The world has entered the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The Internet of Things continues to be developed to support the industrial revolution and the utilization of more appropriate technology to help human work. IoT-based baby incubator temperature and humidity monitoring system with the ultimate goal of producing a research that in the future can be developed as a viable system for medical purposes. The system is designed as a prototype and props by utilizing the DHT11 sensor as well as relay output modules, buzzers, and lights. Raspberry Pi acts as a data processor that receives data from the sensor and then stores it in the database that has been embedded in it. The database can be displayed in real-time on a web page designed for all devices. The lamp as a temperature guard props is automatically controlled and the buzzer module as an alarm if the system is not connected to the network. The final goal of this research is to produce a simple monitoring product that can record baby incubator data and the data can be developed as an analysis by medical staff later by utilizing IoT and machine learning. In prior research, a microcontroller-assisted SMS gateway was used to create a system for light control. This makes it unnecessary to push the light switch on the wall to control the lights in the house. In tandem with technical advancements, the Raspberry Pi 3, often known as a mini-PC, has been created as a controller device (PC). In this study, the Raspberry Pi 3 was utilized to deploy the Raspbian Jessie operating system on the light control system, and the action research methodology was employed to generate research results that were consistent with the study's aims. In order to execute the user interface of the Raspberry Pi 3 based lamp control system, the Python programming language is also required. For testing the lighting control system, an E10-fitted incandescent flashlight and an E27-fitted incandescent household lamp were employed. Based on the results of this study, a Raspberry Pi 3 with Raspbian Jessie and a relay module can be used to easily and effectively turn on and off household incandescent bulbs (fitting type E27) using a web-based user interface.
