Las personas con discapacidad se enfrentan a diario con barreras que derivan del entorno físico, material o social en el que se desenvuelven. Para lograr que dicho entorno sea completamente inclusivo, se debe garantizar la accesibilidad, realizar las adaptaciones necesarias y reconocer las habilidades de cada individuo. El presente artículo muestra los resultados de una investigación llevada a cabo con el fin de comprobar si las bibliotecas están respondiendo a las necesidades los usuarios con discapacidad. Se analiza la producción científica en este ámbito en los últimos cincuenta años relacionada con las iniciativas de accesibilidad e inclusión destinadas a garantizar el acceso a la información de las personas con discapacidad en función del tipo de esta. Dicho análisis se sustenta en la realización de una revisión sistemática sobre el uso de los conceptos de “accesibilidad” e “inclusión” relacionados con el de “biblioteca” en la producción científica del ámbito de la Biblioteconomía y la Documentación en las bases de datos de Web of Science, Scopus y Library Science Database, Con ello, se pretende estudiar la atención que se presta a las personas con discapacidad y, en especial, a las personas con discapacidad auditiva = People with disabilities face daily barriers arising from the physical, material, or social environment in which they live. This work presents an extension action involving the topic of pesticides. This theme has been extensively developed, both in teaching and extension activities. However, the differential of the action reported here is that it was all planned to be accessible to the deaf and blind communities, working in a dialogic and critical way (according to Paulo Freire) the Brazilian agricultural development model, especially the intensive use of pesticides. From the documentary “Nuvens de Veneno”, accessible materials were created: Libras window in the documentary; chemical structures of the active ingredients printed in 3D and in high relief with inscriptions in Braille and audio-described; and a printed and audio-described leaflet, contextualizing the problems caused to the environment, human and animal health. All this material was used during the activity at the National Science and Technology Week. The action was carried out both in a booth during the event, at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and in the territory of a state school, during classes of chemistry of six high school classes. During the two days of exhibition at the stand, the activity generated interest from a wide range of audiences, from elementary school children, teachers - who took their classes - as well as a group of deaf students. In the school's territory, the activity moved the classes in a strong way, working on the chemistry of pesticides, social and environmental concerns, including refugee students, with intellectual disabilities, autism and cognitive and intellectual disorders. Based on their shared experiences, they will explore the expectations, needs, and realities of people with visual disabilities in today's university libraries, their challenges and proposals. Additionally, they will analyse the impact of architecture, collection, service quality, and staff training related to accessibility. They will emphasize the need for academic libraries to effectively adapt to ensure inclusion and equitable access for all users, regardless of their abilities. The speakers will highlight the importance of having accessible, inclusive, and person-centered university libraries where human rights are respected, independence is promoted, and that constitute safe spaces for students. El Código Técnico de la Edificación (CTE) en el apartado de Seguridad de Utilización y Accesibilidad (SUA) incluye más de 200 parámetros de accesibilidad que a su vez derivan a otras normativas. Sin embargo, los Informes de Evaluación del Edificio (IEE), como se mostrará en este trabajo, plantean un análisis mucho más escaso y subjetivo, no existiendo correlación entre sus indicadores y todos los previstos en el CTE. El objetivo de esta comunicación es analizar los parámetros del CTE en su conjunto, estudiar la proporción de parámetros físicos, frente a sensoriales y cognitivos y generar una herramienta que permita el conocimiento y aplicación de la accesibilidad universal en los edificios de vivienda plurifamiliar de forma eficiente. La metodología desarrollada es una revisión bibliográfica de la normativa y su volcado a unos listados Excel diseñados para clasificar y cuantificar los datos, donde se observa un crecimiento del 32% al añadir las normativas relacionadas y un alto peso de parámetros físicos Abstract The Technical Building Code (CTE) in the section on Safety in Use and Accessibility (SUA) includes more than 200 accessibility parameters that in turn derive from other regulations. However, the Building Evaluation Reports (IEE), as will be shown in this paper, propose a much more scarce and subjective analysis, and there is no correlation between its indicators and all those foreseen in the CTE. The aim of this paper is to analyse the parameters of the CTE as a whole, to study the proportion of physical versus sensory and cognitive parameters and to generate a tool that allows knowledge and application of universal accessibility in multi-family housing buildings in an efficient way. The methodology developed is a bibliographic review of the regulations and their dumping to Excel lists designed to classify and quantify the data, where a 32% growth is observed when adding the related regulations and a high weight of physical parameters.

The work primarily sought to describe the process of inclusion of higher education institutions in 10 (ten) campuses across the entire national territory, taking as reference the dimensions established in the strategic planning, as well as ergonomic and architectural, communicational, technological, programmatic, and methodological dimensions. Through the application of an observation guide, a preliminary identification was carried out, which subsequently allowed for a deeper exploration of experiences, knowledge, and understanding of the key topic with focus groups. The work was approached from an interpretive paradigm, using the inductive method, with a descriptive, qualitative, cross-sectional approach, which allowed for presenting the conditions of the object of study based on the gathered information, taking the aforementioned dimensions as elements to be analyzed in depth. The main results can be summarized as follows: there is progress in institutional actions related to strategic projects, as well as existing manuals and protocols; it is evident that the basic elements are incorporated and, despite everything, there is a gradual internal process taking place, which can permeate and facilitate future progress, fostering concrete and sustained actions over time. The aim of this paper is to describe the evolution of disability in cinema via its relationship with the specialized press. We analysed all movies’ data sheets from ‘Filmaffinity’ (n=1,180), together with all the professional reviews highlighted in them (n=2,000). The results show a preponderance of drama over other genres, although it is documentaries that obtain the best reception from cultural press. Women and Anglophone media tend to value these productions more favourably. In addition, the quality of the records, according to these experts, increases year after year. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Public libraries adapt to constant social changes to meet the needs of users, and among their constant challenges is inclusion and accessibility as a fundamental axis. This research with scientific methodology and qualitative approach aims to know, identify and determine the characteristics of inclusive practices and accessibility in Chilean libraries recognized with the Chile Inclusive Seal. The literature review focuses on areas of human rights, inclusion and accessibility. The collection of information was through interviews with the directors of recognized libraries to expose the implementation of their own inclusive practices, subsequently conducting a content analysis, and ending with conclusions and suggestions that determine the need to create more knowledge in the area of inclusion in public libraries. La vulnerabilidad del territorio en materia de inclusión quedó evidenciada ante la pandemia. Estudios realizados por World Bank y ONU-Habitat señalan que las personas con discapacidad (PcD) con COVID-19, tienen una tasa de mortandad hasta cuatro veces mayor, atribuida a las prácticas deficientes de políticas públicas y planificación que no consideran sus necesidades. La accesibilidad resulta un elemento fundamental de la inclusión, que reclama una revisión y evaluación participativa donde se incluya la percepción de usuarios, permitiendo la reconsideración de requerimientos en la nueva normalidad. La metodología parte de un estudio de comparación jerárquica de los requerimientos de accesibilidad identificados por PcD en el territorio urbano-arquitectónico de México. Posteriormente, dichos resultados son contrastados por grupos de expertos en la materia (investigadores del tema de la discapacidad). Los resultados son evaluados a través de un modelo matemático-fenoménico, el cual posibilita la realización de un análisis de juicios y percepción, identificando así los comportamientos prospectivos en cuanto a las prioridades identificadas. Como resultado se generan guías y recomendaciones basadas en un enfoque inclusivo, las cuales perfilan hacia la generación de un territorio urbano arquitectónico inclusivo, que considere las demandas de accesibilidad y responda a las condiciones que nos demanda la nueva normalidad.

El trabajo que estamos presentando recoge una experiencia de Aprendizaje y Servicio inclusivo y crítico, realizada en la Asociación para la mediación social EQUA de Cádiz desde una perspectiva investigadora. Este se centra en la presentación de resultados reflexivos del mismo desde las voces de sus protagonistas, un grupo de jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual que indagan sobre la accesibilidad en un contexto como fórmula para su empoderamiento. La primera parte de este trabajo recoge el marco de significados desde el que se construye, lo que implica su contextualización, así como la puesta en relación de sus ejes básicos, el Aprendizaje y Servicio y la accesibilidad. En un segundo momento se despliega la metodología que ha guiado la experiencia de Aprendizaje y Servicio ilustrando el proceso. This article presents a section of research under development by the Multi group, which aimed to develop a multiformat book accessible to all children. Currently there is a wide variety of children's books on the market, but without accessibility. The developed book has two versions: one in braille and ink in an enlarged font and another in Alternative Communication. Both have tactile illustrated images, audio description and storytelling in sign language. The theoretical basis is the perspective of systemic thinking with Bateson and Maturana. Polato, Claudet and Caldin are present as references. The methodology used was Research-Intervention. Universities, in compliance with current legislation, develop policies to favour inclusion. This implies significant effort in order to overcome barriers related with study plans, teaching methods and assessment, accessibility to both spaces and infrastructures, and technological supports. The main objective of the present study is to examine the perceptions of a group of students and teachers in order to obtain a general overview of accessibility at university. Specifically, the study strives to determine student and teacher evaluations of accessibility at their university, whilst also examining whether perceptions differ between both groups and as a function of knowledge field. Information was collected from both students and teachers using a questionnaire designed ad hoc for the study. Obtained outcomes indicate that surveyed students strongly agree that university infrastructures, center facilities, services available at university, furniture, classroom conditions and the online portal should favor the inclusion of individuals with disabilities. Similarly, teaching staff also manifested similar ideas although ratings for all items were slightly lower than those given by students. Likewise, significant differences were observed between the two populations, with students reporting that the furniture favored the inclusion of students with disabilities. The presence of people with disabilities in higher education shows affirmative policies in defense of a university accessible for all. It also calls on distinguished members of the academic community to reduce inequalities in access and participation in Higher Education, to population groups in a situation of social, economic, and educational vulnerability, including people with disabilities. This research describes the preparation of the instrument to identify inclusive policies, cultures, and practices in university contexts. It is the Inclusion Index for Higher Education (INES), translated and adapted for use in different university socio- educational environments. The results indicated adjustments in the original instrument and created the adapted version to the Brazilian university context. Las personas con discapacidad tienen que lidiar diariamente con barreras físicas, de actitud, sociales y políticas, en vista que su desarrollo integral se encuentra limitada. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la importancia del modelo social como alternativa para el desarrollo de la persona con discapacidad, Callao, Perú. La metodología empleada fue de enfoque cualitativo, método estudio de caso, la técnica utilizada fue la entrevista con su respectiva guía, tenemos además que coexistieron como unidades informantes: un funcionario del Estado de la Oficina municipal de atención a la persona con discapacidad (Omaped) Municipalidad Provincial del Callao, una ex coordinadora regional del Consejo para la integración de la persona con discapacidad (Conadis) Callao, cuatro personas con diferentes tipos de discapacidad y dos personas sin discapacidad. El procesamiento de datos se realizó mediante el Programa de análisis cualitativo Atlas Ti-7. De esta manera, se procedió con la triangulación de las teorías relacionadas y los trabajos previos, resultando de esta manera que los estudios guardaban coherencia con la investigación. Cabe precisar que autores multidisciplinarios como Abberley (1987), Oliver (1998) y Palacios (2008) fundamentaron un modelo social como el que se plantea. En la Convención sobre los derechos de la persona con discapacidad CDPD (ONU, 2006), se reconoció a estas personas como sujetos de Derechos Humanos. Actualmente existen avances en el Estado y la sociedad respecto al trato digno, accesibilidad universal e inclusión de la persona con discapacidad, pero las barreras aún subsisten, más aún porque las autoridades no cumplen con la normatividad para lograr una mejor calidad de vida. Por lo tanto, es necesario precisar que las políticas públicas sustentadas en el modelo social constituirían una alternativa para el desarrollo de la persona con discapacidad.

El Código Técnico de la Edificación (CTE) en el apartado de Seguridad de Utilización y Accesibilidad (SUA) incluye más de 200 parámetros de accesibilidad que a su vez derivan a otras normativas. Sin embargo, los Informes de Evaluación del Edificio (IEE), como se mostrará en este trabajo, plantean un análisis mucho más escaso y subjetivo, no existiendo correlación entre sus indicadores y todos los previstos en el CTE. El objetivo de esta comunicación es analizar los parámetros del CTE en su conjunto, estudiar la proporción de parámetros físicos, frente a sensoriales y cognitivos y generar una herramienta que permita el conocimiento y aplicación de la accesibilidad universal en los edificios de vivienda plurifamiliar de forma eficiente. La metodología desarrollada es una revisión bibliográfica de la normativa y su volcado a unos listados Excel diseñados para clasificar y cuantificar los datos, donde se observa un crecimiento del 32% al añadir las normativas relacionadas y un alto peso de parámetros físicosAbstractThe Technical Building Code (CTE) in the section on Safety in Use and Accessibility (SUA) includes more than 200 accessibility parameters that in turn derive from other regulations. However, the Building Evaluation Reports (IEE), as will be shown in this paper, propose a much more scarce and subjective analysis, and there is no correlation between its indicators and all those foreseen in the CTE. The aim of this paper is to analyse the parameters of the CTE as a whole, to study the proportion of physical versus sensory and cognitive parameters and to generate a tool that allows knowledge and application of universal accessibility in multi-family housing buildings in an efficient way. The methodology developed is a bibliographic review of the regulations and their dumping to Excel lists designed to classify and quantify the data, where a 32% growth is observed when adding the related regulations and a high weight of physical parameters.

[Resumen] El turismo accesible es una rama importante dentro del sector turístico a nivel mundial. Sin embargo, a pesar de los continuos avances en Accesibilidad y Diseño Universal (A.D.U), aún hay mucho por hacer en la generación de una verdadera industria que supla las demandas de una minoría significativa de viajeros con capacidades restringidas, y que requieren destinos portadores de la inclusión, seguridad y comodidad. Precisamente, se realizó la presente investigación, de tipo descriptiva y enfoque cualitativo, con el objetivo de proponer un plan de prácticas de desarrollo de turismo accesible para el destino Santa Clara. Con este fin, se utilizaron métodos y técnicas de los niveles teórico y empírico, tales como los métodos inductivo-deductivo y analítico-sintético, además de la observación directa y entrevistas de tipo semiestructuradas, que permitieron elaborar una matriz de análisis DAFO. Se obtuvo que las condiciones de accesibilidad turística en el destino Santa Clara no cumplen con los requerimientos necesarios para el disfrute óptimo de personas con discapacidades físicas y/o mentales. Se concluyó que Santa Clara constituye un sitio ideal para convertirse en modelo de implementación y gestión del turismo accesible. [Abstract] Accessible tourism is an important area within the tourism sector worldwide. However, despite continuous advances in Universal Design and Accessibility (UDA), there is still much to be done to meet the demands of a significant minority of travellers with restricted abilities, who require destinations that offer inclusion, safety and comfort. The aim of this study is to propose a development plan for Santa Clara as an accessible tourism destination. The study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach based on inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods, direct observation and semi-structured interviews, to produce a SWOT analysis matrix. The results show that Santa Clara does not currently meet the accessible tourism conditions necessary for optimal enjoyment of the destination by people with physical and/or mental disabilities. Nevertheless, the study concludes that Santa Clara is an ideal candidate to become a model for the implementation and management of accessible tourism.

El presente estudio analiza la producción científica sobre turismo accesible en las bases de datos ScienceDirect y Scopus asociada con 94 artículos originales publicados en el periodo que abarca de 2008 al primer semestre de 2019. La metodología es de un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo, en la cual se parte de la selección de palabras clave y criterios de búsqueda; se sigue con normalización, sistematización de indagación y el análisis de la información con el empleo de EndNote X8, Bibexcel, Pajek y vosviewer. Como resultado se identificó que el año de mayor productividad fue 2016, con un total de 18 publicaciones. Las revistas científicas con mayor producción fueron Annals of Tourism Research, con 17 publicaciones, y Tourism Management, con 11 divulgaciones. En conclusión: en el periodo estudiado se registró un paulatino crecimiento, por lo que se prevé para 2020 un aproximado de 17 publicaciones sobre la temática. Se identificó que los temas más comunes son discapacidad, accesibilidad, inclusión, turismo accesible y legislación.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é diferenciar acesso, acessibilidade e inclusão, partindo do pressuposto de que tais categorias têm sido utilizadas como se fossem sinônimas na escolarização de pessoas com deficiência. A construção dessa sinonímia é analisada e criticada. Para demonstrar as diferenças epistemológicas, pedagógicas e políticas dessas categorias que são estruturantes da educação especial na perspectiva da educação inclusiva, metodologicamente foram recuperadas as propostas de design universal, analisando-as com a contribuição de autores brasileiros e estrangeiros. Nos diferentes modos de interpretar o uso do design, a especificidade da inclusão emerge como potência política. A conclusão é que, na singularidade da inclusão, reside a possibilidade de projetar a escola como ecossistema inclusivo. Abstract The present article aims to distinguish among access, accessibility, and inclusion, based on the assumption that these categories have been used as if they were synonymous in the schooling of people with disabilities. The construction of this synonymy is analyzed and discussed critically. To demonstrate the epistemological, pedagogical and political differences among these categories that are structural to special education, from the perspective of inclusive education, the proposals of universal design were methodologically recovered and analyzed with the contribution of Brazilian and foreign authors. In the different ways of interpreting the use of design, the specificity of inclusion emerges as political power. It was concluded that the possibility of designing the school as an inclusive ecosystem lies in the uniqueness of inclusion. Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es diferenciar acceso, accesibilidad e inclusión, partiendo del supuesto de que estas categorías han sido utilizadas como sinónimos en la educación de personas con discapacidad. La construcción de esta sinonimia es analizada y criticada. Para demostrar las diferencias epistemológicas, pedagógicas y políticas de esas categorías que son estructuras de la educación especial en la perspectiva de la educación inclusiva, metodológicamente fueron recuperadas las propuestas del diseño universal, analizándolas con la contribución de autores brasileños y extranjeros. En diferentes formas de interpretar el uso del diseño, la especificidad de la inclusión emerge como una potencia política. La conclusión fue que, en la singularidad de la inclusión, radica la posibilidad de proyectar la escuela como un ecosistema inclusivo. Résumé L’objectif de cet article est de différencier les notions d’accès, d’accessibilité et d’inclusion, dans l’hypothèse que ces catégories ont été employées comme synonymes dans la scolarisation des personnes handicapées. Ce travail analyse et critique la construction d’une telle synonymie. Pour démontrer les différences d’ordre épistémologique, pédagogique et politique de ces catégories qui structurent l’éducation spéciale dans une perspective d’éducation inclusive, la méthodologie utilisée reprend les propositions de design universel en les analysant à la lumière d’auteurs brésiliens et étrangers. Parmi les différentes interprétations de ce que recouvre le design, la spécificité de l’inclusion se manifeste comme pouvoir politique. La conclusion indique que c’est bien dans la singularité de l’inclusion que réside la possibilité de concevoir l’école en tant qu’écosystème inclusif.

A través de este artículo recogemos los resultados de uno de los aspectos abordados en el marco de una investigación -vinculada al proyecto de I+D+I EDU2015/65716-C2-1-R financiado por el Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad y por los Fondos Feder- desarrollada en torno a la evaluación de programas de educación patrimonial para personas con Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA). Este trabajo ha sido realizado en el marco del Observatorio de Educación Patrimonial en España (OEPE), y tiene como objetivo conocer el estado de la accesibilidad en los museos de nuestro país y valorar el tipo de accesibilidad contemplada desde sus propuestas, en el caso de las instituciones que desarrollan programas para el colectivo objeto de estudio. Para ello comenzamos por realizar un análisis cronológico del término que nos sirve para delimitar el concepto y resaltar la importancia del mismo. A continuación presentamos los datos cuantitativos, resultado de la recogida de información realizada a través de los instrumentos empleados en la investigación. Finalmente, y centrándonos en la muestra del estudio, planteamos las conclusiones generadas de la misma en torno a la accesibilidad desarrollada en esos museos que apoyan uno de los principios de nuestro trabajo, que la persona ha de constituir el origen y el fin de cualquier acción educativa.
