The presence of materials and human resources in the Lebak Regency supports the creation of creative products in this district. However, this potential has not been maximized due to the undeveloped industrial system to support the development of the creative economy. Various causes of the underdeveloped potential and resources of tourism and the creative economy in Lebak Regency are due to the undeveloped industrial structure that supports the development of the creative economy, the unavailability of financing schemes for the creative economy industry players, limited access to marketing for the creative economy and not yet optimal institutional support for the creative economy as well as the large area of Lebak Regency. Creating strategic development is crucial for the future. One form of regional development is through the development of economic clusters. Creative economic cluster is necessary to formulate a development concept and strategy for Lebak Tourism Development. This study uses a SWOT analysis to help formulate a plan or strategy for an organization or a particular practice in a systematic way. The data used in this study are primary data through interviews, questionnaires, field observations, and documentation. Secondary data were obtained through literature studies, government policy documents, government agencies reports, and other media, also both mass media and the Internet. The development of rural tourism villages has emerged as a significant alternative in transforming subsistence agriculture patterns in rural areas, often characterized by irregular income streams that barely sustain basic needs. The trend of rural tourism village development is observed in many subsistence farming communities, leveraging the unique potential of natural and cultural resources that can be tapped through village fund utilization. The initiation of rural tourism village development in Ngargoretno Village began with community-driven efforts and a communal spirit to realize the concept of such a village. The village authorities also provided support by allocating village funds and empowerment activities, including training sessions for the youth who play a pivotal role in driving rural tourism village development. This research aims to describe the collaborative efforts between the community and village authorities in realizing rural tourism villages and identify the success factors in rural tourism village development. This research adopts a qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through observations and interviews with key stakeholders from the community and village authorities involved in rural tourism village development. The theoretical foundation of this research lies in empowerment theory, emphasizing the involvement of various stakeholders, including village authorities, educational institutions, and community organizations in rural tourism village development. The findings reveal active community involvement in infrastructure development such as roads, enhancement of tourist attractions through cleaning and painting marble, and the establishment of public facilities such as toilets. Furthermore, partnerships with educational institutions like Universitas Gadjah Mada and the Magelang Tourism Office have enriched tourism packages by introducing additional attractions such as tea plantation tours and religious tourism and promoting local cuisine. The development of rural tourism villages is also expected to increase the income of Ngargoretno Village residents through a rise in tourist visits from outside the village and the creation of new employment opportunities for the younger generation. Optimism persists, fueled by the enthusiastic spirit of village authorities and the community in developing the concept of rural tourism villages.

Tourism plays a crucial role in community development and economic growth, contributing to income distribution, employment opportunities, and investment across various sectors. One form of tourism is village tourism, which serves as an alternative tourism option. However, Rawabogo Village, as a tourist village, has been unable to generate significant results and benefits for the environment and society. It requires a systematic effort to establish a tourism village ecosystem that can drive its development. The objective of this study is to construct a tourism village ecosystem for the development of Rawabogo Tourism Village. This involves examining the components of the tourism village ecosystem to determine the direction for its development, ensuring both economic and non-economic outcomes and benefits. The findings reveal that the current tourism village ecosystem in Rawabogo Village does not support its development adequately due to low community participation and a lack of tourism infrastructure. To address this, the first step is to implement community-based tourism development. This approach aims to encourage active community participation and engagement in managing and advancing Rawabogo Tourism Village. Additionally, future planning should prioritize the provision of necessary infrastructure and tourism facilities to support its growth and success. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One type of accommodation that is widely found in tourist villages is homestay. Homestay is an accommodation that offers the experience of living together with locals in their homes. Homestay is a popular form of accommodation in tourist villages because it provides a different experience from other accommodations, as well as providing opportunities for tourists to interact with locals. Although homestays are in great demand by tourists, there are still some challenges in marketing them in tourist villages. One of the challenges faced by homestay marketers in tourist villages is the lack of knowledge on how to market effective homestays. In addition, homestays in tourist villages are also faced with competition with other accommodations such as hotels, villas, and other inns. The results showed that the homestay marketing strategy has not been effective enough in Tourism Villages in South Sulawesi, because homestay owners / managers and pokdarwis as homestay marketing coordinators in tourism villages have not had the right concept in their marketing. The role of information technology has not increased the effectiveness of homestay digital marketing in tourism villages in South Sulawesi due to limited digital literacy and resources. The results showed that the natural and biological potential of Kertayasa Tourism Village consisted of two natural potentials that could be developed such as the Guha Bau and Merjan Dams, seven cultural potentials, three natural tourist attractions with the main natural tourist attraction being the Green Canyon, and three cultural tourist attractions with the main cultural tourism attraction is Saung Angklung Mang Koko. The existing tourism potential and attractiveness are spread across five hamlets out of a total of seven existing hamlets. The focus of the development of the Kertayasa Tourism Village is still on the two hamlets which are the main tourist attraction points of Green Canyon. Women have always been considered in several studies as the most vulnerable group to disaster risk and less involved in the post-disaster recovery process. This paper aims to find out and analyze the entrepreneurial activities of rural women who joined the management of Nusa Tourism Village as one of the post-disaster economic recovery efforts. The main question that will be answered in this study is how rural women are involved in entrepreneurial activities based on tourism villages after the tsunami. To answer this question, this paper uses qualitative methods with a constructivist paradigm and narrative approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that women of Nusa Village carried out tourism village-based entrepreneurial activities through socio-ecological capital. This socioecological capital consists of elements of social capital in the form of social relations, beliefs, collective norms, and collective actions. The element of ecological capital is in the form of the utilization of land, water, plants, and household waste which is packaged through various tour packages. This study concludes that socioecological capital is an important capital for rural women in carrying out entrepreneurial activities to recover the post-disaster economy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study used a qualitative descriptive methodology to assess spatial development considering the attributes of popular tourist sites, including tourist attractions and visitor traits. The results showed that the spatial development in the study area was more spread out following the existing circulation path and following the traditional Batak development pattern which produces clusters and is unrelated to the major transportation channel. Tuktuk Siadong Village will become a tourist destination, with cultural tourism attractions from Huta Batak in sight. The landscape, which is a component of the spatial structure, must be preserved along with traditional settlements. The use of digital marketing is not only specifically for business processes but can also be utilized in the tourism sector. Tourist information, especially tourist villages, can be easily searched via the internet and social media. There is no need to use conventional promotional media, print brochures or advertisements in the mass media, which will cost a lot, especially for tourism village managers. Virtual tour is an example of digital promotional media that is currently developing because it can display real tourist destinations without having to come to the location in person. However, virtual tours only display static images or videos and do not interact with users or tourists other than information, this causes the virtual tour to not have a significant effect on tourist interest to visit in person. There is a need for further development of virtual tours to make it more attractive to tourists to visit, one way is by combining it with other technologies, namely gamification. This research develops a gamification application on a virtual tour for Cau Belayu Tabanan Tourism Village. By applying gamification to the virtual tourist village tour, it is hoped that tourists will be able to experience a more enjoyable and significant impact on tourist interest in visiting the Cau Belayu Tabanan tourist village directly. The research method used refers to the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The research method consists of the stages of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. The results of this study are in the form of a gamification application in the virtual tour of the Cau Belayu Tabanan Tourism Village which has the main features, namely games, gamescores and game finishes. Indonesia is a country that has natural beauty that is rich in cultural and artistic diversity which can provide an increase in state income. In line with the development of the world of tourism in Indonesia, efforts have been made to display interesting things, such as bringing in tourists. Efforts that can bring in tourists include: maintaining the authenticity of the renovated building and promoting tourist objects as tourist attractions. In addition, the government can provide support for efforts to attract tourists to tourist objects such as providing a special selfie room for tourists taking pictures, thus developing tourism as an industry becomes easy to increase economic growth, namely by only exploiting natural beauty, arts, culture, and hospitality to address the balance of payments deficit it experienced. That is why many experts are worried and consider it crucial to have careful planning in tourism development. The consideration is based on the concern regarding tourism as an industry that is expected to spur economic growth in DTW (Tourist Destination Areas) or countries visited by tourists. So that balanced growth can be developed, and the number of tourist arrivals can continue to grow. The research focuses on planning local cultural attractions in increasing tourist visits in the Central Java region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to analyze the synergy between tourism and agriculture to increase the exchange rate of farmers in the Tabanan Regency area. A literature review approach with a focus on critical review was used in this study. Based on previous research, the study looked at how the Tabanan district's policies affect how tourism and farming work together. The components analyzed are the rationalization and realization of policy implementation related to the analyzed review. This research is a critical literature review to assess, compare, and compile strategy characteristics. The results obtained from the synergy between tourism and agriculture in Tabanan Regency have the potential to be implemented to increase the farmer exchange rate. The idea of mutualism between the two sectors is expected to help tourist villages grow. Improving the size and quality of tourist villages, with the help of local governments, will lead to changes affecting farmers' incomes and exchange rates. They will be able to see the well-being of their farmers. Factors that must be realized to make this synergy concept a success include: 1) the Tabanan Regency Government can facilitate the development of tourist villages; 2) farmers are expected to be open to accepting synergy models of work with the tourism sector, and 3) tourism actors assist farmers in identifying local potentials that have economic value. The policy will likely lead to more and better tourist villages, raising farmers' exchange rates and improving their lives. In conclusion, combining tourism and agriculture makes much sense. The rationalization of policies that local governments and farmers work on can help increase farmers' exchange rates locally and regionally.

Ranuyoso is one of the villages in Lumajang Regency which has the potential to become a tourism village. This potential is supported by the existence of an 8 (eight) hectare unused land owned by Perhutani, whose management rights are handed over to villagers, but its utilization has not been maximized to support the program for establishing a tourism village. Therefore, this community service program is the first step towards realizing the development of Ranuyoso as a tourism village. The activity carried out is in the form of data collection as a reference for mapping the concept of the Ranuyoso tourism village. By applying the principles of Community Based Tourism (CBT), this activity involves the active role of villagers in Focus Group Discussions (FGD), interview, and field observation. The results of this activity show that Ranuyoso village has several potentials in the form of hills, springs, fruits, and distinctive arts and culture that can be developed as assets of a tourism village. These potentials are the basis for formulating the concept of Ranuyoso tourism village, namely a tourism village that presents the integration of water tourism, culture and arts tourism, fruit tourism, and adventure tourism. In addition, this activity also resulted in a draft of cooperation agreement between Faculty of Cultural Studies Universitas Brawijaya (FCS UB) and Forest Village Community Institution (LMDH) as a legal basis for discussing cooperation related to the development of Ranuyoso..
