmışlar ve Türkiye dahil 82 ülkeden 51'inde asimetrik eşbütünleşme yönteminin uygulanmasının nominal döviz kuru ile göreli fiyatlar arasındaki eşbütünleşme sayısını artırdığını bulmuşlardır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye için satın alma gücü paritesi (SAGP) hipotezinin geçerliliğini test etmek için simetrik ve asimetrik sınır testi eşbütünleşme yaklaşımları kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, SAGP hipotezinin Türkiye için geçerli olduğunu, ancak nispi fiyatların (üretici fiyat endeksi ile ölçülen) nominal döviz kuru üzerindeki etkisinin simetrik olduğunu ve uzun vadede nispi fiyatlar ile döviz kuru arasındaki ilişkide nispi fiyatların doğrusal olmayan bir şekilde ayarlanmasının hiçbir rolü olmadığını göstermiştir. Ancak, nispi fiyatlar nominal döviz kurlarını kısa vadede asimetrik olarak etkiler, bu da kısa vadede nispi fiyat ayarlamalarında doğrusal olmamaların önemini ortaya koyar. Daha da önemlisi, bu çalışmadaki ampirik analizin bulguları, SAGP hipotez testi sonuçlarının, araştırmacıların ampirik analizlerini yaparken yaptıkları bir dizi seçime çok duyarlı olduğunu göstermiştir. Seçimler, göreli fiyatları (üretici fiyat endeksi veya tüketici fiyat endeksi) temsil etmek için kullanılan vekillerin seçimi, örnekleme periyodu (örnek verilerin esnek, sabit veya yönetilen değişken dönemler gibi farklı döviz kuru sistemleri içerip içermediği) hakkındaki seçim, doğrusal olmayan ARDL ve doğrusal ARDL modeli gibi tahmin yöntemleri ve araştırmacıların veri kümesindeki aykırı değerleri yeterince ele alıp almadıkları ile ilgilidir.

This study aims to test current account deficits (CAD) sustainability for Turkish data of 1992Q1-2021Q1. To this end, an empirical model that relates real exports to real imports plus interest payments on external debt is estimated using both linear and non-linear ARDL (NARDL) technique, and linear and asymmetric cointegration among the model variables is tested with the bound test for cointegration approach. While the bound test result of the linear ARDL model provides no evidence to support the sustainability of the current account, the NARDL bound test results indicate that Turkey’s current account balance is sustainable. Moreover, the study results have shown that both positive and negative shocks to imports affect exports significantly and asymmetrically in the short-run and the long-run. Although the impact of positive shocks to imports on exports is significantly higher than the impact of negative shocks, in the long run, the negative shocks cause export growth to decrease at a higher rate than positive shocks in the short-run., Bu çalışmanın amacı 1992Q1-2021Q1 Türkiye verileri için cari işlemler açığının (CAD) sürdürülebilirliğini test etmektir. Bu amaçla, reel ihracatı reel ithalat artı dış borç faiz ödemeleri ile ilişkilendiren ampirik bir model; hem doğrusal hem de doğrusal olmayan ARDL (NARDL) tekniği kullanılarak tahmin edilmiş ve model değişkenleri arasında doğrusal ve asimetrik eşbütünleşme sınır testi ile test edilmiştir. Lineer ARDL modelinin sınır testi sonucu cari hesabın sürdürülebilirliğini destekleyecek herhangi bir kanıt sunmazken, NARDL sınır testi sonuçları Türkiye'nin cari işlemler dengesinin sürdürülebilir olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, çalışma sonuçları, ithalata yönelik hem pozitif hem de negatif şokların, kısa ve uzun vadede ihracatı önemli ölçüde ve asimetrik olarak etkilediğini göstermiştir. Pozitif şokların ithalat üzerindeki etkisi, negatif şokların etkisinden önemli ölçüde daha yüksek olmasına rağmen, uzun dönemde negatif şoklar, kısa dönemde ihracat büyümesinin pozitif şoklardan daha hızlı düşmesine neden olmaktadır.

The results of recent studies provide strong evidence that financial development affects economic growth through a number of different channels and that the relationship between economic growth and financial development is not linear. This study aims to examine the relationship among financial development, trade liberalization and economic growth and to determine how this relationship changes over time using quarterly Turkish economic data over the period of 1987Q1-2020Q4. In the study, the concept of financial development will be represented by the financial development index that has been constructed to bring different dimensions of financial development together and the nature of the relationship between financial development and economic growth, whether it is linear or not, will be analysed making use of smooth transition autoregressive models. This study is important since it provides an evidence on the impact of financial development and openness on economic growth for Turkish economy. In addition, in this study, considering the relations between financial development and openness, the variable of openness was included in the model. The study is important in terms of determining whether the level of financial development and openness have an effect on growth in terms of the Turkish economy. The first of the main findings of this study indicates that it is utmost important to represent financial development with a comprehensive index that incorporate different dimensions of financial development in empirical studies on the relationship between financial development and growth. Secondly, the results showed that the extent of the impact of openness on economic growth differs significantly in relation with the threshold levels of financial development. Thirdly, the findings of the study showed that the relationship between financial development and economic growth is not linear and hence the use of smooth transition autoregressive models are more appropriate in the empirical analysis of the relationship between financial development and economic growth. Finally, the findings obtained in this study showed that there is a close relationship between financial and trade liberalization, and that extending financial development-economic growth models with an openness variable is very important, and that the effect of openness on economic growth increases with the increase in the level of financial development., Son dönemde yapılan çalışmaların sonuçları, finansal kalkınmanın ekonomik büyümeyi farklı kanallar vasıtasıyla etkilediği, finansal kalkınma ve dışa açılma arasında da karşılıklı etkileşim olduğu ve ayrıca ekonomik büyüme-finansal kalkınma ilişkisinin doğrusal olmadığına ilişkin güçlü bulgular sunmaktadır. Bu çalışma, finansal kalkınma ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki ve bu ilişkinin zaman içerisinde nasıl değişim gösterdiğini, 1987Q1-2020Q4 dönemine ilişkin üç aylık Türkiye ekonomisi verileri yardımıyla incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, finansal kalkınma kavramı, finansal kalkınmanın farklı boyutlarını bir araya getiren finansal kalkınma endeksi yardımıyla ve finansal kalkınma-ekonomik büyüme ilişkisinin doğasının doğrusal olup olmadığı da, düzgün geçiş otoregresif modeller yardımıyla analiz edilmektedir. Ayrıca, bu çalışmada, finansal kalkınma ve dışa açılma arasındaki ilişkilerde dikkate alınarak, modele dışa açılma değişkeni da dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışma Türkiye ekonomisi açısından finansal kalkınma düzeyi ve dışa açıklığın büyüme üzerine etkisinin olup olmadığının belirlenebilmesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel bulguları ilk olarak, finansal kalkınma-büyüme ilişkisine yönelik ampirik çalışmalarda finansal kalkınmanın farklı boyutlarını temsil edebilen kapsamlı bir endeksin oluşturulmasının önemli olduğunu göstermiştir. İkinci olarak, dışa açıklığın ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkilerinin, finansal kalkınma eşik değerlerine bağlı olarak farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Üçüncü olarak, çalışmanın bulguları, finansal kalkınma-ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkinin lineer olmadığını haliyle düzgün geçiş otoregresif modeller kullanılarak yapılan çalışmaların finansal kalkınma-ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkinin ampirik analizinde kullanılmasının daha doğru olduğunu göstermiştir. Son olarak, bu çalışmada elde edilen bulgular, finansal ve ticari liberalizasyon arasında yakın ilişkinin olduğunu, finansal kalkınma-ekonomik büyüme modellerinde dışa açılma değişkeninin de mutlaka yer alması gerektiğini ve finansal kalkınma düzeyindeki artışla birlikte dışa açıklığın büyüme üzerindeki etkisinin de arttığı göstermektedir.

Ticari bankaların var olma sebeplerinden biri olan kredi verme işlemi ekonomik işleyiş açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Fakat bankaların verdikleri kredilerin geri ödenmemesi sonucunda hem mali hem de reel sektör ve bunun yanından ülke ekonomisi olumsuz bir şekilde etkilenebilmektedir. Geçmişte yaşanan kriz sonucunda görülen banka iflaslarının hem ülke hem de dünya ekonomisine çok büyük maliyetleri olmuştur. Özellikle günümüzde Türkiye’de etkisini gösteren ekonomik durgunluğun temel nedenlerinden biri geri dönmeyen sorunlu kredilerden kaynaklandığı ifade edilebilir. Bu noktadan hareketle özellikle sorunlu kredilerin tespiti, seyri ve buna neden olabilecek hem makro hem de mikro değişkenlerin neler olabileceği hususunun ortaya konması sorunun tespiti açısından faydalı bilgiler sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada 2008-2018 yılları arasında 25 ticari bankanın sorunlu kredilerine neden olabilecek hem bankaya özgü hem de makroekonomik değişkenler ile bunlar arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olup olmadığı panel veri analizi yöntemi ile ortaya koyulacaktır. Çalışmanın amacı ülke ekonomilerin dinamosu olan bankaların sağlıklı bir şekilde faaliyetlerini sürdürmesinin temelini oluşturan sorunlu kredilerin makroekonomik değişkenler üzerinde ilişki derecesini analiz ederek, hangi değişkenin sorunlu krediler üzerinde etkileşim içinde olduğunu ve bu değişkenlerin sorunlu kredileri ne yönde etkilediğini ortaya koyarak literatüre katkı sağlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Bunun yanında çalışmanın daha önceki çalışmalarda sorunlu krediler ile ilişkili olabilecek bu kadar değişkenin ele alındığı çalışmanın olmayışı çalışmanın özgünlüğünü ortaya koymaktadır. Lending, which is one of the reasons for the existence of Turkish banks, is of great importance in terms of economic functioning. However, as a result of the non-repayment of the loans granted by the banks, both the financial and real sectors, as well as the national economy, may be adversely affected. The bankruptcies seen as a result of the crisis in the past have had huge costs for both the country and the world economy. It can be stated that one of the main reasons of the economic stagnation, which has an impact in our country especially today, is the non-performing loans. In this study, panel data analysis method will be used to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the bank-specific and macroeconomic variables that may cause non-performing loans of 25 commercial banks between 2008-2018. The aim of this study is to analyze the degree of relationship of non-performing loans on macroeconomic variables, which is the basis of banks' dynamism of national economies, and to determine which variables interact on non-performing loans and how these variables affect non-performing loans. When the earlier studies of the study are examined, the lack of a study that deals with such variables that may be related to non-performing loans reveals the originality of the study.

(Wild Apple) is a small fruit treebelonging to the Rosaceae family. Given their high light demands and lowcompetitive abilities, wild apple is naturally scattered in forest gaps andforest margins. The aim of the study is to reveal the total phenol andflavonoid content and to demonstrate a possible biochemical difference betweenwater and ethanolic extracts of the plant. For this purpose, total phenolic(TPC) and flavonoid (TFC) contents in ethanolic and water extracts of fruit andseed were determined.Thehighest extraction yield was obtained from the ethanolic extracts of the fruit.The percent yield of extraction of the fruit with ethanol was found as 10,57 %(w/w) with water as 10, 06 % (w/w). The highest total phenol content wasobtained from the seed ethanol extracts and calculated as 413,7±1,11 µg GAE/mg(pAsa result, the fruit extracts of Malus sylvestris L. were more successfulthan other organs in terms of total flavonoid content. The highest total phenolcontent was obtained from the seed ethanol extracts. Due to the highersolubility of the compounds in alcohol, the total phenol and flavonoid contentsof ethanol extracts of the plant were found to be higher than the waterextracts.
