Oxidation of primary amines to oxaziridines using molecular oxygen (O (sub)2) as the ultimate oxidant

Research has been conducted on the hydroxylamines, synthetic precursors for the hydroxamic acids. The cobalt-catalyzed process with the molecular oxygen allowing imine oxidation from the primary alkylamines including imine derived from the L-lysine methyl ester is described.
