BACKGROUND/AIM This study examined the prognostic impact of the past history of breast cancer screening within the last 2 years (PH-BCS), for patients with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), a subtype that carries extremely poor prognosis. PATIENTS AND METHODS Eighty-six consecutive cases with TNBC, who underwent surgery at our faculty from 2009 to 2015, were divided into two groups according to PH-BCS. Prognostic analyses for disease-free survival and overall survival between the two groups were performed.
