Operating conditions in a naval facility are very different from those of industrial electric installations. The size of the compartments require that the electrical installations to have small sizes, low weight and to be reliable in operation. Reduced staff size, climatic and technical heavier conditions besides the fact that the naval facility becomes an isolated system, are leading to failure the troubleshoot of the major damages in electrical systems. For these reasons the electrical equipment needs to be achieved and built with first class constructive elements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
