Altimella Wang & Zhang, gen. nov., a new genus belonging to Cicurinidae, is established, and two new species are described, Altimella nedong Wang & Zhang, sp. nov. (♂♀, type species) and A. ngamring Wang & Zhang, sp. nov. (♂♀), from Xizang, China. The family Trechaleidae Simon, 1890 is reported for the first time from China, including one new species: Shinobius cona sp. nov. (♂♀). Morphological descriptions, photos and illustrations of the new species are provided. Taxonomic features of species belonging to the genus are briefly discussed. Six species of the ant-eating spider of the family Zodariidae are described from Xizang, China, including five new species: Asceua chayu sp. nov. (♀), A. dawai sp. nov. (♂♀), Mallinella migu sp. nov. (♂), M. mеdog sp. nov. (♂♀), and M. yadong sp. nov. (♂♀). The female of Cydrela linzhiensis (Hu, 2001) is described here for the first time. The genus Tricholathys, found for the first time in China, is surveyed and seven new species, T. burangensis sp. nov. (♂♀, Thibet), T. chenzhenningi sp. nov. (♂♀, Qinghai), T. hebeiensis sp. nov. (♀, Hebei), T. lhunzeensis sp. nov. (♂♀, Tibet), Tricholathys relictoides sp. nov. (♂♀, Xinjiang), T. serrata sp. nov. (♂♀, Tibet), and T. xizangensis sp. nov. (♂♀, Tibet), are described. A new combination is proposed for Tricholathys alxa (Tang, 2011) comb. nov., ex. Argenna Thorell, 1870. To investigate the characteristics of primary biogenic organic aerosol (PBOA) and correlations with brown carbon (BrC) light absorption in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau (TP), the total suspended particle (TSP) samples were collected at a high altitude site (Lulang) from November 2015 to November 2016. The seasonal variations of PBOA tracers (including arabitol, mannitol, and glucose) were obtained. Elevated arabitol, mannitol and glucose concentrations were observed in monsoon (54, 10 and 18 times higher than in winter, respectively), largely due to the intensive contributions of seasonal biological origin. The highest percentages of fungal-spore-derived organic carbon (OC) and plant-debris OC were obtained in monsoon season with 23.4% and 4.0%, respectively. The results indicated that monsoon PBOA can be the contributor to BrC chromophores in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau. Further studies are needed to investigate the relation between PBOA components and BrC light absorption properties.
