Global creativity indices in developing countries tend to be low. In the field of education, creativity has an important role. Efforts to increase the creativity of educational human resources continue to be hyped. Creative teachers produce creative students. But, the fact is that teachers in developing countries tend to need more creativity in teaching. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational climate in the school environment and teacher career development on teacher creativity in teaching. The sample of this study was 145 junior high school private teachers in Semarang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Statistical analysis using PLS-SEM and PLSpredict. The results showed that the school's organizational climate positively affected teacher creativity in teaching. Teacher career development also positively affects teacher creativity in teaching. In addition, teacher career development mediates the influence of school organizational climate and teacher creativity in teaching. The findings could help schools or private educational institutions to understand how organizational climate affects teachers' creativity in teaching. So that it can be used as a guideline for schools or other educational institutions to increase teacher creativity in teaching.

Creativity must be considered in teaching elementary school students to prepare them to be more innovative. It needs to be fostered from an early age because children at that age are in a critical period, so it will be easier to teach them to think creatively. The teachers have roles to carry out creative teaching to foster their students' creativity. Creative teaching is influenced by the teachers' perception of creativity, which depends on several factors, one of which is the teachers' self-efficacy. This study aims to examine whether the teacher's self-efficacy can mediate the relationship between teachers' perceptions of creativity and their creative teaching behavior in class. Participants of this study were 38 elementary school teachers who were participants in the Creative Teaching Workshop. The measuring tools used in this study are the Creativity Fostering Teacher Index (CFTI) and Teaching for Creativity Scale (TFCS). The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively using correlation tests (Pearson's correlation) and mediation tests with Macro PROCESS. The results found that teachers' self-efficacy partially mediated teachers' perceptions of creativity and creative teaching behavior, which means that the relationship between teachers' perceptions and behaviors can be explained directly and indirectly through the teachers' self--efficacy.

This research was carried out to determine the effect of instructional leadership and creative teaching as the main aspects in maximizing student input and potential, in order to achieve learning satisfaction and self-actualization for the educational success of students. The research examines the effect of principal instructional leadership and teaching creativity on self-actualization and its impact on student satisfaction. Across sectional study was used to determine the relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables. Respondents were 307 students on Madrasah Aliyah and Al-Kamal Kebumen Islamic Vocational High Schools, Indonesia. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of 4 indicators representing each variable. The research data was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with the AMOS application. Out of 5 proposed hypotheses, 1 was rejected because of not fulfilling the Critical Ratio (CR) value > 1.96 and the p-value <0.05 criteria. The results showed that this model fulfilled the Goodness of Fit requirements in SEM analysis. It was evident that principal's instructional leadership and creative teaching affects student learning satisfaction. The results also showed that the principal's instructional leadership affects student self-actualization, while creative teaching has no direct effect unless it is mediated by learning satisfaction.

The school literacy movement is the first step of scientific development, aimed at enhancing science education. It has an important role in encouraging every citizen to have basic knowledge of the nature of science through active participation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the School Literacy Movement program designated by the Ministry of Education and Culture due to the poor reading interest Indonesia students from several international surveys. The study was conducted at Al Mujahidin Muhammadiyah Middle School in Yogyakarta, using the qualitative method of data collection. The results show that the school literacy program is not only specific for reading and writing but for also other academics as activities such as numerals, science, digitalization, finance, culture, and citizenship. In conclusion, the implementation of a structured and systematic program positive impacts on the growth of literacy achievement for all school members from students, teachers, down to employees in Indonesia.

Teachers' creativity becomes a perpetual issue in an educational setting. This study aimed to investigate the influence of teachers' creativity on learners' learning involvement between English for specific purposes (ES), teachers' creativity toward ESP learners' learning involvement and to seek whether there was any significant difference between male and female ESP teachers' creativity to enhance ESP learners' learning involvement. A sample of 435 ESP learners was randomly assigned and was rated both using learners' involvement survey (L-IS) from National Survey of Students Engagement (NSEE) checklist and teaching creativity scale (ELT-CS) of the teachers teaching creativity. With this objective, validated and reliable scale of assessing creativity and involvement were employed. After administering the questionnaires, the data were then analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings showed that all five parameters of creativity had a significant correlation with learners' involvement. The latent variable and supporting indicators of involvement were identified. The findings also asserted that female ESP teachers performed higher involvement scale than those males. Suggestion for a further researcher to investigate factors contributing to EFL learners' learning involvement in ESP class is worth pursuing.

Anxiety has been a matter of substantial concern in foreign language (FL) learning setting for educators since it is a major obstacle learners need to overcome (Ellis, 2008; Wu, 2010).This study was aimed at finding out students' language anxiety in learning the four language skills at a university level in English as a FL context. The participants were 71 students of the English education Department of Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Data was collected by administering a set of questionnaire. To support the data, interview was conducted to some of the respondents. Findings showed that the majority of the students were more anxious on writing skill, followed by reading, speaking and listening in their language learning process. It is highly recommended that the teachers or faculties be more creative in making the language skills classes atmosphere more fun and relaxing so that the students could achieve higher learning results.

Previous studies on Javanese language emphasized more on the use of this local language in certain communities and ignored the importance of teaching and learning at an elementary school level in order to preserve the language. The purpose of this study was to describe the lives of the participants, collect and tell stories about their lives, and then write narratives of their experiences. The data were gathered through the collection of stories, reporting individual experiences, and discussing the meaning of those experiences for the participants by proposing a research question: what is the story of the teachers who tried to preserve Javanese language in the global era? A narrative research design, sociolinguistics, and social change as theories were applied in order to understand teachers' point of view on globalization and the importance of preserving Javanese language. Purposeful sampling was used and two teachers were chosen as participants. The data gathered were then analyzed through three steps, namely code the data, description, and interpretation. There are two findings that can be summarized. Firstly, the interviewees perceived the challenges in teaching Javanese language as an opportunity to be more creative. Secondly, in the attempt to preserve and promote Javanese language and culture, they were fully supported by the school principal as well as the local government. It can be concluded that knowledge of effective teaching strategies is vital in terms of providing an indepth understanding of how elementary schools can deal with the possible negative impacts of globalization.

Teaching and learning speaking skills should be able to engage students in a creative process. Students have to be able to speak in front of the class, create a dialogue, tell a story, and produce the language creatively. The teaching and learning of the speaking skill focusing on story telling ability can work well when supported by the appropriate choice of teaching method. This study attempts to: 1) identify the list of things needed by teachers of primary schools to teach Bahasa Indonesia in fun and creative ways, 2) design a prototype of suggestopedia based storytelling learning model to teach Bahasa Indonesia in primary schools, 3) develop the prototype into a suggestopedia based storytelling learning model to teach Bahasa Indonesia in primary schools, 4) determine the effectiveness of the application of suggestopedia based storytelling learning model to teach Bahasa Indonesia in primary schools. This research is a model development study based on the procedures by Borg and Gall. This study demonstrated that a teaching model is created through the following steps: 1) identifying and analyzing the needs of the students and teachers, 2) designing and evaluating the model, 3) developing and testing the model. The effectiveness test showed a significant increase of 3.03 or 8.11% in the experimental group's mean score, from 18.94 in the pretest to 21.97 in the posttest. Meanwhile, the control group only experienced a 2.51 or 6.36% in the mean score, from 18.50 in the pretest to 21.05 in the posttest. Hence, it can be concluded that the students' story telling skill in the experiment class using the teaching method developed in this study was higher than in the control class. The result implied that the teaching model prototype can be further developed to increase the primary students' story telling skill in Salatiga.

This study aims to determine: (1) the intercorrelation between income, experience, and academic qualification with the early childhood education teachers' teaching creativity; (2) to find out the dominant factors that affect the ability of teachers' Creativity in Semarang. This research uses an experimental design with four variables, including teachers' income (X1), experience (X2), academic qualification (X3), and teaching creativity (Y). The research objects are the randomly selected 56 early childhood education teachers in Semarang. The questionnaire instrument is validated with a construct validity test while the quantitative analysis is conducted through both intercorrelation and multiple regression analysis. The results show that: (1) the descriptive analytical results show that the average education level range is 1.4 or Senior High School (SMA) and 2 years diploma (D2). Meanwhile, the early childhood teachers' income is at the average of 191, 991 IDR or is still categorized into very low. In addition, the early childhood teachers' teaching experience is at the average of 8.7 years or is categorized as high. Furthermore, the dependent variable (creativity) of the early childhood teachers is categorized into high; (2) teaching experience (0.549) and education level (0.617) significantly influence the early childhood teachers' creativity, while income (-0.107) does not significantly influence the early childhood teachers' teaching creativity.

This study explores the effect of grit on the teaching creativity of Indonesian teachers, mediated by organizational commitment and knowledge management. A questionnaire collected research data from 496 teachers, research participants were selected by accidental sampling. Path analysis, supported by descriptive statistics and correlation matrices, used data analysis. The results revealed that grit affects teaching creativity positively and significantly, both directly and indirectly, mediated by organizational commitment and knowledge management, thus indicating ways of improving teaching creativity. Additionally, a new model portraying the effect of grit on teaching creativity, mediated by organizational commitment and knowledge management, was confirmed. Therefore, researchers and practitioners can adapt this model to develop teaching creativity through grit, organizational commitment, and knowledge management in various contexts in the future.

The purposes of this study are: a) to investigate high school math teacher creativity equality, b) to investigate what factors can inhibit their creativity consciousness. The subjects of this study consisted of two high school math teacher who had a different experience academically. The results of the qualitative research show the relationship between creativity and high school math teacher is focused on procedures and not on the product, presents the conception refers to the creativity in the perspective of learners. The observation of classes conducted by researchers for two weeks in a row can be used as an indicator that in teaching mathematics, high school teacher who observed indirectly applying creativity in teaching math though their confidence is lacking. They give an opportunity to him to be a creative individual and attractive in front of their students and provide opportunities to students to construct their own concepts and develop logical arguments. Overall a high school math teacher is still not directly aware of his creativity, but they can improve the confidence of the students. Based on the result of reflection and interviews obtained factors that can inhibit the creativity of teachers, among others; lack of confidence of teachers to students, the limited time to realize the ability of students, teachers internal and external activities that take a lot of time learning. Factors that could hinder the creativity of teachers compiled by researchers through depth interviews with high school teachers.

The innovation of education is an important point of Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), one of them through traditional dance as a context of national cultural. Dance that collaborated with concept of mathematics, it is called Math Traditional Dance. This research aims to produce learning line (specific) the material of reflection and symmetry. The research method used is design research that consisted of preparing for the experiments, teaching experiments, and retrospective analysis. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. This research was conducted with 22 students in MIN 2 Palembang. From the try out that is obtained from the formal to the informal learning described in the learning process, so that support learning process of mirroring and symmetry for the students in grade four in elementary school.

In transcultural and transnational communication settings, English learners have to be able to communicate with people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. For this reason, English as a foreign language (EFL) textbooks, for instance, not only promote Anglo-American and British cultures but also include both EFL learners' home and international cultures. The present discourse study looks at the cultural content of a nationally adopted EFL textbook in Indonesia. It particularly investigates multicultural values represented in the EFL textbook geared for senior high school students. Findings of the study reveal that four themes of multicultural values emerge from the textbook, such as: (1) respect for cultures of different ethnic and religious groups; (2) respect for cultures of indigenous people; (3) conflict avoidance and peace with all forms of life and nature; and (4) appreciation of creative cultural products. The implications of this textual study suggest that as English plays an increasingly important role as a global lingua franca, multicultural materials from outer and expanding circle countries need to be added to English language teaching (ELT) textbooks. Therefore, English teachers should creatively teach multicultural aspects and use multimodal materials to engage students in culturally laden language-learning tasks.

Focus group discussions with 21 degree-qualified early childhood education teachers in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and individual follow-up interviews with 10 volunteer participants, were conducted to investigate the teachers' perspectives on early years professionalism. Thematic analysis of the data identified the key elements that made up the teachers' understandings about professionalism in early childhood practice. This included the idea that the attainment of professionalism was a life-long journey towards achieving an ideal image, that of a role model, or "guru." We argue that the notion of role model was a complex one that not only reflected the teachers' aspirations to achieve 'a better classroom' and better pedagogical outcomes for children, but also a broader aspiration to become a better person defined through a number of attitudes--ways of thinking and being--and behaviours that were socially valued within the teachers' community and work context.

Early Childhood is the beginning of basic skills development, and one such skill is the language skill. During this time, appropriate stimulus is required to assist the optimal development of children's language skills, which includes the utilization of effective media learning in kindergarten. Field observation obtained by the researcher in Kindergarten PGRI 3 Tulusayu Tumpang Malang district showed that the only learning media currently used is in the form of visual utilities exhibited by the teacher and does not involve many children in the utilization. The purpose of this research and development is to produce an instructional media diorama that can be used as a language development tool for children in language skill group B. The learning media diorama is expected to help teachers to be more creative in using learning media as interactive game tools.

In the information technology advance era with constantly expanded knowledge and the requirements of the general public for school education, a lot of different education ideas are introduced in the education reforms, such as school-based characteristic curriculum, teachers' professional development, professional learning community, learning community, and flip education. Teachers, as knowledge disseminators, therefore are encountering the problem of enhancing the competitiveness. Constant learning has become an important part of teachers pursuing excellence and promoting teacher efficacy in the career. They have to constantly absorb new knowledge to conform to modern demands for professionalized teachers. Aiming at universities in Indonesia, total 500 copies of questionnaires are distributed and 347 effective ones are responded, with the retrieval rate 69%. The research results show significant correlations between 1. Knowledge shares and creative teaching, 2. Creative teaching and teacher efficacy, and 3. Knowledge share and teacher efficacy. Aiming at the results, suggestions are proposed in this study, expecting to promote teachers' creative, active, and innovative teaching methods or teaching contents.

With an increasing emphasis on creativity in education and language teaching, it is important for teachers and students to examine their own views on and perceptions of creativity. What is regarded as creativity may vary from one context to another. This paper examines the perceptions of creativity reflected in the evaluation of creative poems by students and teachers in an Indonesian context. The participants evaluated short poems written by a group of Indonesian university students. This resulted in several characteristics of creativity being highlighted: honesty, reality, truthfulness, and personal value. The poems were voted on and the ones which received the greatest number of votes were also analysed. The more creative poems demonstrated higher degrees of language play and creative language use. This paper suggests several activities which could be conducted by teachers and students in other contexts to help them examine their own explicit and implicit views on creativity.

Teacher creativity in teaching using technology such as mobile learning has been widely applied in developed countries, because it is a 21st century skill. However, only a few lecturers in developing countries, such as Indonesia, are incorporating mobile learning with technological tools, like the Discord application, to create a stimulating and interactive learning experience for their students. For data collection, a questionnaire comprising 26 questions with 6 scales was used. The questionnaire was sourced from www.ueq-online.org, and the data collected from the study were carefully analyzed and examined to extract valuable insights and finding. s. The results showed 6 user experience scales, namely attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The results were, on average and very good categories since mobile learning with Discord platform can foster a creative and enjoyable experience for lecturers and students. Furthermore, the study found that lecturers effectively engaged in learning interactions, assigned tasks, and fostered students' creative competence with the support of facilities and new technological equipment. This study investigates teachers' views on the role of technology in building their creativity during teaching practices within the context of Indonesian higher education. An exploratory mixed methods design was employed by interviewing 20 EFL teachers about the role of technology in teachers' creativity and administering a creativity questionnaire to 175 teachers. The findings revealed that teachers are aware of the importance of technology in creativity. Technology appears to help them explore their creativity and encourages learners' creativity in a way that it helps transfer their creativity into reality, makes the activities more authentic, and provides teaching materials on various topics. However, there is no clear evidence about how these teachers use technology in their actual classrooms. In general, the way in which technology was utilized in teaching was limited and largely influenced by other factors, such as teachers' willingness to learn, students' participation, frequent interaction, and cooperation. This implies the need for future research to investigate the creative pedagogy of technology use in the classroom to contribute to improving classroom practices with regard to creativity and technology use. To understand the influences that allow teachers to teach creatively, this study investigates the multicultural experience of teachers and the mediating effects of their cultural intelligence (CQ), which are important but underestimated factors. A questionnaire was conducted with 1,294 elementary and high school teachers in four Asia–Pacific countries, including Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. The analysis was conducted using multigroup structural equation modeling and established a relationship between the multicultural experience of teachers and their creative teaching. In addition, the analysis proved the mediating effect of CQ. The results also revealed differences in the relationships among the four countries. The mediating effect of CQ on the relationship between teachers' multicultural experience and creative teaching was stronger in Indonesia and weaker in Vietnam compared to Taiwan and the Philippines.
