Abstract
- of Ryer Schermerhorn's will, dated 5 April 1717, proved 8 April 1719. The will divides his property in Schenectady, New York,, including land, enslaved people, and animals to his wife, children, and grandchildren. The enslaved people specified in the will are Tom, a Black man, Tom, a Black boy, an boy whose name is illegible, Fortune, a Black man, and Nan, a Black girl. Wife: Arianntje.
