The mtegrationof technology into the educational process falls under the responsibility of scIioo1 administrators. School adrmmstratobs need, to constantly improve themselves in order for cchools to reac-lt the determined technological tahs present rescarch was nonducted with the aim of determining the levels of technologicat leadership among primary school administrators and. evaluating them in terms of various variables. The survey research model, a quantitative research method, was employed, for this study, and a simple random sampling method was used in the selection of the sample. The samples oil' the research consisted of 197 managers, o3 of whom were women and 154 were men. In the findings obtained in the research, there were no significant differences in the techef logicril leabesship views of primahy school edministrators in terms of gender educational background, age, and yeass of service variables. In terms of the variable of the residential area where primyry' school admmistrafors serve, a significant difference was found, in the sub-dimension of systematic, development; however, no significant differences were reached in the of her sub-dimensions. Significant differences were aloo fiunnd in their viewh on the awareness of educational technology resources variable in the sub-dimensions of digital age learning culanre and systematic, development, while no signiaicant differences were hound, in the other sub-dimensions. In this research, it was concluded that school administrators consider themselves to be at an intermediate level in terms of technological leadership self-efficacy. It can be said that school administrators ere not at a very ghod level in tenets of tefhnofogical leadership. As a result of the research, it can be said ipcluding the ability' to uee technology m the anointment criteria for appointment and. selection as school administrators will be important fon the development and chang e of schiools. This study, which was conducted to examine the relationship between the self-efficacy perceptions of teachers working in vocational and technical high schools and their perceptions of 21st century skills towards school principals, was carried out on the basis of the exploratory sequential mixed design, which is one of the mixed research designs. In the quantitative dimension of the study, 610 teachers working in MTL located in K.Maraş province were included by criterion sampling method. The qualitative study group consists of 24 teachers selected by purposive sampling method. In the study, data were collected using the "Educational Manager 21st Century Skills Scale", "21st Century Skills Self-Efficacy Perception Scale" and an interview form. The data obtained from the scales were tested by t-test, ANOVA test and correlation analysis. Qualitative data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Based on the research findings, the following conclusions were reached; While a significant difference was found in both scales according to both gender and seniority, no significant difference was found according to graduation status. In the analysis of qualitative findings, teachers' opinions supporting these findings were frequently encountered. As a result of the correlation analysis, a positive and significant relationship was found between both scales. In the sub-dimensions of the scales, it was observed that there were generally positive and significant relationships. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This research aims to determine the level of servant leadership perceptions of primary school teachers about school administrators and to find out whether they vary according to demographic factors. In this researc. The research is made with a total of 208 primary school teachers working in public primary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the Küçükçekmece District of Istanbul in the 2020-2021 academic year. Within the scope of the research, demographic information form is used in addition to the servant leadership scale. "Servant Leadership Scale" improved by Aslan and Özata (2011) includes 3 dimensions and 14 questions. "Servant Leadership Scale" is categorized as empowerment, service and vision. To analyze the data, SPSS 26.00 program is used. T test, standard deviation, arithmetic mean are used in the analysis of the data. According to the consequences of the analysis of the data, it was determined that the perceptions of the classroom teachers about the school administrators are at a high level. It is determined that the empowerment sub-dimension of Servant leadership perception is high: Service subdimension is moderate and Vision sub-dimension is high. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership about school administrators are viewed according to the variables of gender, educational status, marital status, and graduation status. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership differ considerably according to the variables of graduation status and educational status. The considerable difference that emerged is for the benefit of those who graduated from other faculties and graduates. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership do not show a statistically substantial difference according to gender and marital status. As a conclusion, in-service trainings on servant leadership behaviors can be given to school administrators and it can be suggested to increase their education levels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Considering that the education infrastructure and beneficiaries are damaged by disasters and service continuity is not ensured, an effective disaster management scheme is needed for resilient education infrastructure.In this context, it is aimed to evaluate the perspectives of school administrators on disaster preparedness, roles and responsibilities. Within the scope of the study, face-to-face interviews were conducted using semi-structured interview forms with 26 participants working as school administrators in 10 different schools in the center of Gümüşhane province, which were determined by criterion sampling method. The data were collected in the 2019-2020 academic year fall-spring term. As a result of the analysis, the participants who stated that they do not have a role in disaster and emergency situations, revealed a very broad approach when they stated the roles they should have. It is recommended that experts who have completed their training in disaster management are included in the organizational structure, creating professional units, identifying hazards, preparing risk and crisis plans, supporting all phases of disaster management with legislation for units, and clarifying roles for disasters and emergencies. 24. Identifying Challenging Behaviors Demonstrated by Students in Schools and Interventions for the Challenging Behaviors.

- Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the challenging behaviors of the students and interventions for these behaviors according to the views of the educational staff. The sample was planned within the scope of descriptive qualitative research, and consists of 54 participants working in the primary and secondary schools of the Ministry of Education in Ankara province. The data were collected through semi-structured interview forms. As a result of content analysis, two main themes, including "violenceaggression" and "disobedience" were determined according to views of the participants. The most common challenging behaviors defined by the students under the main theme of "violence-aggression" were "hitting and swearing", while the most frequently referred behavior was "talking without permission" under "disobedience" theme. Two main themes are also identified as "interfering approach" and "preventive approach" under the title of intervention types for challenging behaviors. The most applied approach is "interviewing with families", while the least applied approach is "office referrals" in interfering approach. The most common approach is "organizing trainings," while the least applied approach is "teaching rules" in preventive approach. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the distributed leadership levels of managers according to the views of class teachers in state primary schools. This research is in the screening model. The universe of the research is composed of 2200 class teachers who are working in primary schools in Elazığ in the 2017-2018 academic year. The sample is composed of 251 class teachers determined by simple random sampling. "Distributed leadership" scale developed by Özkan and Çakır (2017) was used as a data collection tool in the research. t-Test for independent groups and one-way ANOVA was performed to determine whether there was a significant difference between opinions for some variables. The distributed leadership levels of managers are determined as "I agree" in the subdimensions of formal structure, purpose unity, cooperation and trust, responsibility sharing, incentive and initiative and in the full scale. - Abstract
The main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between the perceptions of school administrators and teachers on the ego states perceived and expected in each other. In this study, correlational survey method is used. The population of this study consists of school principals, vice principals and teachers working at private primary and high schools attached to the National Education Ministry on the Anatolian side in İstanbul. The sample group consists of 260 teachers, 205 of whom are female and 55 of whom are male, and 75 administrators, 35 of whom are female and 40 of whom are male. According to the findings of study; the sex variable is not differentiating in teachers' evaluations of the either perceived or idealized principal, except in the "natural child" ego state of the ideal principal. The same is valid for the evaluation of the vice principals. The school type variable is not differentiating in teachers' evaluations of the perceived principal. However, in teachers' evaluations of the ideal principals and vice principals it is a differentiating variable in the "criticizing parents", "adult", and "natural child" ego states. This research aims to determine the level of servant leadership perceptions of primary school teachers about school administrators and to find out whether they vary according to demographic factors. In this researc. The research is made with a total of 208 primary school teachers working in public primary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the Küçükçekmece District of Istanbul in the 2020- 2021 academic year. Within the scope of the research, demographic information form is used in addition to the servant leadership scale. "Servant Leadership Scale" improved by Aslan and Özata (2011) includes 3 dimensions and 14 questions. "Servant Leadership Scale" is categorized as empowerment, service and vision. To analyze the data, SPSS 26.00 program is used. T test, standard deviation, arithmetic mean are used in the analysis of the data. According to the consequences of the analysis of the data, it was determined that the perceptions of the classroom teachers about the school administrators are at a high level. It is determined that the empowerment sub-dimension of Servant leadership perception is high: Service subdimension is moderate and Vision sub-dimension is high. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership about school administrators are viewed according to the variables of gender, educational status, marital status, and graduation status. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership differ considerably according to the variables of graduation status and educational status. The considerable difference that emerged is for the benefit of those who graduated from other faculties and graduates. Primary school teachers' perceptions of servant leadership do not show a statistically substantial difference according to gender and marital status. As a conclusion, in-service trainings on servant leadership behaviors can be given to school administrators and it can be suggested to increase their education levels., Bu araştırmanın amacı; sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul yöneticileri ile ilgili hizmetkâr liderlik algılarının hangi düzeyde olduğunu belirlemek ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre farklılaşma durumunu incelemektir. Tarama modeline göre yürütülen araştırma, 2020-2021 eğitim ve öğretim yılı içerisinde İstanbul’un Küçükçekmece İlçesindeki Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı bünyesindeki devlet ilkokullarında öğretmenlik yapan toplam 208 sınıf öğretmeni ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında hizmetkâr liderlik ölçeğinin yanında demografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Aslan ve Özata (2011)’nın geliştirdiği “Hizmetkâr Liderlik Ölçeği” 3 boyuttan ve 14 sorudan oluşmaktadır. “Hizmetkâr Liderlik Ölçeği” güçlendirme, hizmet ve vizyon olarak boyutlandırılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 26.00 programı ile yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız grup t testi, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analiz sonuçlarına göre sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul yöneticileri ile ilgili algılarının yüksek seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hizmetkâr liderlik algısının güçlendirme alt boyutunun yüksek seviyede; Hizmet alt boyutunun orta seviyede ve Vizyon alt boyutunun yüksek seviyede olduğu saptanmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin okul yöneticileri ile ilgili hizmetkâr liderlik algıları cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, mezuniyet durumu ve medeni durum değişkenlerine göre incelenmiştir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin hizmetkâr liderlik algıları mezuniyet durumu ve eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Ortaya çıkan anlamlı farklılık diğer fakülteleri bitirenler ve yüksek lisans mezunları lehinedir. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin hizmetkâr liderlik algıları cinsiyet ve medeni durum değişkenine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Araştırma sonucunda okul yöneticilerine hizmetkâr liderlik davranışlarına yönelik hizmet içi eğitimler verilebilir ve eğitim düzeylerinin arttırılması önerilebilir.

Study of universe is the province of İstanbul, located in the District of Bahçelievler in technical and vocational high schools, teachers in charge. As a sample, This method with selected teachers on duty at school among random 252 teacher. The scale used by Köse (2008) to collect data in research are 'the aim of preferred management 'and 'management perspective' At the end of the research, It was observed that the participants' 'the aim of preferred management 'and 'management perspective' level s of demands are positive. No significant difference in the gender variable about 'the aim of preferred management ' and 'management perspective'. - Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal the problems which teachers and administrators face with at schools where foreign students enroll in, and to offer solutions and recommendations for these problems. As a qualitative research design, phenemonology is chosen for the study. The data was collected through interviews with teachers and administrators at schools in Denizli where foreign students are attending. Maximum sampling was used for the selection of the participants. Analyses figured out four themes named family characteristics of foreign students, problems faced, solutions of the problems faced and suggestions. Under the theme of family characteristics, the data was categorized as the reasons why they are in Turkey, family structure, financial situation, the condition of being interested in child's education and the reasons of immigration. As for the problems which teachers and administrators face with, the data was categorized as the language problems, the problems in the collaboration between Ministry of National Education and the school, the problems in the collaboration between the school and the family, and the problems in the process of instruction. In terms of the third and the fourth themes of the study, the solutions which the teachers and the administrators offer for the problems mentioned above have been discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Araştırmanın temel amacı; ortaokul öğretmenlerinin hesap verebilirlik algıları ile yöneticilerinin hizmetkâr liderlik davranış düzeylerine ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymak ve değişkenler ile ilgili katılımcı görüşlerinde ortaya çıkan ilişki düzeyini belirlemektir. Çalışma ilişkisel tarama yöntemi ile hazırlanmış ve 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Bolu merkez ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenler üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini bu ortaokullarda çalışan 304 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Çalışma verileri öğretmen hesap verebilirlik ölçeği ve okul müdürlerinin hizmetkâr liderlik düzeyleri ölçekleri ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; ortaokul öğretmenlerinin hesap verebilirlik algılarının “çok katılıyorum”, yöneticilerin öğretmen görüşlerine göre hizmetkâr liderlik davranış düzeylerinin ise “çoğu zaman” düzeyinde olduğunu bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin hesap verebilirlik algıları tüm değişkenlerde (cinsiyet, eğitim düzeyi, kıdem, yaş) anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken; öğretmenlerin yöneticilerinin hizmetkâr liderlik davranış düzeyleri algıları ise sadece cinsiyet değişkeninde anlamlı bir fark göstermiş; diğer değişkenlerde (eğitim düzeyi, yaş, kıdem) ise anlamlı bir fark göstermemiştir. Öğretmenlerin hesap verebilirlik ve hizmetkâr liderlik algı düzeyleri arasında orta derecede pozitif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.ABSTRACT The main aim of the research is to present the views of the teachers of Secondary School on accountability perceptions and their managers about the level of Service leadership behavior and to determine the level of relationship that emerges in the participatory views about variables. The study was prepared using relational screening method and applied on teachers working in Bolu Central Secondary Schools in 2018-2019 academic year. The sample of the study consisted of 304 teachers working in these secondary schools. The study data were collected with the teacher accountability scale and the school principals ' servant leadership levels scale. According to the results, it was found that the perception of accountability of secondary school teachers was “very agree”, and the level of Service leadership behaviour according to the teachers 'opinions was “often". Teachers ' accountability perceptions do not differ significantly in all variables (gender, educational level, seniority, age); teachers, administrators perceptions of levels of servant leadership behavior showed a significant difference in the gender variable only; other variables (educational level, age, seniority) showed a significant difference. It was found that teachers had a moderately positive relationship between accountability and the level of Service leadership perception.Keywords: Accountability, Servant Leadership, Teacher, Manage.

The purpose of this research is the evaluation of Primary and Secondary school directors' managerial behaviors and characters in accordance with the teachers' ideas. The research is a qualitative research. In the research assessment and evaluation instrument which consists of 7 items which has been prepared regarding the experts' opinions in order to determine 'the teachers' views concerning the reflection of school managers' managerial behaviors and characters into the school atmosphere' has been used. The target population of the study consists of total 83 teachers 27 of whom work at Primary school, 18 of whom work at secondary school, 37 of whom work at high school and who work at 4 primary schools, 4 secondary schools and 4 high schools from the central schools which are connected with Igdir Provincial Directorate of National Education, 46 of whom are female, 37 of whom are male. Bu araştırmanın amacı lise düzeyindeki okullarda görev yapan yöneticilerin dönüşümcü liderlik tarzları ile öğretmenlerin iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. İş doyumu bireysel ve çevresel birçok faktörden etkilenmektedir. Araştırmada okuldaki yöneticilerin uyguladıkları liderlik tarzları çevresel bir faktör olarak ele alınacak ve öğretmenlerin iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkileri irdelenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Bursa ili Nilüfer ilçesi, örneklemini ise Nilüfer ilçesinde lise düzeyinde eğitim veren resmi ve özel okullarında çalışan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaçla öğretmenlere uygulanan ankette öncelikli olarak demografik yapılarına ve iş hayatlarına ilişkin tanımlayıcı sorular yöneltilmiştir. Daha sonrasında katılımcıların iş doyum düzeylerini ve dönüşümcü liderliğe ilişkin algılarını anlamak için sorular yöneltilerek geniş bir sorgulama yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya toplam 250 öğretmen katılmıştır. Geniş kapsamlı tanımlayıcı ve karşılaştırmalı bir analiz sonucunda öğretmenlerin iş doyumlarının ve dönüşümcü liderliğe olan bakış açılarının birçok değişkenden eş zamanlı olarak etkilendiği saptanmıştır. Aynı zamanda öğretmenlerin iş doyum seviyeleri ile dönüşümcü liderliğe yaklaşımları arasında güçlü ve pozitif düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the transformational leadership styles of high school administrators and teachers' job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is affected by many individual and environmental factors. In this study, the leadership styles of school administrators are considered as an environmental factor and the relationship between teachers' job satisfaction was examined. The population of the study is comprised of Bursa province Nilüfer district and the sample consists of teachers working in public and private schools providing high school education in Nilüfer district. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to the teachers. First of all, descriptive questions were asked about their demographic structure and business life. Afterwards, a wide-ranging questioning was conducted to understand the participants' job satisfaction levels and their perceptions on the transformational leadership. A total of 250 teachers participated in the study. As a result of a comprehensive descriptive and comparative analysis, it was found that teachers' job satisfaction and their perceptions on transformational leadership were simultaneously affected by many variables. At the same time, it was determined that there is a strong and positive relationship between teachers' job satisfaction and their perceptions on transformational leadership.

Tam Metin / Full Text Araştırmanın amacı, yöneticilerin paternalist davranışları ile öğretmenlerin iş doyumu arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Bu amaçla yapılan araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Evreni, Sinop ilinde görev yapan 2517 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem evrenden tesadüfi örnekleme yoluyla seçilen 333 öğretmenden oluşmuş fakat araştırmanın kapsamının geliştirilmesi sebebiyle 717 öğretmenin cevapları esas alınmıştır. Araştırmada yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışlarının tespiti için “Okul Müdürlerinin Paternalist Liderlik Davranışları Ölçeği” ve öğretmenlerin iş doyumunu belirlemek için de “Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri analizlerinde, frekans, yüzdelik dağılım, aritmetik ortalama, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), korelasyon ve regresyon analizi tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Öğretmen algılarına göre yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışları “orta” düzeyde bulunmuştur. Cinsiyet, medeni durum ve eğitim durumları değişkenlerine göre öğretmenlerin yöneticilerinin paternalist liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin algıları arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Buna karşılık mesleki kıdem, branş ve okul türü değişkenlerine göre öğretmen görüşleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Mesleki kıdemi 1-5 yıl olan öğretmenlerin algıları 11-15 yıl olanlardan anlamlı derecede daha yüksektir. Yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin branş öğretmenlerinin algıları, sınıf öğretmenlerininkinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Okul türü değişkenine göre, okul yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin ortaokul öğretmenlerinin algıları, ilkokul ve lise öğretmenlerinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksektir. Öğretmenlerin iş doyum düzeyleri, ortalamanın üstünde “memnun” biçiminde olmuştur. Öğretmenlerin iş doyumları cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu ve mesleki kıdem değişkenleri açısından herhangi bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Buna karşın, branş değişkenine göre, öğretmenlerinin iş doyum düzeyleri sınıf öğretmenlerininkinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksektir. Okul türü değişkenine göre ise, ortaokul ve lise öğretmenlerinin iş doyum düzeyleri, ilkokul öğretmenlerinden anlamlı derecede daha yüksektir. Öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışlarına ilişkin algıları ile iş doyumu algıları arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışları arttıkça, öğretmenlerin iş doyum düzeyleri de artmaktadır. Diğer yandan yöneticilerin paternalist liderlik davranışları, öğretmenlerin iş doyumlarının anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir (R2:.24=% 24). The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the paternalistic behaviors of administrators and the job satisfaction of teachers. For this purpose, the relational survey model was used in the study. The universe of the research consists of 2517 teachers working in Sinop. The sample consisted of 333 teachers selected by random sampling from the universe, but due to the development of the scope of the research, the answers of 717 teachers were taken as basis. In the study, the "Paternalistic Leadership Behaviors Scale of School Principals" was used to determine the paternalistic leadership behaviors of the administrators and the "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" was used to determine the job satisfaction of the teachers. In the data analysis of the research, frequency, percentile distribution, arithmetic mean, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation and regression analysis techniques were used. According to the perceptions of the teachers, the paternalistic leadership behaviors of the administrators were found at the "moderate" level. According to the variables of gender, marital status and educational status, there was no significant difference between teachers' perceptions of their administrators' paternalistic leadership behaviors. On the other hand, significant differences were found among teachers' opinions according to the variables of professional seniority, branch and school type. The perceptions of teachers with a professional seniority of 15 years are significantly higher than those of 11-15 years. The perceptions of the branch teachers regarding the paternalistic leadership behaviors of the administrators were found to be significantly higher than those of the classroom teachers. According to the school type variable, secondary school teachers' perceptions of school administrators' paternalistic leadership behaviors are significantly higher than primary and high school teachers. Teachers' job satisfaction levels were above the average as "satisfied". Teachers' job satisfaction does not show any difference in terms of gender, marital status, educational status and professional seniority. On the other hand, according to the branch variable, the job satisfaction levels of the teachers are significantly higher than those of the classroom teachers. According to the school type variable, the job satisfaction levels of secondary and high school teachers are significantly higher than primary school teachers. A significant and positive relationship was found between teachers' perceptions of administrators' paternalistic leadership behaviors and their perceptions of job satisfaction. As the paternalistic leadership behaviors of the administrators increase, the job satisfaction levels of the teachers also increase. On the other hand, it was determined that the paternalistic leadership behaviors of the administrators were a significant predictor of the teachers' job satisfaction (R2:.24=24%).

Bu çalışma, eğitim yönetimi temelinde öğretmenlerin ve yöneticilerin aşırı iş yükü ve tükenmişlik algıları arasındaki ilişkileri incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Çalışanların aşırı iş yükü ve tükenmişlik düzeylerinin, birbirleri ile ne ölçüde ilişkili olduğu, çalışmanın motivasyonunu oluşturmaktadır. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin; faktör analizi, korelasyon analizi gibi istatistiksel yöntemler ile analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada İstanbul Başakşehir'de eğitim veren özel kurumlar ele alınmış, konu ile ilgili hazırlanan ölçek formu ile öğretmenler ve yöneticilerden alınan veriler kullanılarak çalışmada yer alan değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, hem öğretmenlerin hem de yöneticilerin tükenmişlik düzeyleri orta seviyede bulunmasına karşın, öğretmenlerin tükenmişlik düzeyleri yöneticilere göre daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin ve yöneticilerin aşırı iş yükü düzeyleri, birbirine yakın bulunmuştur. Her iki grup için de aşırı iş yükü düzeyi yüksektir. Bununla birlikte katılımcıların aşırı iş yükü ile tükenmişlik algıları arasında pozitif bir ilişki vardır. Aşırı iş yükü ve tükenmişlik düzeyleri, katılımcıların cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu, çalışılan süre ve çalıştıkları pozisyonlara göre farklılık göstermiştir. This study aimed to examine the relationships between teachers' and administrators' perceptions of excessive workload and burnout on the basis of educational administration. The extent to which the excessive workload and burnout levels of the employees are related to each other constitutes the motivation of the work. The relationship between the variables; It is aimed to be analyzed by statistical methods such as factor analysis and correlation analysis. In the study, private institutions providing education in Istanbul Başakşehir were discussed, and the relations between the variables in the study were examined by using the scale form prepared on the subject and the data obtained from the teachers and administrators. According to the findings, although the burnout levels of both teachers and administrators were at a moderate level, the burnout levels of teachers were found to be higher than that of administrators. The excessive workload levels of teachers and administrators were found to be close to each other. The level of overwork is high for both groups. However, there is a positive relationship between the participants' excessive workload and their perceptions of burnout. Excessive workload and burnout levels differed according to the gender, age, education level, duration of work and positions of the participants.

Empati, bir insanın kendisini karşısındakinin yerine koyarak onun duygularını, düşüncelerini doğru biçimde anlamasıdır. İletişimin yoğun ve aralıksız olduğu çağımızda empati kavramı hem bireysel hem de kurumsal düzeyde insan ilişkilerinin temel ve vazgeçilmez bir öğesi olmaya adaydır. Empatik eğilimleri gelişkin bireyler, insan ilişkilerinde daha başarılı olurlar ve problemleri daha hızlı ve doğru çözebilirler. Bu bağlamda empatik eğilimleri yüksek eğitimciler, hem kendilerine hem öğrencilerine hem de kurumlarına büyük fayda sağlayabilirler. Bu araştırmanın genel amacı; yönetici ve öğretmenlerin empatik eğilimleri ile problem çözme becerilerinin ne düzeyde olduğunu belirlemek, demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğini tespit etmek, yönetici ve öğretmenlerin empatik eğilimleri ile problem çözme becerileri arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olup olmadığını belirmektir. Araştırma, betimsel ve ilişkisel tarama modeline göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın evreni; 2017–2018 eğitim öğretim yılı, İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler, Başakşehir ilçelerindeki MEB'e bağlı 681 okuldaki 20083 öğretmen ve yöneticidir (İnternet kaynağı, İstanbul MEM: 14-15). Örneklem ise 2017–2018 eğitim öğretim yılı, İstanbul ili Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler, Başakşehir ilçelerindeki MEB'e bağlı 42 devlet okulu ile 11 özel okuldaki 500 öğretmen ve 200 yönetici ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında demografik bilgi formunun yanında yöneticiler için empatik eğilim ölçeği, öğretmenler için empatik eğilim ölçeği ve problem çözme envanteri kullanılarak veri toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 25.0 paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Buna göre aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, Anova, Pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Veri analizi sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin empatik eğilimlerinin orta düzeyde olduğu, problem çözme becerilerinin ise yüksek düzeyde olduğu; yöneticilerin empatik eğilimleri ile problem çözme becerilerinin yüksek düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin empatik eğilimleri bayan öğretmenler, bekârlar, 21 ve üzeri yıl mesleki kıdeme sahip olanlar, yüksek lisans mezunları ve özel/vakıf okulunda çalışan öğretmenler lehine anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Yöneticilerin empatik eğilimleri cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, mesleki kıdem, eğitim durumu, görev yapılan eğitim kademesi, branş, mesleğini isteyerek yapma, görev yapılan okul türü değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Öğretmenlerin problem çözme becerileri 51 yaş ve üzeri, 21 ve üzeri yıl mesleki kıdeme sahip olanlar, yüksek lisans mezunları, lisede çalışan ve mesleğini seven öğretmenler lehine anlamlı bir farklılık göstermektedir. Yöneticilerin problem çözme becerileri; yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu, kıdem, görev yapılan eğitim kademesi, branş, öğretmenlik mesleğini isteyerek seçme, okul türü, göreve göre değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Yöneticilerde ve öğretmenlerde empatik eğilim arttıkça problem çözme becerileri de artmaktadır. Empathy is the correct understanding of a person's feelings and thoughts by putting himself in the other person's shoes. In our age where communication is intense and uninterrupted, the concept of empathy is a candidate to become a basic and indispensable element of human relations at both individual and corporate levels. Individuals with advanced empathic tendencies are more successful in human relations and can solve problems faster and more accurately. In this context, educators with higher empathic tendencies can greatly benefit both themselves, their students and their institutions. The general purpose of this research is; To determine the level of empathic tendencies and problem solving skills of administrators and teachers, to determine whether there is a significant difference according to demographic variables, to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the empathic tendencies of administrators and teachers and their problem solving skills. The research was conducted according to the descriptive and relational survey model. The universe of the research; In the 2017-2018 academic year, she is 20083 teachers and administrators in 681 schools in Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler, and Başakşehir districts of Istanbul province (Internet source, Istanbul MEM: 14-15). The sample was carried out with 500 teachers and 200 administrators in 42 public schools and 11 private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the districts of Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler and Başakşehir in the 2017-2018 academic year. Within the scope of the research, data were collected using the empathic tendency scale for the administrators, the empathic tendency scale for the teachers and the problem solving inventory besides the demographic information form. The analysis of the data was done with the SPSS 25.0 package program. Accordingly, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t test, Anova, Pearson correlation analysis was used. According to the data analysis results, it was found that teachers' empathic tendencies were medium and their problem solving skills were high; Empathic tendencies and problem solving skills of managers were found to be at a high level. Empathic tendencies of teachers show a significant difference in favor of female teachers, singles, those with 21 or more years of professional seniority, master graduates and teachers working in private / foundation schools. Empathic tendencies of the administrators do not show a statistically significant difference according to the variables of gender, age, marital status, professional seniority, education level, education level, branch, voluntary doing the job, and the type of school. The problem-solving skills of teachers show a significant difference in favor of those who are 51 years and older, those who have a professional seniority of 21 and over, graduate graduates, high school teachers and teachers who love their profession. Problem solving skills of managers; It does not show a significant difference according to age, gender, marital status, educational status, seniority, education level, branch, voluntary selection of the teaching profession, type of school, and according to the task. As the empathic tendency increases in administrators and teachers, problem solving skills also increase.

Bu makale 21-24 Mart 2019 tarihleri arasında Afyon’da düzenlenen III. Uluslararası Bilim ve Eğitim Kongresi’nde (UBEK 2019) sözlü bildiri olarak sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin eğitimiyle ilgili okullarda yapılan çalışmalara, yaşanan sorunlara, yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin Türk öğrencileri etkileme durumlarına ve yaşanan sorunların çözümüne ilişkin yönetici ve öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma nitel araştırma modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bolu il merkezinde devlet okullarında 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında 3’ü ilkokul, 3’ü ortaokul ve 4’ü lisede çalışan 10 yönetici; 5’i ilkokul, 12’si ortaokul ve 8’i lisede çalışan toplam 25 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanıp, betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda okullarda yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin eğitimine ilişkin yapılan çalışmalarla ilgili yönetici ve öğretmen görüşleri; akademik eğitim ve dil eğitimi konularında benzerlik göstermiş, öğretmenler ayrıca rehberlik çalışmaları ve idari çalışmalar konularında da görüş belirtmişlerdir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin eğitiminde yaşanan sorunlar konusunda yönetici ve öğretmen görüşleri; dil ve iletişim problemleri, ailevi sorunlar konularında benzerlik göstermiş, bunlara ek olarak yöneticiler yasal sorunlar, öğretmenler ise akademik sorunlar ve oryantasyon problemleri konularına dikkat çekmişlerdir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin Türk öğrencileri etkileme durumlarına ilişkin hem yönetici hem de öğretmen görüşleri olumlu, olumsuz ve etkilemiyor başlıklarında toplanmıştır. Yöneticiler genellikle olumlu olarak, Türk öğrencilerin başarılı yabancı uyruklu öğrencileri örnek almasını, öğretmenler ise yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin kültürlerarası etkileşim sağlamalarını göstermişlerdir. Olumsuz olarak ise hem yönetici hem de öğretmenler genellikle yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin disiplinsiz davranışlarının Türk öğrencilerce örnek alındığını belirtmişlerdir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin eğitiminde yaşanan sorunlarının çözüm önerilerinde yönetici ve öğretmen görüşleri; rehberlik, akademik eğitim ve dil eğitimi konularında benzerlik göstermiş, yöneticiler buna ek olarak, yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin ekonomik yönden geliştirilmesi konusunda görüş belirtmişlerdir. This qualitative study aims to present administrators' and teachers' views on the work done in schools related to education of international students, the problems experienced, the situations of international students affecting Turkish students, and the solution to the issues encountered. The study group consisted of 10 administrators and 25 teachers working in public schools in Bolu province in the 2018-2019 school year. The research data were collected with a semi-structured interview form and analyzed with descriptive analysis and content analysis. Findings showed that the teachers ' views of administrators and teachers related to the study of internationalstudents in schools were similar in regards to academic education and language education, and the teachers also expressed views on guidance and Administrative Studies. Moreover, administrators drew attention to legal problems, academic problems and orientation problems. Both the administrator and teacher views on the situation of international students affecting Turkish students were categorised under the headings of positive, negative and not affected. Administrators frequently mentioned that Turkish students took the example of successful international students and teachers providing intercultural interaction for these students. As a result, both administrators and teachers often stated that the non-disciplined behavior of international students was exemplary for Turkish students. Administrator and teacher views concerning suggested solutions for issues encountered in the education of international students; guidance, academic education and language education have shown similar views on the development of international students in terms of economics.
