Research has been conducted on hydrazine hydrate. The selective oxidation of sulfides to sulfones and the role of hydrazine hydrate in sulfone transformation into 3-hydrazinopyridazines have been investigated and discussed.

Research has been conducted on the vanadium oxyacetylacetonate catalytic system. The use of this system for the aerobic oxidation of propargylic alcohols and the mechanistic aspects of this catalytic reaction are discussed.

Research has been conducted on the caffeic acid. The reaction of this acid with nitrite in the acetate buffer containing methanol has been carried out and the results indicate that this reaction produces furoxan, benzoxazoline, 2-hydroxy- and 2-methoxyaldoximes, 2-oxoaldoxime, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid and 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde.

Research has been conducted on the photoinduced substitution reaction of halogenated alkenes with amines or alcohols. The study of this reaction producing corresponding alkane-substituted amines or ethers and HCl is reported.

Research has been conducted on the chloroperoxidase which catalyzes cyclopropylmethanols' enantioselective oxidation. Results indicate that the enantioselectivity of cis-cyclopropanes' chloroperoxidase oxidation is higher than with the trans isomers.
