The article presents case study of a 35-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Transient aplastic crisis due to parvovirus B19 infection and low-grade autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Topics discussed include hypoproliferative anemia caused by parvovirus B19 infection which infects erythrocytes and erythrocyte precursor cells; information on Intravascular hemolysis which causes free hemoglobin to be released into the plasma; and information on red-cell membranopathies.
