The purpose if this report is to describe all the work developed in the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice (STP), which took place at a Middle School (from the 5th to the 9th grade) in the district of Braga. It is divided into four main parts. In the first part, there is an approach to the initial expectations of the conducted study, a characterization of the class and of the institutional framework. The second part is focused on the pedagogical intervention in the teaching learning process and it is centered on planning, organization and management of teaching and learning. Taking into consideration the reflexive process that this report implies, it was given particular attention to the conception, planning, accomplishment and moments of evaluation. The third part reveals all the contribution to the school community, presenting all the school activities in which I actively participated. The fourth and final part shows the scientific study that resulted from an investigative study, in which we tried to analyse and compare the volume and intensity, in two lessons of forty-five minutes of Physical Education, involving different team sports. The sample consisted of twenty-seven Caucasian children (seven girls and twenty boys), with an average age of 12,5±0,5 years old. The physical activity was evaluated by accelerometry. The results reveal that Light Physical Activity (LPA) is predominant, having a higher percentage of time spent, while comparing to Moderate Physical Activity (MPA) and Vigorous Physical Activity (VPA). In both evaluation moments we were able to verify that the results of Total Physical Activity present a statistically significant difference (p=0,037). In this study, as a result of the intervention, we can conclude that the volleyball modality allows students to achieve a higher percentage of LPA time, while the football modality gives them a higher percentage of MPA time.
