Rural Telephone, which has had an impact on other copyright cases. The article explains the Court's protection of copyright and how this played out in several cases, including Illinois Bell v. Haines, Kregos v. Associated Press, and Bellsouth Advertising v. Donnelly. Additionally, the article discusses Basic Books v. Kinko's, where Kinko's argued that copying a book for educational use was "fair use." The Court for the Southern District of New York did not agree.
