With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, modulation signals are more and more intensive in the same frequency. Time-frequency overlapped signal over co-channel widely exists in the shortwave, ultrashort wave and satellite channels, so the research on the time-frequency overlapped signals in non-cooperation receiver is of great significance. This paper firstly studies on blind estimation of amplitude of time-frequency overlapped signals. On the basis of deep analysis of cyclic stationary characteristic in the time-frequency overlapped signals, an amplitude estimation method of time frequency overlapped signal over co-channel based on four-order cyclic cumulants is proposed. The magnitude of the signal components is estimated by using the amplitude value of four-order cyclic cumulants of overlapped signals in certain cyclic frequency. And then an initial phase estimation method based on four-order cyclic cumulants is proposed in this paper. Experiments are conducted to verify the proposed parameter estimation method of time-frequency overlapped signals in this paper. The evolution of Digital Predistortion (DPD) for Power Amplifier (PA) linearization in wireless communications has seen a natural progression towards increasingly complex DPD models. This complexity directly correlates with improved accuracy in modeling PAs, thereby enhancing the linearization performance of DPD systems. As the demand for bandwidth and PA operation frequencies continues to rise, there is a growing trend towards achieving higher accuracy at the expense of increased complexity. This trend poses challenges for DPD design, necessitating the introduction of more complex algorithms to ensure effective PA linearization. This phenomenon is especially apparent in Volterra Series DPD algorithms, which are widely used for modelling nonlinear systems like PAs. This paper showcases the steps of reducing the modelling operations complexity of the Simplified Volterra (SV) method. The treated SV method presented in this paper is compared against the original SV method through simulation. The DPD model operations complexity is evaluated using the number of required multiplication operations. The DPD PA linearization performance is evaluated with respective model’s Normalized Mean Square Error (NMSE). A 57% reduction on the number of multiplication operations is observed in the treated SV against the original SV. Wireless body area networks (WBANs), featuring wearable and implantable devices for collecting physiological data are increasingly critical in healthcare for enabling continuous remote monitoring, diagnostic improvements, and treatment optimization. Secure communication within WBANs is essential to protect sensitive health data from unauthorized access and manipulation. This paper introduces a novel secure digital (SD)- human body communication (HBC) transceiver (TR) system, tailored for WBAN applications, that prioritizes security and offers significant enhancements in size, power efficiency, speed, and data transmission efficiency over current solutions. Leveraging a combination of frequencyselective (FS) digital transmission with walsh codes (WCs) or quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), and incorporating one-round encryption and decryption modules, the system complies with the IEEE 802.15.6 standard, ensuring broad compatibility. Specifically, the QAM-based SD-HBC TR system exhibits a 4% reduction in chip area, a 7.6% increase in operating frequency, a 3.4% decrease in power consumption, a 27.5% reduction in latency, and improvements of 33% in throughput and 35.5% in efficiency. Importantly, it achieves a bit error rate (BER) of up to 10-8, demonstrating high reliability across communication methods. In the era of Industry 4.0, the digital transformation of industrial systems necessitates advanced wireless communication solutions that are both agile and secure. Private 5G networks, characterized by their unparalleled bandwidth, reduced latency, and fortified security, have emerged as a beacon of innovation in this paradigm shift. This study explores the feasibility of deploying private 5G networks across diverse enterprises, underpinned by a robust methodological framework. Drawing from contemporary research, it is evident that while 5G promises transformative benefits for sectors like logistics, manufacturing, and autonomous vehicles, its adoption is riddled with challenges such as network oversaturation and frequency coordination. Analyzing 2006 companies, our findings reveal that only 103 enterprises align with the optimal criteria for private 5G network implementation, highlighting the intricate balance of spatial, economic, and regulatory considerations. The efficient transmission of images, which plays a large role in wireless communication systems, poses a significant challenge in the growth of multimedia technology. High-quality images require well-tuned communication standards. The Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) is adopted for broadband wireless communications, because of its low sensitivity to carrier frequency offsets and low Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). Data transmission through open-channel networks requires much concentration on security, reliability, and integrity. The data need a space away fromunauthorized access, modification, or deletion. These requirements are to be fulfilled by digital image watermarking and encryption. This paper ismainly concerned with secure image communication over the wireless SC-FDMA systemas an adopted communication standard. It introduces a robust image communication framework over SC-FDMA that comprises digital image watermarking and encryption to improve image security, while maintaining a high-quality reconstruction of images at the receiver side. The proposed framework allows image watermarking based on the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) merged with the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) in the so-called DCT-SVD watermarking. In addition, image encryption is implemented based on chaos and DNA encoding. The encrypted watermarked images are then transmitted through the wireless SC-FDMA system. The linearMinimumMean Square Error (MMSE) equalizer is investigated in this paper to mitigate the effect of channel fading and noise on the transmitted images. Two subcarrier mapping schemes, namely localized and interleaved schemes, are compared in this paper. The study depends on different channelmodels, namely PedestrianAandVehicularA, with amodulation technique namedQuadratureAmplitude Modulation (QAM). Extensive simulation experiments are conducted and introduced in this paper for efficient transmission of encrypted watermarked images. In addition, different variants of SC-FDMA based on the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) are considered and compared for the image communication task. The simulation results and comparison demonstrate clearly that DWT-SC-FDMAis better suited to the transmission of the digital images in the case of PedestrianAchannels, while the DCT-SC-FDMA is better suited to the transmission of the digital images in the case of Vehicular A channels. The development of terahertz integrated circuits is vital for realizing sixth-generation (6G) wireless communication, high-speed on-chip interconnects, high-resolution imaging, on-chip biosensors, and fingerprint chemical detection. Nonetheless, the existing terahertz on-chip devices suffer from reflection, and scattering losses at sharp bends or defects. Recently discovered topological phases of light endow the photonics devices with extraordinary properties, such as reflectionless propagation and robustness against impurities or defects, which is vital for terahertz integrated devices. Leveraging the robustness of topological edge states combined with a low-loss silicon platform is poised to offer a remarkable performance of the terahertz devices providing a breakthrough in the field of terahertz integrated circuits and high-speed interconnects. In this Perspective, we present a brief outlook of various terahertz functional devices enabled by a photonic topological insulator that will pave the path for augmentation of complementary metal oxide semiconductor compatible terahertz technologies, essential for accelerating the vision of 6G communication and beyond to enable ubiquitous connectivity and massive digital cloning of physical and biological worlds. Today, maintaining an Internet connection is indispensable; as an example, we can refer to IoT applications that can be found in fields such as environmental monitoring, smart manufacturing, healthcare, smart buildings, smart homes, transportation, energy, and others. The critical elements in IoT applications are both the Wireless Sensor Nodes (WSn) and the Wireless Sensor Networks. It is essential to state that designing an application demands a particular design of a WSn, which represents an important time consumption during the process. In line with this observation, our work describes the development of a modular WSn (MWSn) built with digital processing, wireless communication, and power supply subsystems. Then, we reduce the WSn-implementing process into the design of its modular sensing subsystem. This would allow the development and launching processes of IoT applications across different fields to become faster and easier. Our proposal presents a versatile communication between the sensing modules and the MWSn using one- or two-wired communication protocols, such as I2C. To improve radio access capability, sky connections relying on satellites or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), as well as high-altitude platforms (HAP) will be exploited in 6G wireless communication systems, complementing terrestrial networks. For long-distance communication, a large smart antenna will be used that is characterized by high amounts of power consumed by digital beamformers. This paper focuses on reducing power consumption by relying on a thinned smart antenna (TSA). The performance of TSA is investigated in the sub-6 GHz band. The differential evolution (DE) algorithm is used to optimize excitation weights of the individual dipoles in the antenna array and these excitation weights are then used in TSA for beamforming, with signal processing algorithms deployed. The DE technique is used with the least mean square, recursive least square and sample matrix inversion algorithms. The proposed method offers almost the same directivity, simultaneously ensuring lower side lobes (SLL) and reduced power consumption. For a TSA of 20, 31, and 64 dipoles, the power savings are 20%, 19.4%, and 17.2%, respectively. SLL reductions achieved, in turn, vary from 5.2 dB to 8.1 dB. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper introduces the audio playback technology for wireless voice services in the DRTD system. The wired communication of the DRTD system is based on the SIP protocol and RTP stream for audio transmission. The audio stream is transmitted via the wireless air interface through such processing processes as mixing, windowing based VAD, caching, format conversion, and signaling control, and finally voice waveform playback is achieved at the mobile terminal, thus bridging the wired communication and wireless communication in the train dispatching communication and providing support for the core services of the DRTD system. Due to increasingly strong and varied performance requirements, cooperative wireless communication systems today occupy a prominent place in both academic research and industrial development. The technological and economic challenges for future sixth-generation (6G) wireless systems are considerable, with the objectives of improving coverage, data rate, latency, reliability, mobile connectivity and energy efficiency. Over the past decade, new technologies have emerged, such as massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relay systems, intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS), unmanned aerial vehicular (UAV)-assisted communications, dual-polarized (DP) antenna arrays, three dimensional (3D) polarized channel modeling, and millimeter-wave (mmW) communication. The objective of this paper is to provide an overview of tensor-based MIMO cooperative communication systems. Indeed, during the last two decades, tensors have been the subject of many applications in signal processing, especially for digital communications, and more broadly for big data processing. After a brief reminder of basic tensor operations and decompositions, we present the main characteristics allowing to classify cooperative systems, illustrated by means of different architectures. A review of main codings used for cooperative systems is provided before a didactic and comprehensive presentation of two-hop systems, highlighting different tensor models. In a companion paper currently in preparation, we will show how these tensor models can be exploited to develop semi-blind receivers to jointly estimate transmitted information symbols and communication channels. Wireless communication systems heavily rely on antennas for reliable operation, and microstrip antennas are widely used due to their compact size and simplicity. However, one of the major challenges faced by microstrip antennas is their limited gain, which affects their overall performance. To overcome this limitation, DGS have emerged as effective solutions for gain optimization. Additionally, the integration of pixelated antennas and GA has shown promising results in enhancing antenna performance. In this study, a novel approach is introduced to improve the gain of microstrip antennas by designing a pixelated DGS and optimizing it using GA. Through the proposed GA-based optimization, the pixelated DGS design demonstrates significant enhancements in both bandwidth and gain, achieving a remarkable increase of 94.54% and 19.93% respectively. The findings of this study contribute to filling the existing research gap and provide valuable insights into the utilization of GA in pixelated DGS configurations to enhance antenna gain. The metaverse is emerging as a next-generation internet paradigm that will enhance human interaction and connectivity. Digital twinning, a fundamental strategy used in the metaverse, allows for the virtualization of real-world items, people, actions, and settings. A virtual world called the metaverse is built on a variety of technologies. Wireless communication is an important part of these technologies. In particular, wireless 6G communication can be essential for the growth of the metaverse. In line with the goal of achieving higher rates in the next-generation wireless network for the metaverse, in this paper, a novel conceptualization of intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-assisted multiple-input single output-based wireless communication in physical world environments is proposed. More specifically, this paper proposes that in the physical world, the IRS-assisted communication between a communication network and users can be reflected in the metaverse through the virtual world (such as digital avatars and the virtual environment). This letter presents the topology of a novel approach to magnetic communication using a giant magnetoimpedance (GMI)-based receiver with a GMI sensor in underwater media such as freshwater. In addition, practical channel test results for the magnetic communication link of a GMI receiver in freshwater are first presented. For this test, a magnetic communication system using a GMI-based receiver, including triangularly arranged transmission coil antennas, was proposed. Wireless digital communication using quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), which is less sensitive to noise and has a high data rate, was used to evaluate the proposed GMI receiver. Several performance metrics, such as constellation, data rate, and error vector magnitude, were measured at 20 kHz. The test results were meaningful, indicating that the proposed magnetic communication system using a GMI-based receiver can be a promising solution for wireless communication in extreme environments, such as underwater media. This letter presents an improved Self‐Interference Cancellation (SIC) receiver with Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS)‐based power estimation for In‐band Full‐duplex (IBFD) transmission. The performance of the SIC scheme is highly dependent on the power of transmit signal. The DMRS‐based power estimation can obtain accurate power. In this study, an analysis of the performance of a digital communication system was conducted to improve the efficiency of the communication channel. The system was designed and evaluated in the MatLab/Simulink environment, specifically for the transmission of binary data in a multipath channel with static fading. One of the main advantages of this system is its ability to provide high noise immunity, even in the presence of noise, interference, and signal delays. The performance of the system was investigated in terms of bit error rate (BER) over both an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and a multipath Rayleigh fading channel. The study also considered the impact of inter-symbol interference (131) and explored different parameters for a static channel, resembling a wireless LAN system based on IEEE 802.11 (as defined by Rec ITU-R M.1225). This study uses a solution to suppress inter-symbol interference using cascading coding (convolutional turbo codes with Reed Solomon code), Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT), amplifiers at the transmitter side and normalizer at the receiver side, by regulating the amplification ratios of transmitter and receiver sides. Modeling of a digital communication system for a wide-band fixed wireless LAN system (for Indoor office and Outdoor to indoor systems) has been performed. The modeling outcomes show that the applied method provides a good performance improvement in channels with ISI with static fading. The application of cascading coding (turbo code together with RS code), amplifiers, and FFT on the transmitter side, and IFFT on the receiver side will eliminate the effects of inter-symbol interference on digital signals in a multipath channel with static fading (as defined by Rec. Signal distortion can occur when the gain or attenuation of a component changes non-linearly with frequency, which is referred to as nonlinear frequency response. Common communications components such as filters, amplifiers, and mixers can lead to nonlinear frequency responses, which can cause errors in transmitting and receiving. This article outlines the design and demonstration of a static and dynamic finite impulse response (FIR) digital equalizer circuit. Using predistortion topology with a coupled feedback loop, the adaptive Least-Mean Square (LMS) algorithm was implemented. The FIR filter was simulated in MATLAB and Vivado and then implemented onto an Eclypse Z7 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) evaluation board. Simulations showed that the custom RTL module gave the same frequency response that was produced in MATLAB calculations. The filter was able to dynamically equalize the frequency responses of different nonlinear boards that were used as the devices under test (DUT). Measurements showed that the equalizer was able to compensate for system distortion from 0.2 to 0.8 Nyquist frequency. This review paper discusses the complete evolution of free-space optical (FSO) communication, also known as unguided optical communication (UOC) technologies, all the way back to ancient man's fire to today's machine-learning-supported UOC systems. The principles, significance, and developments that have happened over the past several decades, as well as installation methodologies, technological limitations, and today's challenges of UOCs are presented. All the subsets of UOC: FSO communication, underwater optical wireless communication (UOWC), and visible light communication (VLC), with their technology/system developments, potential applications, and limitations are reviewed. The state-of-the-art developments/achievements in (i) FSO channel effects and their mitigation techniques; (ii) radio-over-FSO techniques; (iii) wavelength division multiplexing and sub-carrier multiplexing techniques; (iv) FSO for worldwide interoperability for microwave access applications; (v) space optical satellite communication (SOSC); (vi) UWOC; (vii) photoacoustic communication (PAC); (viii) light-fidelity; (ix) VLC; (x) vehicular VLC (V2LC); and (xi) optical camera communication are reviewed. In addition, the current developments on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (to improve the performance of UOC systems), energy harvesting (for the effective utilization of UOC channels), and near-future communication network scenarios (mandatory for secured broadband digital links) are covered. Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have emerged as a robust and cost-effective solution for buried pipeline monitoring due to the low cost (a maximum of a few tens of UK pounds (GBP)), low power supply capacity (in the order of 1 watt/hour) and small size (centimetre scale) requirements of the wireless sensor nodes. One of the main challenges for WSN deployment, however, is the limited range of underground data communication between the wireless sensor nodes of less than 3 m, which subsequently increases deployment costs for a utility owner for buried pipeline monitoring. A promising alternative to overcome this limitation is using low-frequency (<1 kHz) acoustic signal propagation along the pipe. This paper examines the feasibility of using low-frequency acoustic signal propagation along exposed and buried medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) pipes and makes predictions of the potential distances at which reliable data communication can be achieved. Quantification of the acoustic attenuation was performed using both analytical and numerical models in addition to laboratory and field experiments. The predicted acoustic data communication distance ranged between approximately 18 m for an exposed and approximately 11 m for a buried MDPE pipe. These results demonstrate the feasibility of using low-frequency acoustic signal propagation for achieving reliable wireless underground communication. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cloud computing and artificial intelligence are now widely used for classroom teaching in higher learning institutes. The digital teaching supported to ICT technologies in colleges serves as a central point for the advancement of modern education; and has become as a mode of instruction and an approach to teaching. Digital teaching has emerged as a major driving force in the advancement of digital economy and digitization of education in colleges. In this paper, we investigate the movable information management system utilized in the digital teaching using edge computing and 5G wireless communication technology. Furthermore, we explain the idea of a mobile data scheme and presents a teaching platform based on the edge computing and 5G-enabled wireless communication technology. The main objective of this work is to develop a digital teaching framework for college students that, in fact, enables digital teaching, the collection, and incorporation of teaching information, the provision of modern education, and sharing of resources. Cutting-edge technology advancements in the educational platform have the potential to improve 5G communication. To implement the cutting-edge technology, all types of technological devices, smart devices, and gadgets from the Internet of Things (IoT) platform are used. We evaluated the proposed system through reasonable assumptions and numerical simulations. The experimental results reveal that the suggested system has significantly improved the teaching efficiency with which digital teaching management is managed in colleges. Moreover, the edge and 5G technology can significantly improve the system performance, in terms of response time, that can be as high as 11.45% when compared to non-cloud based approaches. In The Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network (WNSMs) have achieved popularity among diverse communities as a result of technological breakthroughs in sensor and current gadgets. By utilising portable technologies, it achieves solid and significant results in wireless communication, media transfer, and digital transmission. Sensor nodes have been used in agriculture and industry to detect characteristics such as temperature, moisture content, and other environmental conditions in recent decades. WNSMs have also made apps easier to use by giving devices self-governing access to send and process data connected with appropriate audio and video information. Many video sensor network studies focus on lowering power consumption and increasing transmission capacity, but the main demand is data reliability. Because of the obstacles in the sensor nodes, WMSN is subjected to a variety of attacks, including Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Deep Convolutional Neural Network is designed with the state-action relationship mapping which is used to identify the DDOS Attackers present in the Wireless Sensor Networks for Smart Agriculture. The Proposed work it performs the data collection about the traffic conditions and identifies the deviation between the network conditions such as packet loss due to network congestion and the presence of attackers in the network. It reduces the attacker detection delay and improves the detection accuracy. In order to protect the network against DoS assaults, an improved machine learning technique must be offered. An efficient Deep Neural Network approach is provided for detecting DoS in WMSN. The required parameters are selected using an adaptive particle swarm optimization technique. Nowadays, environmental electromagnetic fields exist everywhere and the whole population is exposed. The most widespread technologies engendering exposure to electromagnetic fields for the public and workers are radiofrequency wireless communication systems. Such exposure can have direct effects on living tissue involving biological problems or personal symptoms, as well as indirect effects restricting healthcare appliances. This assessment aims to analyze, examine and categorize the consequences of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields emitted by radiofrequency devices. This concerns biological effects in living tissues and atypical personal symptoms for short and long-term exposures. The evaluation methodology in this field of investigation is also discussed. In the article, these consequences as well as their evaluation techniques, in the case of wireless digital communication tools, are analyzed and reviewed. The categorization of exposure sources, the corresponding effects and their assessment methodologies are analyzed. The fifth generation (5G) mobile communication technology though, is being deployed in various parts of the world to improve the wireless systems in terms of infrastructure and quality of services, in view of mobile communication history, the 5G may be unable to handle the deluge mobile network traffic of the future digital society. In general, new wireless technologies are introduced every 10 years, and services mature every 20 years, and therefore sixth generation (6G) mobile communication technologies, which have a great potential to impact on the market, are expected to be commercialized around 2030. In order to secure technological leadership in mobile communication, which is an essential infrastructure for everyday life and industrial sites, advanced countries around the world have begun to develop 6G technology. The expected main features of the 6G technology include: providing 10 to 100 times more performance than 5G, maximizing performance by utilizing the terahertz band which was not utilized by existing communication networks before, use artificial intelligence techniques for smart networking, and combining the previously isolated technologies. Since the discovery of wireless telegraphy in 1897, wireless communication via electromagnetic (EM) signals has become a standard solution to address increasing demand for information transfer in modern society. With the rapid growth of EM wave manipulation technique, programmable metasurface (PM) has emerged as a new type of wireless transmitter by directly modulating digital information without complex microwave components, thus providing an alternative to simplify the conventional wireless communication system. However, the challenges of improving information security and spectrum utilization still exist. Here, a dual‐band metasurface‐assisted wireless communication scheme is introduced to provide additional physical channels for the enhancement of information security. The information is divided into several parts and transmitted through different physical channels to accomplish information encryption, greatly reducing the possibility of eavesdropping. As the proof of concept, a dual‐channel and high‐security wireless communication system based on a 1‐bit PM is established to simultaneously transmit two different parts of a picture to two receivers. Experiments show that the transmitted picture can be successfully retrieved only if the received signals of different receivers are synthetized as predefined. Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation has long been an attractive research topic in various industries and is a vital technique for intelligent wireless systems. Conventional DOA estimation methods based on array antennas suffer from high latency in signal postprocessing, leading to complex hardware architecture, high cost, and low efficiency. Recently, some metasurface‐based methods have emerged as alternatives, but they have limited applications due to the stringent requirements for equipment and environment. Here, an efficient method is proposed to lift these limitations by combining artificial neural networks (ANNs) with space‐time‐coding (STC) digital metasurfaces. The ANN‐enabled DOA estimation achieves high accuracy by simply analyzing the spatial‐spectral characteristics of the STC modulation, which utilizes only harmonic amplitudes without phases, and thus features a much‐simplified hardware architecture. The proposed method does not require large computational resources and is more robust in practical applications. For validation, several ANN models trained with simulated and measured data are presented in a microwave regime. Moreover, a potential application of this method is demonstrated in secure communications. The proposed theory and metasurface provide on‐demand selections of ANN models for reaching optimal DOA estimations in different scenarios, which holds promising applications in wireless sensing, communication, radar, and other self‐adaptive information systems. In the past few years, wireless communications based on digital coding metasurfaces have gained research interest owing to their simplified architectures and low cost. However, in most of the metasurface-based wireless systems, a single-polarization scenario is used, limiting the channel capacities. To solve the problem, multiplexing methods have been adopted, but the system complexity is inevitably increased. Here, a space-frequency-polarization-division multiplexed wireless communication system is proposed using an anisotropic space-time-coding digital metasurface. By separately designing time-varying control voltage sequences for differently oriented varactor diodes integrated on the metasurface, we achieve frequency-polarization-division multiplexed modulations. By further introducing different time-delay gradients to the control voltage sequences in two polarization directions, we successfully obtain space-frequency-polarization-division multiplexed modulations to realize a wireless communication system with a new architecture. The new communication system is designed with compact dual-polarized meta-elements, and can improve channel capacity and space utilization. Experimental results demonstrate the high-performance and real-time transmission capability of the proposed communication system, confirming its potential application in multiple-user collaborative wireless communications. Several studies have shown that the main challenge in teaching complex systems involving many theoretical backgrounds to senior students is their lack of confidence. In this paper, we present an approach to the teaching methodology of an undergraduate course in a telecommunication study program. The first goal of this methodology is to help students understand the theoretical concepts behind wireless digital communication systems through direct practice to give them more exposure to a real system through affordable practice activities in an experiential context, utilizing an HF radio and a single-board computer (SBC). The second goal is to challenge senior students to understand the data link layer by using white box testing of the syntax of the programming language embedded in the SBC. This approach is ideally carried out based on offline and hands-on class activities, however, the pandemic condition made it unavoidable to do it online using a demonstration model. Feedback from students was collected through written comments, post-testing, including a facility index analysis, and a questionnaire that was distributed using the available e-learning system. Multicavity continuous-wave gyroklystrons generating moderate powers in the short-wave part of the millimeter-wave band can be used as highly stable frequency-tunable microwave sources in such applications as radar ranging, wireless telecommunication systems for digital communications, plasma diagnostics, microwave material processing, generation of multi-charge ion beams, and high-resolution spectroscopy on the basis of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and dynamic polarization of atomic nuclei. In this paper, the proposed method is used to calculate optimal parameters of a four-cavity CW gyroklystron operating in the three-millimeter wavelength band in the maximum amplification regime. The design of a gyroklystron with the operating TE011 mode is described, and the results of studying it experimentally are presented. They demonstrate that an output power of 2.5 kW is achieved at a frequency of 92 GHz with an efficiency of 25% at an accelerating beam voltage of 22 kV and a current of 0.46 A. The fact that the power and efficiency are limited by the achieved values is determined by an uncontrollable avalanche-type increase in the emission current, which is caused by the cathode heating due to its bombardment with electrons reflected from the magnetic mirror. The gain and bandwidth of the amplified frequencies, which were measured at a power level of 2 kW at a beam current of 0.3 A, were equal to 28 dB and 320 MHz (0.36%), respectively. In this paper, a differentially fed broadband dual‐polarised dipole antenna with parasitic elements is proposed. The presented antenna comprises a pair of strip dipoles as driven elements, four square patches as internal parasitic elements, four rectangular patches with cut corners as external parasitic elements, and two pairs of coaxial cables as feeding structures placed orthogonally to excite the driven strip dipoles to achieve ±45° dual polarisation. Furthermore, two additional dual‐polarisation modes can be simulated and a broadband dual‐polarised antenna can be obtained by positioning the external and internal parasitic elements to the end and at the edge of driven elements, respectively. The presented antenna provides wide bandwidth using these dual‐polarisation modes. The measurement results indicate that the presented antenna has excellent characteristics with a wide impedance bandwidth (IBW) of 68.4% (|Sdd11| < −18 dB and 1.30–2.65 GHz) and high isolation (|Sdd21| < −30 dB) within the IBW. Additionally, the four‐element array of the broadband dual‐polarised antenna with differential feeding characteristics was designed. The results show that the measured IBW is 59.7% (|Sdd11| < −15dB and 1.35–2.50 GHz). By contrast, the isolation between the two ports exceeds 30 dB across the impedance passband and has potential applications in multiple wireless communication systems owing to the wide bandwidth coverage (frequency division duplexing (FDD), digital communication system (DCS), personal communication system (PCS), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), and Long Term Evolution (LTE) frequency bands). Antenna arrays have a long history of more than 100 years and have evolved closely with the development of electronic and information technologies, playing an indispensable role in wireless communications and radar. With the rapid development of electronic and information technologies, the demand for all-time, all-domain, and full-space network services has exploded, and new communication requirements have been put forward on various space/air/ground platforms. To meet the ever increasing requirements of the future sixth generation (6G) wireless communications, such as high capacity, wide coverage, low latency, and strong robustness, it is promising to employ different types of antenna arrays (e.g., phased arrays, digital arrays, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, etc.) with various beamforming technologies (e.g., analog beamforming, digital beamforming, hybrid beamforming, and passive beamforming, etc.) in space/air/ground communication networks, bringing in advantages such as considerable antenna gains, multiplexing gains, and diversity gains. However, enabling antenna array for space/air/ground communication networks poses specific, distinctive and tricky challenges, which has aroused extensive research attention. This paper aims to overview the field of antenna array enabled space/air/ground communications and networking. The technical potentials and challenges of antenna array enabled space/air/ground communications and networking are presented first. Subsequently, the antenna array structures and designs are discussed. We then discuss various emerging technologies facilitated by antenna arrays to meet the new communication requirements of space/air/ground communication systems. Enabled by these emerging technologies, the distinct characteristics, challenges, and solutions for space communications, airborne communications, and ground communications are reviewed. Digital programmable metasurfaces (DPMs) can dynamically modulate electromagnetic waves in space, time, and frequency domains with powerful capabilities. In contrast, joint radar and communication (JRC) is an important avenue to use the electromagnetic waves universally and intelligently. Hence, combining DPM and JRC may produce a promising way to achieve universal and intelligent electromagnetic terminals. Herein, a mechanism of extremely flexible JRC based on DPM is proposed, in which DPM can improve the flexibility of JRC in processing multidimensional information, and JRC endows DPM with the capabilities of perception, expression, and cognition to promote its intelligent level. Three kinds of functions are explored to interpret the mechanism. First, encryption and decryption of wireless secure communications are realized through DPM; second, range profile imaging is accomplished by using DPM‐based biphase‐coded signals; and third, wireless communication and radar detection are simultaneously presented using DPM. The combination of DPM and JRC greatly decreases the complexity of signal processing and simplifies the architecture of the JRC system, and promotes the intelligent level of DPM. Digital predistortion technology is widely used in wireless communication. As a vital part of wireless communication system, the predistortion technology of radio frequency power amplifier has always been a hot and difficult topic. This paper will research and explore the key technologies of radio frequency channel construction and predistortion of navigation information through artificial intelligence technology and neural network. The article first conducts a simple research on a new generation of artificial intelligence systems--artificial intelligence is an engineering technology scientific research that develops theories, methods, skills, and application systems for modeling, scaling, and amplifying collective human knowledge. Then, the article combines neural network algorithms. BP network is not only a part of synthetic neural network but also a multiple layer fed-forward network. Finally, a neural network method is proposed to model and predistort the load channel model. Then, the RF channel distortion model can be constructed, and the RF channel modeling simulation experiment and the RF channel predistortion simulation experiment are carried out. The experimental results of this paper showed that compared with the situation without predistortion, the two indicators of the zero-crossing slope distortion and the zero-crossing offset of the discriminant function of the output signal of the channel with predistortion had been greatly improved. Overall, the neural network-based model outperformed the RVTDNN model by 30% on these two metrics. It also indicated that the neural network model could model and predistort the cascade model well, and the new model had better modeling accuracy and predistortion effect than the RVTDNN model. Backscatter communication, an emerging ultra‐low‐power wireless communication paradigm, has been studied as a promising solution for wireless communications in some Internet‐of‐Things (IoT) applications. The required ubiquitous data transmission in the IoT world is demanding information security. Different from mathematical encryption at higher protocol layers, the directional modulation (DM) technology can provide physical‐layer wireless security, which does not require digital and computation resources that are otherwise scarce in low‐power IoT devices. In this paper, a synthesis‐free Van‐Atta backscatter array is constructed and studied. The authors show that a Van‐Atta array can be made to project orthogonal interference upon the backscattered signals in the radio frequency domain. With the growing focus and development on the industrialization of the research and development (R&D) outcomes of universities, academic patents have witnessed significant growth in recent years. However, previous development directions for the technologies of academic patents have mostly focused on patents approved by or applied for with major patent offices; few have examined from the perspective of standard-essential patents (SEPs). This study examined key technologies of academic SEPs through network analysis. The findings revealed that most of the key technologies of academic SEPs are involved in wireless communication networks and the transmission of digital information, electric digital data processing, control or regulating systems, and secret communication systems. Among these, secret communication systems are key technologies in academia, and more scientific research resources should be invested in secret communication R&D in the future. In addition, the key technologies of academic SEPs have changed; specifically, image coding technology has undergone major developments. Accordingly, this study developed a key technology network model for academic standard-essential patents to verify those academic technologies that are vital to industrial applications. With the advent of wireless communication and digital technology, low power, Internet-enabled, and reconfigurable wireless devices have been developed, which revolutionized day-to-day human life and the economy across the globe. These devices are realized by leveraging the features of sensing, processing the data and nodes communications. The scale of Internet-enabled wireless devices has increased daily, and these devices are exposed to various cyberattacks. Since the complexity and dynamics of the attacks on the devices are computationally high, intelligent, scalable and high-speed intrusion detection systems (IDS) are required. Moreover, the wireless devices are battery-driven; implementing them would consume more energy, weakening the accuracy of detecting the attacks. Hence the design of the IDS is required, which has to establish the good trade-offs between Energy and accuracy. This research includes the Multi-tiered Intrusion Detection (MDIT) with hybrid deep learning models for improved detection accuracy in wireless networks; spotted hyena optimization (SHO) and Long short-term memory (LSTM) have been studied to design IDS effectively. Extensive experimentation has been carried out in real-time scenarios using the Node MCU Embedded boards and standard benchmarks such as CIDDS-001, UNSWNB15 and KDD++ datasets compared with the other traditional and existing learning models. The average prediction accuracy of 99.89% for all datasets has been achieved. The results show that the proposed system guarantees a high detection accuracy and reduces the prediction time, making this system suitable for resource-constrained IP-enabled wireless devices. The digitization of industries enables a rapid transformation from mass production to individualized manufacturing. Communication plays an essential role in this digital transformation; in particular, wireless communication enables a high degree of flexibility, dynamic interactions, and mobility support in production systems. This paper presents an implementation of a 5G system with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and analyzes a typical industrial use case involving cloud-controlled mobile robots. A prototype setup integrating 5G in a TSN network has been completed to evaluate the 5G-TSN performance for industrial applications. Sensor nodes are dynamic in nature and the nodes tend to move dynamically during the course of time. The movement is done beyond boundary limitation using its random approach and the data transmission is done accordingly depends on the way it moves. Such approach is termed RWP and its works based on the node movement velocity within the boundary addressed using RWPB. The sensor node velocity distribution is uniformly distributed and the velocity is affected when the nodes are restricted within boundary. In this work, the concept is addressed with the node movement using sensor node handover mechanism. The work further addresses the delay distribution by minimizing the risk of active sensor node and its velocity distribution. The delay distribution is addressed with the latency avoidance inorder to avoid packet loss and its delay. Overall the work uses the concepts of RWPB along with efficient handover mechanism avoids sensor node delay when there is change in velocity and thus provide efficient hand over mechanism. For the purpose of overcoming the random permutation ambiguity of the frequency-domain-independent component analysis (FDICA) for blind separation of convolutive mixtures, this paper proposes an independent vector analysis (IVA) detection receiver for blindly deconvolving the convolutive mixtures of digitally modulated signals for wireless communications. The foundation of IVA is through jointly carrying out separation work for different frequency bin data fusion, and the dependencies of frequency bins are exploited in solving the random permutation problem of separation signals. In addition, IVA uses multivariate prior distributions instead of the univariate distribution used in FDICA. Multivariate prior distribution is employed to preserve the interfrequency dependencies for individual sources, which can give rise to separation performance enhancement.
