Case 37-2017. A 36-Year-Old Man with Unintentional Opioid Overdose.

The article presents a case study of a 36-year-old man presented with unintentional opioid overdose. Topics discussed include taking intravenous heroin each day and medically supervised detoxification program for management of withdrawal symptoms; no family history of depression, bipolar disorder, or and schizophrenia; and normalization of mental status after treatment with naloxone.
