Digital transformation accelerates the undertaking of online learning at various levels of education. Online learning mandates students to have high self-regulation skills. Therefore, self-regulated learning (SRL) plays an important role in the education field. In the third wave of SRL measurements, there is an idea of how measurement is applied concurrently with the intervention. This study proposes a learning diary that we call Diaria to take part in the third wave. Diaria was developed by means of the user-centred design with three phases, including design research, design prototype, and design evaluation. Usability testing was selected as an evaluation design method involving 30 participants. The evaluation results were examined based on several categories, including distribution of the System Usability Scale score, issues category, task performance, and potential solution. An initial investigation of the impact of learning diaries on students' SRL skills was carried out as a pilot study. This experiment involved 24 participants in a linear algebra course. The interview method was applied to collect data, followed by thematic content analysis to understand the resulting transcripts. The findings exhibited the prototype has good usability. In addition, recommendations for improvement are suggested. Meanwhile, the pilot study shows that there are various student learning strategies, advantages to a learning diary, and several valuable notes for the main study.

This study aimed to describe the practicality of physics learning devices with guided inquiry learning models using google site media. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tilango, and the study sample was class XI IPA, using a simple random sampling technique. This development study uses research and development research (R&D) using the developed ADDIE development model. It will be implemented in class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Tilango for odd quarters of the 2022/2023 Academic Year in determining research topics using simple sampling methods. The results showed that the guided inquiry learning model with google sites media on static fluid material was very well used in the learning process, with an average percentage of learning implementation of 91.2%, an average student response of 83.6%, and an average response of teachers by 92.03%. Results from the average percentage of teacher and student responses on learning tools are expanded into practical categories that can be applied to the learning process.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Inquiry-Based Learning model on students' scientific ability in Rotational Dynamics of a Rigid Bodies. This influence is seen from whether or not students can achieve the criteria of completeness by mastering three PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) indicators in 10 items on the test consisting of two questions to identify scientific problems, five question to explain phenomena scientifically, and three questions to interpret data and scientific evidence. The research method applied is the experimental method and uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design as a research design involving 4 classes, where 1 class acts as the experimental class and 3 classes as the replication class. Based on the statistical results of the t-test to test the research hypothesis, the t-count value for each sample class is greater than the t-table value. This shows that the use of the Inquiry-Based Learning learning model has an effect on students' scientific literacy abilities in the rotational dynamics of a rigid bodies

The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of physics learning tools using the Problem-Based Learning model with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on the material of elasticity and Hooke's law. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Batudaa High School, and the research sample used was class XI IPA1 using simple random sampling technique. This development research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model developed by Reiser and Mollenda which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation stages. The results of the study show that the validation of the entire learning device is stated to be very valid. The practicality of learning devices is determined by the average percentage of the implementation of learning carried out during two meetings reaching 97.61% with very good criteria, then for teacher and student responses through questionnaires give positive responses. The effectiveness of learning devices is seen through student activity data which obtains an average percentage of 90.30% obtained very good criteria and student learning outcomes data on elasticity and Hooke's law show an increase in the N-gain value of 0.74 included in the high N-gain criteria. This study concludes that physics learning tools that use the Problem-Based Learning model with a Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on elasticity and Hooke's law are included in the valid, practical and effective criteria to be applied in the learning process in class.

Online learning implementation has been growing year by year across countries, including Indonesia. Many higher education institutions use a Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate online learning. Unfortunately, many issues arise during online learning implementation, such as a lack of student behaviour monitoring. This study adopts an educational process mining technique to conduct weekly assessments of student behaviour during one semester. The study was undertaken in the following steps: problem identification, literature review, design of study context, log data collection from LMS, log data filtering, event data grouping, conversion of LMS logs to event logs, clustering, and process model discovery. The following findings were revealed in this research: the most frequently accessed features were course material, assignments, and forums; students accessed the LMS most frequently on lecture days; the number of student activities decreased in line with fewer instructions from lecturers; students who attained the best grades most frequently accessed the LMS, and vice versa; and high-achieving students had a more complex process model than other students. Therefore, this research suggests that systematic teaching strategies have a broader impact on student engagement and performance.

This current study investigates the use of online role-playing, in an online discussion forum, in learning the community of inquiry framework – an area of learning covered in the Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) course, an elective course for Computer Science undergraduate students at Universitas Indonesia. The participants were divided into different roles. Each group was triggered to discuss the implementation of online collaborative learning. A mixed-methods approach was utilised to analyse the qualitative and quantitative data. The result of content analysis exhibited students implementing all the components of the CoI framework. Teaching presence was the rarest, as students were focused on delivering their ideas. Social presence appeared in almost all messages since it is the easiest, and students can feel the impact immediately. The discussion moved to the integration phase but did not proceed to resolution. This study suggested some recommendations and future research topics.

The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in early 2020 around the world has implications for Indonesia’s education sector. This pandemic led to the Indonesian government policy to study from home at all academic levels using a distance learning approach. Studies on e-learning preparedness in Indonesia involving more comprehensive samples of universities during the pandemic are still limited. This study extended samples from several public and private universities in Indonesia to get a broader picture of e-learning readiness in various faculties with diverse university online learning cultures. This study used Rasch analysis to determine the validity and reliability of the instrument and differential item functioning (DIF) analysis to identify responses based on students’ demographic profiles. The results show that most students were ready to study online, but a few were not ready. Moreover, the results show significant differences in students’ e-learning readiness based on the academic year at university, the field of study, the level of organizational e-learning culture of the university, gender, and region. This work provides an insight into student readiness to study online, especially in higher education in Indonesia. The article presents the implications of online learning practices in universities and recommendations for future e-learning research.

Background Identifying women at high risk for preeclampsia is essential for the decision to start treatment with prophylactic aspirin. Prediction models have been developed for this purpose, and these typically incorporate body mass index (BMI). As waist circumference (WC) is a better predictor for metabolic and cardiovascular outcomes than BMI in nonpregnant populations, we aimed to investigate if WC is a BMI-independent predictor for preeclampsia and if the addition of WC to a prediction model for preeclampsia improves its performance. Methods We used a population-based cohort of 4,696 women with WC measurements taken in the first trimester. The influence of WC on the risk of developing preeclampsia was evaluated by multivariable logistic regression. We generated receiver operating characteristic curves and calculated the area under the curve (AUC) to evaluate the usefulness of WC measurements for prediction of preeclampsia. Results Women who developed preeclampsia had greater early pregnancy WC than women who did not (85.8 ± 12.6 vs. 82.3 ± 11.3 cm, P < 0.001). The risk of preeclampsia increased with larger WC in a multivariate model, adjusted odds ratio 1.02 (95% confidence interval 1.01–1.03). However, when adding BMI into the model, WC was not independently associated with preeclampsia. The AUC value for preeclampsia prediction with BMI and the above variables was 0.738 and remained unchanged with the addition of WC to the model. Conclusions Large WC is associated with a higher risk of preeclampsia, but adding WC to a prediction model for preeclampsia that already includes BMI does not improve the model’s performance., Graphical Abstract Graphical Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of competency of operators for private early childhood care and education (ECCE) across Malaysia, towards the development of carer-educator professional framework. The levels of competency included in this study are disposition, knowledge, skills and practices. In this study, quantitative research was conducted and 551 operators were randomly selected from various private ECCE across Malaysia. The ECCE includes children nursery (TASKA) and children preschool (TADIKA). Descriptive and inferential statistics based on one single t-test were applied to the survey data collected in order to answer the research objectives. In general, the study shows that all private ECCE operators have high level of competency in terms of disposition, knowledge, skills and practices except for operators of TASKA and operators that manage both TASKA and TADIKA. This study is important as early childhood education such as TASKA and TADIKA are the places where the foundation of a child’s development and the first formal education for children begins. Future research will investigate the relationship between the level of competency and years of service and Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) professional qualification of the operators.

Mutations that alter cellular receptor binding of influenza hemagglutinin (HA) have profound effects on immune escape. Despite its high mutation rate, it is not fully understood why human influenza HA displays limited antigenic diversity across circulating viruses. We applied phylogenetic analysis and phylodynamic modeling to understand the evolutionary and epidemiological effects of binding avidity adaptation in humans using net charge as a marker for receptor binding avidity. Using 686 human influenza A/H3N2 HA sequences, we found that HA net charge followed an age-specific pattern. Phylogenetic analysis suggested that many binding variants have reduced fitness. Next, we developed an individual-based disease dynamic model embedded with within-host receptor binding adaptation and immune escape in a population with varied partial immunity. The model showed that mean binding avidity was unable to adapt to values that maximized transmissibility due to competing selective forces between within- and between-host levels. Overall, we demonstrated stabilizing selection of virus binding in a population with increasing partial immunity. These findings have potential implications in understanding the evolutionary mechanisms that determine the intensity of seasonal influenza epidemics.

Collaborative learning requires a structured and open environment where individuals can actively exchange and elaborate their ideas to achieve a high-quality problem-solving solution. The use of concept map has been extensively implemented to facilitate idea generation and maintain shared focus during discussion. This study employs the Reciprocal Kit-Build (RKB) approach as a designed activity to support collaborative concept mapping. Though previous studies show the RKB is promising to promote productive discussion and achieve high-quality group products, they have not investigated how individual knowledge differences may potentially influence the effectiveness of collaboration. This study aims to identify the effect of group composition on learning effectiveness at the level of interaction between individual and group and at the level of the group as a whole. At the interaction level, we investigate the amount of knowledge transfer from shared and unshared individual knowledge to group solutions, while at the group level, the quality of collaborative maps is evaluated. Moreover, we explore the affective responses of learners during designated activities. A single group design is applied to illustrate the learning activities in a practical classroom settings where all students receive the same treatment. Our findings show that the transfer of individual shared and unshared knowledge is considerably high in all group conditions. Group composition does not significantly affect knowledge transfer and final group-outcome products; however, it may induce learners to experience different affective states. The results are essential for practitioners who intend to apply the RKB in their classroom to determine the appropriate group settings.

This paper presents to develop and validate the Early Childhood Care and Pre-Service Lecturer Instrument constructed to determine their level of competencies toward the quality of early childhood carers-educators’ professionalism in Malaysia. Components which affect the early childhood quality were characterized through inclusive literature reviews alongside interviews conducted with experts and experienced lecturers. In this study, two experts were elected to review this instrument so as to enhance its validity while 70 more lecturers in Malaysia were involved. There are four scales in principal component analysis pertaining the quality of early childhood professionalism, namely: (1) disposition, (2) knowledge, (3) skills, and (4) practices. The component loading range or respective instrument item were between 0.56 and 0.79, while the range for respective scales the alpha reliability coefficient were between 0.90 and 0.94. Concisely, the findings from this study corroborated the weight and consistency of the ECCEPre-Service Lecturer Instrument.

This study aims to analyze the effect of online technology on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The outbreak of the corona virus has an impact on all aspects of the life of the Indonesian people and has even hit the economy sector at large, including MSMEs. MSMEs have limited use of technology. This has further exacerbated the performance of MSMEs coupled with government policies in dealing with Covid-19 such as staying at home, social distancing and reducing activities outside the home, ultimately causing a decrease in MSME income. This research is a quantitative study using primary data. The population and sample of this research were all UMKM culinary rujak as many as 40. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using statistical descriptive analysis with simple linear regression. The results of the study found that there was an effect of the use of online technology on the performance of MSMEs. The implementation of this research is to provide input on alternatives that can be chosen by MSMEs during the Covid-19 Pandemic to maintain and improve their performance through the use of online-based technology.

Students with hectic college schedules tend not to have enough time repeating the course material. Meanwhile, after they graduated, to be accepted in a foreign company with a higher salary, they must be ready for the English-based interview. To meet these needs, they try to practice conversing with someone who is proficient in English. On the other hand, it is not easy to have someone who is not only proficient in English, but also understand about a job interview related topics. This paper presents the development of a machine which is able to provide practice on English-based interviews, specifically on job interviews. Interviewer machine (interviewer bot) is expected to help students practice on speaking English in particular issue of finding suitable job. The interviewer machine design uses words from a chat bot database named ALICE to mimic human intelligence that can be applied to a search engine using AIML. Naïve Bayes algorithm is used to classify the interview results into three categories: POTENTIAL, TALENT and INTEREST students. Furthermore, based on the classification result, the summary is made at the end of the interview session by using phrase reinforcement algorithms. By using this bot, students are expected to practice their listening and speaking skills, also to be familiar with the questions often asked in job interviews so that they can prepare the proper answers. In addition, the bot’ users could know their potential, talent and interest in finding a job, so they could apply to the appropriate companies. Based on the validation results of 50 respondents, the accuracy degree of interviewer chat-bot (interviewer engine) response obtained 86.93%.

Online learning allows the learning process to be carried out anywhere and anytime. However, empirical studies report several obstacles that occur in the online learning process; one of which is the lack of student involvement. The learning materials of programming lessons generally have a low level of participation. Therefore, it requires a learning approach that is more attractive, easily understood by students, and promote engagement. Gamification-based programming learning platforms are widely available today. Research on determining the effectiveness of their use, investigating the system usability scale (SUS), perceived benefits, level of satisfaction, and user experience when using it is still limited. This study aims to evaluate a Grasshopper as one of the gamification-based programming learning platforms. Thirty-one respondents who had studied various programming languages at both the high school and university levels were involved in usability testingsessions. The results of the usability evaluation using SUS showed that the score was above average. The assessment of benefits and satisfaction also showed an average value of 8.6 which indicates that most respondents were satisfied with this application.

ObjectiveTo test the hypothesis that cancer mortality rates among the Moluccan–Dutch, the oldest non-Western migrant group to arrive in the Netherlands after the Second World War, are similar to those in the general Dutch population.DesignPopulation-based retrospective study.SettingData from the national cause of death registry in the Netherlands and municipal registries.ParticipantsUsing historic records containing family names of all Moluccan–Dutch who arrived in the Netherlands in 1951, we identified 81 591 Moluccan–Dutch persons in the national cause of death registry of the Netherlands. The reference group consisted of 15 866 538 persons of the general Dutch population.Outcome measuresMortality data were linked to demographic data from municipal registries. We calculated all-cancer and cancer-specific mortality and measured differences between the two groups using Poisson regression, adjusting for sex, age and area socioeconomic status. We conducted a sub-analysis for the first-generation and second-generation Moluccan–Dutch.ResultsThere was no difference in all-cancer mortality between Moluccan–Dutch and the general Dutch population. Mortality was higher among Moluccan–Dutch for liver, cervix and corpus uteri cancers, but lower for stomach, oesophagus, kidney and nervous system cancers. For most cancers, mortality risk as compared with the general Dutch population varied between different generations of Moluccan–Dutch.ConclusionsSeveral decades after migration, the Moluccan–Dutch show similar all-cancer mortality, but different cancer-specific mortality rates, when compared with the general Dutch population.

The development of digital technology in the Industrial Age 4.0 focuses on the application of the Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). IoT as one of the main topics for technological advancement, which is useful for improving information and communication that is developing in the fields of manufacturing, infrastructure, business, economy etc. The development in the field of material technology can make small materials where the energy requirement to generate a device only requires a millivolt range of power, so by using energy from the surrounding environment which is converted into electrical energy, a device design for energy harvesting is required. The purpose of this research is to design a device that is sourced from various vibrations and converted into electrical energy. The concept of designing a vibration conversion mechanism into electric energy is by combining and optimizing the design of several existing tools (technologies). This research was tested experimentally by utilizing braking force. Tests are carried out using a data logger for further processing. From the results of the braking test, it is able to produce a maximum voltage of 0.9 V with a braking force of 34.72 N.

Since the first appearance of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), the problem of low completion rates in MOOC has often been an object of research in terms of the instructional design and interface design. However, in-depth studies that examine the implementation of instructional and interface design principles in learning on the MOOC platform are still limited. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the extent of Udacity in applying those principles from the Indonesian perspective. This study also aims to evaluate the usability of the MOOC platform. There are 228 participants in this study from various regions in Indonesia. The study findings indicate that Udacity has been successful in implementing content, interactivity, and course design, but there is still room for improvement in terms of instructor presence. Some usability problems were also found, and most of them are related to the online discussion forum. This study also offers an alternative design and recommendations to tackle the problems.

The Faculty of Computer Science of Universitas Indonesia has implemented online learning facilitated by a learning management system called Student-Centered E-Learning Environment (SCeLE). One of its important features is the online discussion board that enables students to construct knowledge collaboratively. Connecting and comparing several ideas in an online discussion forum are challenging for both students and teachers, especially when the discussion runs very fast with long messages. This study proposes an online collaborative mind mapping feature integrated to the discussion forum. A prototype was developed using the Go programming language and Gin web framework. The usability testing was employed to gather data about user experience in using the application. The participants of the study were all students of the Faculty of Computer Science of Universitas Indonesia. The result of the study shows that the application benefits most of the users. The participants acknowledged that the features help them follow the discussion and it supports the collaborative work. However, in terms of the design and the user experience, more works are required to improve the feature needs.

The type of earthquake that is most often felt in Indonesia is tectonic earthquakes. This type of earthquake is caused by the movement of the earth’s crust due power generated by tectonic plate shifts. Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat is one of the earthquake prone areas in Indonesia. In this research, we will analysis of tectonic earthquakes characteristics in Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat by descriptive statistics concept approach and analysis type of data distribution earthquakes 2018. The Data used are tectonic earthquakes 2018 in Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat of Indonesia and sourced from the USGS earthquake catalog. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the Government of Indonesia and Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat in disaster mitigation planning in Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat.

The coin recognition system is a very important role in currency processing systems which is aims to minimize human miscalculation and time to calculate coin values. The coin identifier and recognition to calculate the value of Indonesian coins based on android developer presented in this paper. The two coin parameters are used for coin recognition which are radius and colour of the coins. The Circle Hough Transform (CHT) method with gray scaling and erosion process as pre-processing image used to calculate radius parameters, based on android developer and computer vision. After the radius value is obtained then the average RGB value of the coins is detected to determine the colour parameters. By calculating the diameter and determining the colour, the coins can be recognized and the total value of the coins in the input image can be known. The experimental results show that the system has been obtained indicate that the system successfully recognized coins based on determined algorithm. That is mean the application using computer vision can recognition coin and count the value of coins.

In the robotic field of study, localization is one of the important methods for autonomous mobile robot navigation. Probabilistic approaches have received significant attention in the robotics community. The discrete Bayes and Kalman filters are the fundamental algorithms in probabilistic approach which have to be clearly understood in order to develop more advanced filtering algorithms. This paper discusses discrete Bayes and Kalman filtering algorithms. The mathematical representation of each filter algorithm, in the 1-dimensional case, presented in detail. The algorithms were implemented using python to simulate the probability of the robot position. The algorithm’s complexity was analysed with respect to the computational cost and size of memory used. From this study, it has been observed that the Kalman filter is computationally more efficient, and less memory is required.

This paper presents a study of long range (LoRa) communication for monitoring of a ship electrical system. Three categories of electrical system include generator, power distribution, and navigation are monitored. A low power communication technology of LoRa is used to transmit electrical variables such as current, voltage, and power are logged and sent to the server. Experiments using LoRa SX1278 and Arduino have been inducted to validate the performance of the communication. Three spreading factors 12, 7, 6 have been tested. From experiments results, the performance of the communication has been analysed, if has been found that 97% successful data transmission was achieved with maximum distance. Furthermore, small baud rate communication was more suitable for the application.

In accessing or searching data by using Query or Join on applications that are connected to a database, the usefulness of the implementation of the data and the process time is important to note. There are many ways that a system management database can do in processing and generating answers to a query. All methods will eventually produce the same answer (output) but they would still have different values, such as the time to respond to data. Some queries that are often used for processing data are Hash Join and Nested Join, both queries have different algorithms but produce the same output. A client-based or network-based application was employed to test both algorithms or queries with running time parameters or the time to respond to data. The test was conducted by connecting the number of tables and the number of rows/records. The result of the study is that the query hash join’s speed in response to small amounts of data is better than the large data in the nested join.

This study aims to prove that if there has been an increase in the value of assets, leverage and corporate social responsibility influence on increasing the value of shares in the Indonesian capital market as a result of the implementation of good corporate governance in Indonesia. This study is a survey of a sample of 19 corporations that have implemented good governance and implement corporate social responsibility. We used fixed effect multivariate regression analysis to examine the dependent variables influences the independent variables. The result of the study show that by implementing good corporate governance can increase the value of corporate assets as well as the impact on the increase in value of the corporate stock market value. This is consistent with Dowling’s research that the implementation of good corporate governance is associated with increased long-term corporate image that will have implications on the value of the corporation. Good governance can explain the relationship between the various parties participating in the corporation that determines the direction of the value of corporate stocks. The model as a whole is significant explaining variation in dependent variable. Which is explaining by R-square 0.68 means that 0.32 explaining by external variables out of the model. Corporate governance influence to corporate size, leverage, agency cost and corporate social responsibility is up to 0.5275 it means moderate strong. Corporate governance influence to corporate stock value is only 0.0084 it means less significant. While corporate size, leverage, agency cost and corporate social responsibility influence to corporate stock value is 0.1477 means less significant.

The increasing concern about building energy consumption and its impacts on the environment has made building owners and designers to incorporate energy efficiency (EE) measures into their projects. In Malaysia about 20% of construction output or RM1.2 billion is derived from refurbishment projects. Therefore, incorporating EE in refurbishment projects would help to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. However, the integration of new EE design into existing buildings is complex. Many old buildings are already obsolete and the building components and existing services used are not energy efficient. Matching the existing structures, components and services with the new energy efficient criteria is difficult. To integrate modern technologies into old and obsolete design is complex. This problem is compounded by the lack of design information and uncertainties of building refurbishment projects. The complexity and uncertainty of refurbishment require a design team to have the relevant attributes such as knowledge of energy efficiency design tools and many more. Thus, the complexity of refurbishment projects and the attributes of the design team which are the main factors that determine the energy efficiency design performance of refurbished buildings need to be established.

The Readability of the Indonesian Textbook Discourse "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition Using Cloze Test Methode On Grade X SMAN 1 Makassar. This research aimed to describe the readability of discourse in the Indonesian textbook "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X SMAN 1 Makassar. The method used in this research is a quantitative survey methods that describe the readability level of the Indonesia textbook "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X at SMAN 1 Makassar. The population of this research was all students of grade X at SMAN 1 Makassar. Sampling on this population was selected by using cluster random sampling. The sample in this research there were two classes, X MIA 5 and X IIS 3. Data collection techniques in this research is the cloze test. Data obtained using the formula cloze test. The results showed that out of the eight tested discourse to the students there are six discourse that is at the readability level independent/easy. There is a discourse belonging to the category of reading level instructional/medium. Average readability level was 68% overall discourse in the category reading level independent/easy, indicating that the level of discourse is very high readability. Results like that makes the discourse in the Indonesian Textbooks "Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik" Second Edition on grade X published by the Ministry of Education and Culture is not good enough to be used as teaching materials.

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning achievement of students of SMAN 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo through the use of blogs as a learning medium. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles in eight meetings, each meeting 2 x 45 minutes, and each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 4 of SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo in the academic year of 2017/2018 with a total of 33 students. Data collection techniques are observation, tests, field notes, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, comparative analysis. The results showed that the use of blogs was proven to improve learning achievement. This can be proven from the increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness of the learning value of 88.85% and the average grade value of 84.85, resulting in an increase in the average grade of 12.45 (pre-value 72.40 cycle and the value of the first cycle 84.85) and the completeness of the results of the learning value of 41.30% (in the pre cycle 47.55% and cycle I 88.85%). Whereas for the results of learning cycle II the average grade value increased by 2.51 (the value of cycle I was 84.85 and cycle II 87.36) and completeness was 6.15% (in cycle I 88.85% and cycle II 95.00%). It was concluded that the use of blogs as learning media to improve learning achievement had achieved the expected results in this study, each of which had achieved an achievement indicator of> 75%

Background. In Indonesia, schistosomiasis is endemic in Napu and Bada Highlands in Poso District and Lindu Highland in Sigi District, Central Sulawesi. Schistosomiasis in Indonesia is caused by blood fluke (trematode worm) Schistosoma japonicum with Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis snail as an intermediate host. The presence of Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis is an indicator of an area to be called a focus area for Schistosoma japonicum. Integrated control of schistosomiasis is vital in schistosomiasis control. However, lack of coordination and collaboration between multiple sectors has occurred many times. The objective of this study was to identify the role of multi-sectoral in schistosomiasis control. The identification process was needed to engage multisectoral in schistosomiasis control program. Methods. A comprehensive snail survey was conducted in Napu, Lindu and Bada Highland in 2017 which found 242 O.h. lindoensis foci area in 21 villages where 208 snail foci located in 14 villages in Napu highland. This research was part of 2017 study of 'Mapping of Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis snail', the intermediate host of schistosomiasis in the endemic area in Indonesia. After the mapping was carried out, an action plan to control schistosomiasis was designed by invited related sectors from the province and Poso district to develop the action plan together. Results. In order to eliminate schistosomiasis, several sectors both from province and Poso district were committed to engaging in schistosomiasis control. Those sectors were Agency for Regional Development, Agriculture Office, Maritime and Fisheries Office, Plantation and Livestock Office, Public Works Office, Environmental Office, Health Service and Lore Lindu National Park Agency. To eliminate schistosomiasis, integrated control of schistosomiasis has played a significant role. The responsibility and task of each sector involved were made clear according to each sector duty and function with the goal of the elimination of schistosomiasis by 2020.

BACKGROUND Individuals with chronic hepatitis B virus infection (HBV) or previously resolved HBV are at increased risk of HBV exacerbation or reactivation when they receive treatment with anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies (against B-lymphocyte antigen cluster of differentiation 20 [CD20], an activated-glycosylated phosphoprotein) like rituximab (RTX). The objective of the current study was to evaluate the rates of appropriate HBV screening before patients started receiving RTX, at the initiation of HBV treatment, and during HBV flares among an underserved safety-net population. METHODS In total, 244 consecutive adults who received treatment with RTX from 2006 to 2015 at an urban safety-net hospital were evaluated to determine appropriate HBV screening (HBV surface antigen [HBsAg] and HBV total core antibody [HBcAb]) before starting RTX. The initiation of prophylactic antiviral therapy and the development of HBV flares after starting RTX were evaluated. Predictors of appropriate HBV screening were evaluated using multivariate logistic regression models. RESULTS Most patients were women (52.7%; n = 128) and of Hispanic ethnicity (30.7%; n = 74). Before starting RTX, 60.5% (n = 147) of patients received appropriate HBV screening. Student Centered e-Learning Environment (SCeLE) has substantial roles to support learning activities at Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia (Fasilkom UI). Although it has been used for about 10 years, the usability aspect of SCeLE as an e-Learning system has not been evaluated. Therefore, the usability aspects of SCeLE Fasilkom UI as a learning support system and what makes SCeLE Fasilkom UI an ideal system are not known yet. Motivated by the mentioned conditions, the researchers found an urge to conduct a usability evaluation in order to propose a set of recommendation for SCeLE usability improvement, based on usability evaluation reflecting both students and lecturers experience as user.In this present research, the usability testing was conducted for SCeLE, targeting learning activities underwent by undergraduate students at Fasilkom UI, in the form of blended mode online learning. The data collection stage in the usability testing was performed by distributing questionnaire to students and interviewing several lecturers and students. The collected data was then analyzed and interpreted to obtain usability problems and solution alternatives. The quantitative data was analyzed using central tendency as reference, while the qualitative data was analyzed using theme-based content analysis. Data interpretation was performed by determining how to handle each kind of data based on the theme, and classifying each of the identified usability problem based on its severity rating.The recommendations constructed to solve the usability problems were based on solution alternatives from the analyzed data supported by literature study. The present research comes up with seven main recommendations and an extra recommendation. The main recommendations are solutions to tackle the identified usability problems, while the extra recommendation is not directly related to any of identified usability problems, but was considered potential to improve the SCeLE usability.
