Marriage contract dated February 27, 1690/91 between Cathalyna Andries d'Vos, widow of Barent Jantz, and Claas Jantz Bockhoven, widower of Volikie Jantz. Details the property both shall bring to the marriage, and the rights thereof, including Tom and Jack, two enslaved Black men, Isabelle, an enslaved Black woman, and Isabelle's two children, Susanna and Rachel. The contract stipulates that all of the enslaved people are to be entirely free after the deaths of both Cathalyna and Claas.
